  • Gia Giudice Demonstrates Incredible Resilience As Mom Teresa Giudice Enters Prison

Gia Giudice is demonstrating incredible resilience after her mother, Teresa Giudice of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, entered prison early Monday morning.

The 13-year-old’s mom began her 15-month sentence for bankruptcy fraud after turning herself in at the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut shortly after 3 a.m. Monday.

As for Gia, she is remaining positive and sharing her thoughts — as well as the support she is receiving from friends and fans via social media — on her Twitter page.

The 3KT singer reportedly spent her last few hours with her mom on Sunday going to church with her family and celebrating her 14th birthday, which is on Jan. 8, a little early.

“They had a birthday party for Gia,” a source told Us Weekly. “They had a cake and a celebration.”

Joe Giudice will care for Gia, Gabriella, 10, Milania, eight, and Audriana, five, while Teresa completes her time behind bars. He will serve his own 41-month sentence once Teresa returns home.

Even though it must be incredibly difficult for the Giudice kids to be without their mom and with the knowledge that their dad will have to leave them sometime next year, Gia is proving to be very brave and strong.

“My family is probably one of the strongest families I know, so we’ll get through this,” Gia told Access Hollywood recently. “It’s gonna be fine. And when it’s over, we’re gonna be better than ever.”

  • Teresa Giudice: Police Reportedly Raid Her Mansion and Take Jewelry, Televisions and Even the Kids’ Christmas Presents

Teresa Giudice’s New Jersey mansion was reportedly raided by police early Monday morning, and the cops are said to have confiscated property after the couple failed to set-up a payment plan, according to RadarOnline.

The Inquisitr reports that, according to a December 18 report by Rumorfix, the feds were “granted a court order to raid their home. They arrived unannounced and Teresa was surprised; however, she had no choice but to let them in.

“The judge who sentenced her, Judge Esther Salas, signed the warrant allowing them to enter. While there, they found lots of real jewelry, which had a high monetary value.”

Another source told Radar, “Plasma televisions, expensive jewelry, cash, and even the kids’ Christmas presents were taken.”

During Giudice’s house raid, the feds reportedly confiscated all of the reality star’s jewelry, except her wedding band.

“They were there for hours and during the raid she was not allowed to leave the kitchen whatsoever.”

In March, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star and her husband, Joe, pleaded guilty to four counts of fraud, including bankruptcy, fraud, conspiracy to commit mail fraud and wire fraud, and failure to pay taxes.

According to reports, Giudice claimed her jewelry was all “costume” jewelry.

“The Giudices have a lot of possessions that they did not try to claim when first granted the opportunity to rightfully do so. Due to additional information that was received after the, the feds felt they had no choice but to do this.”

Looks like the next thing to go is the house.

“The property will now be auctioned off with the money going into a trust account. If there is any money left over, it would go to paying creditors in their bankruptcy, in which they owe $14.3 million,” the insider told Radar.

Giudice is expected to begin her 15-month prison term on Jan. 5, which may be filmed for the reality show.

  • Teresa Giudice Sues Lawyer For $5 Million: Reportedly Blames Him For Jailtime

Teresa Giudice was devastated to learn that she and husband Joe would be serving actual jail time after pleading guilty to numerous counts of fraud.

Somehow the Real Housewives of New Jersey star reportedly believed that she and her husband would and should be shown leniency for their illegal behaviors.

While a number of American citizens feel strongly that the two were let off lightly, Giudice reportedly disagrees.

According to Page Six, Teresa intends to sue her bankruptcy lawyer for $5 million.

The Housewives star reportedly blames James Kridel for his failure to correctly document certain assets prior to filing for bankruptcy.

In the official court document, Kridel is accused of neglecting “to perform a reasonable investigation concerning the petition, schedules and statement of financial affairs”.

Teresa Giudice is supposedly shifting the blame to the lawyer after a bankruptcy trustee made the claim that she and her husband had reportedly gone out of their way to hide sources of income.

Not only that, but the New Jersey housewife is said to believe that had it not been for his actions, she and her husband would not be headed to jail.

Adding insult to injury, Teresa Giudice is blaming James Kridel personally for EVERY negative consequence of her family’s fraud scandal.

After pleading guilty to nearly 40 counts of fraud, Teresa Giudice was sentenced to 15 months in jail and forced to pay $422,000 in restitution. Meanwhile, her husband Joe was sentenced to 41 months in prison with the risk of deportation still hanging over him.

Rather than the two of them serve their sentences at the same time, their defense attorneys were able to negotiate a deal where one parent at a time is jailed, ensuring that their young children spend extended time without both parents.

With this unusual stipulation on top of a rather generous plea agreement (all things considered), it will be interesting to see whether or not any part of Teresa Giudice’s lawsuit proves successful.

Do you think Teresa Giudice has a case or is she merely playing “the blame game”?

  • Danielle Staub: Will Bravo Try To Get Her Back On ‘Housewives’ Show?

It’s kind of hard to explain to anyone who isn’t familiar with Danielle Staub how she pretty much M-A-D-E the earlier seasons of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

Sure we have a passive-aggressive troublemaker in Melissa Gorga. The hair-pulling twins Teresa Aprea and Nicole Napolitano are okay.

The fact remains that NO ONE can top Staub in terms of effortlessly stirring up hilarious drama!

Danielle Staub brought out the table-flipper in Teresa Giudice. She also got a section of her hair removed by former co-star Jacqueline Laurita’s now 23-year-old daughter Ashley.

It was during that scene that we got the iconic line, “Stay in the positive, b*tch!”

Sorry Amber Marchese; Staub did dramatic bald spot first, and she did it better.

With the news that her arch nemesis Giudice was busted for fraud and is headed to prison, many were expecting to hear Staub’s “I told you so” cackle echoing across the state of New Jersey.

Instead, Danielle came from a place of love and support.

“I wanted to be here [for Teresa] with a message from my daughters and myself,” said Staub. “Your kids are really all that’s important right now.”

The former Housewives star said that Giudice shouldn’t worry about what’s being written in the press and on social media sites.

“Just live your life and know that whatever is behind you is done and you only have the future ahead of you.”

It’s certainly a touching message, but many are wondering if the timing of a statement suggests an ulterior motive…like replacing Teresa Giudice on the show?

It’s been alleged that some of the Housewives cast are open to seeing Staub make an epic comeback.

She wouldn’t be the first RHONJ cast member to return to the series; Dina Manzo is back following a lengthy absence.

There are also reports that Jacqueline Laurita might be coming back as well.

One thing’s for certain, if Danielle Staub made her way back onto The Real Housewives of New Jersey, she would quickly show all of the new girls how an epic feud is done!

  • Teresa Giudice: Will She Divorce Joe Giudice?

Teresa Giudice and hubby Joe Giudice will spend lots of time in prison in the coming months and years–but will they serve out all their time as a married couple? Rumor has it, the former Real Housewives of New Jersey star might divorce her husband. She even said in court, on the day they were sentenced, that he had ‘screwed her over.’

According to a report from the New York Daily News, a source claims Teresa Giudice was a puppet of sorts for Joe.

“At the hearing, Teresa said through clenched teeth that she feels like Joe had royally screwed her over,” the source said. “According to Teresa, she only went along with what Joe told her to do. She isn’t smart enough to come up with a scheme to milk hundreds of thousands of dollars from banks.”

The mother of four was said to be “stunned” that she was ordered to serve her time in prison–15 months–ahead of her husband. The judge ordered this so Joe Giudice can care for the couple’s four children. He will then serve his 41 months when Teresa is released.

The couple’s eldest daughter, Gia Giudice, is trying to maintain optimism in light of what must be an unusually difficult situation for a 13-year-old. She recently tweeted some of her feelings.

It seems as though Teresa Giudice has a lot of thinking to do if she is truly planning to divorce Joe Giudice. Should she wait until she has returned from serving her prison time so that her children can at least believe while their mother is behind bars that their family is somewhat intact?
