  • Kim Kardashian: From Platinum Blonde to White Hair

Kim Kardashian made news last week for dying her brunette tresses platinum blonde. Now she has dyed her hair yet again, and this time it’s startlingly white.

According to a report from Us Weekly, Kim Kardashian spent hours in the Paris salon L’Atelier, and when she emerged the hair on her head matched the fur on her coat.

Later that evening, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star watched her husband, Kanye West, in concert.

Kim Kardashian seemed very happy with this new look, as she tweeted out a photo to her followers.

Maybe Kim Kardashian didn’t like the competition of Jared Leto sporting the same hair color? He went platinum blonde for his role as The Joker in an upcoming film. His new ‘do meant his long tresses were cut as well, however.

People magazine reports that Kim Kardashian’s platinum blonde was inspired by Madonna. Who do you suppose inspired her white locks–Billy Idol?

What’s your take on Kim Kardashian’s latest look? Do you prefer her as a platinum blonde or with white hair instead? Or do you think the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star should stick her her brunette hair color instead?

  • Jared Leto Chops Off Long, Sexy Locks for ‘Suicide Squad’

Jared Leto has cut off his long, sexy signature locks for a short style. Leto will play the role of The Joker in the upcoming Suicide Squad. David Ayer is the director for the film. He posted both before after shots of Jared Leto on hair cutting day.

In addition to Jared Leto, Suicide Squad will star Margot Robbie and Will Smith. The two presently appear together in Focus on the big screen. Jesse Eisenberg is rumored to be playing the role of Lex Luther.

Suicide Squad is about a secret government agency. Run by Amanda Waller, the agency is named A.R.G.U.S. Waller creates a task force comprised of super villains. They call the task force the Suicide Squad because sometimes members never return from their assignments. The villains–all from comic book stories–are assigned to execute dangerous tasks in exchange for shorter prison sentences.

Here are the before and after shots of Jared Leto, as posted by Suicide Squad director, David Ayer. See what you think of the My So-Called Life actor’s new look.

What do you think of Jared Leto without his lengthy tresses? There’s no question that even without long hair, he’s still incredibly sexy.

You can check out Jared Leto in Suicide Squad in August of 2016.

  • Scott Disick, Batman and Sin City

Scott Disick recently shared with People magazine that he wants to be Batman for Halloween, and while that’s not necessarily a great role for him to play (after all, Batman helps people, and Scott Disick very clearly needs the help of others–some of them professionals) it is in strong contention right now.

Disick and girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian reportedly dress up to complement whatever son Mason and daughter Penelope want to be for Halloween each year, so maybe the kids are thinking along the lines of little criminals or perhaps the Joker as some of their options this year?

Lord Disick and his lady left the kids behind this weekend and enjoyed some time away in Sin City. While there they met up with Bruce Jenner. Kourtney Kardashian’s mom, Kris Jenner, just filed for divorce from Bruce a little more than two weeks ago.

People reports that Bruce Jenner’s long hair was ‘flowing,’ and that he arrived with sons Brody and Brandon Jenner–meeting Kourtney and Scott Disick at Stack.

“He seemed really reflective,” a patron told the magazine. “He chimed in a few times but really just let everyone else do the talking. Some girl told him she liked his hair as he left the restaurant and he smiled. That was really the only time he showed any real emotion.”

The Las Vegas weekend for Kourtney Kardashian came down to watching Scott Disick–her prospective Batman in waiting–leave her behind while he drank at listened to music at Mirage’s 1 OAK nightclub. On the up side, she got to bask in the glow of her stepfather’s shiny locks. Do you suppose Kourtney wishes she’d simply stayed home with the kids and sent Scott Disick on to Sin City without her?

At least the Keeping Up With the Kardashians and Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons star had a little girl power in her corner while she was there.

Do you think Scott Disick can pull off his Batman role for Halloween? Hopefully he lays off the booze long enough to maneuver his Batmobile.

  • Batman: Arkham Origins Is Looking Pretty Good

Were you skeptical of Batman: Arkham Origins when it was first announced? It being a prequel as well as no longer being developed by Rocksteady were both cause for concern. Warner Bros. Montreal has tried to alleviate those concerns over the past few months, and its latest trailer only continues to reassure us that the new developers know what they’re doing.

For Gamescom, Warner Bros. has released a new trailer that reiterates the story as we know it so far. Black Mask has sent out eight assassins to kill Batman in the middle of a Gotham Winter. Those assassins thus far have been revealed to be Bane, The Joker, Deathstroke and Copperhead. The latest trailer reveals that Firefly will also be gunning for Batman as well.

Some may be sad to see Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill not returning to their roles of Batman and The Joker, but the new voice talent isn’t too shabby. In fact, Troy Baker, who you may remember as Joel from The Last Of Us, does an almost pitch perfect impression of Hamill’s Joker. Roger Craig Smith, the voice behind Ezio in Assassin’s Creed II, is providing the voice for Bruce Wayne/Batman.

Batman: Arkham Origins has some big shoes to fill, but fans of the franchise will hopefully not be disappointed with the release of the latest title.

  • Injustice: Gods Among Us Should Get An Animated Film

Up until this point, I’ve always thought that Injustice: Gods Among Us looked like a great game. After the reveal of the opening cinematic, I’m convinced that DC needs to make an animated film.

If you’re unfamiliar with the events leading up to hero vs. hero fights in Injustice, let’s just say that Metropolis is no more and Superman is very angry. You should avoid the video below if you don’t want the opening moments of the game’s story spoiled, but there’s some quality storytelling and acting here. The Joker in particular stands out even though it’s a little sad that Mark Hamill didn’t reprise his role this time around.

If you don’t like spoilers and just want to watch super heroes beat each other up, you should check out the launch trailer for the game. There’s plenty of combat to go around.

Injustice: Gods Among Us will launch on April 16 for the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U.

  • The Joker Introduces Lex Luthor To A Crowbar In The Latest Injustice: Gods Among Us Matchup

Last week, WB Games started up the Injustice Battle Arena where fans of the upcoming fighter could vote to see who fights who in weekly match ups. The first week saw Batman face off against Bane and Wonder Woman face off against Harley Quinn. Batman and Wonder Woman moved on to the second round.

This week, the two match ups are a bit more interesting. First up, we have The Joker vs. Lex Luthor in a fight that sees The Joker using some classic weapons, like his trusty crowbar, against the power suit fitted Lex. Lex has some tricks of his own, however, including an orbital laser that he calls down upon enemies.

The second fight is between The Flash and Shazam, which seems a little unfair. Shazam definitely holds his own though, and puts up a terrific fight. That being said, The Flash had this one in the bag.

The Battle Arena will be back next week with two more match ups that will probably be just as exciting as the last four have been. Here’s hoping newly announced Aquaman gets his chance to shine soon.

Injustice: Gods Among Us comes out for Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii U on April 16.

  • The Dark Knight With Just The Joker

If you’ve been on the Internet for a decent amount of time, you’ve probably come across a number of supercut mash-up videos. Whether it’s the “F*cking Short Version” of The Big Lebowski or any of the multitude that came out after, these are common content items that live a good life on YouTube and various blogs. Now, thanks to the hard work of the folks at TheCussingChannel, we have another supercut for the ages, this one from The Dark Knight, featuring only the scenes where The Joker talks. On camera.

    Take a look:

According to their description, if they would’ve used every scene Heath Ledger’s unforgettable character appeared in, the video would be over 30 minutes long. Here’s what they kept:

Rules: Just The Joker, just the on-camera dialogue. Now, there are many shots in this film over the Joker’s shoulder, with the focus on the character he’s talking to… those lines didn’t make it… only the clips where the Joker is the focus of the shot (otherwise this becomes a 30-minute affair).

They also have individual links to the scenes they used, if you’d like to go that route. Bonus, the video has under 1000 views at the moment, so those of you who like to get in on something before it pops, here’s your chance.

Just don’t be so serious about it.
