  • 50 Cent First Pitch FAIL: See The Pics and Video

50 Cent threw what may be the worst first pitch in history of baseball’s first pitches.

You really have to feel for the guy after seeing that pitch before a game between the New York Mets and the Pittsburgh Pirates on Tuesday at City Field. Even Tara the Cat’s first throw may have been better considering the challenge the feline faced lacking a much-needed thumb.

One can only imagine the embarrassment for the rapper. It must be every non-baseball player’s worst nightmare as they step up to the rubber to throw that pitch.

50 Cent took his turn at the rubber, some 60 feet from home plate. Wearing a Mets jersey with No. 50 and the name Jackson on the back, 50 Cent — whose real name is Curtis Jackson III — wound up and launched a left-handed toss that sailed way wide of Mets catcher Anthony Recker — like way, WAY to the left.

He had a response to the pitch he posted on Instagram along with the caption, “I’m a hustler not a Damn ball player. LMAO #smsaudio #animalambition.”

Needless to say, Twitter had its say on the pitch.

It was great to see that 50 Cent could poke fun at himself.

Here’s Tara the Cat‘s first throw, so you all can decide who truly did throw the better first pitch.

  • Tara the Cat to Throw Ceremonial First Pitch

Viral YouTube feline hero Tara the Cat is scheduled to symbolically throw the first pitch at a Class A baseball game between the Bakersfield Blaze and the Lancaster JetHawks next Tuesday.

A surveillance video of Tara scaring off a dog who was attacking 4-year-old Jeremy Triantafilo in his family’s driveway has garnered over 18 million views after being posted on May 14. An 8-month-old neighborhood Labrador-Chow mix came from behind a parked SUV and attacked preschooler Triantafilo as he was riding his bike Tuesday, biting him in the left calf, and knocking him to the ground.

Gray tabby Tara, a former stray who had bonded with Jeremy when he was an infant, quickly barreled in, pushing the dog off the boy:

Jeremy’s mother Erica Triantafilo quickly rushed in and took Jeremy to an urgent care center, where he received 10 stitches and an antibiotic shot. The preschooler took the rest of the week off from class, and during a Wednesday interview with ABC Network News Correspondent David Wright, Jeremy commented, “A mean dog hurt me. He tried to bite me. The cat saved me. My kitty’s a hero.”

Tara the Cat, with the help of the Triantafilo family, will “throw” the first ceremonial pitch at 7:15 p.m. on May 20 at Historic Sam Lynn Ballpark in Bakersfield, followed by the minor-league game’s first pitch at 7:30.

Bakersfield police spokesman Sgt. Joe Grubbs said the offending dog will be quarantined for 10 days and subsequently put down.

Jeremy’s father Roger Triantafilo commented, “A lot of people have gotten comments about our neighbors, and I want to say I am not blaming, we are not blaming them. Accidents happen. It was a dog and things happen.”

  • Tara the Cat: Heroic Cat Video Goes Crazy Viral

A family cat kicked some major mean-dog butt while saving its 4-year-old buddy, and the video has made Tara so famous she now gets to throw out the first pitch at a minor league baseball game.

Little Jeremy Triantafilo was riding his bike in his family’s driveway in Bakersfield, Calif. when a neighborhood dog came after the boy from behind and grabbed him by his leg.

The dog was dragging Jeremy down the family’s driveway by his leg when his cat, Tara, came out of nowhere and plowed into the dog, scaring it away.

“Tara is my hero,” Jeremy said Wednesday afternoon.

Jeremy’s dad, Roger Triantafilo, posted home surveillance video of the cat’s heroics on YouTube Wednesday morning, and by the end of the day, the post had nearly 4.5 million views.

Jeremy’s mother, Erika Triantafilo, told CNN, “Well he just got off the bus and it was kind of breezy and he wanted to fly a kite. And we tried to get it up with no success. And he was just playing outside a little bit, and I was watering some plants before we headed on in. The next thing I know, the dog was just there, and it was shaking him. Before I could even get there, my cat clobbered him. She saved the day. Chased him away, and came back to him after the dog was gone. I just chased the dog away — tried to get it away from my son – away from everyone, and get him taken care of.”

When asked about her first thoughts when she saw the dog with her son, the grateful mom said it completely took her by surprise.

“The first thing, I didn’t even realize the dog had my son by his legs. I figured he had his pants or something else. Just Tara happened so fast, out of nowhere. I didn’t even really know what had happened until afterwards when my husband showed me our surveillance video and said “our cat saved our son.” It was truly amazing. She’s my hero.”
