  • Stephanie Moseley’s Friends And Colleagues Mourn Her Death

On December 8, the bodies of actress and dancer Stephanie Moseley and rapper Earl Hayes were discovered inside their apartment. The police have concluded that Hayes shot himself after killing his wife. Moseley’s close friends and family are now mourning the tragic loss. “She was this wide-eyed, beautiful girl. She was cautious and she never wanted to be the focus of the room – unless she was on stage,” said Rachel Poirier, Moseley’s former dance teacher. Poirier taught Moseley from the ages of 12 to 18 years old, but the two remained friends.

Stephanie was an actress from Vancouver who was last seen in the VH1 show Hit the Floor. VH1 released a statement right after her passing, saying, “VH1 and the entire ‘Hit the Floor’ family send our thoughts and condolences to her family and friends at this difficult time.” Moseley’s Hit the Floor co-star, Dean Cain, also expressed his grief. “Stephanie was exceptionally beautiful, an absolutely amazing and incredible dancer, and judging by how the other girls spoke about her, a lovely human being,” he said. “I’m heartbroken and saddened.”

In a statement released by the LAPD, they discussed the details surrounding the case. According to the statement, police arrived at the scene after receiving reports of a shooting in the 300 block of Hauser Avenue. Additional gunshots were heard by the policemen who arrived at the scene. SWAT officers entered the apartment and found the bodies of Moseley and Hayes inside.

Earl Hayes, son of Isaac Hayes, is known to be a close friend of boxer Floyd Mayweather. TMZ reported that Hayes was talking to the boxer on Facetime prior to shooting Moseley. According to reports, an infuriated Hayes told Mayweather of his plan to kill his wife because she was being unfaithful. Mayweather told him not to do it, but Hayes carried out the murder before shooting himself.

It’s been reported that Mayweather acknowledges that he heard everything that transpired, but he will not divulge what he saw.

  • Stephanie Moseley and Rapper Husband Dead in Murder-Suicide

Stephanie Moseley, known for her role on VH1’s NBA cheerleading drama Hit the Floor, and her husband, rapper Earl Hayes, died Monday in what has been ruled a murder-suicide. Los Angeles police responded early Monday to reports of gunfire in Park La Brea, and found both Moseley and Hayes in their apartment with gunshot wounds. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

The initial investigation alleges that Earl Hayes shot Stephanie Moseley and then turned the gun on himself.

VH1 issued a statement regarding Moseley’s untimely passing.

“We are incredibly saddened to hear the news of the passing of Stephanie Moseley,” the statement read. “VH1 and the entire Hit The Floor family send our thoughts and condolences to her family and friends at this difficult time.”

A friend of Stephanie Moseley said the couple was experiencing some problems.

“No situation’s perfect,” Eva Marcille Pigford said. “Stephanie was an absolute angel. She really was … She’s connected so many people. She’s just loved. She will never, ever, ever, ever be forgotten.”

Stephanie Moseley was born in Vancouver and first turned heads as a dancer, according to the biography on her website. In her early 20s, she joined Britney Spears‘s dance crew and toured with her in the U.S. She also danced on one of Janet Jackson’s tour.

Among her TV roles, she appeared as Jamie Foxx’s wife on his 2006 NBC special Jamie Foxx: Unpredictable.

Violence is such a senseless way to attempt to solve anything. In this case two young, talented people are dead. If only they had reached out to others during their time of need, two families, along with their colleagues and friends wouldn’t be mourning the passing of Stephanie Moseley and Earl Hayes.

  • Stephanie Moseley And Rapper Earl Hayes Found Dead, Celebrities React

Actress and dancer Stephanie Moseley was found dead along with her boyfriend, Earl Hayes, in their apartment on Monday.

The police believe the two died in a murder-suicide and say that Hayes shot Moseley and then himself.

Moseley was featured on VH1’s drama series Hit the Floor and was a dancer for many rappers and singers.

VH1 released a statement to Us Weekly a short time after learning of her death saying,

“We are incredibly saddened to hear the news of the passing of Stephanie Moseley. VH1 and the entire Hit The Floor family send our thoughts and condolences to her family and friends at this difficult time.”

Moseley’s friends and fans were shocked at the news and many of her costars and colleagues expressed their feelings on social networks.

Many people who knew both Hayes and Moseley had a hard time believing that Hayes could have done such a thing.

Burrel L. Wilks, who called himself a life coach of Hayes, said that he had talked to both of them recently and didn’t feel as if anything was wrong.

“I’ve had sit-downs with both of them so whatever happened behind those doors we’ll never know,” Wilks told NBC. “But I heard out of her own mouth, he never raised a hand on her so this is kind of stunning.”

Police are still working on the details of the incident and will likely release more information in the near future.
