  • Nikki Reed Spotted Out After Split from Paul McDonald Announced

    Nikki Reed was spotted out and about shortly after word of her split from hubby American Idol musician Paul McDonald was announced. The Twilight actress was seen wearing a black tank top and dark glasses following a workout at an L.A. gym. She accessorized her look with a trendy bag and some fun tights–but noticeably absent was her wedding ring. The couple has been married for two years.

    “After much consideration, Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald are ending their marriage. They have been living separately for the past six months due to work obligations,” a rep for Nikki announced. “They will continue to share their love of music, and are still working on their debut album, I’m Not Falling, releasing in 2014. They remain best friends and look forward to their continued journey together.”

    How difficult do you suppose it might be to work on an album together while in the midst of a divorce? Something says that album might never see the light of day unless Reed and McDonald have a great deal of respect for and patience with one another. Most divorced couples will probably agree that working closely with their perspective ex–shortly after making the decision to divorce–wouldn’t have worked in a million years.

    It’s sad how so many Hollywood couples let work get in the way of their marriage. They haven’t yet figured out that when the marriage comes first they will likely enjoy much happier lives in the long run. Money can afford them lots of things but not the peace and comfort that comes with a happy home life.

    Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald met back in 2011 at the Red Riding Hood film premiere. They became engaged just three months later.

  • Gwyneth Paltrow Explains Split From Chris Martin

    Tuesday, the news of actress Gywneth Paltrow and Coldplay’s Chris Martin splitting shook Hollywood to the core. While the two have remained rather private about their life, some marital issues have been discussed throughout the tabloids.

    However, it’s pretty safe to say no one saw this split coming.

    The abrupt news was made public on Paltrow’s website with a post titled, “Conscious Uncoupling.” The blog eventually crashed from the high volume of visitors.

    Their statement read, “It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate. We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate.”

    While the statement was clear, the chosen title for the news wasn’t exactly a common name for a separation, generating loads of conversation.

    Not sure what “conscious uncoupling” means either? Dr. Habib Sadeghi and Dr. Sherry Sami explain what the term means in a 2,000-word article that Paltrow shared on her site.

    The report is split into six sections: Until Death Do Us Part, End of the Honeymoon, Intimacy & Insects, Conscious Uncoupling, Wholeness in Separation and Coming Together.

    “The idea of being married to one person for life is too much pressure for anyone,” the doctors claimed.

    Paltrow and Martin seemed to agree when they said, “We’re living three lifetimes compared to early humans, perhaps we need to redefine the construct. Social research suggests that because we’re living so long, most people will have two or three significant long-term relationships in their lifetime.”

    Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin have decided to split.

    The devastating announcement was made on Gwyneth Paltrow’s website Goop.

    Their statement on Paltrow’s website read, “It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate. We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate.”

    While the two have remained private about their life, some up’s and down’s have been discussed in the media.

    However, it’s pretty safe to say no one saw this coming.

    The statement was continued saying, “We are, however, and always will be a family, and in many ways we are closer than we have ever been. We are parents first and foremost, to two incredibly wonderful children and we ask for their and our space and privacy to be respected at this difficult time. We have always conducted our relationship privately, and we hope that as we consciously uncouple and coparent, we will be able to continue in the same manner.”

    Just last year, Paltrow gushed to Good Housekeeping about her musical hubby and how marrying him was the “best decision” she’s made in her life.

    She was also quoted saying, “It’s hard being married. You go through great times, you go through terrible times. We’re the same as any couple.”

    Paltrow even recalled turning to her late father for advice in regards to being married.

    “I asked my dad once, ‘How did you and Mum stay married for 33 years?’ And he said, ‘Well, we never wanted to get divorced at the same time.’ And I think that’s what happens. When two people throw in the towel at the same time, you break up, but if one person’s saying: ‘Come on, we can do this,’ you carry on. I’ve learned more about myself being married than anything else. I hate to say, ‘We’ve got it worked out,’ because you never know what’s going to happen, but we laugh, we’re good friends, we like to do the same stuff.”

    Paltrow and Martin were married for 10 years and have two children together, Apple Martin and Moses Martin.

  • Kate Hudson: Calling It Quits With Matthew Bellamy?

    Are Kate Hudson and fiance Matthew Bellamy calling it quits? Hudson is fueling recent rumors by stepping out in public recently–and frequently, too–sans her engagement ring.

    PEOPLE magazine reports that the two aren’t in the greatest place right now.

    “Kate and Matt have been on the rocks for some time,” a source close to Hudson told the magazine. “They’re not in a great place.”

    In December Hudson and Bellamy, along with their 2½-year-old son Bingham, were together in Australia. Bellamy’s band Muse was performing there. They spent Christmas in the U.K. with his family, and skipped out on Hudson’s mom Goldie Hawn’s annual Aspen Christmas getaway.

    Since then, Kate Hudson has been spotted out and about with family members and friends, but noticeably not with Bellamy. Kate has been in L.A., New York and at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, where she promoted her film Wish I Was Here–but her significant other was nowhere to be seen.

    On Tuesday night, Hudson showed up solo at Bulgari’s Decades of Glamour bash at L.A.’s Soho House, as seen in the video clip above. She wasn’t wearing her 9-carat engagement ring.

    The source claims neither Kate Hudson nor Matthew Bellamy has moved out of their shared home.

    The couple had a bit of a whirlwind romance, then became engaged in April of 2011. Just three months later they welcomed their son.

    It was just about a month ago that Kate Hudson was a guest on Live With Kelly and Michael. When the hosts asked her about her and Matthew Bellamy’s wedding plans, she said “No, I’m planning nothing right now. I’m so busy, we’ve been so busy, and it’s been great. I come from an unconventional family – my parents aren’t married. So there’s a part of me that goes, ‘If I’m going to do it, I’m going to do it right’ … So, no. Not anytime soon, no.”

    It sounds like something is amiss with Kate Hudson and Matthew Bellamy’s relationship. Might they be doing okay but simply not moving forward toward marriage? It’s certainly not unusual for these celebrity couples to become involved, have children and then question their relationships. Hopefully the two are able to create a loving and stable life for their son Bingham, whether they opt to tie the knot–or not.

  • Catherine Zeta-Jones Reunited with Husband Following Separation

    REUNITED AND IT FEELS SO GOOD!

    I’m more than positive this should be the theme song dedicated to the reconciliation of one of Hollywood’s long-standing married couples.

    Catherine Zeta-Jones, 44, and her 69-year-old husband Michael Douglas were seen together on Dec. 22 for the first time following a four-month separation.

    The two have faced a few trials within the past few years. Douglas has been battling with tongue cancer and Zeta-Jones has her ups and downs with a bi-polar condition, therefore, a growing distance between the two is not a complete surprise.

    In reference to her condition, Zeta-Jones told InStyle US last year, “You find out who you really are and who you are married to. You find things inside yourself you never imagined were there.”

    Perhaps new revelations about the duo’s marriage came to the surface amidst her struggle with the disorder.

    The A-list couple decided to take a break in August to “to evaluate and work on their marriage,” according to Zeta-Jones’ publicist.

    However, it seemed that the spirit of holiday cheer have finally brought these two back together.

    Their New York date included taking their two children to lunch, a movie and Broadway play. Sources even say that the couple appeared to be nothing less than cordial around each other.

    Despite the breakup, Zeta-Jones continued to wear her wedding ring out in public.  It was refreshing to see that the two were still hopeful in working their differences out being that both had on their wedding rings while out together on this particular day.

    After 13 years into the marriage, one of them for sure hopes to make things work.

    “I hope to resolve my marriage in a positive fashion,” Douglas told GQ Magazine in an interview.

    Maybe 2014 will be the year to star fresh for the Hollywood couple.

  • Courtney Stodden Has Found A New Man

    Santa may have brought one reality star her gift early this year.

    Courtney Stodden, who famously married actor Doug Hutchison when she was 16 and he was 51, was seen Christmas tree shopping this weekend with a mystery man.

    Stodden and Hutchinson confirmed they were splitting up in early November. They signed official separation papers on November 9.

    The mystery man isn’t a complete mystery. E! Online revealed that his name is Ray and he is a model/actor and according to one source he is “one of many suitors that have approached Courtney” since her split from Hutchison. Mystery man Ray’s age is still unknown.

    It seems that their trip to finding the perfect Christmas tree was also the couple’s first date. “They had a nice time. He’s a really nice guy and he’s already planning their second date,” added the source.

    The now 19-year-old Stodden tweeted about her venture to shop for a Christmas tree, but made no mention of Ray.

    One person tweeted out a photo of the couple while they were shopping for a Christmas tree.

    The Celebrity Big Brother UK star and Hutchison tried to work out their problems this past summer. At the time the two were featured on Couples Therapy, but it seems their biggest problem was the 35-year age difference between the two.

    At the time of their separation, the couple continued to live together and agreed that Hutchison would still be involved in Stodden’s career. This may all change now that Ray is in Stodden’s life.

    I guess the newly brunette Stodden prefers her men closer to her age than blonde Stodden.

    And it looks like Stodden’s new brown locks are approved by one very happy fan.

  • Paula Deen Not Splitting From Her Husband

    Paula Deen has made her way back to the news again. This time, it’s the celebrity’s chef’s ‘on-and-off marriage’ that’s making negative headlines. News has been buzzing about her husband being a cheater. It all started earlier this week with one particular news release.

    The November 18th edition of the National Enquirer reported that Deen’s husband, Michael Groover, had a mistress, who was described as a ‘sexy, middle-aged brunette.’ The tabloid stated that she is actually a close family acquaintance that the two have known for years. The Enquirer also reported that Groover was kicked out by Deen after being confronted about the alleged affair. Although the details of the story were quite lucid, they have been refuted.

    According to US Weekly, a source close to Deen denied all of the claims. “This story is absolutely not true. They have never been closer. Michael adores her and Paula adores him. They are completely fine.”

    So, it seems there actually isn’t trouble in paradise. However, this isn’t the first rumor of separation reported by The Enquirer. In July 2013, the tabloid reported that the couple was headed for Splitsville, facing the possibility of a $17 million divorce. This claim was also refuted, as neither Deen or Groover made any steps toward filing for divorce.

    The 66-year-old cook has had other things to look forward to this week. Ironically her next public event is actually centered around family. Deen took to Twitter earlier this week to announce her upcoming book signing day which will take place at Uncle Bubba’s Oyster House in Savannah, GA. She and her family will be in attendance for the event.

  • Jada Pinkett Smith: Is Will Cheating On Her?

    Rumors have been swirling more strongly than ever the past few months that Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are having trouble in paradise. First there were divorce rumors in April 2012. Then rumors began again when it was thought that Will and Jada had an open marriage. This was followed by rumors in September that Jada was moving out of the family home. She added more fuel to the fire when she posted a “letter to a friend” on her Facebook concerning divorce.

    Through all these rumors, both Smith camps have denied the couple are on the rocks. One insider recently told US Weekly, “Everything with them is great.”

    Rumors of a trial separation have started again after Jada was seen sporting a new ‘do – sans wedding ring – at the Make Equality Reality event in Hollywood.

    And something else making people believe there is an end in sight for the couple – cheating rumors. Star magazine (insanely credible, I know) are reporting that Will took some compromising photos with his current Focus co-star, 23-year-old Margot Robbie.

    Apparently, on October 25, while in New Orleans, Will and Margot hopped into a photo booth at a party – Will was shirtless and Margot lifted up her shirt to show off her lingerie.

    An “eyewitness” told the rag, “Once they pulled the curtain back to take the pictures, they let their inhibitions run wild, laughing, hugging and muzzling each other in the dark.”

    The duo didn’t even take the photos, which Star magazine somehow got their hands on.

    Insiders gave a different story to US Weekly.

    “They’re not hooking up,” said the insider, adding, “That was a photo booth on set that the producers got for everyone. It was the last day of filming and everyone was taking pictures. They were just goofing around. Will is just like that. There’s nothing more to it.”

    What may seem like trouble to outsiders may not be a problem for Will and Jada. It’s their relationship, and only they can decide what is best for them.

    And even in July, when rumors were still abound, Jada told Redbook that it would take quite a lot for her to “abandon” her husband. “I have been affected by gossip and I know people who have been, too. I’ve seen marriages destroyed by gossip. It is cruel. At the end of the day, all that matters is: Do you love what you see when you look in the mirror? That is it, baby,” said Jada, adding, “What is the thing that Will could do to make me not love him? That would make me abandon him? I can’t think of one. I’m sorry. Except if he did something bad to the kids — now we’ve got a problem.”

  • Bruce Jenner and Kris Officially Split

    This story has been going around for months, even years, and reports show that the Jenner split is official. Bruce and Kris Jenner our favorite reality television couple, have announced that the split is real but that a divorce is not the next step.

    The Keeping Up with the Kardashian heads of household, or in the case “households”, being that Bruce has permanently moved into their Malibu home, have been the top talk within gossip rags and trashy blogs along with Kimye (Kim and Kanye) and Khlomar (Khloe and Lamar). The Jenners, who are splitting after 22 years, share two children together; Kyndal and Kylie Jenner.

    Anyone who watched a few episodes of this current season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians (9th season to be exact) would be privy to the tension and complications that lie within their very public relationship. To be a bit more frank, anyone who watched any season of Keeping Up would be familiar with the relationship between the Olympic athlete and the full-time self-proclaimed “momager”.

    This current season has gone more into depth regarding the relationship between Bruce’s children and their step-mom, Kris. Most reports claim that it has much to do with Bruce’s laid back demeanor and Kris’s control freak ways. In a past episode, The adult Jenner and Kardashian children met up to create an alliance in an effort to build Bruce a golf course. Indeed, it sounds and was completely ridiculous, but it was just one example from the show that displayed Bruce being passive and his sons, and even the Kardashian women, feeling the need to stand up for him. Also, in a past season we saw Khloe and Kim trying to team up with Bruce, 63, in an effort to get his credit card back from Kris, 57.

    Yes, these events may have been set up for television but we have to admit, this seems to be a bit more than a persona of both Bruce and Kris. It appears that their relationship may be exactly what it seems.

    It has also been asserted that Bruce isn’t into the Hollywood life and he’s happier in Malibu away from the paparazzi that plague his family.

    If the two do decide to file for divorce, there is no prenuptial agreement and there may be $125 million at stake. Here’s to hoping this doesn’t get messy.

    Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne have been married for over 30 years and their marriage has endured addiction, cancer, and a reality TV show. That’s why it was surprising this week when TMZ reported that the couple had split and were living in separate places. Though divorce plans weren’t confirmed by the gossip publication, the prospect was certainly implied.

    Now, Ozzy himself has come forward to shed some light on the situation. It turns out that the heavy metal star had relapsed, and has been enjoying booze and drugs for the past year and a half. Despite his troubles, the singer says the he has now been back on the wagon for over one month, and that the divorce rumors are not true:

  • Rihanna, Chris Brown Break Up, Again

    It appears that R&B stars Rihanna‘s and Chris Brown‘s on again, off again relationship is off. Again.

    According to an E! news report, Rihanna has moved on from the relationship to pursue her career intrests. According to TMZ, Chris Brown has moved onto wooing an L.A. waitress, though the woman denies getting between Brown and Rihanna.

    The relationship woes between Brown and Rihanna date back to 2009, when Brown was arrested and convicted of beating Rihanna. Pictures of Rihanna’s battered face turned Brown’s public perception negative – a backlash that still hasn’t fully subsided. Despite being the butt of sharp jokes since the incident, the singer has continued his career and recently appeared on the Today Show to promote a new music video. During the appearance, Brown admitted that beating Rihanna “was totally wrong.”

    Rihanna is currently touring throughout the U.S., having recently gotten over a show-stopping bout of Laryngitis in Boston. The singer will also be making a cameo in the summer comedy This is the End, in which she smacks a drunk Michael Cera for touching her ass.

    Seth MacFarlane Splits With Emilia Clarke

    Perhaps singing about seeing other actresses’ boobs isn’t the best way to keep a relationship together, even if it did help this year’s Oscars become one of the most memorable airings of the award show in recent history.

    E! news is reporting that Family Guy creator and Oscar host Seth MacFarlane has broken up with his girlfriend, Emilia Clarke.

    The report’s unnamed source didn’t blame MacFarlane’s behavior, however. The split is supposedly due to the performers’ different work schedules, which left them on different continents. The source told E! that the couple “have remained friends.”

    MacFarlane is working in the U.S. while Clarke is shooting the hit HBO TV show Game of Thrones in Europe. Clarke plays Daenerys Targaryen in the TV show, which is adapted from a series of popular fantasy novels authored by George R. R. Martin. MacFarlane is currently working on directing a movie called A Million Ways To Die in the West, which will star Amanda Seyfried, Liam Neeson, Sarah Silverman, and Charlize Theron.
