  • Nicole Kidman: Daughter Bella Cruise Talks About Mom and Dad, Tom Cruise–Says Estrangement Rumors Are False

Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise became the topic at hand in recent days when adopted daughter Bella Cruise chatted with the Australian publication New Idea.

“Of course [we talk], they’re my parents,” Bella said of her relationship with both Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, adding that the rumor about them being estranged is “full of s–t.”

Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman adopted Bella in 1993. Their 10-year marriage ended just eight years later, at which time Bella and brother Connor opted to stay with Tom Cruise.

This past September, Bella Cruise married Max Parker in London, where the two live a fairly quiet life.

It seems there was no discussion during the interview about Bella’s upbringing in the Church of Scientology, nor the strong ties Tom Cruise has to the organization. Nicole Kidman’s defection from the religion wasn’t discussed either.

At the time Bella married, it was rumored that Nicole Kidman wasn’t invited.

Max Parker was asked if he and Bella Cruise live outside of the glamourous life both Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman still live.

“Yeah, you could say that. It’s more [of a] weird [situation] for everyone else,” he said.

Are you surprised to learn–straight from Bella Cruise’s mouth–that she and mom Nicole Kidman aren’t estranged?

Rumors long had the two at odds. Bella even supposedly called her mother an SP–or suppressed person. This is something defectors from the religion are typically called.

Hopefully there truly is peace between Bella Cruise and Nicole Kidman–as well as with her dad Tom Cruise. Bella is only 23, and even though she is now married, she needs her family in her life.

  • Isabella Cruise Hides Wedding Ring in First Public Appearance Since Marrying Max Parker

Isabella Cruise Hides Wedding Ring in First Public Appearance Since Marrying Max Parker

Isabella Cruise made her first public appearance this week since marrying Max Parker in September. The daughter of Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise attended the “Tyler Shields: Decadence” exhibition at the Maddox Gallery in London on Wednesday.

Sporting a new ‘do, Isabella Cruise showed off her short platinum hairstyle. Dressed in black, she was stylish, but understated.

Something Isabella Cruise didn’t show off was her wedding ring. Keeping her hands in her pockets whenever photographers were near, she supposedly didn’t want to draw attention away from the exhibit and in her direction. She apparently feared the sight of her wedding ring might do exactly that.

Isabella Cruise’s famous father, Tom Cruise, is responsible for planning her secret wedding to Max Parker, but reportedly didn’t attend the nuptials. Nicole Kidman didn’t even learn of the wedding until after it had already taken place.

Isabella Cruise–along with brother Connor Cruise–don’t have much of a relationship with their mother. This is likely because of their ties to the Church of Scientology. Nicole Kidman is considered an SP–or Suppressive Person–in the eyes of Scientologists, because she left the church when she and Tom Cruise divorced.

Do you think it was a bit presumptuous of Isabella Cruise to keep her hands in her pockets at the “Tyler Shields: Decadence” exhibit? Are people really that interested in seeing her rings and discussing her secret wedding?

  • Nicole Kidman: Daughter Isabella Makes First Public Appearance Since Secret Wedding

Nicole Kidman: Daughter Isabella Makes First Public Appearance Since Secret Wedding

Nicole Kidman is likely still hurting over not being invited to daughter Isabella’s wedding. Isabella Cruise, the daughter of Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise, married Max Parker in September. Rumors say Tom Cruise planned and paid for the wedding, with Kidman omitted from the guest list.

For the first time since her wedding, Isabella Cruise appeared in public. She attended the “Tyler Shields: Decadence” exhibition at the Maddox Gallery in London on Wednesday. Sporting a new platinum blonde hairstyle, she dressed in all black for the event.

Posing for pictures, Isabella Cruise seemed determined to hide her wedding ring, keeping her hands conspicuously hidden in her pockets–supposedly so she wouldn’t draw attention away from the exhibit and toward herself.

Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman adopted Isabella in 1992. Brother Connor Cruise is adopted as well. Neither of the siblings has much–if anything–to do with Nicole Kidman since her divorce from Tom Cruise. They have likely been prohibited by the Church of Scientology–of which their dad is a prominent member–from having a relationship with their mom since she left the church when the two split up.

Despite her hidden heartache over not seeing her eldest daughter get married, Sources say Nicole Kidman is “thrilled her eldest daughter has found love.”

Fortunately for Nicole Kidman, she found love again following her divorce from Tom Cruise. She and husband Keith Urban are very much in love, and the parents of two little girls.

  • Katie Holmes Opens Up About Life After Tom Cruise, But Won’t Discuss Former Married Life

Katie Holmes did something she doesn’t often do during a recent interview with More magazine. She talked about ex-husband Tom Cruise–or at least her life since divorcing him.

“You’ve got to keep going. In every part of your life,” she said of her life after Tom Cruise, with whom she had a daughter, Suri, before they split in 2012. “Focus on the positive. Stay creative. Go to things that interest you. Do work that’s fulfilling. Challenge yourself. What’s amazing about the human spirit, there are so many people doing inspiring things. If you focus on that, it makes your life richer.”

When asked about her dating life, Katie Holmes came to an abrupt halt, however.

“That’s not something I want to answer…I don’t have a five or 10-year plan. I feel like I’m still a teenager in a lot of ways. I do a lot of things I did then. I paint, I color. I cook sometimes. I still feel like a girl. I don’t quite feel like a woman, maybe because I’m the baby of my family. I’ll probably be 90 and feel like, ‘Not a woman yet!’ Ha!” she said.

Something else off-topic for Katie Holmes was the years she spent as Tom Cruise’s wife.

“Holmes doesn’t discuss that part of her life,” More writer Joanna Schneller said.

The former Dawson’s Creek star is interested in exploring new options in her career, however.

“I feel more creative,” she said. “I feel ready. When I was a young actor, things happened quickly. My second job was ‘Dawson’s Creek,’ and suddenly I was known. I was 18 years old; I had no life experience. I felt, ‘I don’t have anything to bring. I don’t know what it’s like to be, say, really angry. I’m doing the best I can.’ But with age I’ve gained confidence. I understand the kind of stories I want to tell. I have more experience in business. I feel more certain.”

Is it a bit curious that Katie Holmes remains so mum about her life with Tom Cruise? Might she still fear the repercussions of his connections to the Church of Scientology?

It sounds like her life has improved significantly since divorcing Tom Cruise–and hopefully continues to improve. She is focused on Suri’s upbringing, which is her most important role for now.

  • Brooke Shields Holds No Malice Toward Tom Cruise, Sort-Of Slams Ex-Husband Andre Agassi

Brooke Shields opened up recently about her past issue with Tom Cruise, regarding their public feud over her endorsement of prescription drugs for the treatment of postpartum depression.

It was during a chat with Jenny McCarthy on her SiriusXM radio show that she admitted to holding no malice toward the actor heavily rooted in the Church of Scientology. In fact, she and husband Chris Henchy attended Cruise’s wedding to Katie Holmes. Brooke Shields got lots of flack for doing so, however.

“Life is too short,” she told McCarthy of the old feud. “I’m sure there are people that have strong, negative opinions about me, but I don’t have the time.”

She also spoke of Tom Cruise’s apology to her.

“He came over to my house. It was funny because when he called me, he said, ‘I’d like to have a sit-down and a talk with you.’ I called my publicist, and I said, ‘OK, what do I do?’ She said, ‘Whatever you do, don’t go over there. Just make them come to you, and it’s on your terms. You don’t have cameras, you don’t know,’ ”Brooke Shields recalled, referring to the rumors about Tom Cruise’s controversial Scientology ties. “So he came over to the house and didn’t come with anybody, drove himself, there wasn’t anybody outside.”

Later, Katie Holmes personally invited Brooke Shields to their wedding.

These days Brooke is far more upset with ex-husband Andre Agassi’s publisher than she is with Tom Cruise. On Thursday, she appeared on Watch What Happens Live!, when the subject of Agassi’s new book, Open: An Autobiography came up. A caller asked Shields what she thought of the book, and she was very honest.

“Oh, I only read the parts I was in,” she said. “I was asked to read it by him so that I could correct things that I believed were not correct, because he told me his memory was not that good. So he called me in and I spent five hours with his ghostwriter.”

Brooke Shields, who graduated with a degree from Princeton, added, “I write my own books, FYI. Anyway!”

She then went on to explain how she made the needed corrections to Andre Agassi’s book, only to find when it was published that none of her tweaks were recognized.

“I corrected things that were not as I remembered them chronologically. I have diaries of everything,” she explained. “Then I got a letter back that said, ‘I’m so sorry I couldn’t change anything because it wasn’t how I remembered it.’ It’s the oldest trick in the book and I just didn’t get it.”

On the upside, however, Agassi didn’t depict Brooke Shields negatively.

“With all due respect, I did not come across as badly as people might have thought that he wanted,” she said. “That’s not who he is. He’s not an evil person.”

Brooke Shields certainly seems to have a very forgiving heart. Not only did she forgive Tom Cruise’s tactless public comment about postpartum medication, she also speaks very kindly of her ex-husband.

Would you have had such grace under both of these situations?

  • Nicole Kidman Harbors No Regrets Over Marriage to Tom Cruise

Nicole Kidman Harbors No Regrets Over Marriage to Tom Cruise

Nicole Kidman recently dished to The Evening Standard of the importance of living a regret-free life. When asked about how her marriage to husband Keith Urban differs from that of ex-husband Tom Cruise, she even admitted to harboring no regrets of that first marriage.

“Any time you have a chance at something again is good, but each combination of people is different,” Kidman said. “I was a baby when I married Tom, but I don’t regret any of it. But out of respect for Keith I tend not to discuss any of that now.”

Nicole Kidman was just 23 when she married Tom Cruise. The two met on the set of 1990’s Days of Thunder. Kidman and Cruise adopted two children–Isabella is 22 and Connor is 20–and divorced in 2001.

Since Tom Cruise is a member of the Church of Scientology, and Nicole Kidman wasn’t, she lost contact with her children for quite some time. During Leah Remini’s recent defection from Scientology, Kidman served as her “guardian angel.”

It was five years later that the Photograph 51 star wed Keith Urban. They have two daughters. Sunday Rose is seven and Faith Margaret is four.

It wasn’t long ago that Nicole Kidman admitted the years following her divorce from Tom Cruise were among her loneliest.

“To be completely honest, I was running away from my life at that time,” she said. “As an actor, the wonderful thing is you can become something else for a time. Out of that came work that was applauded so that was an interesting thing for me.”

Very happy in her marriage to Keith Urban, Nicole Kidman thanked him when she received the Natasha Richardson Award for Best Actress for her role in Photograph 51.

“I will love you until the end of my life,” she told him.

Even though Nicole Kidman says she has no regrets regarding her marriage to Tom Cruise, most of her fans would likely say she seems much happier since marrying Keith Urban.

It’s actually wonderful to see the new life the two of them have made together–along with their daughters.

  • Sofia Boutella of ‘The Kingsman’ To Play the Monster in ‘The Mummy’ Reboot

Sofia Boutella, who starred in Kingsman: The Secret Service, is currently in talks to play the mummy in Universal’s reboot of The Mummy, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Tom Cruise is in negotiations to star as the hero in the film written by Jon Spaihts that will be set in modern day. Alex Kurtzman is slated to direct the film scheduled to be released on March 24, 2017.

Although the plot details are being kept under wraps, the monster will indeed be female.

Universal plans to use The Mummy as a platform to launch a series of interconnected monster movies. The Hollywood Reporter reports that the studio hopes to build a cinematic universe out of its vault of classic creature features, which include characters like Dracula, Frankenstein, the Invisible Man, the Bride of Frankenstein and vampire hunter Van Helsing.

A Universal spokesperson said the studio is not commenting on any casting speculation surrounding Mummy, although The Wrap has confirmed that Boutella will indeed play the mummy.

Sofia Boutella, who is a classically trained dancer, is best know as the blade-legged assassin in Kingsman, which also stars Samuel L. Jackson, Colin Firth and Taron Egerton. She will next star in Paramount’s Star Trek Beyond, directed by Justin Lin, and will be seen in The Coldest City, a spy thriller starring Charlize Theron and James McAvoy.

  • Katie Holmes Lives Life of No Regrets

Katie Holmes was a member of the Church of Scientology when she was married to Tom Cruise. And then there was that marriage to the guy who jumped on Oprah Winfrey’s couch and made an absolute ass out of himself.

These days, however, Katie Holmes says she has no regrets, and that she’s learned something out of just about every situation she’s ever experienced.

During a recent interview for Miami’s Ocean Drive, Holmes talks about her life, including her divorce from Tom Cruise and being the mom of nine-year-old Suri Cruise.

“I don’t regret anything that I’ve done,” the 36-year-old actress says. “I’ve learned from everything, and everything sort of leads you to the next place. I just keep going.”

“I have a very normal life, and I happen to work in an industry that is abnormal. Daily life, I take a train and cab; it’s just about getting from here to there, and I don’t care how I do it. I have to get there,” she adds.

“I don’t shy away from risks,” Katie Holmes says. “I’m just interested in a lot of different things. I don’t even think of it as a risk; I think of it as something exciting and new.”

Not shying away from risks has led Katie Holmes on a path that is about to bridge the gap between actor and director. She is set to both star in and direct an adaptation of author Annie Weatherwax’s novel, All We Had.

“As I’ve grown up, I think that the harder you work the more successful you are,” she says. “From what I have seen, the people at the top, they’re just constantly working and constantly surrounding themselves with other successful, like-minded creative people.”

Hard work is a trait Katie Holmes hopes to instill in daughter Suri.

“[Motherhood] changes you completely in such amazing ways, and I think that you become who you were meant to be,” she adds. “Being a parent also is a source of inspiration to just work really hard. You want to set an example–and, you know, [your kids] are what drives you.”

Katie Holmes has singlehandedly raised Suri for the past two-plus years. It has been that long since Tom Cruise has seen his daughter.

Cruise will one day regret that move, as Katie Holmes continues on in a life with no regrets.

  • Suri Cruise: Tom Cruise Hasn’t Seen Daughter in Over Two Years

Suri Cruise is the nine-year-old daughter of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise. Katie Holmes has been raising Suri singlehandedly, however, since Tom Cruise reportedly hasn’t seen his daughter in over two years.

PerezHilton.com reports that more than 800 days have gone by since the Mission Impossible star has seen his little girl. They also report that reason behind Tom’s absence in Suri Cruise’s life is his affiliation with the Church of Scientology.

Scientology leaders have allegedly told Tom Cruise to keep his distance from Suri Cruise and Katie Holmes because Katie opposes the religion.

What kind of father allows his so-called religion to prevent him from seeing his daughter? If this is true, it’s an atrocity.

Pictures of Suri Cruise hit the media from time to time. She is almost always in the company of mom Katie Holmes, and doing things normal little girls like to do.

Perhaps it has been better for Suri Cruise not to spend time with her father. When he was seeing her more regularly, he was lavishing expensive gifts and experiences upon her, and turning her into a bit of a brat. Suri had a reputation for being a very rude child–even yelling at members of the press.

Katie Holmes is clearly doing a good job of parenting Suri Cruise. Perhaps it’s best to simply leave well enough alone.

Do you think Suri Cruise is better off not seeing her father or are visits with him something she needs?

  • ‘Top Gun 2’: Val Kilmer Reveals He, Tom Cruise Said ‘Yes’ to the Jets

Val Kilmer dropped the bomb when he posted that he and Tom Cruise have said “yes” to the making of Top Gun 2s.

If Kilmer’s Facebook post is truth, Maverick (Tom Cruise) and Iceman (Kilmer) will be back in the skies sometime soon.

“I just got offered ‪#‎topgun2‬ – not often you get to say “yes” without reading the script…,” Kilmer wrote on Nov. 16 on his official Facebook page.

The actor was quick to point out that being offered a role isn’t the same as actually doing it. There’s are doubts that the much-anticipated Top Gun sequel is even happening, but that doesn’t keep fans of the 80s classic film from getting excited.

“This is a long way off so calm down. This has been talked about for a long, long time and being offered a role is very different from doing a role. I jumped the gun with my post. I jumped the topgun… An innocent mistake. It was just such a wonderful phone call with my agent…,” he said, as reported by TV Guide.

I just got offered #topgun2 – not often you get to say "yes" without reading the script…"It's starring Gene…

Posted by Val Kilmer on Monday, November 16, 2015

Fans posting comments noted Kilmer’s health — rumors swirled that the actor is suffering from a brain tumor, which Kilmer denied.

“I have had treatment and I’m perfectly well,” Kilmer wrote Tuesday. “Don’t believe articles that say ‘a source says.’ If they can’t claim a relationship to me how can u trust they are telling the truth. Even when they do assign a name to whoever they gave 50 bucks to, how does a nurse or a parking attendant gonna know about my personal health,” he replies.

Only time will tell if the Top Gun 2 jets carrying Val Kilmer and Tom Cruise will take flight. Stay tuned!

  • Nicole Kidman Served as Leah Remini’s “Guardian Angel” Following Scientology Defection

Nicole Kidman served a huge role in Leah Remini’s defection for the Church of Scientology, and strangely enough, the two have never met.

In her new book, Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology, Leah Remini refers to Nicole Kidman as her “guardian angel.”

“During this confusing early period, I sometimes felt adrift,” Leah Remini writes in her book. “But I had one figure I kept front and center in my mind to keep from going crazy: Nicole Kidman. That’s right, Tom Cruise’s ex was my guardian angel. Although I never met her or attempted to meet her, I thought about her a lot.”

#Troublemaker is officially on sale today. Thank you again for all of the support! http://bit.ly/1VnIbdi

A photo posted by Leah Remini (@leahremini) on

“While I stared at the dark ceiling at night, unable to sleep, I would say to myself, ‘Remember Nicole Kidman,’” Remini wrote in her book. “‘She was declared an SP and left the church, and she’s doing okay. Her career is still going, and she has a husband and family…Just remember Nicole Kidman. She left and she’s okay…’”

Nicole Kidman was, of course, married to Scientology’s most famous celebrity, Tom Cruise. Since her defection from the “church,” she has had little to no communication with the two children she adopted with Cruise.

Nicole Kidman went on to find love again and to start a new family, too. She married country singer Keith Urban and the couple has two daughters together.

In Leah Remini’s book, she writes that Nicole Kidman was called an SP–or Suppressed Person–by daughter Isabella Cruise shortly after leaving the Church of Scientology. Leah Remini was adamant her own daughter would experience no such thing.

Leah Remini also reminded Nicole Kidman’s children that Kidman was still their mom, despite their feelings about Scientology.

Surely Nicole Kidman knows by now that she served as Leah Remini’s guardian angel.

Do you suppose the two will one day meet in person to discuss their painful pasts?

  • Suri Cruise Left ‘to Cry on Bathroom Floor’ by Parents Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, So Says Leah Remini in Blistering Tell-All

Suri Cruise was left “to cry on the bathroom floor by her parents, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. At least, that’s what Leah Remini claims in her new tell-all book.

According to the New York Daily News, Leah Remini, who takes on Scientology in her book Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood And Scientology, alleges that Cruise and his ex-wife left daughter Suri, who was just 7-months-old at the time, crying on the bathroom floor during a dinner that was held just prior their wedding.

According to Remini, she and several other women responded to the infants cries during the dinner. But, instead of assisting the baby, the three women just watched the baby cry.

Remini claims that she finally convinced the women to pick up the upset child from the floor, and they eventually gave her a warm bottle of milk to drink.

Remini further claims that the older children of Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, Bella and Connor Cruise, never saw their mother because she was shunned by the Church of Scientology.

Remini writes that after asking if she’d seen their mother recently, Bella reportedly told her, “Not if I have a choice. Our mom is a f****** SP.” SP is a term used by Scientologists to describe an enemy of the church, and it is an acronym for Suppressive Person.

The Church Of Scientology quickly responded to Leah’s recent interview with ABC, insisting, via the Daily Mail, that the King Of Queens actress is lying.

“Leah Remini knows the truth she conveniently rewrites in her revisionist history.”

“The real story is that she desperately tried to remain a Scientologist in 2013, knowing full well she was on the verge of being expelled for refusing to abide by the high level of ethics and decency Scientologists are expected to maintain.”

“Her repeated ethical lapses and callous treatment of others led to an ecclesiastical review which resulted in her being expelled.”

“She now regurgitates the tired myths the Church has repeatedly debunked, circulated by the same tiny clique of expelled former staffers bitter at having lost the positions they enjoyed before their malfeasance and unethical conduct were uncovered.”

“Ms. Remini is now joined at the hip with this collection of deadbeats, admitted liars, self-admitted perjurers, wife beaters and worse.”

Leah Remini knew this response was coming from the church.

“I know what my former Church — how they deal with people who tell their story,” Remini said. “And so I wanted to be the one to say it.”

Neither Tom Cruise nor Katie Holmes have responded to the claims that Suri Cruise was left in a bathroom to cry when she was just a baby.

  • Katie Holmes Issues Statement via Rep for Leah Remini’s “20/20” Interview on Scientology

Katie Holmes has remained tight-lipped about the Church of Scientology since divorcing Tom Cruise. Leah Remini has become one of the bigger thorns the so-called religion has ever had inserted into its side.

On Friday night, Remini was interviewed during an episode of 20/20, and Katie Holmes issued a statement via her rep for airing during the show.

Per Remini, she was once recruited by higher-ups within Scientology to teach Tom Cruise salsa lessons. While there, she witnessed him forcibly kissing Katie Holmes. When the behavior continued, she told the pair to “get a friggin’ room.”

Leah Remini maintains at that time to diss Tom Cruise was akin to dissing the “religion” itself.

“Being critical of Tom Cruise is being critical of Scientology itself,” she explained on Friday’s broadcast.

Some time later, Remini was invited to attend the wedding of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, but she was instructed to bring along friends Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony–presumably in an effort to recruit them into Scientology.

Leah Remini was later “written up” by church officials and accused of ruining Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’s wedding because she a.) wanted to sit with Anthony and Lopez and b.) she kept asking about Shelly Miscavige’s whereabouts. Shelly Miscavige is the wife of David Miscavige–the Church of Scientology’s leader–who hasn’t been seen in public since 2007, and who was once a very close friend of Remini’s. Leah Remini later went to the police and filed a missing persons report on Shelly Miscavige. Although it still appears like a huge coverup, L.A.P.D. officials “determined” Shelly Miscavige isn’t missing, although no one outside of Scientology has seen her in years.

Remini also claims she saw blatant disregard for Suri Cruise on behalf of her parents during their wedding reception. The baby was allowed to cry and Cruise and Holmes barely acknowledged her presence.

Did Katie Holmes finally break her silence about Scientology for Leah Remini’s 20/20 interview on Friday?

    Technically, yes.

“I regret having upset Leah in the past, and wish her only the best in the future,” Katie Holmes said in her statement.

This serves only to convince those outside Scientology that Katie Holmes is still terrified to speak out against the organization.

Does Katie Holmes still fear Tom Cruise will try to enmesh their daughter Suri Cruise into Scientology? Cruise’s two children with ex-wife Nicole Kidman are involved in the organization and have little to no contact with their mother, who also left following their divorce.

What does the Church of Scientology say about Leah Remini’s claims?

“The Church declines to comment on Ms. Remini’s childish gossip. We keep communications between parishioners and the Church private. We will state that Ms. Remini continues to exaggerate and embellish events while spinning numerous tales that are provably false,” church officials said in a statement.

Did you see Leah Remini’s 20/20 interview on Friday? Her book, Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology, hits book stores this week.

  • Nicole Kidman Reveals The Loneliest Point In Her Life, Should’ve Been Her Biggest Moment

Being the first Australian to win an Oscar for Best Actress could’ve been the biggest moment of Nicole Kidman’s life, but the actress recently revealed that it was the loneliest moment of her life instead.

Shortly before receiving the award in 2003, Kidman and former husband Tom Cruise had ended their 10-year marriage.

“I was sitting in the Beverly Hills Hotel with a gold statue and I was the loneliest I’d ever been,” Kidman said during the Women In the World Summit at the Cadogan Hall in London on Friday.

“To be completely honest, I was running away from my life at that time. I wasn’t able to handle the reality of my life.” Kidman also said. Kidman said that she turned to acting after the divorce to escape the truth.

“As an actor, you have this wonderful thing where you can go and get lost in somebody else’s life.”

Kidman eventually realized that she couldn’t hide behind the roles forever and finally accepted that it was not a permanent solution to her problem.

She said she decided that she had to slow down, focus on her happiness, and recover her old self.

“I did a lot of reading and a lot of talking, I managed through about five or six years, and then I stumbled into Keith,” Kidman said gushing about her nine-year marriage with country singer Keith Urban.

“We got married very quickly and we got to know each other when we were married,” Kidman recalled “I wanted a partner and someone to share my life with. I wanted more children.”

Kidman and Cruise have kids together, Isabella and Connor, while Kidman has daughters Sunday and Faith with Urban.

After what Kidman went through, she said that being a mother changed her.

“Once you have that child you think: Ah, I’m willing to die for this person and that changes everything,” Kidman said.

  • Isabella Cruise Marries in Small Scientology Ceremony Sans Mom Nicole Kidman

Isabella Cruise, daughter of Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise, married Max Parker–her boyfriend of less than a year–in a small private ceremony in London last month. Nicole Kidman neither knew about the wedding nor received an invitation.

It seems that’s how Isabella Cruise wanted it. Tom Cruise reportedly foot the bill for the wedding and the party that followed.

“The wedding was a Scientology ceremony,” a source close to the family said. “Nicole wasn’t there–she didn’t even know about it at all.”

Max Parker is a British I.T. consultant. He dressed casually for his nuptials–wearing a white shirt and maroon tie. Isabella Cruise went with a simple look as well, donning a white, long sleeved lace mini-dress with black tights. Her attendants wore pale pink, tight-fitting jumpsuits.

Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise adopted Isabella, 22, and son Connor, 20, in the 1990s, and the kids were brought up as Scientologists. The couple divorced in 2001 and Kidman left the church.

Kidman has previously said of the kids, “They live with Tom, which was their choice,” and, “I’ve chosen not to speak publicly about Scientology. I have two children who are Scientologists–Connor and Isabella–and I utterly respect their beliefs.”

Woman’s Day is the first magazine to publish pictures of Isabella Cruise’s wedding. The mag reports that Kidman is thrilled for her daughter. Kidman is married to Keith Urban, and the two have two young daughters.

Tom Cruise raised both Connor and Isabella Cruise in the Church of Scientology following his split from Nicole Kidman. Despite her comments to the contrary, most reports say the relationship between Isabella Cruise and Nicole Kidman has long been strained.

Despite her relationship with her mom, however, Isabella Cruise is now a married woman. It’s uncertain whether she and her new husband will reside in the U.S. or the U.K.

What’s your take on the conflicting reports on Nicole Kidman’s feelings about Isabella Cruise’s wedding?

  • Nicole Kidman: The Real Reason She Did Not Attend Her Daughter’s Wedding

Isabella and Max opted for a low-key and private ceremony, surrounded only by closest friends and family members. However, Nicole, Tom, and Isabella’s brother, Connor were absent from the most important day of her life.

Rumors claim Isabella and Max sat them down and asked them not to go.

Despite the fact that Cruise had not met Isabella’s partner yet, he actually paid for the whole ceremony but was asked to not attend because his presence might attract the attention of the media. “Tom picked up the bill and paid for everything, but it was decided that neither he nor Nicole should attend as it would have turned the whole event into a circus,” a source said.

As for Nicole, she was reportedly banned from the wedding but the truth was that she was involved in the wedding plans, too.

“Nicole was actually involved in the wedding preparations and she did have a private dinner with Bella and Max. But she didn’t go to the ceremony. Also, the animosity between Tom and Nicole was probably a factor,” the source added.

Connor did not attend as well, to keep the ceremony a secret. The proceedings, which featured a mixture of Scientology and Christian rituals, was said to be low-key but very expensive, according to another source.

Isabella and Connor followed their father’s belief in Scientology and chose to live with him instead of Nicole, but Nicole clarified in past interviews that their family didn’t have any rifts.

Although the wedding was kept secret, Nicole’s daughter shared some photos of her big day, including one where is wearing a minidress with black tights and her bridesmaids wearing pale pink jumpsuits.

Tom and Nicole were very supportive of their daughter’s marriage, although refused to comment about it.

  • Katie Holmes, Michelle Williams: Daughters Suri Cruise, Matilda Ledger Growing Up Fast

Katie Holmes and Michelle Williams both have nine-year-old daughters, and when the mother-daughter duos showed up in New York this weekend, fans took notice.

Katie Holmes is, of course, the mom of Suri Cruise–her daughter with ex-husband Tom Cruise. Holmes and Cruise shared the stage at the 2015 Global Citizens Festival in Central Park. Katie Holmes served as host of the event.

Katie Holmes encouraged Suri to say hi to the audience. She looked adorable, but shy, in her gray leggings, pink and white dress, and white sweater.

Matilda Ledger is the daughter of Michelle Williams and the late Heath Ledger, who died back in 2008 when Matilda was just a toddler. This mother-daughter duo took in a Broadway play this weekend. The two saw Finding Neverland, starring former Glee star Matthew Morrison. They were spotted posing for a picture with the actor backstage after the show. Matilda was adorable in a tie-dyed t-shirt and cowboy hat.

It’s hard to believe that both Michelle Williams’s and Katie Holmes’s daughters are growing up so fast. It won’t be long before the two are navigating the streets of New York sans their famous moms.

Do you suppose the two might become friends?

  • Suri Cruise: Does She Look More Like Mom, Katie Holmes or Dad, Tom Cruise?

Suri Cruise appeared on stage this weekend at the 2015 Global Citizens Festival in Central Park. Mom Katie Holmes served as host for the event, bringing her nine-year-old daughter up on stage to wave to fans.

This marked the first time Suri Cruise had appeared in public since March 2015, when she joined other famous moms and kids including Angelina Jolie and Zahara and Shiloh Jolie-Pitt at the 2015 Kids’ Choice Awards.

Known for being a bit of a brat in public situations, Suri Cruise used to make faces at the paparazzi and behave in rather unbecoming ways when Katie Holmes or Tom Cruise brought her out in public. Perhaps some time away from the limelight has been good for the little girl?

When Suri Cruise appeared on stage at the Global Citizens Festival on Saturday, one question likely came to many minds. Does Suri look more like her mom, Katie Holmes, or her dad, Tom Cruise.

The photos that have thus far emerged from Suri Cruise’s brief stage appearance likely prove that the answer to this question might result in a toss up. When you look closely at her adorable little face, you’ll no doubt see traces of both her pretty mom and her dashing dad.

What’s your take on Suri Cruise? Are you glad you’ve been spared in recent months from some of her rude, bratty behavior?

And which of her famous parents do you think Suri Cruise most resembles–Katie Holmes or Tom Cruise?

  • Katie Holmes Barely Recognizable As She Stars In and Directs ‘All We Had’

Katie Holmes will make her directorial debut and star in a film based on a book by author Annie Weatherwax. All We Had is about single mom Rita Carmichael and her 13-year-old daughter Ruthie. The adaptation is written by Josh Boone, who directed The Fault in Our Stars.

Early glimpses at filming in New York City will find fans barely recognizing Katie Holmes. Dressed in a short, skin-tight acid washed denim dress, Katie Holmes as Rita is rough around the edges. Daughter Ruthie, for whom Rita barely manages to provide the bare necessities, is anything but naive, and is played by Lovie Findlay.

Producer Jane Rosenthal talked about Katie Holmes both directing the film and playing the leading role when word of its production was first announced back in 2014.

“Katie has such a clear vision for the book’s irreverent, original mother-daughter relationship. Her passion for the material, along with Josh Boone’s ability to tell stories grounded in the comedy and drama of every day, will truly bring these characters to life,” Rosenthal said.

The synopsis of All We Had (the book) reads as follows.

For thirteen-year-old Ruthie Carmichael and her mother, Rita, life has never been stable. Though Rita works more than one job, the pair teeters on the edge of poverty.

In their battered Ford Escort, they head east in search of a better life. When money runs out and their car breaks down, they find themselves stranded in a small town called Fat River where Rita finally lands a steady job waitressing at Tiny’s, the local diner. With enough money to pay their bills, they rent a house and make their own family: tender-hearted Mel, the owner of the diner; the aging owners of the local hardware store whose livelihoods are dwindling; and Peter Pam, the transgender waitress who becomes Ruthie’s closest friend.

Into this unlikely utopia comes a smooth-talking mortgage broker who entices Rita with a subprime loan. Almost as soon as Rita buys a house their fortunes change. Faced once again with the prospect of homelessness, Rita reverts to survival mode, and the price she pays to keep them out of poverty changes their lives forever.

Katie Holmes is busy with both acting and directing All We Had in New York–where she conveniently lives with daughter Suri Cruise–her daughter with ex-husband Tom Cruise. This no doubt makes it much easier for Holmes to take on the dual roles.

No release date has yet been announced for the film. The first photos of Katie Holmes in her latest role have just hit the media, and should fuel some talk about the upcoming film.

  • Tom Cruise Girlfriend Rumor Shot Down With One Photo

Tom Cruise was rumored for weeks to be after “wife number four” in the form of his assistant on the set of Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation. Tabloid outlets fell all over themselves with dueling “inside sources” that had the goods on the supposed future Mrs. Cruise, Emily Thomas.

“Tom has fallen head over heels for Emily, and she feels the same way,” an inside source for the Star said. “There’s even buzz in his inner circle that he might propose! Tom was so impressed with her, he made it clear he wanted her to work with him on all his upcoming projects.”

“She’s very good at winning boys over,” a supposed friend of Emily told the Daily Mail. “When I knew her she had everyone wrapped around her little finger and that must be a combination of her looks and personality. I know that her family have good connections and she used to say that she’d dated Theo Walcott’s brother Ashley and knows the Walcotts well. Who wouldn’t like to get married to a film star? She’s worked on film sets for years but I wouldn’t exactly call her career driven.”

But a picture is worth a thousand words. So Emily Thomas posted one picture, a profile pic on Facebook.

The guy in the picture sure isn’t Tom Cruise. He’s entirely too tall, even sitting down. That is Emily Thomas’ boyfriend Alex Roberts. Her mom even commented on the picture:

“Two beauties! Love you both loads and so proud of you both.”

But the tabs are still at it, reporting that Emily Met Alex on the set of Rogue Nation, while she was working with Tom Cruise.

“It’s still early days between Emily and Alex,” another inside source told The Mirror, “but they’re already pretty close. They’ve been very public with their relationship, so reports concerning Tom will come as a surprise to pals.”

  • Tom Cruise Wants Real Jets for Top Gun Sequel

Tom Cruise is just now launching the latest installment of Mission: Impossible. But he is already talking about a Top Gun sequel.

The idea of the sequel was in the works between original director Tony Scott and producer Jerry Bruckheimer until Scott’s death in 2012. Since then, it sat on a shelf. Now talk of getting Maverick back into a jet has kicked into gear.

“Justin Marks is writing the screenplay right now,” Top Gun sequel producer David Ellison said. “He has a phenomenal take to really update that world for what fighter pilots in the Navy has turned into today. There is an amazing role for Maverick in the movie and there is no Top Gun without Maverick, and it is going to be Maverick playing Maverick. It is I don’t think what people are going to expect, and we are very, very hopeful that we get to make the movie very soon. But like all things, it all comes down to the script.”

“I think this is a movie that should be in 3D and in Imax, and again something that you can shoot practically. As everyone knows with Tom, he is 100% going to want to be in those airplanes, shooting it practically.”

Tom Cruise concurs. He would have to be in a real jet for a Top Gun sequel.

“It would be fun. I would like to get back into those jets,” Cruise said recently. “It would have to be practical. I don’t want any CGI jets. I want to shoot it like how we shot the first one.”

Jerry Bruckheimer and David Ellison have both confirmed that the Top Gun sequel script would be about drones and would have Tom Cruise.

“The concept is, basically, are the pilots obsolete because of drones. Cruise is going to show them that they’re not obsolete. They’re here to stay,” Bruckheimer said of the Top Gun sequel plot.

“When you look at the world of dogfighting, Ellison added, “what’s interesting about it is that it’s not a world that exists to the same degree when the original movie came out. This world has not been explored. It is very much a world we live in today; where it’s drone technology and fifth generation fighters are really what the United States Navy is calling the last man-made fighter that we’re actually going to produce. So really exploring the end of an era of dogfighting and fighter pilots, and what that culture is today, are all fun things that we’re gonna get to dive into in this movie.”

Before his death, Tony Scott spoke of that too, saying, “It’s a whole different world now. These computer geeks – these kids play war games in a trailer in Fallon, Nevada and if we ever went to war or were in the Middle East or the Far East or wherever it is, these guys can actually fly drones. They are unmanned aircraft. They operate them and then they party all night.”
