  • Catelynn Lowell, “Teen Mom OG” Star, Enters Rehab Facility for Mental Health Issues

    Catelynn Lowell, one of the stars of MTV’s Teen Mom OG, has entered a rehab facility in Arizona for mental health issues.

    In an announcement to MTV News on Wednesday, Catelynn Lowell stressed that her treatment was for mental health issues and not for drug abuse.

    “I’m seeking help for myself and my family,” she said. “Thank you to all of my supporters. My family and I would appreciate some privacy at this time.”

    Catelynn Lowell also shared an Instagram post about her impending treatment.

    “Arizona here I come…I can’t wait to be back to my normal self…this is for me and my family…Novalee and Tyler I love you both very much!!!” she captioned it.

    Husband Tyler Baltierra will miss Catelynn Lowell. He indicated as much in a tweet to Amber Portwood.

    Prior to the announcement that Catelynn Lowell is entering a rehab facility, Tyler Baltierra asked for prayers for his wife.

    The day before she made her announcement, Catelynn Lowell shared a rather cryptic tweet.

    Kudos to Catelyn Lowell for entering this treatment facility. She is not only doing herself a great service, she is doing one for her husband and daughter as well.

    Suffering from depression and other forms of mental illness are no different that contracting a serious disease. Without the proper treatment, it cannot be cured or put under longterm control.

    Catelynn Lowell’s dad, David Lowell, posted a beautiful shot of the father-daughter dance he shared with Catelynn.

    He didn’t include a caption with his post, but once you see how lovely the photo is, you’ll realize no words are needed to express the sentiments Catelynn Lowell and her dad–as well as everyone else in the room–felt at the time.

    Catelynn Lowell’s groom posted a photo that shows off his new wedding ring.

    “It’s gonna take me awhile to get used to this.     Of course the MTV cameras were on site to caption Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra’s big day. The Teen Mom OG pair have been part of the MTV Teen Mom family for years. These shots, posted by Teen Mom MTV, feature co-stars Amber Portwood and Maci Bookout, as well as Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry. Many have remarked on how thin Maci Bookout is after having a baby–and have questioned whether or not what she wore was appropriate wedding attire. Others commented on how fabulous Amber Portwood looks in light of her significant weight loss.

  • Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra: ‘Teen Mom OG’ Stars Tie the Knot

    Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra–both stars of Teen Mom OG–married in a non-denominational wedding ceremony at Castle Farms in Charlevoix, Michigan on Saturday. The couple started dating back in the seventh grade.

    “I believe Cate was brought into this world and destined to be loved by me, cherished by me, admired by me, and forever cared for by me,” Baltierra, 23, told Us Weekly of marrying Catelynn Lowell. “There is no one else I would rather be than her husband and the father of her children…I’m so honored and blessed to be able to grow old with her.”

    Catelynn Lowell was just as excited.

    “I always prayed one day that Ty would be my husband, and I am beyond blessed that my prayers came true,” she said.

    Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra first became reality stars when, six years ago, they gave up their first child–a little girl named Carly–for adoption at birth. Carly and her adoptive parents attended the wedding on Saturday.

    The newlyweds have another child now–eight-month-old daughter, Nova Reign.

    This wedding was a long time coming. Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra first became engaged during the first season of Teen Mom, but called the engagement off in 2013 when Tyler admitted he wasn’t ready to get married.

    Now, with both of them 23, Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra–seemingly destined to spend their lives together–are finally husband and wife. Of the 154 guests who attended their wedding, some share TV time with the couple.

    Teen Mom OG costars Amber Portwood attended with her fiancé, Matt Baier; and Maci Bookout and fiancé Taylor McKinney, along with her son Bentley and the couple’s new baby girl, Jayde, also attended. Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry and her husband, Javi Marroquin, were also on hand to celebrate the big day. You’ll notice there was no mention of Farrah Abraham attended the wedding. At the beginning of Teen Mom OG, she called Catelynn Lowell “white trash.”

    Teen Mom and Teen Mom OG fans are no doubt thrilled for Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra. Not every Teen Mom star gets to see her dream come true.

  • Maci Bookout: ‘Teen Mom OG’ Star Gives Birth to Baby Girl

    Maci Bookout, star of Teen Mom OG, and her boyfriend Tyler McKinney, welcomed a baby girl into their lives on Friday, May 29th. Maci Bookout have birth to Jayde Carter McKinney at around 2:00 on Friday afternoon.

    This is the second child for Bookout and the first for McKinney. Maci Bookout shares a six-year-old son named Bentley with her ex-boyfriend, Ryan Edwards.

    Maci Bookout took to Twitter on Friday to announce the birth of their baby girl.

    Some Teen Mom OG stars shared their excitement with the proud parents via Twitter, too.

    Maci Bookout and Tyler McKinney recently became homeowners. A Tweet she posted just a few days before Jayde was born shows the ins and outs of new home ownership.

    Maci Bookout and Tyler McKinney were in the process of moving into their new home when the first season of Teen Mom OG wrapped.

    Now they’ll have even less time to deal with the constant repairs that accompany home ownership. They will be too busy with their new baby girl.

    Congratulations likely abound for both Maci Bookout and Tyler McKinney on the birth this past Friday of little Jayde.

  • Farrah Abraham, ‘Teen Mom OG’ Stars Attend MTV Movie Awards

    Farrah Abraham and her Teen Mom OG costars Amber Portwood and Catelynn Lowell walked the red carpet on Sunday at the MTV Movie Awards. This must have been a thrill for fans of the show who are used to seeing the Teen Mom clan decked out in casual ‘mom’ clothes. Amber Portwood, Catelynn Lowell, and Farrah Abraham got all dolled up in classy attire for the MTV event.

    According to a report from Us Weekly, Farrah Abraham–known for her time as a porn star and an erotic novelist, in addition to being a Teen Mom–wore a cutout silver gown that showed off her ample (surgically enhanced) cleavage.

    Amber Portwood looked very pretty in a short white dress with long sleeves, that she cinched with a cobalt blue belt. Catelynn Lowell wore a floor-length navy blue gown that she topped with a white jacket.

    Simon Saran accompanied accompanied Farrah Abraham to the MTV Movie Awards. Catelynn Lowell attended the event with longtime boyfriend and now fiance Tyler Baltierra. Amber Portwood only recent became engaged, and she brought her new fiance, Matt Baier, to the event. The girls did pose as a trio, however, for the cameras during their time on the red carpet.

    Fans of Teen Mom OG no doubt noticed that one of the show’s stars was noticeably absent from Sunday’s walk on the red carpet. Maci Bookout is getting close enough to her due date with her second child that she felt she’d better stay home.

    Catelynn Lowell Shares ‘Teen Mom OG’ Gender Reveal, Called Trailer Trash by Farrah Abraham

    Catelynn Lowell had some good moments and some bad ones on this past weekend’s episode of Teen Mom OG. The good was her gender reveal, when she and Tyler Baltierra learned what most had suspected all along–that they were having a baby girl.

    You’ll recall that Catelynn Lowell and her boyfriend gave up their first baby girl–Carly–for adoption, deciding at the time that they simply weren’t mature enough to raise a child. The two have weathered many storms since then, are now engaged, and expecting their second chance at parenthood–at least on the show.

    In reality, Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra have already welcomed their new bundle of joy.

    Even though Farrah Abraham has yet to appear on an episode of Teen Mom OG (so far the show has featured Catelynn Lowell, Amber Portwood, and Maci Bookout), she has managed to get in some hurtful digs from backstage. Probably the most insulting remark she made was aimed at Catelynn Lowell.

    The jab took place as Catelynn Lowell was speaking with the show’s host about ending her ongoing feud with Abraham. That’s when the former porn star dug her nails in deep.

    “There’s somebody still in denial,” she said to the show’s producers, snickering over her remark. “Still in denial land of white trash!”

    That wasn’t the end of her derogatory comments either. At least they weren’t all directed at Catelynn Lowell.

    “From the past I never initially got along with the girls. They had some other issues with myself from the get-go…I would never confide in them,” Farrah Abraham said.

    “Would I ever confide in people who are very fake and not real with themselves and kind of in denial and can’t empathize with someone? Of course not!” the erotic novelist continued.

    “She just burned bridges with everybody. What an idiot,” Amber Portwood said as she, Catelynn Lowell, and Maci Bookout simply shook their heads in disbelief at what they were hearing Farrah Abraham say.

    Fortunately for Catelynn, she knows what Farrah is all about. It would likely have stung far worse had Maci or Amber made a rude comment about her.

    This is no doubt a clear indication of what future episodes of Teen Mom OG will entail–and they’re likely to get even worse when Farrah Abraham starts appearing in them.

  • ‘Teen Mom OG:’ All About the Kids…and Farrah Abraham

    Teen Mom OG already has fans excited to see some of the ‘original girls’ back on TV. This week’s episode was all about the kids–from first days of school to a gender reveal. And even though she has yet to appear on screen, Farrah Abraham managed to get her digs in from backstage.

    On this week’s episode of Teen Mom OG, Amber Portwood accompanied her ex Gary Shirley to buy school supplies for daughter Leah. Turmoil ensued, however, on the first day of school when they pulled up to drop Leah off, and Gary Shirley’s girlfriend Kristina was waiting to share in Leah’s big day. Amber had a fit and even pushed the camera away. She refused to get out of the car to accompany Leah in to her first day of school.

    Maci Bookout celebrated son Bentley’s first day at kindergarten. Disappointed that Bentley’s dad, Ryan Edwards, not only didn’t show up for his first day of school, but also seems completely disinterested in his life in general, Maci headed to a visit with her therapist after dropping Bentley at school.

    Catelynn Lowell and fiance Tyler Baltierra are, of course, the young couple who gave their first baby, Carly, up for adoption. Now in a much better place to handle parenthood, they are expecting their second child together. In anticipation of their gender reveal, talk focused on whether they were having a little ‘princess’ or a little ‘Batman,’ (not sure if Tyler really believed the kid would have super powers or not) as well as the trite comments about having a healthy baby. The reveal confirmed what Teen Mom OG fans expected (knew) for quite some time now–Catelynn Lowell is having another girl.

    And then there’s Farrah Abraham–and while she hasn’t yet appeared on screen on Teen Mom OG, she’s lingering just off set, making rude comments. The most hurtful one she made was about Catelynn Lowell.

    Catelynn was speaking with the show’s host about ending her ongoing feud with the former porn star. That’s when Abraham went in for the kill.

  • ‘Teen Mom 2’ Stars Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra: So Much to Celebrate

    Teen Mom 2 stars Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra have so much to celebrate as 2015 gets underway.

    Of course, the biggest cause for celebration is the birth of their beautiful daughter, Nova Reign, born on New Year’s day and weighing in at 6 pounds, 12 ounces and measuring 19.5 inches.

    The proud parents couldn’t wait to share the good news on social media, but that works out just fine because their fans, who have been rooting for them, couldn’t wait to see the pics and share the good news.

    A week before Nova’s birth, Baltierra surprised Lowell with a special gift celebrating their love one more time. He offered his fiancé a new engagement ring, leaving her swooning.

    Yes, 2015 is a far cry from year’s past.

    The engaged couple decided to put their first child, daughter Carly, up for adoption in May 2009 and allowed America to witness the heart-wrenching process through MTV’s 16 and Pregnant.

  • Catelynn Lowell, Tyler Baltierra Welcome Baby Girl

    Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra are the proud parents of a new baby girl. Catelynn gave birth on New Year’s Day. This is the second daughter for the couple, who gave their first baby, Carly, up for adoption. The highly emotional process of giving her up was documented on MTV’s hit show 16 and Pregnant , back in 2009.

    News broke back in May that Catelynn and Tyler were once again expecting. The two called off a five-year engagement back in July, but Tyler presented Catelynn Lowell with a new engagement ring just a week ago on Christmas Day.

    Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry spilled the beans about the new baby’s birth with her Twitter congratulations.

    Tyler later took to Twitter himself to share the happy news.

    Earlier on January 1st, Baltierra posted an old photo on Instagram of him holding Carly shortly after her birth.

    “IT’S HAPPENING! Here we go, doing this all over again. This is surreal, I’m freakin out a little lol but can’t wait to meet my little angel! Thinking a lot about Carly right now. It’s bringing me back. Even though I know this time I will actually be taking her home. I love my girls! #CantWait #Nervous #Excited #Scared #Happy,” he captioned the shot.

    Congratulations are definitely in order for Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra. Fans are no doubt excited to find out what they’ll call their new daughter. For now, she is simply being referred to as ‘Baby V.’

  • Catelynn Lowell Receives Engagement Ring From ‘Teen Mom’ Fiancé Tyler Baltierra

    Catelynn Lowell, who is just about ready to give birth, received a very special gift for Christmas from fiancé Tyler Baltierra — a beautiful engagement ring.

    According to E! Online, the Teen Mom star Baltierra reaffirmed his love for his girl by giving her a new diamond ring.

    “Babe got me a new engagement ring…. I wasn’t expecting this at all,” Lowell shared on Instagram. “It even has a baby diamond on the bottom to represent our new little girl…. thank you so much @tylerbaltierramtv I love you!”

    The MTV reality stars have had a rough road in the past. They put their first child, Carly, up for adoption in 2009 when they were both just 16 and unready to become parents. However, things are very different today. They are beyond happy together and are expecting a baby girl early next year. Lowell affirmed that the two are now ready and eager to become parents.

    As for Baltierra, he never stops affirming that he is the luckiest man alive.

    “She’s the best thing that has ever happened to me,” Baltierra wrote on Instagram just before Christmas. “She’s everything I want that I never knew I needed. She’s the most selfless, kind hearted woman that I’m lucky enough to call mine.”

  • Catelynn Lowell Of ‘Teen Mom’ Is Pregnant Again

    We first came to know Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra during their emotional episode of MTV’s 16 and Pregnant. The show documented Catelynn’s and Tyler’s journey through their unexpected pregnancy.

    They were only 16-years-old when they found out that Catelynn was expecting a baby in 2009, and they instantly knew that they did not want to raise their child in the home they lived in; not only was Tyler’s father in and out of prison, Catelynn’s mother suffered from drug and alcohol abuse. As hard as it was, they knew that they wanted better for their daughter, and made the difficult decision to put baby Carly up for adoption.

    Now, five years later, Catelynn and Tyler are expecting another baby! While neither Catelynn or Tyler have confirmed the news, over the weekend Catelynn’s mother April Stotts and her brother River Alexander Lowell spilled the beans. April took to her Facebook account and said “Gonna be a grandma again,” and then River followed by posting on his page, “Catelynn is pregnant.”

    Catelynn and Tyler are one of the few teen couples to make their relationship last through the good, bad, and ugly. While they realized that they were not ready to raise a child at 16-years-old, they are now adults and plan on keeping their baby. They have both made it very clear that they wanted more children. In April, Catelynn tweeted, “I am an adult and I can tell when I’m ready and idc what ANYONE says I’m gonna do me! We ARE READY for a baby. #HatersGonnaHate.”

    MTV is currently talking to the cast of the original Teen Mom, including Catelynn and Tyler, about possibly bringing them back for a fifth season. If they do, I guess we will get to see how Catelynn and Tyler handle this pregnancy.

  • Catelynn Lowell of ‘Teen Mom’ Fame Expecting Baby

    Catelynn Lowell, best known for her role on the MTV reality TV drama Teen Mom is expecting a baby with her longtime fiance Tyler Baltierra. Catelynn and Tyler appeared in Teen Mom starting back in 2009 when at 16 she discovered she was pregnant and the two decided they weren’t ready to raise a child. They subsequently gave their daughter Carly up for adoption and that saga was aired on Teen Mom as well.

    Now it seems Catelynn Lowell is pregnant once again, and so far those closest to the now-21-year-old are happy about the as yet unofficial news.

    Catelynn’s mom April Stotz was the first to break the exciting news via–you guessed it–social media. She posted the following announcement–making it more about her than about Catelynn, in true Teen Mom style, on Facebook.

    And while Catelynn hasn’t come right out and said she’s pregnant, she certainly indicated as much in a recent tweet.

    Maybe MTV will start up a new season of Teen Mom featuring Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra? Could anything possibly be any more enthralling than watching a young unmarried couple prepare to have a baby? Hold on to your hats, fans, because a few of the former teens, including Catelynn, are actually in talks with the network to do just that.

    Sadly, many MTV fans are likely jumping for joy right now.
