Jessica Biel Enjoys “7th Heaven” Reunion at Her Restaurant Opening

Jessica Biel celebrated a reunion of sorts with cast mates from 7th Heaven in recent days. It was at the opening of Biel’s restaurant, Au Fudge, that Beverley Mitchell, Mackenzie Rosman, Catherine Hicks, and Barry Watson shared in her big moment.

Jessica Biel starred as Lucy Camden on 7th Heaven, a TV show about a preacher and his family, that ran from 1996 to 2007. Beverley Mitchell played Mary’s younger sister Lucy Camden, with Mackenzie Rosman playing the youngest girl in the Camden clan–Ruthie Camden. Barry Watson played the eldest of the Camden siblings, Matt Camden. Catherine Hicks played Annie Camden, the matriarch of the 7th Heaven family. Noticeably absent was Stephen Collins, known for his role as Reverend Eric Camden on the hit TV show. Collins confessed in 2014 to sexually abusing several underage girls over a 20-year span.

Beverley Mitchell shared a photo taken of the former Camden gang at Jessica Biel’s restaurant opening.

“So much fun supporting our girl @JessicaBiel on the launch of her amazing new restaurant @aufudge! Love these people like family! #nothinglikefamily #7thheavenforever #aufudge #familyfriendly #getfudgedup,” she captioned it.

It’s fun to see how far Jessica Biel has come since playing her 7th Heaven role as Mary Camden. The actress has appeared in several films, she married Justin Timberlake, is mom to the adorable Silas Timberlake, and now has her own restaurant.

There’s no question that life is very, very good for Jessica Biel.

Were you a 7th Heaven fan? Wouldn’t you love to see Jessica Biel, Beverley Mitchell, Mackenzie Rosman and more stage a real 7th Heaven reunion for fans?

  • Katie Couric: Stephen Collins Tells the ‘Yahoo Global News’ Anchor His Faith Has Helped Him Heal From His ‘Impulses’

Katie Couric sat down with Stephen Collins in an exclusive interview, in which the actor admits to accusations of sexual misconduct with three female minors, telling the Yahoo Global News anchor, “I’m a flawed person.”

In a teaser clip for the interview that will be posted on Yahoo on Friday in conjunction with an airing of the interview on ABC’s 20/20 on the same day, the 7th Heaven actor responds to come questions posed by Couric.

When asked if he felt he was living a double life while portraying a minister on the 90s WB show, the 67-year-old beleagured actor said he didn’t.

“No, because first of all I had put that stuff behind me,” Collins says. “I’m a flawed person.”

In fact, he went on to say that it is his faith that has helped bring healing in the aftermath of his past mistakes.

“In the church, it’s actually one of the things I love about the church … Christ says in so many ways, ‘Bring me that which about you is broken. Bring it.’ And, most people are broken in some way,” he said.

The clip shows Collins telling Couric that he has tried to make amends in his private life and wishes his personal life could have remained private.

“Most people either get to or have to or choose to hide it,” he said. “This came out. I didn’t choose this to come out. I didn’t want to have to deal with these things publicly. I had dealt with them very, very strongly and committedly in my private life. I think I’m a human being with flaws and I’ve done everything I can to address them.”

Collins also sent a statement to People, in which he says he apologized to one of the victims about 15 years after the encounter. However, according to the statement released to the magazine, he has been advised against contacting the other two.

“After I learned in the course of my treatment that my being direct about such matters could actually make things worse for them by opening old wounds, I have not approached the other two women, one of whom is now in her 50s and the other in her 30s,” he said.

Collins said the past is the past, and he has “not had an impulse to act out in any such way” in the last 20 years.

Revelations of alleged sexual misconduct came to light when TMZ released a recording of him in October admitting to child molestation. Collins claims his estranged wife recorded the January 2012 therapy session in which he discussed his past without his knowledge.

“After I learned in the course of my treatment that my being direct about such matters could actually make things worse for them by opening old wounds, I have not approached the other two women, one of whom is now in her 50s and the other in her 30s,” he said in the statement to People.

“On the recording, I described events that took place 20, 32, and 40 years ago,” Collins went on to say. “The publication of the recording has resulted in assumptions and innuendos about what I did that go far beyond what actually occurred. As difficult as this is, I want people to know the truth.”

  • Stephen Collins: 7th Heaven Star Confesses to Sexually Abusing Young Girls

Stephen Collins, best known for his role as Reverend Eric Camden on the long running TV show 7th Heaven, has confessed to the sexual abuse of three young girls between 1973 and 1994.

According to a report from People.com, Collins released a written statement to the publication, in which he admits to sexual contact with the three minors.

The actor has remained out of the spotlight ever since a recording of him confessing to child molestation was released to TMZ. In his written report he details those incidents.

“I have not had an impulse to act out in any such way” in the last 20 years,” he reportedly writes in his essay for People.

He also explains why he hasn’t apologized to his victims.

“I did have an opportunity to do so with one of the women, 15 years later. I apologized and she was extraordinarily gracious,” he explains. “But after I learned in the course of my treatment that my being direct about such matters could actually make things worse for them by opening old wounds, I have not approached the other two women, one of whom is now in her 50s and the other in her 30s.”

“Forty years ago, I did something terribly wrong that I deeply regret. I have been working to atone for it ever since. I’ve decided to address these issues publicly because two months ago, various news organizations published a recording made by my then-wife, Faye Grant, during a confidential marriage therapy session in January, 2012. This session was recorded without the therapist’s or my knowledge or consent,” Stephen Collins writes.

“On the recording, I described events that took place 20, 32, and 40 years ago,” he adds. “The publication of the recording has resulted in assumptions and innuendos about what I did that go far beyond what actually occurred. As difficult as this is, I want people to know the truth.”

Stephen Collins will talk with Katie Couric during that will air both during an exclusive interview on ABC’s 20/20 on this coming Friday, as well as during a Yahoo! live stream that same day.

This is such a devastating revelation–not only for those involved–but for fans, too. Those who faithfully watched 7th Heaven believed Reverend Camden–and the man who portrayed him–was a trustworthy man. How sad for fans to now realize what they watched for all those years was a lie.

It will be interesting to learn if any of Stephen Collins’s 7th Heaven cast mates–Jessica Biel, Beverley Mitchell, Catherine Hicks, Barry Watson, and more–will eventually comment on the situation.

  • Stephen Collins, ‘7th Heaven’ Father, Cut from ‘Scandal’ Episode

Stephen Collins has experienced a definite fall from grace. The 7th Heaven father and pastor has now been dropped from an upcoming episode of Scandal. ABC decided to remove all of his footage from the episode in light of recent sexual abuse allegations.

“We can confirm that we will not be airing any footage with Stephen Collins,” a rep for ABC said during a recent interview.

Stephen Collins appeared on an episode of Scandal during Season 2, in the role of anchorman Reed Wallace. He finished filming for the Season 3 episode back in September. Collins tweeted about wrapping the filming on September 23rd.

Both UP TV and the TVGuide Network pulled reruns of 7th Heaven this past week. Earlier he was fired from the cast of Ted 2. The investigation into the Stephen Collins sexual abuse allegations is ongoing.

Regardless of what the outcome of the investigation may be, it definitely sounds as though Stephen Collins’s career is over. Even if he is found innocent of any wrongdoing–and the tape the media released doesn’t make that sound likely–he will forever be thought of as someone somehow related to sex crimes, and that will make it quite unlikely he’ll find work again as an actor.

  • Faye Grant’s Attorney Lashes Out At Stephen Collins Over Accusations Of Blackmail

The controversy surrounding actor Stephen Collins and his alleged pedophilia has escalated with accusations that wife Faye Grant blackmailed him to get more money. Grant has lashed out at Collins’ camp through her lawyer, Martin Singer, who claims that the actor and his attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan are making “false and fabricated statements about Faye Grant to try to justify Collins’ conduct.”

Kaplan is reportedly claiming that Grant repeatedly threatened Collins with the audio recording she made at one of their 2012 therapy sessions together, where Collins admitted he had sexually abused young girls. He supposedly accused Grant of threatening to leak the recording to media if Collins did not pay her “millions of dollars more than that to which she was legally entitled.”

According to Daily Mail, Singer sent a letter to Kaplan on Friday threatening to take legal action for his comments. “It is malicious and outrageous that you would choose to spread defamatory lies accusing my client of supposedly engaging in extortion,” wrote Singer. “You are well aware of the fact that my client never used the tape at all in the dissolution proceedings. To the contrary, after your client refused to obtain treatment within a few months of the taping, my client gave the tapes to the NYPD and the LAPD.”

Grant, 57, is also an actor and was married to Collins for 27 years before they divorced in 2012. It is believed that the secret audio recording she made of their therapy session in which Collins admitted his pedophilic tendencies was made in that same year.

According to the New York Daily News, Grant had reached out in July 2012 to one of Collins’ victims after finding out about what he did. “I can only imagine the scars created from an adult behaving that way towards you,” Grant wrote in an e-mail to the woman. A source close to the NYPD told the publication that the victim was apparently a relative of Collins’.

  • Jessica Biel: Is That A Baby Bump?

Jessica Biel: Is That A Baby Bump?

Jessica Biel was spotted while on an Australian beach stroll last week, and a savvy photographer caught a glimpse of what could be a baby bump. Is this true? Might there soon be a little bundle of joy for Jessica and Justin Timberlake?

RadarOnline tells it like this. ‘The 7th Heaven star has either been taking a break from her fitness–or is definitely, most likely, possibly pregnant!’

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel tied the knot back in October of 2012. As recently as February of 2013, a source told RadarOnline that Timberlake wanted to put off their plans of starting a family “while he resurrected his music career.”

He has certainly done that–and more. His album ‘The 20/20 Experience’ was 2013’s best selling record of the year, and yielded huge hit singles including ‘Mirrors’ and ‘Suit & Tie.’ ‘The 20/20 Experience–2 of 2’ thrust hits like ‘Take Back the Night’ and ‘Not A Bad Thing’ on to the music scene.

Do these successes possibly indicate that Justin Timberlake’s career has, in fact, been resurrected? And if so, have he and Jessica Biel gone on to start their family–possibly keeping mum until she is a few months along?

Some are speculating Jessica Biel is pregnant based on photos taken at a recent 7th Heaven reunion. The gathering took place just prior to the unfortunate news about the show’s patriarch and pastor, played by Stephen Collins. Collins is allegedly involved in a scenario that might forever label him a sexual predator.

Fellow 7th Heaven star Beverley Mitchell shared a photo of the cast at the reunion, and you really can see what appears to be a baby bump protruding from Jessica Biel’s abdomen.

Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake were recently in the news for a lawsuit each filed separately against a British tabloid that used unauthorized quotes and photos of Jessica. The quotes they used were allegedly things the actress never said.

Hopefully the next time Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel make big news, it will be good news–perhaps even the announcement that she is in fact sporting a baby bump–and that a healthy little Jessica Biel/Justin Timberlake combination is on the way.

  • Stephen Collins’ Ex-Wife Shares His Secrets

Stephen Collins’ Ex-Wife Shares His Secrets

Stephen Collins may have played the kind-hearted dad on many television shows and movies, but according to his ex-wife, he had a secret life that was anything but similar to the lives of the men he played on television.

Collins’ ex-wife Faye Grant admitted in a statement to the courts in 2013 that she was aware of such behaviors but had only found out about them a year before the court date concerning their divorce.

“On January 19, 2012, I learned for the first time that Stephen had been living a secret life,” she declared in the official documents, obtained by People. “In the presence of his therapist, Stephen admitted that he had engaged in a long term pattern of sexually abusing minor children, including sexually molesting three young girls over a decade ago.” She goes on to say that she believes Collins has “narcissistic personality disorder with sociopathic tendencies.”

TMZ recently released an audio tape that allegedly captures Collins admitting to the crimes. Grant said that she did not release the tape and had nothing to do with the media finding out about the alleged molestations.

“I woke up today to learn that an extremely private recording I handed over to the authorities in 2012 per their request in connection with a criminal investigation was recently disseminated to the press,” Grant said. “I had no involvement whatsoever with the release of the tape to the media.”

Collins and Grant had been married 27 years before they divorced in 2012. The couple had been separated for a while and were trying to work things out. Grant said that in spite of their problems, she was surprised that Collins had filed for divorce.

“Stephen’s filing for divorce is a surprise. I am devastated,” she told E! News at the time. “I wish him the very best in whatever path he chooses to take. Twenty-seven years of marriage in Hollywood is the equivalent of 189 dog years. I was exhausted.”

The divorce was a fairly quiet one in terms of Hollywood couples and Grant and Collins went their separate ways without any problems.

It is not clear how the tape was obtained, but Collins is of course denying the molestation allegations.

  • ‘Ted 2’ Drops Stephen Collins; Actor Allegedly Molested Young Girls

After the release of a controversial audio recording concerning the actor, the comedy film Ted 2 reportedly fired Stephen Collins. Ted 2, helmed by Seth MacFarlane, decided not to involve Collins in the film after news broke that the actor allegedly admitted to molesting and exposing himself to young girls.

TMZ has obtained an audio recording that Collins’ wife Faye Grant had made during therapy sessions in 2012, where Collins admitted to molesting or exposing himself to several young girls. Production sources close to Ted 2 revealed to TMZ that Collins was immediately fired after the site posted the recording. Also, a source from The David Lynch Foundation told TMZ that Collins had resigned his post as Co-Director for its Committee for Stress-Free Schools two years ago for “personal reasons”. After TMZ called the Foundation, Collins’ name was reportedly removed from the website of the Committee.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Collins has yet to be charged with a crime, but the audio recording and the ongoing investigation of the New York Police Department were enough for MacFarlane and Universal Pictures to make a decision on having him in Ted 2. Representatives of Ted 2 have reportedly confirmed the firing of Collins, and sources close to the film have said that the removal of his character would not affect its final outcome.

Collins hinted about his involvement in Ted 2 on Saturday, when he responded to a fan asking him what his role was in the movie. He tweeted, “I’d tell you but @SethMacFarlane would have to kill me.” Meanwhile, Ted 2 has begun filming and will be released on June 26, 2015.

Collins will apparently not be seen on TV either, as a representative for TV Guide Network has reportedly confirmed that it will stop airing reruns of his show 7th Heaven because of the abuse allegations.
