  • LivingSocial Books 1 Millionth Hotel Reservation

    Today LivingSocial announced that its Escapes program has booked one million reservations since its inception in November, 2010. The rooms were booked in over 1,400 hotel, lodging and tour partners around the world. Escapes bookings can include anything from African Safaris and all-inclusive beach vacations in the tropics, to shopping trips and quiet bed and breakfast retreats.

    LivingSocial has just announced the launch of Takeout & Delivery, an online restaurant platform which allows users to order food from thousands of local diners for pickup or delivery. LivingSocial has used its Instant service as a testing ground for Takeout & Delivery, and will be transitioning to and expanding upon all of its markets nationwide.
