  • Bruce Willis Shows Letterman His “Corny” Invention

    Summertime.

A season for hitting the beach, backyard grilling, and of course enjoying fresh fruit and vegetables. Ever wonder if there was an easier way to eat corn on the cob? Bruce Willis visited David Letterman on Tuesday night to introduce his new invention called Hands-Free-Corn-Eating System.

Willis is an avid musician and harmonica player. His musical influence clearly impacted the design of his hands-free device. The ear of corn is attached to a harmonica neck wrap, which if adjusted properly, will position the sweet treat at mouth level. Willis even showed the audience how to apply butter to the corn with the help of a two-pronged butter hat.

Letterman was game to go along with the bit and shared several bites of the same ear with Willis.

Here’s a look at the clip.

It’s a bit messy, but if you need your hands free in order to hold other BBQ delights like a cheeseburger or cold refreshing beverage, then Willis’ new invention could become the next party trick.

The Die Hard actor could probably use a few laughs after having a difficult month. Willis and ex-wife Demi Moore reportedly took their youngest daughter, Tallulah Willis, to rehab for cocaine and alcohol problems. The 20-year-old fashion blogger was allegedly given an ultimatum by her parents that coerced her into the stint. A source revealed, “Tallulah was pretty much given an ultimatum. Her parents were about to take away everything from her.”

Sources also revealed that both Moore and Willis have frequently visited their daughter at The Meadows treatment center in Wickenburg, Arizona, where Tallulah has reportedly been recovering for the past few weeks.

Willis is currently out promoting Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, the follow-up movie to the 2005 original Sin City. The much-anticipated Frank Miller/Robert Rodriguez crime thriller is slated for an August 22 release. The film also stars Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Josh Brolin.

  • Eva Green: Sin City Poster Has Too Much Boob, Says MPAA

Eva Green is no stranger to on-screen nudity. The actress has bared skin in a handful of movies and TV shows throughout the past decade, most recently in this year’s 300: Rise of an Empire. It’s no surprise then, that Green’s shapely figure was chosen for a new teaser poster for Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez’s upcoming movie Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. The only problem is that the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) believes the poster is just too sexy to be released.

According to a New York Post Page Six report, the poster has been rejected by the MPAA for sporting “nudity.” More specifically, the MPAA stated that the “curve of under breast and dark nipple/areola circle visible through sheer gown” were what made the poster too risque. The MPAA serves as the movie ratings board for the U.S. and is well-known for its harsh stance toward sex and nudity in cinema.

The poster was released in its original form on the Sin City Facebook page. Though it’s not entirely clear that Green’s nipples can truly be seen, her silhouette is clearly defined by the image’s stylistic lighting.

Of course, the controversy over the poster is likely to get it seen by many more people on the internet than it would have been in a few thousand movie theaters across the U.S. Though the Post report states that the MPAA and movie executives are ironing out a compromise to allow the poster’s release, this type of controversy is exactly the kind of free advertising that marketing executives dream of. The poster in its original form is now destined to become a collector’s item and people across the internet have now been reminded in a very provocative way that Sin City: A Dame to Kill For will hit theaters this August.

  • Jessica Alba Does ‘Supermom’ With Style

Jessica Alba is the quintessential Supermom–and she fulfills the role with style and grace. The 32-year-old actress recently enjoyed a child-free vacation in Paris, where she not only dished about how much fun she was having getting away from it all, but also shared about her many roles and responsibilities.

Alba will soon return to the big screen as the voice of an extra-terrestrial villain in the animated kids’ movie Escape From Planet Earth. She jokes that she’s excited about doing a film that her kids can actually see.

In addition to her film career, Jessica Alba is CEO of her business, The Honest Company, as well as an advocate for gay rights, global education and female CEOs.

She talked about her company during an interview with the Independent.

“We do detergents, household cleaning products, personal care products, diapers and wipes; all non-toxic and hypo-allergenic,” says the actress who herself suffered from childhood asthma.

“It’s a game-changer in the family product business. I’m the president and founder and it’s grown quicker than we ever imagined. I’m really proud of it. I spend more time at my office now than on the movie set,” she explained. Alba famously embarked on her business enterprise after her eldest daughter, Honor, almost ate her diaper.

Through The Honest Company, Alba is also behind donations to many young mothers in need.

In addition to her role in Escape From Planet Earth, Jessica Alba will also soon appear on screen opposite Pierce Brosnan in the romantic comedy How to Make Love Like an Englishman, as well as in the period drama Dear Eleanor and comedies Stretch and Barely Lethal.

Fans are no doubt most eager to see Alba as she reprises her role as dancer Nancy Callahan in Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. That is sure to be another of those films she won’t allow her children to see.

It’s certainly impressive to watch Jessica Alba balance her family life, her business life, and her incredible film career. It’s high time she writes a book on being a ‘Supermom,’ and shares a few tips for other women so they can at least attempt to do the same.

  • Jessica Alba Juggles Being A Mom, Actress, And CEO

Jessica Alba is conquering all lately. The actress, spokeswoman, mother, and CEO has been successfully balancing movie shoots, corporate meetings, and changing diapers. Jessica has six movies lined up this year (she’s currently shooting horror flick The Veil ) and recently became the beauty ambassador for Braun in their #Breakfree campaign. All while running her own business, The Honest Company, which makes cleaning products, personal care products, and detergents that are non-toxic and hypo-allergenic. Dang!

About her partnership with Braun, the company says they chose Jessica because she is a “strong, passionate woman and an advocate for others — the perfect ambassador to talk about the role our products play in helping women to feel their best.” Jessica adds: “I completely relate to feelings of self-doubt, but I also know how empowering female positive reinforcement is. Let’s give each other the confidence to break free from self-doubt and all walk a little bit taller.”

Meanwhile, The Honest Company just turned two years old, with a Santa Monica headquarters that employs 100 staff. “It’s a game-changer in the family product business; t’s grown quicker than we ever imagined. I’m really proud of it,” Jessica gushes when talking of her business.

Of course, Jessica is most well-known for her numerous acting roles, perhaps most famously for Fantastic Four and Sin City. Jessica will reprise her role as dancer Nancy Callahan in Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, a sequel to the 2005 comic adaptation, though the events of this film take place before the first one. Alba’s role in the film will be adapted from existing Sin City comics by Frank Miller, while other characters popping up in the sequel, including Joseph Gordon-Levitt, are receiving brand new stories.

But perhaps what means the most to Jessica is being a mom; Alba has two daughters, Honor, 6, and Haven, 3. She married husband Cash Warren six years ago, when she was seven months pregnant. Seems to still be bliss as the family was recently seen vacationing in Berlin on their “spring break.” Kudos to Jessica for balancing her busy, but happy, healthy, and fun lifestyle.

  • Eva Green Is Featured In A Set Of New Images From “Sin City: A Dame To Kill For”

The first film was known for featuring its actresses in sexy attire, and gained plenty of attention for it. Jessica Alba and others are back from Sin City, and will be joined by Eva Green, who is already impressing fans.

It was just weeks ago that the Sin City: A Dame To Kill For released its long-awaited trailer, and clearly got some fans excited for the new film. The sequel is long overdue, and will be released nine years after the original film.

Eva Green was most recently seen in 300: Rise Of An Empire, which rose to the top of the box office in its debut, which was clearly expected. It is the sequel to the hit 2007 film 300, and the sequel features just as much action, and even a topless scene with Green.

Sin City: A Dame To Kill For just released three new images to promote the upcoming film, and the first features an intriguing pose from Eva Green. She is nude in the picture, but with artfully placed smoke, nothing is revealed.

In order to follow suit with the original film’s outstanding ensemble cast, Sin City: A Dame To Kill For has added a number of stars, and Eva Green will be playing the dame that is featured in the title. Other additions to the sequel include Joseph Gordon Levitt, Josh Brolin, Jeremy Piven and Ray Liotta.

In each of the images, just one character is shown, and the other two feature Josh Brolin and Jessica Alba. Alba is featured with long black hair, and holding a gun up, while Brolin has his face bandaged up, and looks like he is pointing his at someone.

Sin City was clearly nothing like other films that were being released at the time, and was based on a series of graphic novels by Frank Miller. Miller is also the screenwriter for the film, and co-director, along with Robert Rodriguez.

Speaking about the film’s experimentation, director Robert Rodriguez said in a recent interview at SXSW that “The first ‘Sin City’ was such an experiment. We weren’t sure what audiences would accept, because it was just completely different. They liked it, so [I] could push it forward and do more what I wanted of the first time.”

Sin City: A Dame To Kill For will be told in four different segments, much like a comic book would, and display the creative film-making technique that Rodriguez has utilized before. The new film will finally be released on August 22, 2014.

  • Sin City: A Dame To Kill For Releases First Trailer [Video]

One of the most anticipated films in recent years, for some people at least, has finally released its first trailer. Sin City: A Dame To Kill For has been in the making for a long time, and the sequel to Sin City will come 9 years after the original film.

In 2005, Sin City introduced audiences to an action packed neo-noir thriller that boasted an ensemble cast with plenty of talented actors that people were familiar with, and a few that have become much more popular since the film’s release. After years of waiting, the corrupt and violent characters from the first film are back for more, and are ready to seek revenge.

Several big stars such as Bruce Willis, Jessica Alba, Mickey Rourke, and Rosario Dawson will return from the original film. The sequel has added a ton of new people as well, and the long list of stars includes people such as Joseph Gordon Levitt, Josh Brolin, Jeremy Piven and Ray Liotta.

The film was shot in black and white, and the sequel will be as well, which gives people a bit of a comic book type of an environment. The films are also based on a series of graphic novels written by Frank Miller. Miller is also the screenwriter for the film, and co-director, along with Robert Rodriguez.

Director Robert Rodriguez is known for collaborating with fan favorite Quentin Tarantino on multiple projects, while he was also responsible for the Desperado trilogy, and the Spy Kids films.

Rodriguez recently spoke about the film after some early photos were released and said “There’s something about the way Sin City works that I thought would lend itself very well to 3-D because the images are so stripped down and abstract…you almost can see it better in 3-D.”

At the time, fans were given a first look at photos revealing a new character that will be played by Joseph Gordon Levitt named Johnny, a gambler, in addition to the old favorites portrayed by Jessica Alba and Bruce Willis.

Sin City: A Dame To Kill For will also be told in four different segments, much like a comic book would, and displaying a creative film-making technique that Rodriguez has utilized before.

The long overdue sequel to the 2005 cult hit Sin City will finally be released to theaters on August 22, 2014.

  • Jessica Alba Talks About Her Addiction and Drug of Choice

Jessica Alba Talks About Her Addiction and Drug of Choice

Jessica Alba claims she is addicted to acting. In fact, she calls the profession her “drug.” It’s plain to see in the trailer for Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, which premieres in August, that she is indeed high on her sultry role.

“It’s been liberating to be able to play someone who’s a badass or promiscuous because that’s the opposite of who I am…It’s like a drug,” she says in the March issue of Nylon magazine.

Alba adds that her acting roles give her a break from her real life.

“I don’t have to be a boss; I don’t have to be a wife; I don’t have to be a sister,” she says.

Playing all of these different characters has helped her gain a new perspective on life and a lot of confidence, too.

“Before I was so fearful of failure and judgment that I was scared to put myself out there,” she says.

Now she is secure in the fact that “you don’t have to be a robot, you don’t have to be appropriate all the time.”

Jessica Alba also talks about another huge bonus–the other skills she has acquired by playing the roles of other people.

“I know how to ride a motorcycle, I can do wire work like you see in the circuses. I can shoot a gun. I know how to fight, too,” she says.

Those are some definite pluses to learning while on someone else’s payroll. Just think of what the average person would have to pay to take lessons to learn even just one of these skills.

Jessica Alba rocks a hot ensemble on the March cover of Nylon, sporting a sexy crop top. Inside the magazine pages she shows off a few looks, including hot pink pants and some menswear, too. She is wearing nOir Jewelry in her cover shot, too, and they were all too happy to share the look with their fans via Twitter.

This 32-year-old wife and mom does an exemplary job of juggling her many roles. And she embraces all of her acting roles with a passion that will no doubt keep her on the big screen for a long time to come.
