  • Nightclub Death: 2nd Woman Arrested, Looking For 3rd

As earlier reported by us, an innocent night out on the town left recent graduate Kim Pham lifeless on the sidewalk suffering from brain damage that resulted in her later death with other women now being charged with murder.

Vanesa Zavala was first charged in the deadly beating, and now another woman has been charged with the California murder. While her name has not been released to the public, Associated Press tell us that Police Chief Carlos Rojas verified that a 27-year-old woman has been arrested on Friday.

The two women were chosen as suspects out of a group of five women who encountered the late Kim Pham’s group. A third party has been named a person of interest, but has yet to be arrested.

The cause for the fight is still unknown, but more information is sure to follow as all parties involved are apprehended and fully questioned. Kim Pham’s group was reportedly mostly of Vietnamese descent, while the ones charged were of Latino descent. Racial violence has been cited as a possible cause for the brutal fight that resulted in vicious head injuries to the departed Kim Pham.

A large vigil was held on Friday for Kim Pham outside of the nightclub, while Kate Larsen of NBC4 news and others ask for assistance in finding the third person of interest for further clarification of an unnecessary death.

The Los Angeles Times provides a bittersweet silver lining on this dark cloud– Kim Pham was a member of the California Donate Life California Organ & Tissue Donor Registry, and her organs have already helped five patients in need of a heart, kidneys, lungs, pancreas and liver.

  • Irvington Shooting: NJ’s Unsolved Christmas Tragedy

The Star-Ledger tells us of a shooting outside of a strip club in Irvington, New Jersey on Christmas morning that left three men dead and two wounded.

A bouncer was first killed in the line of duty a little after 12:30 a.m. Wednesday morning. Woodley Daniel was attempting to escort drunken armed guests from Slick’s Go Go Bar when the gunman stepped back and opened fire. Pierre Clervoyant Jr., the son of the club’s owner, likely tried to assist the situation and was shot and killed shortly after.

The third victim, Mushir Cureton, has just recently died from his shooting injuries.

Known as a “hole-in-the-wall” bar, the club has endured a recent fatality in a similar manner in 2010. Neighbors have told reporters that the neighborhood is becoming more dangerous every day.

Not much information can be found on Woodley Daniel, but he honorably lost his life trying to protect approximately 100 people that were inside of the club. Pierre Clervoyant Jr. leaves behind a wife and young child at his death.

There is a $10,000 reward for information that assists in a suspect’s arrest; the only information authorities have as of now is that the two suspects possibly fled the Essex County strip club in a grey sedan immediately after the incident.
