  • John Stamos: Who is This Mystery Woman in the “Fuller House” Star’s Life?

John Stamos has a new woman in his life. He shared this news on Friday while a guest on The View.

Stamos appears in and serves as one of the producers of the new Netflix series Fuller House. He reprised his Full House role as Uncle Jesse.

Before sharing his exciting news, John Stamos mentioned his love of the Beach Boys.

“Of all the things I get to do in my life, that is my all-time favorite thing. They’re really cool, they’re older gentlemen but they’re super hip to social media,” he said, before mentioning the new mystery woman.

“The other night [during a concert], I grabbed my phone ’cause this girl I’m dating…she loves this song, ‘Disney Girls,’” John Stamos said. “So I put on FaceTime. I thought I could get away with it, but people were tweeting, ‘Who are you FaceTiming?!’”

The View’s co-host Joy Behar quickly asked Stamos if the mystery woman is “submissive or dominant” in the bedroom. The ladies on the show were discussing this topic prior to John Stamos’s stint on the show.

“I just like my women, either way,” he answered.

John Stamos was married to actress Rebecca Romijn from 1998 to 2005. While he doesn’t share the name of his new mystery woman, fans no doubt hope they two are a good match.

As for making her a permanent part of his life, that remains to be seen, too. Between Fuller House and Grandfathered, John Stamos is one very busy man.

  • “Full House” Final Season: John Stamos Shares Nostalgia in Light of “Fuller House” Premiere

Full House preceded Fuller House by decades, and in light of the premiere of Fuller House on Friday, John Stamos seemed to be feeling a bit nostalgic. He drew fans back to the end of the final season of Full House–just to tug on their heartstrings.

Stamos, who is reprising his Full House role as Uncle Jesse in the reboot, took to social media to share the Full House cast’s final bows.

  • John Stamos Shares Throwback Video of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Is He Disappointed They Didn’t Sign on to “Fuller House?”

John Stamos shared an adorable throwback video of Mary-Kate and ashley Olsen on Sunday. The Olsen twins shared the role of little Michelle Tanner in the hit TV show Full House. Just days ahead of the Full House reboot–Fuller House–premiere, it appears John Stamos might be feeling disappointment over Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen choice of not signing on to join the cast.

In the video–shared on John Stamos’s Instagram account–he is seen playing with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen in the grass during a trip to Hawaii.

Stamos captioned his post quite simply.

Stamos reprises his role in Fuller House. The reboot premieres via Netflix this coming Friday, February 26. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are the only cast members not to sign on to the reboot.

Fans will no doubt love Fuller House just the same. In addition to John Stamos, they will see Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber, Lori Loughlin, Bob Saget, Dave Coulier, and more settle into new, but familiar, roles 20 years after Full House.

In addition to playing Uncle Jesse on Fuller House, John Stamos can also be seen on his hit Fox show, Grandfathered, where he stars alongside Josh Peck.

John Stamos must have felt like he was part of a series of throwback pictures ever since filming for Fuller House began this summer. Recently wrapping the first season, Fuller House will appear on Netflix starting in 2016.

John Stamos is reprising his role as Uncle Jesse in the Full House reboot. His Full House wife, Lori Loughlin, reprised her role as Aunt Becky, too.

Stamos serves as one of the show’s producers, too.

It was about a month ago that John Stamos shared another throwback picture of himself. This one couldn’t have been taken too long after his high school prom.

“My Best–John Stamos,” he captioned it.

John Stamos isn’t that adorable high school kid any more–he’s even more handsome. He’s one of those rare, very fortunate people who gets even better looking as he ages.

  • Jodie Sweetin: Recovering Addict Worked at Treatment Center, Looks Forward to ‘Fuller House’

Jodie Sweetin is a recovering addict–something she speaks of openly. When Full House ended, she found acting gigs, but only sporadically. In recent years she worked as director of a drug and alcohol treatment center. This work provided valuable life experiences, as well as an income, but acting was always her first love and first choice of jobs.

These days Jodie Sweetin has left her job at the treatment center and has returned to acting. She is reprising her role as Stephanie Tanner on the upcoming Full House reboot, Fuller House. She was as excited about working with her former cast mates as she was for her return to acting.

“I was completely on board with it,” Sweetin said during a phone interview while taking a break from filming Fuller House. “I stepped away from (acting) for a little while and enjoyed a normal experience, but when this came along, I got to go back and do the thing that I love. I missed it terribly and am beyond thrilled to be back.

“The show is so well loved,” Jodie Sweetin added. “My kids are seven and five and watch the show. They think it’s hilarious to see their mom as a kid doing silly stunts and dance moves on the show. They come to the set now and are so excited to see me doing it again. They’ve known the cast their whole lives from barbecues, birthday parties and swimming.”

In addition to Jodie Sweetin, Fuller House will star Candace Cameron Bure as D.J. Tanner, Andrea Barber as Kimmy Gibbler, John Stamos as Uncle Jesse (Stamos also serves as one of the show’s producers), Bob Saget as Danny Tanner, Lori Loughlin as Aunt Becky, and Dave Coulier as Uncle Joey.

Noticeably absent are the Olsen twins. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen won’t be reprising their role as Michelle Tanner.

Will you be tuning in to Netflix in 2016 to check out Jodie Sweetin and the old Full House gang in Fuller House?

  • Lori Loughlin Turns 51, Celebrates With Aunt Becky-Uncle Jesse Reunion on ‘Fuller House’ Set

Lori Loughlin turned 51 earlier this week, and she celebrated her birthday with an Aunt Becky-Uncle Jesse reunion on the set of Fuller House.

John Stamos, who recently spent some time in rehab for an alcohol problem, teased the reunion in a photo he shared on Instagram.

The photo featured him holding hands with Lori Loughlin–both hands atop a Fuller House script.

Shortly thereafter he shared a photo of the beautiful roses the cast presented to Lori Loughlin on her birthday.

“Becky and Jesse together Forever. #FullerHouse. #Netflix,” he captioned the following photo.

Stamos captioned this beautiful shot of Lori Loughlin and some of the Full House and Fuller House cast members, “51 Flowers for our favorite fun girl. #HappyBirthdayBecky.”

He later shared a photo in which he was being chased by Lori Loughlin.

“Running from birthday woman!! @loriloughlin,” he captioned it.

It’s certainly fun for Full House fans to see Lori Loughlin and John Stamos–as Aunt Becky and Uncle Jesse–together again on the Fuller House set. Who would have dreamed that they’d be filming together again as Lori Loughlin turns 51?

In addition to John Stamos and Lori Loughlin, Fuller House stars Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber, Dave Coulier, Bob Saget, and Scott Weinger. The Olsen twins–Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen–initially turned down an offer to appear on the Full House reboot, but recent reports say not to count them out for good just yet.

Happy birthday wishes surely went out to Lori Loughlin from Full House fans all around the globe this week. Those same fans are no doubt waiting anxiously for Fuller House to premiere on Netflix in 2016.

    Are you among those fans?

  • ‘Fuller House’ Welcomes Another ‘Full House’ Alum: D.J. Tanner’s Boyfriend Steve–Played by Scott Weinger–Joins Cast

Fuller House is officially in production, and the soon-to-be Netflix series has welcomed yet another Full House alum on board. Fans will surely remember D.J. Tanner’s soulmate, Steve. Scott Weinger has officially signed on to Fuller House to reprise the role.

So what has Scott Weinger done since Full House ended? He became a successful TV writer. Weinger has written for shows including Galavant, Black-ish, The Neighbors, and 90210.

How Scott Weinger will play into Fuller House is unknown as of yet. Candace Cameron Bure is reprising her role as D.J. Tanner as a widowed mom with children. Do you think Steve will be her late husband in flashbacks or a love interest who comes back into her life after many years apart? The second option would certainly be far more romantic–don’t you think?

Other Full House actors who have signed on to Fuller House include Jodie Sweetin as Stephanie Tanner, Andrea Barber as Kimmy Gibbler, John Stamos as Uncle Jesse, Dave Coulier as Uncle Joey, and Bob Saget as Danny Tanner.

Did you love how D.J. Tanner and Steve were so perfect together on Full House? Are you excited to learn they will be back together again–in some capacity, anyway–on Fuller House?

  • John Stamos: ‘Full House’s’ Uncle Jesse in Rehab for Substance Abuse

John Stamos of Full House and ER fame is in rehab for substance abuse. The actor checked himself in to a residential program nearly a month after he was arrested and charged with DUI in Beverly Hills back on June 12. Stamos was hospitalized that same night with an undisclosed illness.

Following his arrest and hospitalization, John Stamos Tweeted his followers.

This spring John Stamos announced that Netflix would be airing a Full House reboot starting in 2016. He will serve as producer and make appearances on the show as Uncle Jesse. Called Fuller House, the new show will star Candace Cameron Bure, Andrea Barber, and Jodie Sweetin in their former Full House roles as D.J. Cameron, Kimmy Gibbler, and Stephanie Tanner–all grown up. Lori Loughlin, Dave Coulier, and Bob Saget will appear on the show from time to time.

John Stamos is also set to star on a new Fox sitcom called Grandfathered. That show premieres this fall.

Hopefully the actor’s stint in rehab won’t delay filming for either of these projects. It’s likely that those working with Stamos understand his need for this residential program.

Many people were shocked to learn John Stamos had been arrested for DUI last month. Do you suppose they’re equally as shocked to learn he has checked himself into rehab?

Kudos to John Stamos for seeking the help he needs.

  • Jodie Sweetin Talks Michelle Tanner, Absence of Olsen Twins on ‘Fuller House’

Jodie Sweetin dished to Us Weekly about the Full House reboot, Fuller House, while attending the premiere of Insidious on Thursday. She shared that Michelle Tanner will very much be a part of the show–even though Olsen twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have turned down the opportunity to star in the new show.

Will someone else play the role of Michelle Tanner?

    No.

“The Michelle character is still going to have a presence. It’s not like we’re not talking about her,” Jodie Sweetin said. “I love and support [Mary-Kate and Ashley], and I think we’re going to be just fine.”

Jodie Sweetin and her costars Bob Saget (Danny Tanner), Dave Coulier (Joey Gladstone), John Stamos (Jesse Katsopolis), Lori Loughlin (Rebecca Donaldson), Candace Cameron Bure (DJ Tanner), and Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler), are set to begin production on Fuller House in July. Sweetin expects the first day the cast is all together will be spectacular.

“We first started talking about this in like 2007, 2008 about trying to do some sort of a spinoff and kind of bringing the characters back. This has been a long time in the making,” she explained. “I had kind of given up for periods of time where I’m like, ‘It’s not going happen!’ But we pitched it to Netflix and they were so excited about it.”

Jodie Sweetin is excited about playing a grown-up Stephanie Tanner.

“I think that Stephanie is going to be a really interesting, complex, deep character,” she said.

Do you share Jodie Sweetin’s enthusiasm about Michelle Tanner still being a part of the reboot without actually being on the show? Will that be enough for Full House fans? Or do you think Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s refusal to take part in Fuller House will wind up playing negatively into the series?

  • Bob Saget to Reprise Danny Tanner Role on ‘Full House’ Spinoff, John Stamos Thrilled

Bob Saget was the missing piece of the Fuller House puzzle, but as of the wee hours of Friday morning, he’s a done deal, too. Yes, Bob Saget will reprise his role as Danny Tanner in the Full House spinoff, to the delight of fans. No one is more excited about this, however, than John Stamos, who has worked diligently to get most of the original cast members–including Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber, and Dave Coulier–to sign on to the new show.

Stamos is serving as both producer and actor for the reboot, which will air via Netflix starting in 2016. He is reprising his role as Uncle Jesse on a recurring basis. On Thursday, Lori Loughlin, who played his wife in Full House–Aunt Becky–confirmed she is returning for the reboot.

John Stamos shared his elation via Twitter about his friend Bob Saget throwing his hat into the Fuller House ring.

He was clearly very tired when he posted to Twitter, but caught his spelling error, which he shared in another post.

The only members of the original Full House cast who aren’t returning for the spinoff are the Olsen twins. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen aren’t reprising their role as Michelle Tanner, much to everyone’s dismay.

Bob Saget will no doubt represent a huge boost to both the cast’s morale and to the show itself. After all, he was the single dad who raised D.J. Tanner, Stephanie Tanner, and little Michelle Tanner with the help of Uncle Jesse, Aunt Becky, and Uncle Joey–played by Dave Coulier. Like John Stamos, Lori Loughlin, and Dave Coulier, Bob Saget will reprise his role on a recurring basis.

Fuller House will shine its spotlight on a pregnant and widowed D.J. Tanner-Fuller (Cameron-Bure), who is living in San Francisco with her aspiring musician sister Stephanie Tanner (Sweetin) and fellow single mom Kimmy Gibbler (Barber).

Are you excited to learn Bob Saget will return for Fuller House?

  • Lori Loughlin A Definite for ‘Full House’ Reboot, Aunt Becky and Uncle Jesse Reuniting

Lori Loughlin will reprise her role as Aunt Becky–the wife of John Stamos’ character Uncle Jesse on Full House–when the reboot, Fuller House, begins filming this summer. Fuller House will air on Netflix, and will star Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, and Andrea Barber.

Lori Loughlin made her official announcement on Thursday on Good Morning America.

“I’m very excited,”she said. “Officially I am going to be a part of the reboot, or spin off, Fuller House.”

A few weeks ago, when asked about the spinoff, Lori Loughlin said she would appear on the show only if “the powers that be are fair to all of us.”

Loughlin, like John Stamos and Dave Coulier, won’t appear in every episode of Fuller House.

“We’re going to help Candace and Jodi and Andrea like spin off the new show…,” Lori Loughlin explained. “We’ll come back and we’ll do the first episode and then maybe throughout the season we’ll pop up here and there.”

Two Full House actors who won’t appear in the reboot are the Olsen twins–Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.

“We would have loved it, it would have been great but I understand,” Lori Loughlin said of the actors who together played the role of Michelle Tanner.

Filming for Fuller House is set to begin this summer. Full House ended back in 1995, but most of the cast members stayed close.

“We truly, truly had a great time,” Loughlin said. “I think it’s one of the reasons it was so successful because I think you really could tell we enjoyed being with one another.”

Kudos to Lori Loughlin for reprising her role as Aunt Becky on Fuller House. After all, it just wouldn’t be the same to have Uncle Jesse (John Stamos) without his beautiful wife.

Were you a Full House fan? Are you excited about Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber, John Stamos, Dave Coulier, Lori Loughlin, and more coming together once again to reprise their beloved characters?

  • John Stamos ‘Heartbroken’ Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen Won’t Reprise Role on ‘Fuller House’

John Stamos is reportedly heartbroken that Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen won’t reprise their role as Michelle Tanner on the upcoming Full House reboot, Fuller House.

Stamos, who played Uncle Jesse in Full House, and is both producing Fuller House and reprising his Uncle Jesse role on a guest-starring basis.

The new 13-episode series will premiere on Netflix next year.

John Stamos took to Twitter to voice his disappointment in the Olsen twins’ decision.

He shared another Twitter message shortly thereafter, offering a bit more of an explanation.

In addition to John Stamos, Fuller House will feature Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, and Andrea Barber in feature roles as D.J. Tanner, Stephanie Tanner, and Kimmy Gibbler, respectively. Lori Loughlin, Bob Saget, and Dave Coulier will guest star on the Full House reboot.

John Stamos also issued a statement via Facebook about the love the Full House actors have for their roles.

Just so you reporters know – this is not a money gig for any of us- quite the opposite – we want to give the fans what…

Posted by John Stamos on Friday, May 22, 2015

There can’t be too many people who are surprised that Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen aren’t returning to Fuller House. Hopefully once filming for the Netflix show begins, John Stamos won’t feel as much heartbreak and will instead feel only excitement and joy.

  • Olsen Twins: Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen Not Returning to TV for ‘Full House’ Reboot, John Stamos Not Happy

The Olsen twins won’t reprise their role as Michelle Tanner in the upcoming Full House reboot.

“Although Ashley and Mary-Kate will not be a part of Fuller House, I know how much Full House has meant to them and they are still very much considered family,” executive producer Robert L. Boyett said in a statement to the Hollywood Reporter. “It has been exciting to see how they have built their professional careers, and I support their choice to focus on their fashion brands and various business endeavors. I appreciate their support and good wishes toward Fuller House.”

Does this surprise anyone? If so, it shouldn’t. The Olsen twins have been noticeably absent for everything akin to a Full House reunion the cast members have held or attended for years.

And then, of course, there was that comment made when Netflix and John Stamos officially announced the inception of Fuller House, saying the Olsen twins were unaware of the reboot.

“We just found out about it today,” Mary-Kate Olsen said the day after John Stamos confirmed rumors of the spinoff were true. “I guess we’re going to talk to the creators and see what’s happening.”

John Stamos was quick to respond to her comment, and he cried ‘bullsh*t!’

Stamos–who will both produce and guest star on Fuller House–made amends with the Olsen twins shortly thereafter, however. He had a conversation with Mary-Kate Olsen and apparently decided to let sleeping dogs lie.

Since receiving the final word from the Olsen twins about appear on Fuller House, John Stamos is said to be ‘heartbroken.’

And given a statement he posted on Facebook, John Stamos seems a bit irate with the Olsen twins, too.

Just so you reporters know – this is not a money gig for any of us- quite the opposite – we want to give the fans what…

Posted by John Stamos on Friday, May 22, 2015

Surely no one is surprised the Olsen twins aren’t returning to appear in Fuller House. Fans can look forward to Candace Cameron Bure, however, who will reprise her role as D.J. Tanner. Jodie Sweetin will be back as Stephanie Tanner, too, as will Andrea Barber as Kimmy Gibbler. Along with John Stamos as Uncle Jesse, Dave Coulier, Lori Loughlin, Bob Saget, and more will reprise their roles on a guest starring basis.

  • Jodie Sweetin Talks ‘Dream Come True’ Reprising Stephanie Tanner in ‘Fuller House’

Jodie Sweetin calls the reprisal of her Full House character Stephanie Tanner a ‘dream come true.’ During a recent interview with Us Weekly she gushed with excitement over the show’s reboot, Fuller House.

“I am beyond thrilled!” she exclaimed. “To say I’m excited, I don’t think is quite an adequate term for it. I’m getting to do something and have an opportunity to be a part of something I hold incredibly dear to me, with people that are my family that I’ve known since I was five years old. To be able to go back and do this as an adult and really bring the Stephanie character back to life and who she is as an adult, who wouldn’t be excited to be able to do that?”

So what has Stephanie Tanner been up to in the years since Full House bid fans adieu? Jodie Sweetin was beyond excited to share details about her now grown-up character.

“Steph has been a world traveler. She is a little bit of a free spirit,” she explained. “She’s kind of an aspiring musician, she’s been traveling all over. I think she’s gonna be really fun to play.”

Jodie Sweetin plans on interjecting a bit of Jodie Sweetin into Stephanie Tanner as well. That will certainly be fun for fans to see.

“I think I’m gonna get to bring a lot of elements of myself to [Stephanie], which I did as a kid,” she shared. “But I don’t think I really realized I was doing it. When you’re a kid that’s just who you are. I think I’m going to get to bring some really fun life into Stephanie and who she is and what she’s up to.”

Candace Cameron Bure will reprise her Full House role as D.J. Tanner–Stephanie’s big sister. Andrea Barber will play D.J.’s BFF Kimmy Gibbler once again, too. John Stamos will reprise his Uncle Jesse role on a recurring basis, and just this week Dave Coulier announced he would be doing the same as surrogate Uncle Joey.

Are you excited about the Netflix airing of Fuller House starting in 2016? Filming is set to begin this summer. Do you think you–or any of the other Full House characters–are as excited as Jodie Sweetin?

  • Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen: John Stamos Says ‘Bullsh*t’ They Didn’t Know of ‘Full House’ Reboot

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have made headlines in recent days for a comment they made about the upcoming Netflix reboot of Full House. The Olsen twins claimed they didn’t know Fuller House was a definite.

When the spinoff was first announced by Netflix and later that same night by John Stamos–who also serves as producer–on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, it was said that actors Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, and Andrea Barber would lead the cast. Actors Lori Loughlin, Bob Saget, Dave Coulier, and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were reportedly in talks to work out deals for guest appearances.

“We just found out about it…I guess we’re going to talk to the creators and see what’s happening…I’m shocked I haven’t heard from John [Stamos],” Mary-Kate Olsen said a couple of days after the announcements were made.

Stamos–who will reprise his role of Uncle Jesse on Fuller House on a recurring basis–cried foul. Actually, he cried, ‘Bullsh*t.’

The difference stances taken by John Stamos and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen regarding the Full House reboot sort of indicate that communications might not be so great between them. Is there more than meets the eye in their relationship?

Jodie Sweetin, who will reprise her role as Stephanie Tanner in Fuller House, recently said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that many members of the Full House cast have stayed close throughout the years.

“I’ve kept in touch with pretty much everybody. I work in drug and alcohol treatment right now, and my office is actually right next door to where John Stamos was filming his new show. I heard about it from crew that worked next door. I called him and was like, “We’re literally sharing a parking lot right now.” So I stay in contact with Bob [Saget] and John. I’m really close with Dave Coulier and his wife Melissa. My family and I go over there for barbeques, for dinners, Super Bowl parties. Candace and I have remained close, and Andrea. It’s just crazy how much these people have been an integral part of my life,” she explained.

You’ll notice there was no mention of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen on that list.

It certainly sounds like there might be some bad blood between Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen and either John Stamos or the entire Full House cast.

Do you think the Olsen twins will reprise their role as Michelle Tanner? And how might they do that? After all, there are two actresses and just one role–and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen aren’t little kids like they were when they played Michelle Tanner.

  • Jodie Sweetin on ‘Full House’ Spinoff: ‘Too Good to Be True’

Jodie Sweetin is nothing if not elated with the upcoming Full House spinoff, Fuller House. Reprising her role as Stephanie Tanner alongside former cast mates and close friends Candace Cameron Bure and Andrea Barber is a dream come true for the actress.

“People have been waiting 20 years for Full House to come back,” she said during a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly.

“For a really long time, this is something we had hopes for—and I had gotten to a place where I was like, “You know what? If it happens, it happens.” I had no control over it. Jeff Franklin and I had a conversation yesterday, and we realized the first time we met and talked about bringing Full House back as a spinoff series was like, 2007 or 2008. Now that it’s actually happening, it’s almost too good to be true. To be able to do a series with people I love—who are like family—to play a character I loved so much and to be able to do that in this point in my life when things are going so well for me and I have a completely different perspective on things… I’m really, incredibly grateful,” Jodie Sweetin said.

Sweetin has long stayed close to many of her Full House cast mates.

Jodie Sweetin, Candace Cameron Bure, and Andrea Barber will be the Netflix spinoff’s mainstays on Fuller House. John Stamos will reprise his role as Uncle Jesse on a recurring basis. Talks are reportedly underway with Lori Loughlin, Bob Saget, Dave Coulier, and the Olsen twins about guest starring roles–although the Olsen twins made a bit of a recent stink about that. They claim they weren’t informed that the spinoff was a done deal, and that they weren’t a part of these talks.

John Stamos called them out on their comments.

Aside from the present Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen debacle, everything else about the Full House spinoff appears to be running smoothly, and Jodie Sweetin–for one–is especially excited about the opportunity she has been handed.

Will you be tuning in next year when Netflix releases the first 13 episodes of Fuller House, to see Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber, and more in their old Full House roles–all grown up?

Olsen Twins: John Stamos Says Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen Are Lying About Not Knowing of ‘Full House’ Spinoff

The Olsen twins made news recently when they claimed they just found out about the Netflix reboot of Full House. Fuller House is set to air on Netflix next year in a premiere season featuring 13 episodes. The show will star Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, and Andrea Barber in their Full House roles as D.J. Tanner, Stephanie Tanner, and Kimmy Gibbler. John Stamos will reprise his role as Uncle Jesse on a recurring basis. He is also one of the show’s producers.

When word broke last week about Fuller House, it was said that actors Lori Loughlin, Bob Saget, Dave Coulier, and the Olsen twins were in talks about whether or not they would reprise their roles on a recurring basis as well. Shortly thereafter, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen claimed they didn’t even know the spinoff was happening.

“We just found out about it…I guess we’re going to talk to the creators and see what’s happening…I’m shocked I haven’t heard from John [Stamos],” Mary-Kate Olsen said.

This clearly raised the ire of John Stamos, who spoke out via Twitter.

Does this indicate there’s been some trouble among old Full House cast mates?

Lori Loughlin indicated recently that perhaps some of the show’s actors weren’t offered deals quite as lucrative as those Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, and Andrea Barber received. But she also admitted money certainly isn’t an issue for the Olsen twins.

“They made deals with half the cast, but not the other half,” she said. “I think we would all like to come back, if the powers that be are fair to all of us,” Loughlin–who played Aunt Becky, wife of John Stamos’s character Uncle Jesse–said during an interview with Access Hollywood.

What do you suppose the real deal is with the Olsen twins? Have they become way too big for their Michelle Tanner britches?

And are you shocked to see ‘nice guy’ John Stamos call ‘bullsh*t’ on the fact that they said they knew nothing about the spinoff or talks of reprisal deals?

That said, what do you suppose the chances are that the Olsen twins will appear on Fuller House? And even if they did, how would they handle the two girls–one role situation?

  • Jodie Sweetin Talks D.J. and Stephanie Tanner, Kimmy Gibbler on ‘Full House’ Spinoff, ‘Fuller House’

Jodie Sweetin says she is incredibly grateful to be given to opportunity to once again portray her Full House character, Stephanie Tanner, in the show’s spinoff, Fuller House. In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, she talks about how excited she is as well.

When asked if she ever believed she’d once again play the role of Stephanie Tanner, Jodie Sweetin had the following to say.

To be able to do a series with people I love—who are like family—to play a character I loved so much and to be able to do that in this point in my life when things are going so well for me and I have a completely different perspective on things…I’m really, incredibly grateful,” she said.

Now that the Full House girls are all grown up, different characters will play the lead roles on Fuller House.

“It’s based around D.J., Stephanie and Kimmy, so there’s still going to be that really fun dynamic, which I’m looking forward to—Stephanie and Kimmy being arch nemeses, and teaming up to help D.J. [a pregnant, widowed mom of two]. It will be very similar, certainly, to the first Full House, but we’re definitely trying to bring it back as a little more modern take,” Jodie Sweetin explains. “Stephanie has sort of been the wild world traveler, and I’m looking forward to bringing to life Stephanie as she is today and creating a real backstory for her. She’s a free spirit, and that will be obvious in the character she’s become.”

Jodie Sweetin was just five years old when she first appeared on Full House. Now she has a daughter who is nearly that age.

“I was barely 5 when I started working on Full House, and Bea will be 5 in August. It’s crazy. I look at her and I’m like, I was working at this age, doing this whole crazy Full House life. What a trip,” she says. “She’s my little twin. She does remind me of myself a little bit at that age. She’s a funny little person, for sure. Both of my kids have my sense of humor—they’re definitely entertaining.”

Sweetin never lost touch with many of her Full House cast mates, and that will likely make creating the spinoff even easier.

“I’ve kept in touch with pretty much everybody,” she says. “I work in drug and alcohol treatment right now, and my office is actually right next door to where John Stamos was filming his new show. It’s just crazy how much these people have been an integral part of my life.”

Are you excited to get back in touch with the Full House cast members who will reprise their roles on Fuller House? In addition to Jodie Sweetin, Candace Cameron Bure and Kimmy Gibbler, John Stamos will make guest appearances in his role as Uncle Jesse. For now, however, many of the rest of the original cast members–Lori Loughlin, Bob Saget, the Olsen twins, and Dave Coulier–are uncertain as to whether or not they’ll return.

Netlfix has ordered 13 episodes of Fuller House thus far, meaning that in 2016, names like Jodie Sweetin, Candace Cameron Bure, and Andrea Barber will once again be on everyone’s lips, and in all the celebrity publications.
