  • Nina Dobrev Cryptic, Ian Somerhalder Tweets for Nikki Reed

    Nina Dobrev is posting cryptic inspirational messages on WhoSay while her ex-boyfriend Ian Somerhalder is busy tweeting on behalf of rumored new love interest Nikki Reed. Has Ian simply jumped from one vampire to another? Nina, of course, costars with him on The Vampire Diaries while Reed played a vampire in The Twilight Saga series of films.

    Even if there’s no truth to it, Ian and Nikki are definitely making headlines, as they are seen out and about in a variety of places–together.

    Here’s Nina Dobev’s first WhoSay post. Is it in any way coincidental?

    According to E!, a source recently confirmed that Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed are in fact an item. Is this leaving Nina Dobrev feeling lonely or like an outcast?

    Meanwhile Ian Somerhalder tweeted on behalf of Nikki Reed, in hopes of helping to find a new home for a dog.

    So what’s your take on the Nikki Reed-Ian Somerhalder-Nina Dobrev loveless triangle? Are the above posts on Nina’s page just coincidental or somehow related to Ian’s latest fling?

    Nina and Ian may be through, but the two actually had a pact–even following their breakup, and that pact was to always be truthful to one another. It sort of seems like Nina Dobrev is hurt that Ian Somerhalder didn’t honor that pact since he hasn’t come out and told her directly that he’s dating Nikki Reed. Nikki and her ex-boyfriend and Nina and Ian all have a past together. They did a lot of double dating, which compounds the uncomfortable nature of the situation.

    Of course the grown up thing to do would be for everyone to stop posting innuendoes on social media and simply initiate a face to face conversation. Now how completely civilized might that be?

    Do you think there’s a chance that will happen?

    And you know–you really can’t blame Ian Somerhalder for trying to help Nikki Reed find a home for that precious dog. Maybe Nina should take him?

  • Kellan Lutz: Goodbye Twilight, Hello Hercules

    Kellan Lutz has left his Twilight past and jumped into the land of Hercules. Long known for his role as vampire Emmett Cullen in The Twilight Saga series of films, he now stars as Hercules in The Legend of Hercules, which opened in theaters nationwide on Friday.

    “It’s the hero’s journey – you have the wizard, you have the antagonist, that’s the king, and you have the different missions he has to go through and the love interest in Princess Hebe. Story-wise, it’s all there, that’s what drew me to it,” Lutz said in a recent interview with Reuters. “I knew when I saw the superheroes that I wanted to fight against injustice. So from a young age, I always wanted to make the world a better place like Captain Planet would do, or He-Man, or Tarzan or Hercules.”

    How difficult do you suppose it will be for Twilight fans to see The Legend of Hercules and not think of Kellan Lutz as Emmett Cullen? Might he wind up as typecast as some feared Robert Pattinson would? It’s often difficult when beloved actors switch from long term roles into one that is fresh and new. Hopefully this will break the vampire’s spell on Kellan Lutz and make him a hit on the big screen as a hero this time around.

    Kellan certainly convinced a reporter that he has Herculean strength during a recent interview. When she asked if he performed his own stunts in the film, he lifted her off the floor–chair and all.

  • Kellan Lutz Talks Butt Chafing? Bulks Up For ‘Legend Of Hercules’

    Although Twilight actor Kellan Lutz may have the awesome body of a gladiator, he didn’t always have the warrior expertise he cleverly displays in the new film The Legend of Hercules.

    According to E! News, the actor sat down with the network’s own Giuliana Rancic and Catt Sadler this past Friday to dish about the film.

    He admitted to having a slight issue with his butt while shooting the film. Lutz,who portrays the lead role of Hercules, actually had a bout with butt chafing while mastering the art of equestrianism.

    Obviously, horseback riding wasn’t one of the stunning actor’s strong points. But, if the film is any indicator of his progress, it looks like he conquered butt chafing and horseback riding quite well.

    He even shared his account of the uncomfortable and disconcerting experience! “It got rough. It got really rough,” Lutz told Rancic and Sadler. “There was some chafing. You’re bouncing up and down, you have to ride [the horse], so you really learn. So, my butt just got raw,” he explained. 

    “I got some scars on it and I had to be on the horse the next day, because the horse needs to learn that you are the rider, so you can never miss a day,” he continued. “So, I learned my lesson to listen to the experts and I will always do that from now on.”

    Lutz and Rancic mutually agreed that butt cream, which was his remedy of choice, is the best way to relieve such discomfort. Rancic also weighed in with her comedic accounts of butt chafing, stating that she opted for her baby’s cream.  (image)

    But fortunately, all of his horse woes paid off! He also revealed that the horse was quite beneficial for his workout routine. Lutz, who has physically transformed into Hercules with his ultra-toned biceps, explained that most of his workouts were done on set with the help of the horse.

    “I had my trusty beast—my horse—to work on my legs with every time I rode him and then also working with a sword—it works your shoulders and your chests quite well, so I love it,” he said. “Also, I’m topless in most of the scenes so it gave me the opportunity to do push-ups whenever I wanted to.”

    His hard work has definitely paid off, and it shows in his on-screen performance. The Legend of Hercules was released to theaters nationwide on Friday, Jan. 10.

  • Kristen Stewart in New Topless Ad [Photo]

    Kristen Stewart could have easily went the model route instead of acting, due to her thin frame, her blank-canvas-non-distinctive facial features, and her ability to be very photogenic, which is why she’s been the face of Balenciago perfume for almost two years now.

    For its new fragrance and ad campaign, the company released a brand new image of Stewart looking very Kate Moss-ish, with that part bothered, part come hither look, that many models have mastered over the years. Additionally, the photo looks like the 23-year old is without a top, which is why it’s gone extremely viral in just a couple of days. In fact, the photo appears to be an older shot taken from the company’s 2013 campaign for Florabotanica perfume, as it looks almost identical.

    What’s also noticeable about the newly released image, and the 2013 image as well, is the photographer’s use of black and white and color together, which blends together quite seamlessly.

    In a 2012 interview, “The Twilight Saga” actress said that perfume was never really her thing, but she chose to represent this particular brand because it had a natural fragrance that wasn’t too girly. “There is something natural about [the smell of the perfume],” she said. “It’s very alive. I was never the one wearing my mom’s perfume and trying to be sexy. I was like hanging out with my brothers and doing the opposite of that.”

    Plus, she said she never felt mature enough to wear perfume, and always thought it was something for adults. “On a base level, the reason you want to wear a fragrance is because you want to smell attractive,” she explained. “That in itself is a pretty mature idea, especially considering the teenager I was. I’m very lucky that I like the fragrance, because I would have done anything with [the company], and I’m a terrible liar.”
