  • Sandra Bullock Shares ‘Inappropriate’ Halloween Costume Son Louis Chose For Her and It’s Va-Va-Voom

Sandra Bullock and her son, Louis, don’t seem to see eye to eye when it come to Halloween costumes.

During an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night, Bullock, 51, shared what she and her 5-year-old son Louis were planning for the Halloween weekend.

The Our Brand is Crisis actress shared that Louis planned on going trick-or-treating as a Ninja Turtle, which she deems a “classic” costume. On the other hand, he had very different plans for his momma’s costume.

“We usually match, but this year he sort of deviated off the matching,” Bullock said, adding that Louis chose a “Slutty Batgirl” costume for Sandra.

“It was like the most inappropriate thing,” she explained. “You know how there’s regular Batgirl, and then there’s the ones for those moms that like to really turn it out? Like a little leather skirt, and the boots that go over the knee, and a bustier?”

“I’m not going to be wearing that,” she said adamantly.

The costume apparently caught Louis’ eye as the two looking through a costume catalog.

“He went, ‘Mama, you hasta wear this!’” Bullock says. “And I went, ‘No, mama doesn’t want to. I’m not wearing that around your friends.’”

Instead, Bullock has other ideas for a costume.

“Either a pirate wench, covered head to toe, or just the basic mime,” Bullock said with a laugh.

Fallon and Bullock went on to take a moment to reminisce about working together on a Canadian soap opera called Jacob’s Patience, in which Bullock owned an ice cream store. Bullock seemed to remember that time of their lives fondly. However, Fallon had a very different take about working with the actress.

“You were a little difficult to work with,” he says. “You refused to use your own arms.”

Fallon explained that in order to make Bullock feel more comfortable, the director made everyone on set use mannequin arms as well.

Fallon put up a hilarious clip from the fake show, showing Bullock trying desperately to scoop ice cream using only fake arms. In keeping with the modus operandi of any Jacob’s Patience sketch, the two managed to get food everywhere as Sandra Bullock dipped her fake hands into hot fudge, broke every cone and ultimately lost one of her fake hands in the process.

  • Howard Stern Jumps on Jay Leno Over Jimmy Kimmel “Mean Streak” Comment

Howard Stern is taking Jimmy Kimmel’s side following a comment Jay Leno made about the late-night host.

It was during an interview with the New York Daily News that Jay Leno remarked about Kimmel, saying he’s third place in the late-night ratings because “he’s got a mean streak.”

“It’s funny, I always thought Jimmy Kimmel was the (late night) guy that I was going to be close to,” Jay Leno said during the aforementioned interview. “We have similar blue-collar, Italian roots–but he chose to go after me so he could get into the whole Howard Stern camp and never really understood what it was all about. I think he’s talented, I think he’s funny, but he’s got a mean streak and I think that’s the reason he’s in third place and I think that people sense that.”

Blasting Leno with a declaration of his own, Howard Stern hit back during his radio show.

“No one is more cruel than Jay Leno,” he said. “Jimmy Kimmel is one of the nicest guys on the planet.”

Howard Stern took a bit of an underhanded jab at Leno, too.

“Jay is putting his enormous chin where it doesn’t belong.”

Jimmy Kimmel blasted Jay Leno when he returned to The Tonight Show in 2010 following NBC’s handing the reins to Conan O’Brien, and then taking the show away from him.

Howard Stern firmly believes Leno’s beef with Kimmel is because of his (Kimmel’s) overt respect for David Letterman.

“Jimmy loved Letterman and didn’t like when Jay plotted against him [to become the host of The Tonight Show in 1992],” Howard Stern said.

It’s really all water under that proverbial bridge now–isn’t it? Jay Leno has retired for good from the late night scene, passing the reins on to Jimmy Fallon, who is topping the ratings charts.

Jay Leno “filled in” for Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon earlier this week.

What’s your take on Howard Stern’s comments about Jay Leno? Is he simply a huge Jimmy Kimmel fan who is standing up for his friend–or does he have an old beef with Leno?

Is it possible Howard Stern was simply having a slow news day and opted to diss Jay Leno as a result?

  • Jimmy Fallon Brings Jay Leno Back to “The Tonight Show” for Surprise Appearance

Jimmy Fallon surprised his audience, as well as viewers at home, on Tuesday night when he brought Jay Leno back to The Tonight Show.

Fallon started the show as usual–easing into his monologue. Then he suffered an injury.

“I think I pulled a hammie on that one. I don’t think I can continue,” Jimmy Fallon said. “I think I’m going to have to sub out. Can someone tag in for me please?”

That’s when Jay Leno took the stage to an abundance of loud applause. He took over the monologue, immediately launching into several one-liners about presidential candidates.

“You know, a lot of people think that when the Republican feud begins to clear, it’ll be between Jeb Bush and Donald Trump–kind of like the race between the tortoise and the bad ‘hair.’”

Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders got their fair share of time during the monologue, too.

Jimmy Fallon rejoined Jay Leno on stage when he started mocking the state of the economy.

“(The economy) is so bad even the Kardashians are losing their ass!” Jay Leno cracked.

“The economy is so bad Hillary Clinton wants people to look through her deleted e-mails to see if there’s anything from that Nigerian prince,” Jimmy Fallon added.

Did you catch Jay Leno when he appeared on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night? Did it make you wish Jay was back at the helm or have you become a bona fide Jimmy Fallon fan since Leno left The Tonight Show?

  • Olivia Wilde, Jimmy Fallow: How Not to Blow Up A Watermelon

Olivia Wilde was all too happy on Friday, while a guest on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, to join the show’s host in yet another of his hilarious antics. Called “Watermelon Time Bomb,” the object of the game was to wrap as many rubber bands as possible around a watermelon until it blew up.

Jimmy Fallon played a similar game on a previous episode with actress Shailene Woodley. That one was called “Pumpkin Time Bomb,” and involved the same objective.

Olivia Wilde and Jimmy Fallon donned goggles and began wrapping rubber bands around said watermelon.

    “Safety is sexy,” Fallon said.

“It’s going to hurt so bad,” the Meadowland star said, fearing some pain upon the watermelon’s explosion.

“It doesn’t hurt,” Jimmy Fallon insisted.

After resorting to double-banding the watermelon, Olivia Wilde decided it was never going to blow up, so she slammed it on the floor, spraying some of the audience members with juice.

Earlier in the show, Olivia Wilde talked about starring in an HBO show about the seedy side of the music world. The show is directed by Mick Jagger. She was so in awe of working with the Rolling Stones singer that she was tongue tied whenever she tried talking to him.

Don’t you love some of the games Jimmy Fallon plays on The Tonight Show?

Does his previous idea of “Pumpkin Time Bomb” have you thinking it might be a fun option for Halloween?

Do you think Olivia Wilde will ever play a game like this one again?

  • Justin Timberlake ‘Completely Changed’ by Baby Silas, According to Lance Bass

Justin Timerlake and Lance Bass go all the way back to the ‘NSync days–meaning they’ve known each other since the 1990s. Bass recently spoke out about strong changes he’s seen in Justin Timberlake. And he credits just one person for those changes.

The two ran into each other when Justin was filming his appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon earlier this week. That’s when he first noticed the changes in his old friend.

“It’s been five months and it’s so amazing to see a friend go through this, because you know, I grew up with him since he was 14 years old,” Lance Bass said of Justin Timberlake. “But to see this amazing dad now… all he wants to talk about is the kid.”

The person Lance Bass claims has initiated the biggest changes ever in Justin Bieber is his baby boy, Silas Timberlake.

Now surely, Lance would agree that wife Jessica Biel has helped the “D*ck in A Box” singer make some positive changes, too, but it’s that baby boy who gets most of the credit.

Bass shared an Instagram shot of his meet-up with Justin Timberlake earlier this week.

“Well well, look who’s in the #NBC house today! @JustinTimberlake and Cousin Rachel! Catch JT on @jimmyfallon,” he captioned it.

A photo posted by Lance Bass (@lancebass) on

While chatting with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, Justin Timberlake pulled out some recent photos of baby Silas. The Tonight Show shared them via Twitter so all the home viewers could get a close look as well.

“[He’s] completely changed and you have to,” Bass said of Timberlake. “I mean I can’t wait to be a dad myself just because I would love to know what that selflessness feels like.”

Lance Bass also said that he and husband Michael Turchin have a plan in place for eventual parenthood.

“One of the reasons I wanted to marry him was because I want to start a family, and we definitely in the next two or three years want to start that family,” he dished. “I know people are very on the fence with IVF and all this stuff, but people have been doing it for years. With us, of course we want to find a surrogate to have our own kids, but now I was just reading with stem cell research and all this, and that’s of course up to the minute, now they are saying with the skin cells of a male you can actually produce an egg and fertilize [it], so you can have biological kids with two males.”

Regardless of which method Lance Bass and his husband choose, Justin Timberlake will likely offer a few pointers about being a great dad.

Do you agree with Lance that fatherhood has changed Justin Timberlake profoundly?

  • Judd Apatow Slams Bill Cosby in Spot-On ‘Tonight Show’ Stand Up Routine

Judd Apatow doesn’t include Bill Cosby on his list of BFFs. In fact, the director has made it unequivocally clear recently that he believes Cosby is guilty of the alleged drugging and rapes that have been front and center in the media in recent months.

While a guest of Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show Monday, the Trainwreck director did a stand up comedy routine that slammed Bill Cosby and–the serious nature of his alleged crimes aside–was hilarious, too.

“Cosby is still out on the road. Isn’t that weird? He’s like doing stand-up. What do you think his act is like? Do you think he’s still talking about it?” Judd Apatow began, before transitioning into a Bill Cosby impression. “You ever been in trouble with the wife? You ever get into the dog house with the wife?

He continued with his Cosby imitation.

“And my wife, she said to me, ‘What is this in the paper about the raping and the drugging and the women?’ And I said, ‘Do you like your life? Do you like the house, the jet? Then have a cappuccino and shut the fo-que up!’” Judd Apatow declared.

Judd Apatow has been outspoken about his feelings about the Bill Cosby scandal for some time.

In a recent conversation with Whoopi Goldberg–who previously believed Bill Cosby to be innocent–he convinced the co-host of The View to change her stance on the issue.

Did you catch Judd Apatow on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon earlier this week?

What is your take on his Bill Cosby-bashing stand up routine?

  • ‘Saved by the Bell’ Star Dustin Diamond Receives Four Month Jail Sentence for Stabbing

Saved by the Bell star Dustin Diamond was sentenced on Thursday to four months is jail for stabbing a man during a bar brawl back on January 1st. A judge ordered him to report to jail on Sunday. In addition to his jail sentence he received 15 months of probation.

The bar fight reportedly started when a woman bumped into the Saved by the Bell star’s girlfriend. From that point an all-out brawl ensued, with a knife being pulled, and Diamond and injuring Casey Smet.

“Before the altercation, I was not bleeding or stabbed. After the altercation, I was,” Smet said in court.

“I sincerely apologize to everyone involved,” Dustin Diamond said at the hearing Thursday. “This was the single most terrifying experience of my life. This is all I’ve been able to think about for the last six months.”

Back in May, the once-popular actor known as Screech was convicted of two misdemeanors in connection with the stabbing. He was convicted of carrying a concealed weapon–the knife with which he stabbed Casey Smet–and for disorderly conduct. He was cleared of a felony charge of recklessly endangering public safety.

Several members of Saved by the Bell got together on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon back in early February. Dustin Diamond was not among them.

It’s interesting to see how some members of the Saved by the Bell Cast–like Mario Lopez and Mark-Paul Gosselaar have gone on to have successful entertainment careers–while Dustin Diamond’s days in the industry are long since over.

It’s unlikely, in light of his jail sentence, that talent agents will want to sign him any time soon.

  • Liam Neeson: Seth MacFarlane Does Spot-On Impersonation of ‘Taken’ Actor on ‘Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon’

Liam Neeson is known for his thick brogue and low-pitched tone in films like Taken. If you turned on your TV to The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon on Monday night, but didn’t watch the screen, you’d have sworn Liam Neeson was his guest at one point.

Alas Liam Neeson wasn’t anywhere near The Tonight Show on Monday. Instead, Seth MacFarlane, who was on the show promoting his upcoming film Ted 2, was was playing an impressions game with Jimmy Fallon. He was asked to do an impression of Liam Neeson as a Time Warner Cable guy.

The result was nothing short of hilarious.

“I have a very particular set of channels,” MacFarlane growled in his gravelly Neeson brogue. “If you’d like to purchase these channels, I’ll come to your house and install your cable, and that will be the end of it. If you don’t, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.”

In addition to Liam Neeson, Seth MacFarlane also did great impressions of Bobcat Goldthwait ordering a beverage at Starbucks, as well as Ray Romano–before which he said he needed to ‘work up enough phlegm’ to sound like the Everybody Loves Raymond and Parenthood star.

Jimmy Fallon did what he decided was a failed impression of Jerry Seinfeld dishing about Uber. Then he and Seth MacFarlane engaged in dueling Pee-Wee Herman impersonations.

Did you happen to catch Seth MacFarlane and Jimmy Fallon–and their hilarious impersonations–on The Tonight Show Monday?

Even if Liam Neeson wasn’t watching, you can be sure the actor has seen a clip of MacFarlane’s spot-on impersonation of him by now.

  • Jimmy Fallon Honors David Letterman on ‘The Tonight Show’

Jimmy Fallon was serious for a few minutes on Monday night’s episode of The Tonight Show. He wanted to honor David Letterman, who is signing off from his Late Show on Wednesday night.

CBS News reports that Jimmy Fallon even got a little teary-eyed when lauding the man who–for more than a year–was his biggest TV competition.

“I, like every kid who grew up watching him, will miss him,” Fallon said, noting that one of his teachers once told him he was going to grow up and replace David Letterman.

The most serious aspect of Jimmy Fallon’s tribute came as he recalled David Letterman’s words during The Late Show’s first night back on the air following the terrorist attacks on 9/11.

“The city was in shock, and we’re all looking for answers, and we wanted to see what Dave had to say and we looked at him to say something,” Fallon told his audience. “He said, ‘There’s only one requirement for any of us, and that’s to be courageous, because courage, as you might know, defines all other human behavior.’”

“David Letterman is courageous,” Jimmy Fallon added. “Have a nice retirement, Dave!”

If you missed The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon on Monday night, check out Fallon’s tribute to David Letterman below.

David Letterman’s last official guest will be Bill Murray on Tuesday night. Wednesday’s show will feature several network surprises as Letterman signs off for good after more than three decades on TV.

  • Jimmy Fallon Hosts ‘Pitch Perfect 2’ Stars Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson

Jimmy Fallon hosted two of the Pitch Perfect 2 cast members this week. Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson both appeared on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, promoting their film that premieres in theaters nationwide today.

On Tuesday, Anna Kendrick became the first female star to ever compete against Jimmy Fallon in an epic game of Egg Russian Roulette.

Anna Kendrick was all dressed up to promote her film, but vowed she’d mess up her look to play the gooey game.

Announcer Steve Higgins addressed both Jimmy Fallon and Anna Kendrick prior to the game.

“Here in my hand I have one dozen eggs,” Higgins said. “Eight of them have been hard-boiled, four of them are still raw, uncooked, untainted by fire. You and Anna will take turns selecting one egg at a time — uno ovum — and smash them upon the top of your head. You won’t know which eggs are raw and which are hard-boiled. Once you choose, you may not unchoose. You must smash that egg upon your head. First one to smash two raw eggs on their head loses.”

“You are actually the first woman to play this game and dare play this game,” Jimmy Fallon told her. “You called it, I was like, ‘You wanna call me out? Let’s do it, girlfriend.’”

“You know why? You know why?” Kendrick shot back, successfully smashing her second hard-boiled egg. “Cause I’ve got… eggs… It makes sense.”

Check out the sportsmanship involved in Egg Russian Roulette, and see whether Jimmy Fallon or Anna Kendrick won by watching the clip below.

The next night–Tuesday–Jimmy Fallon hosted Rebel Wilson from Pitch Perfect 2. He challenged her to his popular Whisper Challenge game.

Rebel Wilson donned her headphones and Jimmy Fallon spoke the first phrase at her–which she, of course, coudn’t hear. Wilson, however, didn’t quite manage to guess the correct phrase (“deflated balls”).

“Feel my balls?” she asked, causing Jimmy Fallon to burst into laughter. He tried again.

“I’m still getting feel my balls!” she said to Fallon, who couldn’t stop cracking up.

The Whisper Challenge is always one of Jimmy Fallon’s most hilarious games.

It was indeed a fun week watching The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon as he hosted these Pitch Perfect 2 stars. Seeing how funny both Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson are will no doubt prompt even more people to catch them in theaters this weekend in their latest film.

  • India Carney Leaves ‘The Voice’ Ahead of Finals, Christina Aguilera Doesn’t Win This Season

India Carney went home from The Voice on Tuesday night, just ahead of this season’s finals. India’s departure means Coach Christina Aguilera won’t win this season of The Voice, as some had predicted earlier in the season.

Tuesday night found five contestants left on The Voice. Team Blake–coached by Blake Shelton–saw Meghan Linsey vying for her spot in the finals. Pharrell Williams was left with both Koryn Hawthorne and Sawyer Fredericks–both of whom are moving on to the finals. Adam Levine still has Joshua Davis in the competition.

Sawyer Fredericks was the first contestant saved by America’s votes on Tuesday night’s show–followed by Meghan Linsey. Joshua Davis was the last save, meaning Koryn Hawthorne and India Carney both performed for the Twitter save.

Fans tweeted to save Koryn Hawthorne, meaning India Carney said goodbye to her time on The Voice.

India Carney is a classically trained singer, and is a student at UCLA’s music program. She and her classmates formed a band that once played a gig opening for The Roots–the band featured on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.

There is no question that–even though India Carney has left The Voice–her future as a singer is beyond bright. It will be a shock if a producer doesn’t scoop her up in the coming weeks and offer her some sort of deal.

Were you shocked to see India Carney voted off The Voice last night? Did you expect it would be Koryn Hawthorne to go home instead?

  • Michelle Obama, Jimmy Fallon: ‘Evolution of Mom Dancing, Part 2’ Hits the ‘Tonight Show’

Michelle Obama, Jimmy Fallon: ‘Evolution of Mom Dancing, Part 2’ Hits the ‘Tonight Show’

Michelle Obama returned this week as a guest on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, and she and Fallon reprised their hilarious roles as mom dancers in ‘The Evolution of Mom Dancing–Part 2.’

It was two years ago when the first lady took the stage for her maiden voyage into mom dancing. She and Jimmy Fallon had people around the country talking and laughing about the sketch for weeks.

Jimmy Fallon no doubt knew that having Michelle Obama back on his show meant a reprisal of their mom dancing roles.

Fallon wore the same wig, stuffed bra, white t-shirt, pink cardigan sweater, and khaki pants that he donned for their 2013 dance off. Michelle Obama showed him up just a bit, wearing black slacks, a gingham top, and a pink sweater.

Michelle Obama and Jimmy Fallon performed the following dance moves:

    • The “Shimmy Twist”
    • The “Shush and Tush”
    • The “Knock Knock”
    • The “Getting a Bag From Your Collection of Plastic Bags Under the Sink”
    • The “You Go, Girl!”
    • The “This Ol’ Thing? I Got It at Talbots”
    • The “I Can Still Do This Dance Because My Arms Are in Shape”
    • The “Can We Turn the AC Up?”
    • The “One Move Behind in Zumba Class”
    • The “No One’s Looking (Just Makin’ Sure)”
    • The “Trying to Start a Conga Line”
    • The “Oh My God, I Didn’t Know You Were Coming Here!”
    • The “Barack Obama”
    • The “Jimmy Fallon”

The “Barack Obama” drew a hilarious look on behalf of Michelle Obama in Jimmy Fallon’s direction.

Fallon and the first lady have pulled this off with such finesse that there will no doubt be an ‘Evolution of Mom Dancing–Part 3.’ Do you expect they can fit this in before President Obama leaves office?

Here’s the original ‘Mom Dancing’ clip from 2013.

Do you think Michelle Obama and Jimmy Fallon have improved as ‘Mom Dancers’ in the past couple of years?

  • ‘Saved by the Bell’ Cast Visits With Jimmy Fallon on ‘Tonight Show’

Saved by the Bell was among the most popular TV shows of the very late 1980s and the early 1990s. The show’s cast–minus Dustin Diamond, who played the role of Screech–recreated a hilarious sketch during a reunion of sorts on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday.

Characters Kelly Kapowski (played by Tiffani Thiessen), A.C. Slater (played by Mario Lopez) and Jessie Spano (played by Elizabeth Berkley) set the scene with talk of an upcoming Valentine’s Day dance. The gang is bummed, however, when their new friend Jimmy (played, of course, by Jimmy Fallon) won’t be attending the dance, because he is planning to head to New York City to try out for a role on Saturday Night Live. Jimmy adds that he might even work toward hosting his own talk show and that he wants to go on a date with Nicole Kidman. Kidman recently floored Jimmy Fallon (in real life–not the Saved by the Bell sketch) when she told him a get-together the two had at his apartment many years earlier was actually a date. He apparently didn’t dress appropriately and played video games part of the time she was visiting, thinking she was just a pal stopping by.

Jimmy Fallon fit in with the cast of Saved by the Bell perfectly, and it’s actually quite amazing how many of the cast members haven’t aged much since the show’s last episode in 1993. Mario Lopez still most resembles his younger self, but Tiffani Thiessen, A.C. Slater, and Elizabeth Berkley are looking rather ageless as well.

If you missed The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night, you missed a great show. The Saved by the Bell cast reunion was no doubt a huge treat for those who followed the show more than two decades ago.

  • Jimmy Fallon, Will Ferrell, Kevin Hart: Lip Sync Battle

Jimmy Fallon, Will Ferrell, and Kevin Hart teamed up on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon this weekend in the second best battle after Sunday’s Super Bowl. The three competed with one another in a long-awaited lip synch battle. Fallon has touted the match on his show for weeks, and on Sunday night fans were treated to this epic competition. Now lip synching might not seem like a big deal–especially to those who have never attempted it. But more than simply mouthing the words, top notch lip synchers incorporate emotion and some impressive body moves, too.

Will Ferrell grabbed the fake mic and delivered what can only be called a writhing rendition of Beyonce’s hit “Drunk in Love.” He also belted out Idina Menzel’s “Let It Go.” Ferrell had some pretty stiff competition in the form of Kevin Hart, however, who bought tears to his everyone’s eyes as he movingly lip synched John Legend’s hit ballad, “All of Me.” He paid homage to the Super Bowl half time performer by doing Katy Perry’s “Roar,” too.

Jimmy Fallon may have actually cheated a bit. In addition to lip synching the “Dirty Dancing” theme song, “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life,” he brought a secret guest on stage to lip synch with him. Fallon had Drew Barrymore waiting in the wings to assist him in the competition. Fallon also performed Kelly Clarkson’s “Since U Been Gone.”

    So who won the competition?

According to popular belief, Will Ferrell won for “Drunk in Love.”

Did you check out Jimmy Fallon, Will Ferrell, and Kevin Hart duking it out in their lip synch battle? Jimmy Fallon loves to lip synch. Fans are likely looking forward to the next time he issues a challenge to do so on The Tonight Show.

That wasn’t all Jimmy Fallon did for musical fun on Sunday night’s show either. He and Carrie Underwood, Sam Smith, Ariana Grande, Blake Shelton, Usher, Meghan Trainor, One Direction, Christina Aguilera and, of course, his house band The Roots, joined together to perform a rendition of Queen’s “We Are the Champions” to congratulation Super Bowl champions, the New England Patriots.

That will be a hard show to follow. Jimmy Fallon and his cast and crew will do The Tonight Show live from L.A. from Monday through Friday of this week.

  • Carrie Underwood Releases New Music Video, ‘Little Toy Guns’

Carrie Underwood is pregnant with her first baby, but that hasn’t kept her from making new music, and sharing that music with her fans. Underwood released a new music video for ‘Little Toy Guns’ with her fans last week.

‘Little Toy Guns’ is about how words can deeply wound children. Carrie Underwood talked about its meaning during a recent interview.

“It’s about words. It’s about a child hearing her parents fighting,” Underwood explained. “Even at a young age she realizes how much they hurt. And she wishes they were plastic and fake, like toys, and they didn’t actually cause any damage.”

The video shows a child sitting in her room by herself as she hears her mother screaming at her father.

“What do you have to say for yourself? Do you even care? It makes me sick to my stomach. I can’t believe I married you,” the wife screams at her husband.

The music video premiered on Friday via Carried Underwood’s Facebook page.

In true Carrie Underwood fashion, the emotion in this new music video runs as high as her singing talent.

In other Carrie Underwood news, the country singer appeared on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, helping perform Queen’s ‘We Are the Champions’ along with Fallon, The Roots, Sam Smith, Ariana Grande, Blake Shelton, Usher, Meghan Trainor, One Direction, and Christina Aguilera. The a cappella version was re-written in congratulations to the New England Patriots for winning the Super Bowl on Sunday.

Are you a Carrie Underwood fan? What do you think of her new music video? Does ‘Little Toy Guns‘ not tug at your heart strings?

  • Julianna Margulies Dishes on Her Emmy Award, Josh Charles, and Vices

Julianna Margulies Dishes on Her Emmy Award, Josh Charles, and Vices

Julianna Margulies, who stars as lawyer Alicia Florrick on CBS’s The Good Wife, spoke with People recently and shared “one last thing.”

The 48-year-old Emmy-winner said she’s not someone who spends a lot of time resting on her laurels. In fact, Margulies said the attention makes her a little too uncomfortable.

She told People the last time she looked at her Emmy Award was “when I was doing the press rounds after I won.

“I haven’t really seen it much since then,” she admitted. “I was embarrassed by the attention. I wanted to deflect it. It was too much!”

It was quite the shocker for The Good Wife fans when Josh Charles‘ character, Will, was killed off last season. Margulies said the last time she told her former co-star she missed him was just before Labor Day weekend.

“I was sitting in court, and one of our recurring judges, Brooks, makes me laugh so hard. I’ll never say his last name [Ashmanskas] right; he’s a friend of Josh’s. I was texting Josh saying, ‘I miss you so much, I can’t believe you’re not here laughing with me right now,’” she recalled.

Margulies said that last advice she was given came from her parents, who told her, “Honey, you must rest.”

It seems the actress does try to take some time for some rest and relaxation and enjoys indulging with family and friends.

“This past weekend we had some friends up at our house [with husband Keith Lieberthal] in the country,” she said. “I cooked a huge steak dinner, and we had the best red wine. I don’t regret it.’

Meanwhile, Margulies made an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and performed a hilarious skit with the late night host. The duo channeled their best high school administrator personas and presented “Monday Morning Announcements.”

  • Chris Christie: Jimmy Fallon Helps Him Dance Past Bridge Scandal

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie appeared to use Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon and a whole lot of humor to help him move past his recent bridge scandal. The governor appeared on the late night show on Thursday night and poked fun at himself while garnering loads of laughs from the audience. Since then a video of Christie dancing with Jimmy Fallon has gone viral, adding even more laughter–as well as a few unsavory comments–to the mix.

The potential Republican presidential contender can actually dance. And he did so in an effort to show off dorky dad dances while wearing his pleated khaki pants and a polo shirt. The comedy bit called ‘The Evolution of Dad Dancing’ even featured a portion called ‘This Bridge is Closed,’ during which Chris Christie appears to walk off stage for good, leaving Jimmy Fallon doing his dad dance solo. However the jovial governor returns to finish the dance and to chat with Fallon, too.

During their conversation Chris Christie said the dance sketch was no doubt far more humiliating to his family than the entire bridge lane closing scandal “because I actually did that.”

It took only minutes for videos of Christie’s appearance on The Tonight Show to start flying around the Internet. The website Gawker said the governor danced “like a buffoon that makes you want to scrub your eyes with bleach.” Business Insider said the video would “blow your mind.”

The governor’s office eagerly promoted the appearance, and almost immediately sent out a news release to the media on Friday that read, “The Gov & Fallon Dance, Dish, And All Around Embarrass The Kids on The Tonight Show.”

Mike DuHaime is Chris Christie’s campaign strategist. He says his appearance on The Tonight Show showed the governor as a “down-to-earth” guy who can have fun at his own expense. He doesn’t believe it can hurt him at all should he actually throw his hat in the ring as a presidential candidate.

“I think the fact that he has got a sense of humor, I think people appreciate that,” DuHaime said. “I think he was out there enjoying it, and if somebody wants to attack his dancing for political reasons, so be it. I’m not too worried about that.”

Comments on Governor Christie’s dance ran the gamut between outright praise and downright disgust on his Facebook page.

“I watched this on Jimmy Fallon last night. I loved it, and yes you CAN dance. I enjoyed it so much that I watched it a few more times on here. Good luck in 2016!!!” one follower wrote.

“I have to question your judgment for appearing on that stupid skit with The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. You gave your political enemies the ammunition they will need to humiliate you as a serious presidential candidate. Actions speak louder than words,” another wrote.

As with anyone in public office, Chris Christie will have those who love him and those who hate him. And if he truly is considering that run for the Republican nomination, he’d best develop an even thicker skin. The ability to laugh at oneself is always a plus in any kind of situation. And since his performance with Jimmy Fallon everyone can plainly see he doesn’t lack anything in that arena.

  • Jimmy Fallon Hangs With Matt Harvey at Stanley Cup Finals

Jimmy Fallon hung out with NY Mets’ pitcher Matt Harvey at Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals on Monday night and the two got silly on Instagram following their fun. The injured New York Mets star and the late night funny man joked back and forth on Twitter as well.

As Yahoo! Sports points out, this is the first time Matt Harvey has appeared on Twitter in about six weeks since he famously flipped off his upcoming Tommy John surgery and axed his account. It’s back now, however.

During his recuperation time Harvey has grown a beard and Jimmy Fallon had a good time ribbing him about it–even calling him Joaquin Phoenix in one of their social media conversations. Harvey started it, of course, saying first that he was sitting next to Jimmy Kimmel instead of Jimmy Fallon (he, of course, was kidding) and that ‘Kimmel’ didn’t recognize him–because of the beard.

Jimmy Fallon’s tweet included a link to the following Instagram photo.

Fallon captioned the photo with his Twitter comment.

Mets fans didn’t take kindly to seeing their pitcher taking in the Stanley Cup Finals and thought he should be at home recuperating instead.

It will be fun to see if Jimmy Fallon brings up the tweets and the Instagram shot on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. The guy is a genius at using social media to further his comedic causes.

  • David Letterman Announces Retirement

The announcement is sad but true.

David Letterman will be retiring from hosting Late Night With David Letterman. The somewhat surprising news was announced during a taping of his show today.

The final episode of Late Night will air sometime in 2015.

“I just want to reiterate my thanks for the support from the network, all of the people who have worked here, all of the people in the theater, all the people on the staff, everybody at home, thank you very much,” the 66-year-old said after breaking the news to his audience.

Letterman is the longest serving late night host in television history.

Celebrity fans broadcasted their thoughts to Twitter in response to Letterman’s decision to leave Late Night.

Witty writer and actress Lena Dunham dedicated three tweets to Letterman. As usual, they were fairly entertaining.

It’s believed that the longtime host made the decision to leave so he could spend more quality time with his family.

Jimmy Fallon recently took over Jay Leno’s hosting spot on the Tonight Show after he finally decided to retire. While we’re all digging Fallon’s goofy antics, it’s hard to imagine someone else filling in for Letterman.

Who do you think Letterman will choose to fill his late night shoes? Does Jimmy Kimmel have a shot at the gig?

Leave your comments below and stay turned for more updates on who will be chosen for the coveted spot.
