  • Angie Everhart, Former Sport Illustrated Swimsuit Model, Marries Carl Ferro

Angie Everhart was married at the beach over the weekend.

The former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model and actress married Carl Ferro, president and co-founder of meal delivery service Sunfare, during a sunset ceremony on Saturday evening, her rep confirmed to People.

The nuptials were a family affair. The 45-year-old actress was accompanied down the aisle by her 5-year-old son Kayden and Ferro’s daughter JoAnn served as flower girl. While model Sandra Taylor stood by her friend as a bridesmaid, the coupled exchanged vows they wrote themselves.

The nuptials were caught on camera for David Tutera’s CELEBrations, which will air on WE TV in early 2015.

According to Us Weekly, the bride wore a strapless lace dress with a tulle skirt. The area on the beach where the ceremony took place was decked out with a white aisle, gold chairs, along with several big floral arrangements with white roses.

Everhart, who announced in May that she is suffering from thyroid cancer, shared her happy news via Twitter on Friday.

The couple had been dating for exactly two years when Ferro proposed. He decided to pop the question on their two-year anniversary in April in the same elevator in Hollywood’s Redbury Hotel where they shared their first kiss.

  • Chrissy Teigen: John Legend’s Wife Fired from Forever 21 Gig

Chrissy Teigen, the gorgeous wife of singer John Legend, was once fired from a modeling gig for Forever 21 for being too ‘fat.’ The model, who appeared on the 2014 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition cover, is laughing all the way to the bank these days. Back then, however, it must have been a bit humiliating.

It was apparently a few years back when Teigen, who recently admitted to ‘hooking up’ with her hubby on their first date–showed up for the photo shoot for Forever 21.

“I showed up on set,” she said in an interview with DuJour magazine. “And they asked me if they could take a photo. And they shot the photo over to my agency who then called me as I’m sitting in the makeup chair. And they say, ‘You need to leave right now. You are fat. Come get your measurements taken.’”

Chrissy Teigen claims she had some ‘choice words’ for Forever 21 following that unpleasant incident. She doesn’t have trouble coming up with the right words in most situations with the exception of one main topic. She doesn’t talk publicly about either her diet or her fitness routines.

“That kind of stuff is very private to me because I do feel like when I do end up sharing stuff like that either it doesn’t work for everybody or everyone has their own opinion,” she said.

She did share something that’s really rather unusual for a model–especially one who has gotten the kind of coverage that she has. Despite her flawless beauty, Chrissy Teigen doesn’t wash her face before she goes to bed at night.

“My face never looks better than when I get off a plane,” she said in the magazine piece. “Because I never wash my face before bed, ever, in real life, but on airplanes the second I get in my seat I use my face towels, I’ll use a nose strip, I’ll do everything.”

Ladies, don’t take this as sound advice. Most people would wake up looking horrible–or at the very least have breakouts and a very unpleasant complexion–if they didn’t wash their face and remove their makeup before calling it a day.

Chrissy Teigen was no doubt gifted with some amazing genes. Not only is she gorgeous–just ask hubby John Legend, on whose music video ‘All of Me’ she appears–it’s clear she doesn’t have to work hard to maintain that beauty–at least not her skin. Do you suppose it looked that flawless during that infamous first date?

  • Rebecca Romijn to Host ‘Skin Wars’

Rebecca Romijn to Host ‘Skin Wars’

Rebeccca Romijn will soon be back on TV as the host of a new skin painting competition show. Called Skin Wars, artists will compete as body painters for the ultimate prize. Game Show Network announced the list of contestants who will compete in the 8-series hour-long competition show that aims to ‘find the most talented and versatile body painters in the country.’

The contestants for this inaugural season of Skin Wars include paramedic and firefighter Alan Anderson from Denver, former college track star Angela Roberts from Louisiana, face and body painting workshop owner Dutch Bihary from Seattle, air box master Felle from Detroit, graffiti artist and body painting instructor Gear Boxxx from Las Vegas (yes, that is x times 3), hypnotherapist, reverend, and spiritual body painter Mythica Von Griffyn from Denver, classical and technical painter Natalie Fletcher from Oregon, artist and roller derby queen Nicole Hays from Florida, body painter and former wrestler Sean Avram from Vermont, and body painter of nudes, Shannon Holt from Orlando. It sounds like in addition to lots of talent, this list is probably comprised of a cast of diverse characters, too.

In addition to Rebecca Romijn as host, judges on Skin Wars will include entertainer Ru Paul as well a body painting icons Craig Tracy and Robin Slonina.

So what does the winner of Skin Wars receive–in addition to keeping company with the lovely Rebecca Romijn? He or she will receive $100,000 in cash and a one-year supply of paint, as well as the honor of being the featured guest artist at IMATS, which is the premiere body painting trade show held in New York City each year.

Rebecca Romijn is a former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model and she was married to Full House actor John Stamos. She has been happily married to actor Jerry O’Connell since 2007. The couple has two little girls.

This will be the first regular TV appearance for the actress since back in September of 2013, when she played a private investigator in TNT’s King & Maxwell. What do you think about this new show? Will you tune in to see artists compete by painting on bodies? Or might you tune in simply to see Rebecca Romijn?

Skin Wars premieres on August 6th at 9:00 P.M. on GSN.
