  • Tia Mowry May Look Pregnant, But She’s Really ‘Just Fat’

Setting the record straight on HuffPost Live, Tia Mowry dismissed rumors that she is expecting a second baby with husband Cory Hardrict, saying she is just happy and not pregnant.

“I am not pregnant… I am just happy.” Mowry said, explaining that she gained 10 to 15 pounds because of her new cooking show. The mother of one said she often reads comments aimed at her weight including a recent one that advised her to lose some pounds.

The Tia Mowry at Home host said that she felt the comments she received on social media are a form of body-shaming. “I’m happy with who I am,” she said adding she is enjoying her life and that she need not be reminded to lose weight. “But it is a form of body-shaming, I will say that, and it’s pretty unfortunate.” Tia Mowry has been plagued with pregnancy rumors for months.

In July, the actress shared an Instagram photo of a pregnancy test with the words “just fat” on it. “FYI. For all the people that think I’m pregnant. I’m NOT. Just enjoying life and eating and cooking some great food! Thanks. Again I repeat I AM NOT PREGNANT!” she wrote on the caption.

Mowry believes our society’s obsession with being perfect has influenced the way people perceive beauty, and she thinks it has to stop.

She called on her critics and urged everyone to stop picking on other people’s weight, and instead embrace all body shapes and drop the conventional standards of beauty presented by the media.

“We need to be more supportive with body images, especially women, showing that all sizes are beautiful,” Tia Mowry explained. “I’m talking about in magazines, advertisements, in regards to what’s sexy and not sexy. We all need to be a little more supportive of each other.”

  • Tia Mowry Is Not Pregnant, And She Is Happy with Who She Is

If you think Tia Mowry is pregnant, you’re wrong. Also, you’re engaging in a bit of body shaming, she says.

“I am not pregnant, I am just happy. I’ve gained these extra 10 [or] 15 pounds because of my cooking show. I’m just enjoying life and when I want to drop the pounds, I will, but right now I’m happy with who I am. But it is a form of body shaming, I will say that, and it’s pretty unfortunate … We live in a society that is so obsessed with being perfect – why can’t we just be us? Mowry said in a recent HuffPost Live interview.

Mowry’s cooking show, Tia Mowry At Home, airs on the Cooking Channel.

This isn’t the first time Tia Mowry has felt compelled to address pregnancy rumors. A few months, ago, she posted an image of a pregnancy test that read “just fat” to Instagram.

“FYI. For all the people that think I’m pregnant. I’m NOT just enjoying life and eating and cooking some great food! Thanks:) again I repeat I AM NOT PREGNANT!” she captioned the photo.

She also addressed her marriage in the recent interview, saying she doesn’t care about gender roles.

“We don’t put gender roles on our marriage and our relationship. If I’m working a lot and Cory’s home, he will put Cree to bed, and if dishes need to be washed, he will wash them. So it’s not like, ‘Oh, I’m going to wait until my wife gets home and she’s going to be doing all that,’” she said.

  • Tia Mowry Says Pregnancy Rumors Are Fat-Shaming And Have To Stop

Tia Mowry wants to dispel the rumor that she’s pregnant, and she would like her fans to know that although some of their inquiries come from a good place, the constant speculation that she’s expecting are now becoming jabs at her self-esteem.

Mowry, who has her own cooking show, says she’s merely happy and feels good about the way she looks, no matter what some have to say on the matter.

“I am not pregnant, I am just happy. I’ve gained these extra 10 [or] 15 pounds because of my cooking show. I’m just enjoying life, and when I want to drop the pounds, I will, but right now I’m happy with who I am. But it is a form of body shaming, I will say that, and it’s pretty unfortunate…We live in a society that is so obsessed with being perfect…why can’t we just be us?” she told HuffPost Live.

Mowry also said that the lack of support for women–particularly in Hollywood, where women are expected to look perfect at all times and competition is fierce–is harmful to everyone.

“We need to be more supportive with with everything. With body images, especially with women, showing that all sizes are beautiful. And I’m talking about in magazines, advertisement in regard to what’s sexy and what’s not sexy. We all need to be a little more supportive of each other. I think if we start there, we’ll see a difference.”

Tia isn’t the first actress to garner criticism for her appearance; Ashley Judd, Modern Family‘s Ariel Winter, and Amy Schumer have all fallen victim to the harsh words of fans and critics.

    I'm always looking for balance…

  • Tamera Mowry: Hubby Announces Baby’s Gender on ‘The Real’

Tamera Mowry just announced this past Sunday that she and hubby Adam Housley are expecting their second baby, and now word of that baby’s gender has been shared on TV.

Adam Housley reportedly announced the baby’s gender on Thursday’s episode of The Real.

Mowry, who starred with twin sister Tia Mowry on the hit TV show Sister, Sister, didn’t want to know the baby’s gender–at first anyway. Curiosity and excitement got the best of her, however, along with a bit of urging on behalf of her co-hosts on The Real.

In the end, Tamera Mowry allowed her co-hosts to call her husband during a taping of the show. Both Mowry and Housley talked prior to the taping of the show. He wanted to be sure she was truly on board for the gender reveal.

Following the reveal, Tamera shared the following photo on her Instagram account.

She captioned the shot, “IT’S A GIRL! Adam told me the gender of our baby today while taping #TheReal and I was so surprised and excited!! Love my co-hosts at @therealdaytime for being so supportive!”

This means Tamera Mowry and Adam Housley will soon be the parents of both a son and a daughter. They already have a two-year-old son named Aden.

The following is Tamera Mowry’s initial announcement about her second pregnancy.

She captioned the photo, “We are thrilled to announce we are #ClearblueConfirmed! Can’t wait to meet baby #2! Love Clearblue’s pregnancy test with Smart Countdown. It helped me get through the wait to get my result by counting down with me. #spon.”

Congratulations to both Tamera Mowry and Adam Housley. How exciting that their son Aden will soon have a little sister.

  • Tamera Mowry: ‘Sister, Sister’ Star Expecting Second Baby

Tamera Mowry and hubby Adam Housley are expecting their second child–a sibling for their two-year-old son Aden.

The Sister, Sister star and cohost of The Real shared word of their exciting news on Sunday.

She posted a photo of her holding a pregnancy test on Instagram.

“We are thrilled to announce we are #ClearblueConfirmed! Can’t wait to meet baby #2! Love Clearblue’s pregnancy test with Smart Countdown. It helped me get through the wait to get my result by counting down with me. #spon,” she captioned the photo.

Tamera Mowry married Adam Housley back in May of 2011, and the couple welcomed their first child in November of 2012. From the beginning, Housley impressed his wife with his parenting skills.

“He’s a very hands-on dad,” Mowry-Housley said in an interview with People magazine back in February. “That’s such a big blessing when you have a husband that loves being a dad just as much as you love being a mom. He is a phenomenal father.”

Tamera Mowry starred with twin sister Tia Mowry-Hardrict in the hit TV show Sister, Sister. Tia is mom to three-year-old Cree. Tamera says it will be a ‘happy coincidence’ if she and her sister wind up pregnant at the same time.

“If we end up pregnant at the same time, we didn’t plan it!” she said to People this past summer.

Congratulations to Tamera Mowry-Housley and husband Adam Housley on their exciting news. Do you suppose Tia Mowry will soon be making a similar announcement?

  • Tia Mowry’s ‘Instant Mom’ Renewed For Third Season

Nickelodeon has given the go ahead for producers to begin work on the third season of Instant Mom starring Tia Mowry.

Nickelodeon’s President of Content Development and Production Russell Hicks made the announcement on Monday, revealing that the network would be renewing the hit comedy series for a 20-episode third season.

“Instant Mom has proven to be the perfect breakout series for families to enjoy together on Nick at Nite,” Hicks said. “The show appeals to kids and parents alike, and we’re excited to continue delivering new, comedic storylines that our talented cast and creative team bring to life.”

The scripted half-hour series appears on Nick at Nite and Nick Mom, and stars Mowry as the former party girl Stephanie.

The show follows Stephanie as she becomes a full-time step mom to three children after marrying their traditional father Charlie. With the help of her mother, Stephanie starts to figure out this parenting thing in her own unique way.

Mowry took to her personal Instagram page to share the exciting news with her fans. “Whoo-hoo!!! Instant Mom gets picked up for a 3rd season! We couldn’t have done this without all of you guys! Thanks for your support! We love you!! #happygirl,” she wrote.

Season two of Instant Mom premieres on October 2 at an all new time – 8:00 p.m. ET.

  • Tia Mowry Becomes an ‘Instant Mom’ for a Third Season

Nick at Nite has renewed Instant Mom, their hit series starring Tia Mowry-Hardrict, for a third season…before the second one even premieres.

The President of Content Development and Production at Nickelodeon, Russell Hicks, announced on September 9, 2014 that Instant Mom was picked up for a 20-episode third season.

According to Hicks, “Instant Mom has proven to be the perfect breakout series for families to enjoy together on Nick at Nite. The show appeals to kids and parents alike, and we’re excited to continue delivering new, comedic storylines that our talented cast and creative team bring to life.”

Mowry-Hardict starred in Sister, Sister with her twin sister Tamera Mowry-Housley from 1994-1999. After that series ended, Mowry found success again as Melanie Barnett in the CW/BET series The Game. She later reunited with Tamera to appear in their hit Style Network reality show Tia and Tamera. They also appeared in the Disney channel original movies Twitches and Twiches Too, and Showtime’s original movie Seventeen Again.

In Instant Mom, Mowry-Hardrict plays Stephanie Philips, a reformed party girl who marries Charlie Philips (played by Michael Boatman), and then suddenly becomes a stepmom to three kids. Charlie is more traditional than Stephanie, but she uses her untraditional parenting style to win over the children and learn the true meaning of being a mother. Her mother Maggie (played by Sheryl Lee Ralph) helps her adjust to her new roles in the Philips family.

Before Instant Mom premiered in 2013, Nickelodeon immediately ordered seven additional episodes. Through the course of its three seasons, the series will have 66 episodes that aired. Season 1 of Instant Mom drew 1.2 million viewers. On the NickMom comedy block on the Nick Jr. channel it became the highest-rated series premiere ever with women 18-49 and in total viewership.

The second season of Instant Mom premieres on Oct. 2 on Nick at Nite.

  • Charlize Theron: Why Is She So Angry?

Charlize Theron: Why Is She So Angry?

Charlize Theron does NOT like to be bothered when she’s working out.

Tia Mowry found that out the hard way. She tried to approach her at a SoulCycle spin class.

“She wasn’t very nice to me,” Mowry said of her encounter. “I said ‘Hi,’ and she actually rolled her eyes and said, ‘Oh my God.’ I wasn’t over-the-top. I know how to approach another celebrity. Charlize was just mean. I’m just being honest.”

Now, Charlize Theron reportedly wants Tia Mowry banned from even coming into the gym because Mowry went to the press about her incredibly rude experience with Theron.

Charlize Theron took her complaint to management.

“Charlize came in so p****d off after Tia went to the tabloids about her, and she demanded we bar Tia from ever coming back,” said a source.

Unfortunately for Theron, her request was denied, but she vowed to “take it to the top”.

She said during her rant at club managers,

“This nobody who was famous for a minute 20 years ago can complain to the tabloids about me but I can’t expect you to protect me from hangers on in your studio?”

    Ouch!

Poor Tia Mowry. I certainly wouldn’t want to face the wrath of Charlize Theron.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pJajWhI7D0g

More recently, this entire story has been denied by Tia Mowry, which is kind of weird. I guess she could be backpedaling like crazy. However, it does beg the question, is Charlize Theron really an angry mess?

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YhDsIWyX7PA

A source close to the matter said, “This just feels like a vendetta because Tia spoke up. Charlize used to be kind of quiet and chill when she came to spin, but it looks like dating Sean Penn isn’t doing her any favors.”

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cpjf2RCH_BE

Hmmm. Could dating Sean Penn be making Charlize Theron angry?

The Hollywood power couple has not even been dating for a year yet, but things are rumored to be getting serious. There was even a reported trip down the aisle as early as this year.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l2nFC_OUrxU

Maybe it’s wedding plans that are stressing Charlize Theron out.

Who knows. Hopefully Charlize and Tia can continue to work this thing out!

  • Tia Mowry Denies Feud With Charlize Theron

Tia Mowry and Charlize Theron have reportedly been feuding since an incident that occurred in July. However, Tia explained that the whole story has been overly exaggerated and blown out of proportion.

Mowry, who now stars on Nickelodeon’s new series Instant Mom, recently told In Touch magazine that she had tried to befriend Theron at a SoulCycle class earlier this summer.

Theron was reportedly not very accepting of Mowry’s approach and rolled her eyes and snubbed her. Other reports claim Charlize even tried to have Tia banned from the class, but sources explained that that story was completely fabricated.

“I said ‘Hi,’ and she actually rolled her eyes and said, ‘Oh my God.’ I wasn’t over-the-top. I know how to approach another celebrity. Charlize was just mean. I’m just being honest,” Tia recalled.

Now, the Sister Sister star is setting the record straight and explaining that there is no feud between the two actresses, calling Charlize her “Woman Crush Wednesday.”

“I do not know her,” Mowry said. “I do not know Charlize. I absolutely love her, she’s my “Woman Crush Wednesday,” you can even see it on my Instagram! I’m obsessed with her, I love her, but it was definitely blown out of proportion. So that’s all I’m going to say about that.”

  • Tia Mowry Denies Charlize Theron Feud, ‘She’s My Woman Crush Wednesday’

Tia Mowry wants to set the record straight over recent reports that she is in a feud with Charlize Theron.

The Sister, Sister star and Theron reportedly had a bit of a run-in at a SoulCycle class in July. Mowry allegedly told In Touch magazine she tried to befriend the Oscar-winning actress without much success.

“She wasn’t very nice to me,” Mowry told In Touch Weekly. “I said ‘Hi,’ and she actually rolled her eyes and said, ‘Oh my God.’ I wasn’t over-the-top. I know how to approach another celebrity. Charlize was just mean. I’m just being honest.”

Following that initial story, more news surfaced that Theron apparently attempted to have Mowry banned from class.

However, according to a source for E! News, the rumors are all false.

“This is totally fabricated and completely not true,” said the source.

This confirms Mowry’s assertions to E! last week that the incident was “blown out of proportion.”

“I do not know her,” she said. “I do not know Charlize. I absolutely love her, she’s my “Woman Crush Wednesday,” you can even see it on my Instagram! I’m obsessed with her, I love her, but it was definitely blown out of proportion. So that’s all I’m going to say about that.”

Mowry currently stars as Stephanie Phillips on the Nickelodeon series Instant Mom. As for Theron, she has plenty of films in the works, including Dark Places alongside Christina Hendricks, Nicholas Hoult and Chloe Grace Moretz.

  • Tia Mowry Says She’s Not Fighting With Charlize Theron

It seems like there is always a celebrity feud going on in Hollywood and sometimes several at once. The most recent feud is between Tia Mowry and Charlize Theron.

According to a source, the two got into a catfight at a spinning class at SoulCycle. Tia said that Charlize was being rude and Charlize got angry and demanded that Tia be removed from the class and banned from the establishment.

Tia claims that she saw Charlize at the spinning class and attempted to introduce herself, thinking the two would be friends. Charlize just wasn’t having it and was rude to Tia.

“I wasn’t over-the-top,” the Sister, Sister star said. “I know how to approach another celebrity. Charlize was just mean. I’m just being honest.”

Tia said that Charlize rolled her eyes at her during her introduction and was so upset about it that she told the gym’s manager.

Of course, the incident also made its way to the tabloids.

“Charlize came in so pissed off after Tia went to the tabloids about her, and she demanded we bar Tia from ever coming back. When the manager refused, Charlize just got angrier and said she’d go to the top to make it happen,” a source said.

Charlize then demanded that Tia be removed from the spinning class and allegedly told the manager,

“This nobody who was famous for a minute 20 years ago can complain to the tabloids about me but I can’t expect you to protect me from hangers-on in your studio?”

Tia later said that there was no beef between the actresses and that the whole thing was just blown out of proportion.

“I’m obsessed with her, I love her, it was definitely blown out of proportion,” Tia added. “So that’s all I’m going to say about that.”

What do you think of the fight?

  • Charlize Theron vs. Tia Mowry: Who Would Win?

Charlize Theron vs. Tia Mowry: Who Would Win?

Charlize Theron is mean. At least, according to Sister, Sister star Tia Mowry.

Mowry, 36, took her complaints to tabloids after Theron apparently dissed her at a SoulCycle class a few weeks ago.

“She wasn’t very nice to me,” Mowry told In Touch. “I said, ‘Hi,’ and she actually rolled her eyes and said, ‘Oh my God.’”

The fact that Mowry admits to having a “woman crush” on Theron made the exchange even more upsetting.

“I wasn’t over-the-top,” she said. “I know how to approach another celebrity. Charlize was just mean. I’m just being honest.”

But an insider said that the interaction gave Theron doubts about her privacy at the popular fitness studio. However, it wasn’t until Mowry shared the story with the press that Theron, 39, became so angry that she demanded that Mowry be banned from the spin classes.

“Charlize came in so pissed off after Tia went to the tabloids about her, and she demanded we bar Tia from ever coming back,” the insider said. “When the manager refused, Charlize just got angrier and said she’d go to the top to make it happen.”

The insider also shared that Theron told SoulCycle management, “This nobody who was famous for a minute 20 years ago can complain to the tabloids about me but I can’t expect you to protect me from hangers-on in your studio?”

Although Theron has not commented publicly on the incident, Mowry is now saying that the whole thing was “blown out of proportion.”

“I’m obsessed with her, I love her, it was definitely blown out of proportion,” she said. “So that’s all I’m going to say about that.”

No word as to whether Mowry will be returning to SoulCycle any time soon.

  • Tia Mowry Called A “Nobody” By Charlize Theron?

Instant Mom star Tia Mowry is doing some damage control over what she claims are overblown reports that she’s in a feud with Oscar-winning actor Charlize Theron. In an interview with In Touch recently, Mowry talked of an encounter at a SoulCycle class where Theron snubbed her. Mowry is now backing up, saying the incident was “blown out of proportion.”

The original report had Mowry saying that she tried to introduce herself to Theron in the spinning class, but that Theron had rolled her eyes and said, “Oh my God.” Mowry claimed that she had approached the veteran actor politely, without being “over-the-top,” and that Theron was being “mean”.

This presented a feeding frenzy for media, with reports coming out later that Theron had lashed back at Mowry. A source told Dish Nation that Theron had demanded that Mowry be banned from SoulCycle because she was so angry that Mowry had spoken to the tabloids about her. SoulCycle reportedly refused, which made the 39-year-old star of Snow White And The Huntsman even more angry. She was apparently concerned about her privacy during the 45-minute spinning classes, and a source claims that she said, “This nobody who was famous for a minute 20 years ago can complain to the tabloids about me but I can’t expect you to protect me from hangers-on in your studio?”

However, sources are now coming out saying that the story is completely “fabricated and untrue.” Mowry herself is saying that she doesn’t know Theron personally, and admires her enough to even have a crush on her. “I absolutely love her, she’s my ‘woman crush Wednesday,’ you can even see it on my Instagram!” she said. “I’m obsessed with her, I love her, it was definitely blown out of proportion. So that’s all I’m going to say about that.”

  • Tia Mowry, Charlize Theron: Nasty Cat Fight?

Tia Mowry and Charlize Theron appear to be in the throes of a rather nasty cat fight that involves trendy spin classes at a place called SoulCycle. Now it seems Theron is hell-bent on getting Tia Mowry banned from the establishment.

Here’s how Page Six says it all went down.

Supposedly Tia Mowry approached Charlize Theron at one of these spin classes and introduced herself.

“I wasn’t over-the-top,” the Sister, Sister star said. “I know how to approach another celebrity. Charlize was just mean. I’m just being honest.”

Charlize Theron reportedly rolled her eyes when Mowry made her polite introduction. Therefore Tia ratted her out to the management for ‘being mean.’

“Charlize came in so pissed off after Tia went to the tabloids about her, and she demanded we bar Tia from ever coming back. When the manager refused, Charlize just got angrier and said she’d go to the top to make it happen,” a source claims.

This same source says Charlize said the following to SoulCycle management in her effort to get Tia Mowry removed from the studio. Her interaction with Mowry reportedly gave Theron doubts about her privacy being protected while in the spinning studio.

“This nobody who was famous for a minute 20 years ago can complain to the tabloids about me but I can’t expect you to protect me from hangers-on in your studio?”

Another source, however, claims this cat fight is nothing but pure conjecture.

“I do not know her,” Tia Mowry said at the L.A. premiere of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. “I do not know Charlize. I absolutely love her, she’s my ‘woman crush Wednesday,’ you can even see it on my Instagram!”

“I’m obsessed with her, I love her, it was definitely blown out of proportion,” Tia added. “So that’s all I’m going to say about that.”

So what do you suppose is the real scoop? Is the Snow White and the Huntsman star mean and trying to get Tia Mowry kicked out of SoulCycle? Is Tia now afraid that might happen, so she’s singing Charlize’s praises for the media?

It definitely sounds like a cat fight–the kind with words instead of bitch slaps and fingernail gashes, however. Stay tuned to see how this all turns out.

  • Tamera Mowry-Housley Cries As She Discusses Racism

During an interview on OWN Network’s Where Are They Now special, Tamera Mowry-Housley broke down into tears as she discussed her run-ins with racism.

Since marrying Fox News Channel correspondent Adam Housley in 2011, Mowry-Housley says that she has received intense criticism and hatred for marrying a man that is outside of her race.

“I’ve never experienced so much hate ever in my life. I get called, ‘White man’s whore,’ the new one, ‘Back in the day, you cost $300 but now you’re giving it to ‘em for free.’ Stuff that, me as a person, could never even fathom,” she reveals. “I can’t even think of these words.

Mowry-Housley says that she never even gave any thought to race when she chose who she would date or marry. She, and her twin sister Tia Mowry-Hardict, are bi-racial, and she says that she just wanted a relationship based on love. “It’s very hard for me to think of it because I’m a product of it,” she continues. “My mom is a beautiful black woman and my dad is an amazing white man. I grew up seeing a family. I didn’t grow up seeing, ‘ooh a blank with a white person!’ So it’s very shocking to go through this,” she said.

“This was the big one. They say, ‘Oh Tia’s a true black woman because she married a black man.’ Oh? I’m lesser of a black person because I married white? I love my husband so much. I love my family,” she explains. “I love our dynamic. I’m proud to be in the relationship I am in because it’s based on love. Pure love.”

  • Tia and Tamera End Reality TV Show ‘Tia and Tamera’

After three successful seasons, child stars Tia and Tamera Mowry are calling it quits, with the cancellation of their self-titled reality TV show Tia & Tamera.

On Tuesday Dec. 31, Tamera Mowry-Housley announced that the E! series would not be returning for a fourth season.

The 35-year-old actress took to Twitter to share the abrupt news with fans. The reality TV star posted a series of tweets to address their executive decision.

Mowry-Housley’s tweeted, “Wanted to say Thank You for all the love and support. But most of all welcoming me, my husband, n (and) my son into your homes for 3 seasons…”

“Tia and Tamera will not have a season 4. Thank you for always supporting us throughout the years. Tia n I decided it was time 2 live r family lives behind the cameras…,” she said.

The Tia & Tamera reality series initially started out as just a television special, which was originally titled Tia & Tamera Take 2. The television special aired July 17, 2010 on the former Style Network.

The television series allowed fans to look into the personal lives of the famous twins as they juggled careers, marriage and motherhood.

However, fans soon discovered a shocking, yet interesting detail about the two – opposition. The show revealed the vast differences between the twins’ personalities, which actually served as a gravitational pull to keep fans interested.

    (image)

The success of the television special led to a reality television spin-off that ended up being coined simply Tia & Tamera. The reality show debuted on August 8, 2011.

Due to exceptionally high ratings, the Style Network immediately renewed the show for a second season in September 2011, just one month after the series premiere. A third season was announced in February of 2013, and premiered on July 14, 2013.

The show’s third and final season ended September 22, 2013. Tia & Tamera was actually the last television series to air on the Style Network before it was rebranded as the Esquire Network the very next day.

The Sister, Sister stars expressed that their decision to part with reality TV was due to their desire to live their lives outside of the spotlight. Although they may be walking away from reality TV, all isn’t lost as they’ll still be in the spotlight. However, it won’t be for reality TV.

Tia Mowry-Hardrict is currently starring on the new NickMoms show Instant Mom, while Tamera is a permanent panelist on the talk show The Real.

  • Tamera Mowry Wants To Give Birth Already

Tamera Mowry, who is expecting her first child–a son–any minute now, says she is trying to be patient, but with her due date looming tomorrow and no sign of a baby yet, she’s growing very impatient.

“If I have yet to learn patience, my son is in the process of teaching me now. I have learned that I am not in control and that he will decide when he comes. However, I have not been as receptive as I want to be to his timing. If I am completely honest … at this stage, I want this baby OUT!” she wrote on her blog.

Mowry says sleepless nights are a common occurrence for her these days and is eager to be done with a pregnancy which has seemed to stretch out forever. Although it’s not uncommon for first-time moms to give birth a little later than expected, she says she’s already looked up natural ways to get labor in motion.

Her twin sister, Tia, says that they’re alike in more ways than one: neither of them can take much pain. She joked recently that she wasn’t sure Tamera would be able to handle giving birth.

“She is my sister and we can’t take pain. Pain and us, we just don’t mix!” she said. “She is trying to be brave, which is good….but I don’t think she is going to make it.”

These days, doctors won’t let a pregnancy go too far past the due date for fear of the baby getting too big, so if labor doesn’t start soon, she may have to be induced. Her official due date is tomorrow, October 30th.
