  • Leonardo DiCaprio: Unofficial Poster Boy for Girl Scout Cookies

Leonardo DiCaprio is likely convincing lots of people to buy Girl Scout Cookies, and he might not even realize it.

During the Oscars, when host Kevin Hart sold Girl Scout Cookies for his daughter’s troop, Leonardo DiCaprio dished out. The Revenant star then proceeded to eat up.

An Oscars viewer captured this shot of Leonardo DiCaprio about to indulge in his purchase.

One very clever Girl Scout–a nine-year-old named Molly–created a poster of Leonardo DiCaprio and his cookies, using wording akin to the recent “Be Like Bill” memes that have inundated Facebook in recent weeks.

  • Leonardo DiCaprio’s Stepbrother On The Run After Missing Court Appearance For Theft

Leonardo DiCaprio’s Stepbrother On The Run After Missing Court Appearance For Theft

Leonardo DiCaprio’s stepbrother is considered on the run after he failed to show up for a court appearance.

According to International Business Times, police have launched a manhunt for 44-year-old Adam Farrar.

A former actor from Hollywood, Califirnia, DeCaprio’s stepbrother has had a history with drug addiction and was arrested in January with his partner Charity Moore for allegedly trying to steal good worth $990.

Police officers issued a warrant for his arrest and their bail has been set at $3,000 for when they are caught.

A family source said that Farrar, whose mother Peggy married Leo’s father when he was one, would soon find himself back in jail if he continues to run away from responsibilities.

“He’s struggled before with drugs and although he makes promises to get clean, he gets caught up in something else,” a source told the The Sun. “Leo is sympathetic but this is the latest in a long line of offenses and he’s at the end of his tether. He got fed up with Adam asking to borrow money and not paying it back. No one knows where Adam and Charity have gone.”

After appearing in commercials, Farrar began starring in a string of movie and TV shows in the 1980s. He is best known for his roles in the 1980s science fiction series Battlestar Galactica and the ABC comedy-drama Eight is Enough.

Leonardo DiCaprio took home the best actor award last week for his leading role in survival drama, The Revenant. The Sun also reports that Farrar helped inspire DiCaprio to venture into acting himself.

  • Leonardo DiCaprio: Russian Lookalike Posts Spoof Photos Depicting “The Revenant,” Winning an Oscar

Leonardo DiCaprio has a lookalike in the Russian army. The photo of the man–Roman Burtsev–made headlines in January. Since then, Burtsev has clearly had lots of fun impersonating Leonardo DiCaprio–sharing photos of made up scenes from The Revenant and pretending to win an Oscar.

It’s really uncanny how closely this man resembles Leonardo DiCaprio. He weighs more than the handsome star of The Revenant, however, and is often referred to as “fat Leo” or “fat Leonardo DiCaprio.”

  • Matt Damon To Leo DiCaprio: This Is How You Make A Movie

Matt Damon used the podium at the Director’s Guild Awards to poke a little fun at his co-nominee for Best Actor at this year’s Academy Awards, Leonardo DiCaprio.

Matt Damon said, “Every night at six o’clock, the horn blew and Ridley [Scott] and I went to dinner. And that’s how you make a movie, and we finished the film really early and we saved two million bucks. And Leo – we weren’t cold at all. I’m just sayin’. There’s another way to do it.”

Matt Damon was referring to the dangerous and harsh conditions Leonardo DiCaprio, as well as the cast and crew, endured while filming The Revenant.

The Revenant was filmed in cold and snow-covered Canadian wilderness. DiCaprio, a strict vegan, even had to eat raw liver for the role.

Solve one problem, then the next. If you solve enough problems, you get to come home. #MotivationMonday #TheMartian

A photo posted by The Martian (@martianmovie) on

Matt Damon’s filming situation for The Martian was definitely more comfortable.

While Matt Damon seemed to have had an easy time filming The Martian, he is struggling a little to get his new movie, The Great Wall, to the big screen.

It was originally set to open this November, but has been rescheduled for President’s Day weekend 2017.

The Great Wall, which stars Matt Damon, Pedro Pascal, Tian Jing, Andy Lau and Willem Dafoe will be directed by House of Flying Daggers‘ Zhang Yimou.

While Matt Damon’s comments to Leonardo DiCaprio seemed mean, DiCaprio and The Revenant‘s director, Alejandro González Iñárritu, reportedly laughed along with him.

What do you think about Matt Damon’s comparative comments?

  • George Clooney Slammed by Gerard Depardieu at Berlin Film Festival

George Clooney was slammed on Friday by actor Gerard Depardieu at the Berlin Film Festival. The French actor, who stars in a new film called Saint Amour, in which he plays a bull farmer, noted during a post-screening press conference for his film that George Clooney recently met with German Chancellor Angela Merkel. The two met to discuss the refugee crisis.

“I saw that Mr George Clooney wanted to see Mrs Merkel. I worry that it went badly,” Depardieu said at the press conference.

“It’s good that now you can be an actor and a ecologist and a politician, you can do everything,” he added.

In addition to slamming George Clooney, Gerard Depardieu also had nothing good to say about Leonardo DiCaprio’s film The Revenant.

“That’s a bit different from what you get in general in cinema at the moment,” he said, referring to the gritty setting for the film and reports that the actors had to work in very uncomfortable conditions.

“Because if I take the Oscars, The Revenant, with the production crew behind and the heating (on set) and all that ‘go and cover yourself in shit,’ but I’m sure the ‘shit’ is perfumed–and you’re in this mud, which is perfumed and isn’t cold, it’s heated,” Depardieu said.

The one question that likely comes to most people’s minds after learning of Gerard Depardieu’s bashing of both George Clooney and The Revenant is twofold. Who asked him? And who really cares what he thinks?

Gerard Depardieu hasn’t done much that’s noteworthy since appearing in The Green Card and Cyrano de Bergerac–films that hit theaters decades ago.

Most people would laud George Clooney for meeting with Angela Merkel and trying to find a way to alleviate the refugee crisis situation.

Might Depardieu be a bit jealous of the actor?

What’s your take on Gerard Depardieu lashing out at both George Clooney and The Revenant? Who or what might be next on his list of candidates for bashing?

  • Leonardo DiCaprio Wins Big At BAFTAs 2016, Makes Touching Tribute To His Mom

Leonardo DiCaprio is clearly on a mission to earn his first Oscar with the modern western, The Revenant, and he’s earned another accolade along the way.

On Valentine’s Day, DiCaprio and other people behind the film collected multiple honors at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts or BAFTA Award, which was held at the historic Royal Opera House in London.

The BAFTAs – considered by many to be the UK version of the Oscars – not only named Leonardo DiCaprio as Best Actor, but also named The Revenant as the Best Film of the Year. Mexican director Alejandro González Iñárritu also received an award for Best Director.

Prior to the BAFTAs, the 41-year-old Titanic star also nabbed Best Actor honors from the Golden Globes and the Screen Actors Guild. Critics are already predicting that he will go on to take the much-coveted Oscar, judging by the film’s critical and commercial success.

Other big winners at the BAFTAs include Brie Larson, who won Best Actress for her performance in the Canadian-Irish drama Room; Mark Rylance as Best Supporting Actor for his role in Bridge of Spies; and Kate Winslet as Best Supporting Actress for her role in Steve Jobs.

Leonardo DiCaprio, who has never won a BAFTA before, acknowledged his fellow actors and thanked the people who inspired him to endure the arduous film-making process.

He also paid tribute to his mother, who was celebrating her birthday on the night of the awarding ceremony.

“I didn’t grow up in a life of privilege, I grew up in a very rough neighborhood in East Los Angeles. This woman drove me three hours a day to a different school to show me a different opportunity,” DiCaprio said. “It’s her birthday today, mom happy birthday. I love you very much.”

Leonardo DiCaprio Honors His Mom in this Touching Speech

Apart from racking up awards, Leonardo DiCaprio also won a bid to participate in a Mongolian expedition with Swedish “environmental explorer” Johan Ernst Nilson. The actor dropped an impressive $95,000 to embark on a 10-day journey in which he and other adventurers will explore Lake Hovsgol, the largest freshwater lake in Mongolia.

  • Leonardo DiCaprio Takes Home Best Actor Award at BAFTAs

Leonardo DiCaprio is having quite a year where awards and nominations are concerned. This weekend he was named best actor at the BAFTAs in London for his role in The Revenant.

During his acceptance speech at London’s Royal Opera House, Leonardo DiCaprio thanked his mother, as well as others in the business.

“As an actor I’ve been influenced by so many British actors. I want to thank one particular British actor and that is Mr Tom Hardy,” he said.

“Of course, Alejandro, thank you for becoming a great friend,” he added, lauding the director of The Revenant, Alejandro G. Inarritu.

Leonardo DiCaprio beat out Brit Eddie Redmayne, who was nominated for his role in The Danish Girl. He also beat out Michael Fassbender, Matt Damon, and Bryan Cranston.

The award for best actor wasn’t DiCaprio’s only honor at the BAFTAs. His film, The Revenant, was named best film, with Alejandro G. Inarritu receiving the award for best director.

Leonardo DiCaprio was a big winner at last month’s Golden Globes, too, and is favored to win big at the upcoming Oscars.

Have you yet checked out The Revenant, starring Leonardo DiCaprio? If so, it likely doesn’t surprise you to learn he is winning all these prestigious awards.

  • Kate Winslet Not Boycotting Oscars, Plans to Support Leonardo DiCaprio

Kate Winslet is just one of many actors who won’t boycott the upcoming Oscars. Instead she plans to attend, in support of all the women who were nominated, as well as her Titanic co-star Leonardo DiCaprio.

“To be honest with you, it has been such an extraordinary year for women, I’d feel like I was letting my side down if I didn’t go,” she said in a recent interview with the BBC. “And also I feel very strongly that it may possibly be Leo’s year. And he is my closest friend in the world, and I just couldn’t imagine not being there to support him.”

Kate Winslet is an Oscar nominee, too. She was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Steve Jobs.

Winslet won a Golden Globe for her role in Steve Jobs. She was shocked by the win, saying she was concentrating on Leonardo DiCaprio instead of herself.

“I was shocked!” she said. “To be honest with you, [it was] because I’ve been so focused on Leo and him winning everything and being so excited for him.”

The first person Leonardo DiCaprio hugged when he won his SAG Award was Kate Winslet.

The Oscars could be a big night for DiCaprio. Nominated for his role in The Revenant, he is favored to win.

Jada Pinkett Smith called for an Oscars boycott after nominations were announced and–for the second year in a row–all the nominees were white.

Are you surprised to learn Kate Winslet isn’t boycotting this year’s Oscars? Do you expect that might be the case with many actors as well?

  • “The Revenant’s” Glen Ennis: What Part Did He Play in the Leonardo DiCaprio Film?

The Revenant stars Leonardo DiCaprio, and has earned him many accolades since it premiered on the big screen.

Glen Ennis played a huge role in The Revenant, too.

    Who?

Glen Ennis is a stuntman who played the bear that attacked Leonardo DiCaprio in The Revenant. That’s right–that bear wasn’t real.

“There was no bear ever on set,” Ennis, 51, said in a recent interview with Global News. “The closest a bear ever got to set [that we know of] was at the Calgary Zoo.”

“In rehearsals, I would wear a blue suit with a bear head,” Glen Ennis explains. “Obviously that [suit] doesn’t make it into the film, and the CGI guys paint the bear in. Alejandro [González Iñárritu] was adamant that the blue bear moved just like a real bear would move, and it was essential that it had the same nuances that a bear would have. Even though it was a big Smurf bear, it still had to be as authentic as possible.”

Ennis studied many bear videos online in order to make the attack on Leonardo DiCaprio appear real.

“It was his stunt double who rehearsed most of the time, but he stepped in and rehearsed a bit because there were so many parts to this big sequence that had to be learned,” Ennis says. “You couldn’t chew it in pieces, it had to be shot all at once. Leo was around somewhat, but a lot of my work was with the stunt double until we started shooting.”

Glen Annis wound up spending a lot of time up close and personal with The Revenant star’s derriere.

“That’s the funniest thing – if you notice the bear head in the picture, they wanted the bear mouth to be right on his lower back,” he explains. “I was supposed to grab his jacket with my hand to make it look like the bear’s jaws were pulling it. In order to have the bear’s jaw in the small of his back, basically my face was in his butt.”

“My face was in Leo’s butt for a fair bit of time. I can see how that’s someone’s fantasy, but it wasn’t mine!” Ennis adds.

Did you know the bear in The Revenant wasn’t real? Glenn Ennis says he had no idea the bear attack would be such a huge part of the film.

“When I was doing it, I had no idea that the bear scene was going to be such an integral part of it,” he shares with Global News. “It was hard, sweaty work for me. And now that it’s turned into what it’s turned into, I’m incredibly proud of the work. I’m a small part–obviously the geniuses who made it look as good as they did with the CGI deserve credit–but it’s still pretty cool to be a part of it.”

If you’ve seen The Revenant, you certainly realize Glen Ennis’s part was anything but small.

  • Leonardo DiCaprio: Check Out These Two People Who Closely Resemble “The Revenant” Star

Leonardo DiCaprio has a unique look. It’s part of what’s made him a Hollywood heart throb for decades.

Despite his signature features, it seems there are a few people–unrelated to Leonardo DiCaprio–who very closely resemble The Revenant star.

Just over a week ago, a Russian news organization tweeted a photo of a man who looks a lot like Leonardo DiCaprio. Has Leo been hanging out in Russia?

Very late in 2015, the internet was all abuzz about a young man from Sweden who looks eerily similar to Leonardo DiCaprio when he was a younger man.

People magazine reports that Leonardo DiCaprio has another doppelganger, too. They say reporters believe Kate Hudson’s son Ryder, who is 12, bears an uncanny resemblance to Leo. Reporters took notice of him when he, along with his mom and younger brother, recently walked the red carpet for the Hollywood premiere of Kung Fu Panda 3.

How do you suppose Leonardo DiCaprio feels knowing there are several people who very closely mirror his image?

Do you expect he’s likely way too busy to even care?

  • Kate Winslet Believes Leonardo DiCaprio Will Win Oscar for “The Revenant”

Kate Winslet is a firm believer that her Titanic costar, Leonardo DiCaprio, will take home the Best Actor Oscar for his role in The Revenant.

It was while speaking at the London Critics’ Circle Film Awards this weekend Winslet said she thinks even Leonardo DiCaprio believes he will win the Oscar.

“I honestly would be surprised if it isn’t (Leonardo’s year) which would be amazing,” she told Sky News.

“I mean he is up against my friend Michael Fassbender who was obviously in Steve Jobs and played Steve Jobs. Michael gives such an extraordinary performance and I was there watching him work every day,” Kate Winslet said.

“But I think that Michael himself actually can feel as well that it is possibly going to be Leo’s year and he’s, like everyone, such a huge admirer of Leo.”

“So I’d be very surprised if it doesn’t happen finally for him,” she shared.

Leonardo DiCaprio has never won an Oscar. Critics have praised his role as the fur trapper in The Revenant enough that others have taken notice, too, even if they haven’t yet seen the film.

Kate Winslet is up for an Oscar, too. She was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Joanna Hoffman in Steve Jobs.

Have you seen Leonardo DiCaprio in The Revenant? Do you agree with Kate Winslet that he is likely to win the Oscar for Best Actor?

  • “The Danish Girl” Could Mean Second Oscar for Eddie Redmayne

The Danish Girl has provided Eddie Redmayne with yet another opportunity to win an Oscar. The Theory of Everything star took home the Oscar for Best Actor last year, for his role as Professor Stephen Hawking. He has now been nominated in the same category again.

The biggest question about this nomination for The Danish Girl, is can it beat out The Revenant? Leonardo DiCaprio was nominated for the same category as Eddie Redmayne. The Revenant was a big winner at the Golden Globes.

The Danish Girl received a total of four Oscar nods. In addition to Eddie Redmayne’s Best Actor nomination, Alicia Vikander was nominated in the Best Supporting Actress category. The Danish Girl also received Oscar nominations for Best Costume Design and Best Production Design.

The Danish Girl tells the story of Lili Elbe and Gerda Wegener. Elbe–played by Eddie Redmayne–was one of the first known transgender people to undergo sex reassignment surgery.

Do you think Eddie Redmayne can beat out Leonardo DiCaprio in a big victory for The Danish Girl?

  • Kelly Rohrbach, Leonardo DiCaprio Call It Quits After Several Months of Dating–Rohrbach Lands “Baywatch” Role

Kelly Rohrbach and Leonardo DiCaprio have called it quits. The couple–she is a Sports Illustrated model and aspiring actress and he, of course, is the renown Leonardo DiCaprio–dated for several months before opting to go their separate ways.

Us Weekly reports the two are “taking a break,” but as anyone who knows relationships understands–that’s pleasant lingo for an unpleasant situation.

A source tells the publication, “They’ve been broken up for over a month. It was mutual. They both have intense work schedules and a lot going on in their lives right now. They both needed to take a break because of that. They are still friends and talking but it’s over.”

Kelly Rohrbach was just one of several gorgeous girls flaunted on Leonardo DiCaprio’s arm over many years. He dated Gisele Bundchen (before she dated and then married Tom Brady), Erin Heatherton, Bar Rafaeli, Toni Garrn, and actress Blake Lively.

The Revenant star and Kelly Rohrbach were first spotted together in June in New York City at a CFDA Awards after party. Since then they’ve been seen at the US Open in September–also in New York City. The last time the two were seen as a couple was at Thanksgiving.

This split from Kelly Rohrbach means Leonardo DiCaprio will walk the red carpets at several upcoming awards shows as a single man. The 41-year-old is quite the prospect for single ladies of all ages. Kelly Rohrbach is a very sexy 25, and has just landed Pamela Anderson’s role in the upcoming Baywatch movie.

Who do you suppose might link arms with the handsome actor next, now that he and Kelly Rohrbach have called it quits?
