  • Josh Duggar: Disgraced Former “19 Kids and Counting Star” Home from Rehab, Won’t Appear On TV

Josh Duggar is home from a faith-based rehab, where he received counseling for his sexual sins. That doesn’t mean, however, that the disgraced former 19 Kids and Counting star will appear on TV.

TLC made it quite clear in a statement to TMZ that Josh Duggar won’t appear in his own show or on Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald’s show, Jill & Jessa: Counting On.

Josh Duggar’s wife, Anna Duggar, will appear on Jill and Jessa’s show, as “she and Josh’s children are actively involved with ongoing family story lines.”

The Duggar family is working together with TLC to rebuild their brand following Josh Duggar’s sex scandals. The first–when it was discovered he sexually molested five underage girls when he was a teenager–cost the family their reality show. TLC cancelled 19 Kids and Counting last summer. Josh Duggar was outed shortly thereafter during the Ashley Madison cheater’s website hack. He admitted to cheating on Anna Duggar and to an addiction to pornography. These “sexual sins” were all addressed at the faith-based rehab he has attended since late August.

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar released a statement on their website announcing that Josh Duggar had left rehab.

“Josh has completed his residential rehabilitation program. We are so thankful for everyone who worked with Josh in this program. It was a crucial first step in recovery and healing for Josh. Josh has now returned to Arkansas, where he will continue professional counseling and focus on rebuilding relationships with his family. We look to God for help and guidance and place all of our trust in Him. We are forever grateful for the love and prayers offered by so many and hope you will continue to pray in the days ahead,” the statement reads.

Does it surprise you that Josh Duggar won’t capitalize on his sex scandals by appearing in a new TV show? Kudos to TLC for that.

How long do you expect it will be before there’s big time trouble between him and wife Anna Duggar?

Could you forgive Josh Duggar if you were in Anna’s shoes?

  • Jessa Seewald Counts Down To Baby’s Arrival, Shares Baby Bump Photos

On Thursday, Jessa Duggar Seewald shared an Instagram photo of her baby bump, updating her social media followers that she is 39 weeks and 4 days along. She said she feels “as big as a barn.”

Jessa started the countdown to baby Seewald’s arrival on Monday on her Instagram. She wrote, “7 days till #BabySeewald’s due date!” with an accompanying snapshot of her with husband Ben Seewald.

Ben, 20, and Jessa who turns 23 next week, are expecting their baby on November 1, which coincides with their first wedding anniversary. The Christian couple will welcome their “Baby Quincy” via home birth.

“Ben started calling our little one “Quincy” and the nickname just sorta stuck,” the reality star said on the Duggar Family Blog. As for the baby’s gender, the couple is keeping it secret from their families and followers.

The 19 Kids and Counting member also shared an ultrasound of baby Quincy next to baby pictures of herself and Ben in a photo collage, with a caption saying “I’m thinking BabySeewald will be a sweet mix of the two of us!”

Jessa and Ben celebrated the coming of their baby at a co-ed baby shower this month. The celebration was recorded on film for an upcoming TLC special Jill & Jessa: Counting On, featuring the two pretty sisters.

The reality stars are set to appear on a three-part TLC special, making it their first spinoff since the cancellation of their reality show 19 Kids and Counting. A preview of the show was released with Jessa and Jill Dillard getting emotional while talking about the problems their family is facing and the scandals involving their brother Josh Duggar, who is currently in a faith-based rehabilitation facility.

The TLC special is expected to air by the end of the year.

  • Tori Kelly Performs Kick-Ass TLC, Fugees, Mary J. Blige Mash-Up At MTV EMA Awards

Tori Kelly killed it Sunday at the 2015 MTV EMA Awards show with a kick-ass mashup of songs made famous by TLS, the Fugees and Mary J. Blige.

Needless to say, the singer can do it all, but she really showcased her incredible skills with her mashup of some of the best talent out there.

Wearing a gold pantsuit, blazer and rocking out like no other, Tori Kelly started her performance with a VMA-styled Should’ve Been Us, before breaking out some hardcore R&B with TLC’s No Scrubs, as reported by MTV.

Just when you thought the singer could not get any better, she broke out into Mary J. Blige’s Real Love and then the Fugees’ Ready or Not.

Still waters run deep in the breakout singer. after the success from her debut album, Unbreakable Smile, she made it perfectly clear that she has no plans of losing momentum. Her latest single Hollow, which she describes as “honest,” “vulnerable,” and “epic,” was recently released.

Written with musician, Zac Poor, the song is a testament to her relationship with God, says Tori Kelly.

As reported by Vibe magazine, the chorus chants, “I’m fragile and you know this/ So hold me, wrap me in love/ Fill up my cup/ Empty, and only your love could fill up my cup/ Because I’m hollow.” While all the lyrics seemingly mean a lot to the singer, Kelly admits that her favorite lyrics are “pour out your perfection on me now.”

So, did you all see Tori Kelly’s performance on the MTV EMA Awards show Sunday? She killed it, right?

  • The Duggars Return to TLC: Jill Duggar Dillard, Jessa Duggar Seewald Star in “Jill & Jessa: Counting On”

The Duggars are headed back to TLC. The 19 Kids and Counting family lost their reality show following the recent Josh Duggar sex scandals, but TLC no doubt realized the family is the source of many viewers–which translates into big bucks–so they’re giving them another try. Of course not all the Duggars are returning to TLC. Jill Duggar Dillard and sister Jessa Duggar Seewald will highlight the new show–which hasn’t yet been officially called a spinoff. Jill & Jessa: Counting On will initially be aired as specials, but is rumored to become the 19 Kids and Counting spinoff if all goes well.

In a one-minute promo clip that first aired Monday, Jill and Jessa allude to the heartache Josh Duggar has caused them and their families.

“We were devastated,” Jessa says in the clip. “We couldn’t believe it. You have to wonder: How did this happen?”

“You’re angry and hurt and all of those emotions all mixed together,” Jill adds. “I cried a lot of tears. I still do.”

What the clip doesn’t tell viewers about the Duggars is where they now stand with regard to Josh Duggar. Have they forgiven him for both sexually molesting underage girls when he was a teen–Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald among his victims–and more recently for cheating on his wife, Anna Duggar? Are they more upset about his actions or about the fact that people found out about them? Are they angry about the cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting?

The new show will reportedly feature members of the Duggars as they pick up the pieces of their lives and move on past the whole Josh Duggar scandal. Jessa Duggar is expecting a new baby and Jill and her family are preparing to raise their son Israel while they serve as missionaries in Central America.

It remains to be seen if other members of the 19 Kids and Counting family will appear on the new show. Of course Jill and Jessa’s husbands, Derick Dillard and Ben Seewald will appear. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, however, are revered in the media with nearly the amount of disdain with which Josh Duggar is regarded. Many believe they covered up Josh’s actions and didn’t get the proper kind of help for their son when he was a teenager.

TLC has yet to announce an official date for the return of the Duggars, but they’ve said the show will air in December. By then, Jessa Duggar and her husband will have welcomed their little one into the world. She and Ben Seewald are expecting their baby on November 1st–the date of their first wedding anniversary.

Will you check out Jill & Jessa: Counting On when the Duggars return to TLC in December?

  • 19 Kids and Counting: Duggars Want Show Back, But Likely Not Really Gone

19 Kids and Counting may be off the air as a regular show on TLC, but so is Jon and Kate Plus 8. That doesn’t mean we saw the last of Kate Gosselin, or Jon either, for that matter. That guy was working in a restaurant and going broke and we still hear about his life.

There are TV specials planned for the Duggar clan, but one source says the family is upset about losing its outlet. The source says the Duggars are “heartbroken that they’ve now lost that platform.”

“The Duggars want to return to TV because they truly believe it was part of God’s plan for them to spread the word about their faith,” the source says.

What might it say that the Duggars thought it was part of God’s plan for them, but it went away? Didn’t they also think God wanted them to have 19+ kids? What if they were wrong about that, too?

According to the source, the Duggars seemed to think everyone would get over their name being associated with molestation, homophobia, and intolerance. They put Josh Duggar’s molester past behind them, why can’t everyone else?

“I think Jim Bob and Michelle honestly did expect people to just move on from this,” the source adds. “Their thinking is, they put this behind them ages ago, so why wouldn’t the rest of the world?”

There was talk of doing a spin-off with two of the Duggar sisters, but now comes the word that Jim Bob Duggar is frowning on that. Funny, seems he gave his girls away to other grown men who are now their subjugators. Why does he get to tell them they can’t do a show without their touchy brother?

When the Duggars announced that their show was not being renewed, they alluded to the Josh Duggar scandal that brought their empire down.

With God’s grace and help, Josh, our daughters and our entire family overcame a terrible situation, found healing and a way forward. We are so pleased with the wonderful adults they have all become.

It is our prayer that the painful situation our family went through many years ago can point people toward faith in God and help others who also have lived through similar dark situations to find help, hope and healing, as well.

Some fans just didn’t want to let go. There were petitions started, demanding that TLC bring the Duggars back. One such site looks suspiciously like a spam email collection site.

Everybody should just relax. We’ll never be rid of Kate Gosselin. We’ll probably never be rid of Robocall Michelle Duggar.

  • “19 Kids” Haters Dance In the Streets As Duggar Family Fans Mourn

When TLC made the decision to not continue airing the adventures of the Duggar family on 19 Kids and Counting, Michelle Duggar took to her blog to tell their fans the news.

“Today, TLC announced that they will not be filming new episodes of 19 Kids and Counting,” the matriarch said.

“Over the last several years people have said to us, ‘We love your show!’ We have always responded, ‘It’s not a show, it’s our lives!’ Our desire in opening our home to the world is to share Bible principles that are the answers for life’s problems.”

The scandal that has rocked the Duggar household and generated debate, discussion, and outright flame wars for weeks may finally come to a close.

“With God’s grace and help, Josh, our daughters and our entire family overcame a terrible situation, found healing and a way forward,” Michelle Duggar said of her family.

Reactions from the public have been, as expected, mixed. There are the fans, those who feel cheated out of watching the family they honestly felt did no wrong.

There are those who feel there is some justice in the decision, and those who are just plain gleeful.

  • The Duggars: Why TLC Cancelled ’19 Kids and Counting’

The Duggars have been front and center in the media since word of their son–Josh Duggar’s–sexual molestations of five underage girls while he was a teenager, hit the media. Now the Duggars are thrust into the media yet again with this week’s announcement that TLC has cancelled their reality show. The network announced on Thursday that they have cancelled 19 Kids and Counting.

According to the Crimes Against Children Research Center, one in five girls and one in 20 boys become victims of sexual abuse. Three out of four young people who are sexually assaulted are victimized by an older sibling or someone they know well.

The American Academy of Pediatrics believes that when a child reports sexual abuse to a parent, the parent or parents must take it seriously. They must also contact a local child protection agency or local law enforcement officials.

That said, it’s hard to know which of these infractions weighed more heavily upon TLC when deciding whether or not to ditch the Duggars from their TV lineup. Were they more concerned with the fact that Josh Duggar is a known child molester or with Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s means of handling the situation?

Marjorie Kaplan is the group president of TLC, Animal Planet and the Velocity networks. In a recent interview with the Associated Press, she had the following to say.

“We took it as an opportunity to step further than just ‘How do we protect ourselves?’ and step into ‘How do we protect our audience and protect children?’” Kaplan explained. “Our hope is to do more of that, in a way that’s thoughtful and respectful of the victims of child abuse–in the Duggar family and across America.”

TLC has made plans to feature the Duggars–including Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald, who are both admittedly victims of Josh Duggar’s sexual abuse–in an upcoming special documentary that deals with sexual abuse. RAINN (short for the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) and Darkness to Light are both advocacy groups that will be partnering with TLC for the documentary.

The Duggars have appeared on TLC since 2008.

  • Anna Duggar And Sister-In-Law, Jessa, Show Off Their Baby Bumps

Anna Duggar, wife of scandal-plagued Josh Duggar is expecting their fourth child, but little Duggar is late in getting here. The newest member of the big, big family was supposed to arrive on July 10.

The Duggar family posted on their official Facebook page a photo of the very pregnant Anna, 27, standing back-to-back with her also pregnant sister-in-law, Jessa. The latter is 23 weeks pregnant. Both the Duggar mothers were cradling their growing baby bumps.

The photo was posted last Sunday for every 19 Kids and Counting fan and follower to see.

Well, sweet Anna is now past her due date! First time she has ever gone "late" instead of early! Here she is with our... Posted by Duggar Family Official on Sunday, July 12, 2015
“Well, sweet Anna is now past her due date!” captioned the said photo. “First time she has ever gone ‘late’ instead of early. “Here she is with our Jessa. Be praying for these girls. Pretty soon we will get to kiss the sweet face of another Duggar grandbaby!!!” Josh and Anna were married last 2008. They confirmed their fourth pregnancy in December. Four months later, they announced that the new addition is a baby girl. The family was subject to controversy in May after Josh confirmed he molested a family babysitter and four of his sisters, which included Jessa and Jill, when he was 14 years old. This resulted in TLC Network canceling the show. Josh went on a low-profile during the wake of his molestation scandal. He also quit his job with a conservative Christian lobby group in Washington, D.C and returned to his home in Arkansas. The fans of the show were quick to point out that Josh was missing from the Facebook photo for Amy Duggar’s engagement to longtime beau Dillon King.
A longtime friend of the family tells the Daily Mail “Josh and Cousin Amy are actually the closest in age and grew up together. They are close.” “If the scandal hadn't come to light I have no doubt he would have been happily posing in the group photo.”

  • Duggar Family Makes Statement After TLC’s Cancellation Of ’19 Kids And Counting’

TLC announced that they will be canceling the hit reality series 19 Kids and Counting. The network said the show “will no longer appear on the air.”

The series was centered on the devoutly Baptist Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar who have ten sons, nine daughters and six grandchildren – two of which are still unborn.

The show has been subjected to controversy since May following the shocking revelations that Josh Duggar molested five underage girls. The event shattered the family’s squeaky-clean image and let thousands of fans and followers down.

Josh confessed to groping five girls, four of them are his sisters. One of the five underage victims wass their family babysitter at that time. He was 14 years old when he committed the said molestations.

Josh, now 27, is married to Anna Duggar since 2008. Anna is carrying their fourth child whom they announced is a baby girl.

TLC insisted the show opened up a “critical and important conversation about child protection.”

The network will be partnering with the victims’ rights and advocacies groups on a “multi-platform campaign to raise awareness and educate parents and families about the issue.”

They have confirmed that they would be working with the family one last time to produce a one-hour commercial-free documentary with sisters Jessa, 22, and Jill, 24, who have come forward as victims. They also said that they have already forgiven their brother.

“We look forward to working with TLC on this upcoming special documentary and hope that it is an encouragement to many.”

The controversial family responded with their own statement. They hoped that the “painful situation” they went through would help others find “help, hope, and healing.”

“We are so thankful for our film crew that has shown up at our house for over a decade. They have become like family to us.

“They have invested their time and energy into our lives and have been so loving and patient. We love and appreciate them so much!”

  • ’19 Kids and Counting:’ TLC Officially Cancels Duggar Family Reality Show

19 Kids and Counting has been officially cancelled. TLC made the announcement via a statement on Thursday.

“After thoughtful consideration, TLC and the Duggar family have decided to not move forward with 19 Kids and Counting. The show will no longer appear on the air.

The recent attention around the Duggars has sparked a critical and important conversation about child protection.

Over these past weeks, TLC has consulted regularly with leading victims’ rights and advocacy organizations in the U.S., including RAINN and Darkness to Light, to discuss how to use this moment to address the issue and make a positive impact. Unfortunately, child sexual abuse is not an isolated issue; it affects many children and families around the world.

To that end, we are partnering with both organizations on a multi-platform campaign to raise awareness and educate parents and families about the issue. In the first phase of this initiative, TLC will work closely with both groups and with the Duggar family on a one-hour documentary that will include Jill and Jessa and other survivors and families that have been affected by abuse.

TLC has been especially concerned for the victims in this situation, including the Duggar family, and it is our hope that this effort will help those in need learn where to turn for information and help. The documentary will be commercial free, and we anticipate it will air later this summer.”

After thoughtful consideration, TLC and the Duggar family have decided to not move forward with 19 Kids and Counting….

Posted by TLC on Thursday, July 16, 2015

TLC pulled episodes of 19 Kids and Counting from the air shortly after word of the Josh Duggar sexual molestation scandal hit the media.

This statement also seems to negate rumors that there will be a 19 Kids and Counting spinoff based on Jessa Duggar Seewald and Jill Duggar Dillars. Rumor had it a show called Two Brides and Their Grooms was in the works. Jill Duggar Dillard and her husband Derick are overseas serving as missionaries, which fueled speculation a couple of weeks ago that the spinoff might not take place.

19 Kids and Counting fans are no doubt very disappointed that the show has come to an end.

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar issued a statement about the show’s cancellation.

“Today, TLC announced that they will not be filming new episodes of 19 Kids and Counting.

Years ago, when we were asked to film our first one hour documentary about the logistics of raising 14 children, we felt that it was an opportunity to share with the world that children are a blessing and a gift from God.

We are so thankful for our film crew that has shown up at our house for over a decade. They have become like family to us. They have invested their time and energy into our lives and have been so loving and patient. We love and appreciate them so much!

Over the last several years people have said to us, “We love your show!” We have always responded, “It’s not a show, it’s our lives!” Our desire in opening our home to the world is to share Bible principles that are the answers for life’s problems.

With God’s grace and help Josh, our daughters and our entire family overcame a terrible situation, found healing and a way forward. We are so pleased with the wonderful adults they have all become.

It is our prayer that the painful situation our family went through many years ago can point people toward faith in God and help others who also have lived through similar dark situations to find help, hope and healing, as well.

We appreciate the love, support, prayers and kindness extended to us by many of you. You have deeply touched our hearts and encouraged us, during this time.

God’s faithfulness and goodness to us, along with His abundant grace have given us strength and joy even in the most difficult days.

We have committed to Him that in all things — difficulties or success, good times or bad — we will purpose to bring Him honor by staying true to our faith and our family.

We look forward to working with TLC on this upcoming special documentary and hope that it is an encouragement to many.

We know Who holds the future and are confident that He will work all things together for good.

We love each of you and look forward to unfolding the future with peace and joy.

    With Gratefulness,

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar family”

How do you suppose the Duggar family is really feeling today?

Might they beholding Josh Duggar–or maybe even themselves–responsible for the cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting?

  • Duggar Family: Lots Going On in the ’19 Kids and Counting’ World

The Duggar family has been front and center in the media for a while now. It hasn’t all been bad, however. Even though the Josh Duggar sexual molestation scandal cast a most unfavorable light upon the 19 Kids and Counting clan, there are still some positives to report.

Jill Duggar Dillard and her husband Derick–along with their baby boy Israel–departed a little more than a week ago to serve as missionaries overseas. Derick has served as a missionary before. It was while serving in Nepal that he met Jim Bob Duggar and later met Jill. The couple celebrated their first anniversary in June.

Jessa Duggar Seewald’s pregnancy is proceeding in a normal, healthy manner. She and Ben Seewald’s baby is due in November–on the 1st, which is also the couple’s first wedding anniversary.

Anna Duggar–Josh Duggar’s wife–hasn’t had the couple’s fourth child yet. As of Sunday she was considered overdue. Her first three babies came early, so this is something new for Anna.

While those are indeed positives for the Duggar family, there are still some things that could darken the days to come in the 19 Kids and Counting household.

TLC has yet to announce whether or not they’ll continue producing 19 Kids and Counting, and with Jill Duggar away, it’s uncertain if a spinoff of the Duggar family reality show is a consideration. The speculated spinoff was to have starred both Jill and Derick Dillard along with Jessa Duggar Seewald and her husband Ben.

Another small-scale scandal has touched the Duggar family. Jim Bob Duggar’s brother-in-law allegedly passed along genital herpes during unprotected sex with a woman several years back, and that has since resurfaced. The resurfacing not doubt comes as a result of media outlets trying to dig up dirt on the Duggar family and cause them even more shame. Many people don’t realize that Christians–even conservative Christians like the Duggar family–don’t claim to be perfect people. In fact they readily admit that they are sinners.

Jim Bob Duggar’s brother-in-law–the genital herpes spreader–is Amy Duggar’s father.

And in one last happy note for the Duggar family, Amy announced her engagement this weekend to Dillon King.

Life is certainly abuzz in the 19 Kids and Counting household–for better or for worse.

The Duggar family appear to be survivors, however. They’ll no doubt make their way through all of these events, too–the good as well as the not so good.

  • ’19 Kids And Counting’: Josh Duggar Being Sued By Woman For Sexual Molestation

Have you spent a part of your life gawking at the 19 Kids and Counting family and thinking how wholesome and inspirational they are?

Well, Josh Duggar, one of the kids in the TLC reality show, made headlines for sexually molesting his younger sisters Jill and Jessa when he was 14. Now, he is being sued by woman (not a family member) that he allegedly molested as well.

According to reports, Jill and Jessa Duggar were molested by Josh at least seven times between the years 2002 and 2003. Parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar knew about his actions but said they chose to deal with it privately as a family.

What makes it surprising is that Josh is now 27 and the police didn’t find out about the molestation nor was he charged until recently. However, the statute of limitations has since ran out. This means the Duggar family of 19 Kids and Counting are not allowed to invoke their Fifth Amendment rights anymore. In short, they are now unable to refuse answering questions that are thrown at them.

The Duggar family will have to reveal what they know, when they knew it, what they did about it, and why it took them this long to come forward.

According to Arkansas Code Annotated Section 16-56-1300, civil action is allowed when a sexual abuse victim starts to feel the effects of their trauma years later.

This is apparently the reason Josh’s alleged victim is filing a case against him now. She reportedly became upset when she saw the 19 Kids and Counting family on television trying to defend Josh’s misdeeds.

The victim wanted to hold Josh accountable for what he did. According to In Touch Weekly, she also has the ability to sue Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar for the cover-up.

  • Anna Cardwell Texts Hint That Grandmother Is Behind Mama June Lawsuit

Anna Cardwell, AKA Chikadee from the Here Comes Honey Boo Boo show that used to air on TLC, is battling with Mama June yet again over money.

Things have not gone well for Anna Cardwell since the Honey Boo Boo program was dropped from TLC’s lineup amidst rumors of child molestation and endangerment surrounding the family.

Cardwell has in the past accused her mother of raiding her trust fund. Mama June responded that she was simply paying expenses for Cardwell from that trust fund. Late last year, TMZ ran a story with a photo showing Cardwell holding a check for $15,400 that supposedly was the remaining balance of her trust fun.

Mama June insisted at that time that she had only used Cardwell’s money to pay Cardwell’s bills, including utilities and rent.

Now Anna Cardwell is suing her mother and the TLC network over money she says is still owed to her for appearances on the Honey Boo Boo program.

The suit alleges that Mama June Shannon and her company Honey Boo Boo LLC were in control of money that should have gone into a trust fund for Cardwell. Cardwell seeks to recover $201,800 for herself and $99,500 for her daughter.

Mama June reminds TMZ that she gave Cardwell a $15,400 check last year, which she says was the end of the trust fund. She in turn alleges that her own mother, Sandra Hale, is behind Cardwell’s current lawsuit. She believes that Cardwell did not want to sue her, but her grandmother pushed her into it.

TMZ says there are text messages between Anna Cardwell and another family member that indicate this.

“I did not hire the lawyer,” Cardwell is said to have texted to the other family member. “My grandma did … I know I can’t get her money and that’s what I tried to tell [my grandma’s boyfriend].”

June says she has texts of her own from Anna Cardwell that read:

“I never really talked to [the lawyer] cause my grandma boyfriend talked the whole time and then kicked me out so he could talk to the guy. So Idk what was said behind closed door.”

Anna Cardwell is expecting her second child with her husband Michael.

  • Jill And Jessa Duggar Spinoff Show Might Replace ’19 Kids And Counting’

TLC might be giving up on 19 Kids and Counting, but the network still seems willing to give a Jill Duggar spin-off show a chance.

TLC and the Duggar family are still reeling from the fallout surrounding Josh Duggar’s molestation scandal. Major sponsors like Payless, Choice Hotels International, David’s Bridal, General Mills and Walgreens have all pulled out their ads.

With the network scrambling to appease its advertisers and avoid a major revenue loss, a People article stated that TLC is flirting with the idea of a spinoff show revolving around Jill, her sister Jessa and their husbands.

The move is seen as a logical alternative, especially since the two Duggar girls new lives as married women and new mothers have captured viewers’ interest.

When Jessa’s wedding to Ben Seewald was aired on 19 Kids and Counting, it generated a surprisingly large amount of interest.

The same thing happened when Jill Duggar gave birth to her first child with Derick Dillard. That episode, which was aptly aired before Mother’s Day, garnered a whopping 3.6 million viewers – the highest rating the show has had in years.

As an insider explains it, “the show had begun to focus more and more on the next generation of Duggars anyway – mainly Jill and Jessa and their marriages and babies.”

One thing is certain though, if the spinoff series does push through, Josh Duggar won’t be featured in it.

Whether their parents, Jim Bob and Michelle, will appear is still a big question mark as they too have received their fair share of backlash over how they handled the situation with Josh.

The embattled couple is set to give an interview to Fox News’ Megyn Kelly on June 3.

In a statement, Jim Bob and Michelle said they will “share our hearts with you about the pain that we walked through as a family twelve years ago.”

But will that be enough to stem the tide of public opinion?

  • Duggar Girls Receive Support From Family As Cousin Amy Breaks Social Media Silence

“Duggar Girls” has been a hot topic in the headlines this week after it was reported that eldest Duggar son Josh sexually abused more than one underage girl as a teen, many of whom are believed to be his sisters. Now, after several days of speculation, one Duggar girl has broken her silence online, if only to give fans a glimpse into what sort of place she’s in right now.

Amy Duggar, whose uncle is Jim Bob Duggar, posted a serene photo on Instagram and Twitter with the caption “Peace. Be still.” The words are a Biblical reference, and while she didn’t expand upon it, her boyfriend Dillon King did use the web to offer support to the family and to share his gratitude that Amy wasn’t involved in the abuse.

“I’m so thankful for this beautiful girl in my life, praying for the Duggar family in this hard time…Thank you Jesus Amy wasn’t involved in the situation. Love you baby girl! Praying for your family and the love ones involved,” he wrote.

It’s not clear what remains in store for the family, but Josh has reportedly resigned from his position with the Family Research Council and he and his wife Anna, who are expecting their fourth child, have also taken down their website. TLC has not confirmed whether they will cancel 19 Kids And Counting, but it has been suspended as at least one sponsor has broken ties with the show.

The problem for the network is that Jill and Jessa Duggar have a huge fan base, bringing in millions of viewers this year and last with their weddings and Jill’s first pregnancy. However, the network faces a lawsuit from June Shannon–mother of “Honey Boo Boo”–if they keep the show on the air, because they canceled her show after a molestation scandal broke.

  • Josh Duggar: TLC Thinking of Dropping the ’19 Kids and Counting’ Star Following News of Sexual Molestations

Josh Duggar may be removed from 19 Kids and Counting, as TLC works to pick up the pieces following news of Josh’s sexual molestations–some targeting his own sisters–hit the media last week. Can 19 Kids and Counting survive sans Josh Duggar?

Of course it can. TLC already knows that two of Josh Duggar’s sisters–Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald–are presently the biggest draws to the show. Jill’s wedding to Derick Dillard and the birth of their baby, Israel David Dillard and Jessa’s wedding to Ben Seewald and her pregnancy are drawing in fans more than any other story lines in the show’s history. Jill Duggar and Jessa Duggar–along with sisters Jana and Jinger Duggar–may have been among Josh Duggar’s victims.

There is still a very strong chance that TLC will completely cancel 19 Kids and Counting. Advertisers may not want to be associated with a program about a family that covered up sexual molestations. Josh Duggar didn’t get clinical counseling or treatment deemed acceptable by most modern standards. Instead many prayers were said and he did manual labor to atone for his sins. General Mills has already pulled its advertising in light of Josh Duggar’s actions.

E! News reports that Josh Duggar has cancelled speaking engagement for this week in Sandusky, Ohio at a Christian homeschooling conference. He and wife Anna Duggar have closed down their website. And Josh Duggar has resigned from his position with the Family Research Council in Washington, D.C. where he lives with his wife and three children. Anna Duggar is expecting the couple’s fourth child.

Do you expect TLC will opt to simply air 19 Kids and Counting without Josh Duggar or will they wind up canceling the show for good?

How will the remainder of the Duggar family fare if their lucrative reality show ends?

  • Josh Duggar Admits To Molesting Underage Girls, TLC Stalls On Fate Of ’19 Kids And Counting’

Lurid accusations, parents covering up the crime, police inaction. You’d think this was the plot from another sordid soap opera but no, these apparently happened on TLC’s 19 Kids and Counting.

The reality show, which follows the Christian family as they cope with raising 19 children, has long been hounded with rumors that the eldest Duggar son had molested several young girls, including some of his sisters.

It was a dark family secret that recently came to light when Josh admitted to the crime.

“Twelve years ago, as a young teenager, I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret. I hurt others, including my family and close friends,” the 27-year-old Josh said.

The Duggar parents, Jim Bob and Michelle, also released their own statement admitting that their son “made some very bad mistakes” and that they “were shocked” by it.

“We had tried to teach him right from wrong. That dark and difficult time caused us to seek God like never before,” they added.

But while the parents sought God, they didn’t seek professional help for their son or for their victimized daughters.

Instead, reports show that they just sent Josh to a “Christian” program where he would allegedly receive counseling and do hard physical work.

However, this apparently wasn’t true as matriarch Michelle admitted to police that her son never saw a counselor but was just sent “to a family friend who was in the home remodeling business.”

Jim Bob and Michelle’s appalling lack of concern or empathy for their daughters Jana, Jill, Jessa, Jinger and Joy-Anna was quickly picked up on by viewers and fans who have expressed their support and concern for some of Josh’s alleged victims.

The real question here is what’s to be done with Josh, his parents and the show?

TLC has already pulled the show from its roster but hasn’t formally canceled it. It’s also been speculated that Josh will just be fired from the show.

But why is the network even considering other options for a show where the parents have covered up for their son’s sexual misdeeds?

  • Montel Williams Fight Over Josh Duggar Drags Lena Dunham, Conservatives In

Montel Williams is speaking out about the 19 Kids and Counting scandal.

Josh Duggar is catching hell from all sides lately over his admission that he molested five young girls when he himself was 14 years old. When the news came out, he released a statement that expressed how he felt, but said nothing of his victims, some of whom were his own sisters.

“Twelve years ago, as a young teenager, I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret. I hurt others, including my family and close friends. I confessed this to my parents who took several steps to help me address the situation. We spoke with the authorities where I confessed my wrongdoing, and my parents arranged for me and those affected by my actions to receive counseling. ”

One of the people who called Josh Duggar to task over his actions was Montel Williams.

“Gosh, yet another anti-gay alleged “Christian” defender turns out to be a garden variety scumbag.”

Montel Williams followed that with a screed against the FRC, the Family Research Council, an organization that is seen by many as anti-LGBT. Josh Duggar worked for the FRC in Washington until he resigned over this scandal

“Sorry, Josh Duggar is a bigot, slimebag. Whole family is, and FRC is a scam. Yup, Gay people are the danger to kids? NOPE, JOSH DUGGAR IS”

Montel Williams expanded his expressions of disgust to include those persons who came to Josh Duggar’s defense:

“Some conservatives mistakenly think they can deflect for #JoshDuggar by revisiting #LenaDunham -IDIOTS-This is why we can’t have nice things.”

That argument started when someone accused Montel Williams of demonizing Josh Duggar but not demonizing Lena Dunham, who had confessed to inappropriate conduct with her sister.

@OhPishPoshMom: “Weird! Didn’t see @Montel_Williams this animated when Lena Dunham said she did this to her sister. Oh wait, she’s LGBT & not a conservative!”

Montel Williams responded with: “#StopWithTheStupid – was Lena preaching hate toward a class of people? What she did is wrong – not a hypocrite tho”

One person, going by the handle Media Domme, responded to Montel Williams words with an accusation against him:

“@Montel_Williams I am. I’m calling you out for the #Hypocrite you are. You protect serial rapist #BillCosby with your silence #AntiChrist!”

Montel Williams responded: “I do no such thing. I have said is they are very serious allegations and they must be thoroughly investigated.”

For their part, Josh Duggar’s parents and wife stand by him, viewing his past behavior as a mistake, praising him for becoming a better person.

Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar said:

“Back 12 years ago our family went through one of the most difficult times of our lives. When Josh was a young teenager, he made some very bad mistakes, and we were shocked. We had tried to teach him right from wrong. That dark and difficult time caused us to seek God like never before.”

“Even though we would never choose to go through something so terrible, each one of our family members drew closer to God. We pray that as people watch our lives they see that we are not a perfect family.”

    Josh’s wife Anna said:

“When my family and I first visited the Duggar home, Josh shared his past teenage mistakes. I was surprised at his openness and humility and at the same time didn’t know why he was sharing it. For Josh, he wanted not just me but my parents to know who he really was – even very difficult past mistakes.”

  • Jana Duggar: Was She One of the ’19 Kids and Counting’ Siblings Molested by Josh Duggar?

Jana Duggar is the oldest of the 19 Kids and Counting daughters, leaving some to wonder if she was one of the siblings Josh Duggar reportedly molested.

The reports about Josh’s Duggar’s molestations from several years back are running rampant–both online and on broadcast news programs today. The disappointment and disgust shared by the public has prompted TLC to pull 19 Kids and Counting from its lineup.

Jana Duggar, Jill Duggar Dillard, Jessa Duggar Seewald, and Jinger Duggar are the four older Duggar daughters. Might all four girls have been among Josh Duggar’s molestation victims? He reportedly molested four of his female siblings and one victim from outside the family.

Josh Duggar and his parents both issued statements on the matter Thursday.

“Back 12 years ago our family went through one of the most difficult times of our lives. When Josh was a young teenager, he made some very bad mistakes, and we were shocked. We had tried to teach him right from wrong. That dark and difficult time caused us to seek God like never before,” Jim Bob and Michelle said in a statement to People magazine.

“Even though we would never choose to go through something so terrible, each one of our family members drew closer to God. We pray that as people watch our lives they see that we are not a perfect family,” the statement read.

“I would do anything to go back to those teen years and take different actions,” Josh said in a separate statement released by People, “I sought forgiveness from those I had wronged and asked Christ to forgive me and come into my life. In my life today, I am so very thankful for God’s grace, mercy and redemption.”

June Shannon–known as Mama June from the Here Comes Honey Boo Boo TV show–voiced her anger earlier today in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. She was disgusted that 19 Kids and Counting wasn’t pulled from the air immediately, and she believes TLC covered up knowledge of Josh Duggar’s actions for years.

June Shannon’s own reality show, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, was canceled last October following reports that she was dating a convicted child molester named Mark McDaniel. McDaniel was convicted of molesting Shannon’s oldest daughter, Anna Cardwell, when she was just eight years old. Shannon denied last fall that she and McDaniel had renewed a romantic relationship.

“I feel cheated still,” Mama June tells ET. “I was honest with [TLC]. I told them about everything from the get go. They knew the story. They sealed Anna’s records because she was under 18.”

Jana Duggar still lives at home with parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, as well as 15 of her siblings. Back in March it was rumored she was leaving the family’s reality show, but that didn’t prove true. She is the twin sister of John-David Duggar.

Jana Duggar and sister Jill are midwives, and helped deliver the baby of a 19 Kids and Counting crew member when the whole gang traveled to China.

It’s uncertain if word will ever emerge as to which siblings Josh Duggar molested. However, given the time frame when the molestations took place, it would make sense that Jana Duggar was among them.

How must this make Jana Duggar feel, if she in fact was one of her brother’s victims?

  • Nelly: Rapper Arrested on Drug Charges in Tennessee

Nelly was arrested in Tennessee on Saturday on meth and marijuana related charges. The rap star, along with six others, were driving through Tennessee en route to St. Louis when the arrest took place. State troopers pulled over the bus in which the ‘Hot in Herre’ and ‘Country Grammar’ artist was a passenger, and smelled weed. That gave them the probable cause they needed to search the bus. The bus was stopped for not displaying a sticker from the Tansportation Department and the International Fuel Tax Association, which is a requirement for tour buses.

In addition to the marijuana found inside the bus, state troopers also found five rocks that tested positive for methamphetamine. They also discovered drug paraphernalia and guns including a gold-plated Desert Eagle pistol, a 45-caliber Taurus pistol, and a .500-magnum Smith & Wesson.

According to a report from the Washington Post, Nelly was arrested and charged with felony possession of drugs, simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Brian Jones, a passenger on the tour bus, was arrested and charged as a convicted felon in possession of a handgun.

Both men were taken to Putnam County Jail in Cookeville, Tennessee. Nelly was released on $10,000 bond a short time later, according to the Associated Press.

Nelly is scheduled to appear in court on June 19, which also happens to be the day he is scheduled to be in Philadelphia for his tour with New Kids on the Block and TLC.

Nelly hasn’t made an official announcement about his arrest.

Do you think the rapper will get out of court in time to make his concert date with NKOTB and TLC? There will no doubt be some very disappointed fans if he doesn’t.

Do you expect there will be fans who opts not to attend the show because of Nelly’s drug charges?
