  • George Zimmerman’s Girlfriend Details Their Argument

The argument that took place between George Zimmerman and his girlfriend Samantha Scheibe in November, resulted in Zimmerman being arrested for domestic violence, and yesterday police released Scheibe’s 30-minute interview detailing the incident.

“The bag was right there, let’s just say this is the couch, he grabbed it, unlocked it, opened it,” explained Scheibe,” who has since dropped the charges. “The gun would have been in the front right and bottom, here, so he grabbed it like this, like you would hold it like this.”

She then spoke of how Zimmerman grabbed a shotgun and proceeded to cock it to make sure a bullet was in the chamber.

“He picked up his AR and unloaded it. He took out the clip, and he whatever, the one bullet fell out, put the AR in his rifle bag and then he took the shotgun, and I don’t know cocked it. I don’t know he could have been making sure one was in the chamber. I assumed at that point that he was loading it, since he unloaded his other one until no bullets came out at all, and it made sense to me that obviously he wasn’t unloading it.”

Apparently, the fight began when Scheibe was texting an old boyfriend and Zimmerman got jealous.

In her frantic 911 call to police, she complained of the former neighborhood watchman breaking her stuff after asking him to leave. “He’s in my house, breaking all my s— because I asked him to leave,” she described. He’s got a freaking gun, breaking all my stuff right now.”

In July of 2013, Zimmerman was found not guilty of murdering 17-year old Trayvon Martin in a Florida housing development, and in September of that year his estranged wife Shellie Zimmerman also called police when she alleged that her husband was arguing with her while placing his hand on his gun.

  • George Zimmerman Accused of Stealing Furniture

Lake Mary Police say that they were called by George Zimmerman’s mother-in-law to the home George and Shellie Zimmerman rented from Shellie’s parents, Machelle and David Dean on Thursday. Machelle reportedly accused George of stealing furniture from, and damaging, the home. Shellie Zimmerman was out of town Thursday when the alleged furniture theft took place.

Police spokesman Zach Hudson said George Zimmerman was supposed to vacate the house by Thursday, and when the Deans came by to inspect it, they found furniture and a television missing and unknown damage. “We have a complaint that there are some items missing from 300 Sprucewood,” said Hudson. “There was some damage to the house. Who committed that damage, I don’t know. Was it there before hand, I don’t know. We’re trying to figure out exactly what we have here.”

George Zimmerman has not been a stranger to run-ins with the law since his acquittal in the controversial trial in which he was accused of murdering unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin.

Twice since the end of the trial, Zimmerman has been pulled over for speeding.

A few days after Shellie filed for divorce, he was arrested and briefly taken into custody after she told police Zimmerman punched her father in the nose and smashed her iPad. She also said that he threatened her while putting his hand on his gun. All this allegedly took place at the same home that police were called to Thursday. Despite police saying they never saw or confiscated a gun at the scene, she stands by that story, she told Matt Lauer on the Today Show.

“I did not see a gun, but I saw — I know my husband. I saw him in a stance and a look in his eyes that I have never seen before,” she said. “His shirt was halfway unbuttoned and he was putting his hand in his shirt and saying, ‘Please step closer, please step closer,’ so I think that logically I assumed he had a gun on him.”

Shellie hopes to move on with her life after the divorce is final. Her attorney, Kelly Sims, who appeared with her on TODAY Thursday, said the divorce papers have been filed, but George has not been served with them because they don’t know where he is.

“(I’m) just focusing on myself,” she said. “I’ve lost 40 pounds since the trial. I’m really taking care of myself and moving forward with my life.”

  • George Zimmerman’s Wife Doubts His Innocence

In an interview on the “Today Show” yesterday, Shellie Zimmerman, former wife of George Zimmerman, stated that “I think anyone would doubt that innocence because I don’t know the person that I’ve been married to… I have doubts, but I also believe the evidence.”

Shellie, who had stood by George during his entire trial, has recently come forth with her thoughts toward George Zimmerman and his trial, following their recent divorce.

“I believe the evidence, but this revelation in my life has really helped me take the blinders off and start to see things differently,” Shellie said, referencing the recent domestic dispute between herself and George.

Earlier this month, Shellie Zimmerman filed for divorce, stating that “The marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken.” Shellie had been of much assistance to George during his trial, corroborating his story at every turn and even committing perjury in order to get him released on a lesser bail. However, when the couple returned home, Shellie said that their relationship just wasn’t the same: “He just kind of treated me like I was disposable. After standing by him, he kind of left and kind of went on a victory tour without me. I thought that I was living a life with him and that we were going to kind of rebuild after all this, and he had other plans for me.”

Apparently, those other plans included a physical confrontation at their Lake Mary, Florida home just a few days after Shellie filed for divorce. According to Shellie, George had given her permission to go to the home and gather her belongings while he wasn’t there. George did show up, though, and the two were quickly engaged in a heated argument. At one point during the domestic dispute, Shellie reported that George appeared to reach for a gun tucked in his shirt, a story corroborated by another witness.

In her call to 911, Shellie told the dispatcher “I don’t know what he’s capable of.” Matt Lauer questioned Shellie about this statement on the “Today Show”, asking her if she meant to intentionally call question to his behavior on the night when he shot Trayvon Martin. Shellie responded: “I really don’t know what he’s capable of. This person that I’m married to that I’m divorcing, I’ve kind of realized now that I don’t know him and I really don’t know what he’s capable of. I saw a look in his eyes that I’ve never seen before that day.”

These statements by his wife, the police reports that have been filed concerning the domestic dispute, and his multiple traffic violations can only make one wonder who George Zimmerman really is? It is apparent by now that there are two conflicting images: 1) The George Zimmerman who is an American patriot and upstanding citizen who feels a moral obligation to protect his country and neighborhood, as he was doing the night of the Trayvon Martin incident and the day he rescued a family from a car wreck; and 2) The George Zimmerman who feels compelled to continually break traffic laws, berate his wife, threaten others and brandish a gun, and shot total disregard for his own personal well-being.

  • George Zimmerman Taken Into Custody After Incident With Gun

“I don’t know what he’s capable of,” Shellie Zimmerman said of husband George Zimmerman in a 911 call on Monday. “I’m really scared.” George Zimmerman found himself in headlines again after police responded to a call at his Lake Mary, Florida home after a report of assault and making threats with a firearm. Shellie filed for divorce last week.

Reports say that Shellie called 911 to report Zimmerman for punching her father and for threatening them with a gun and a knife during an argument. “I don’t know if he’s going to start shooting at us or something. He’s in his car and he continually has his hand on his gun and he keeps saying ‘step closer’ and he’s just threatening all of us,” Shellie said during the 911 call.

After police responded to the Zimmerman home, Zimmerman was placed in “investigative detention” while they tried to sort things out. When Lake Murray police questioned Shellie, she changed her story from what she initially reported during the 911 call. She told police that she never saw a gun, and that things just got out of hand.

Neither Shellie nor her father wanted to pursue charges against Zimmerman. Lake Mary Police Chief Steve Bracknell commented on the altercation and explained that Zimmerman wasn’t arrested because “domestic violence can’t be invoked because she has changed her story and says she didn’t see a firearm.” Police are still investigating the incident.

Zimmerman’s lawyer Mark O’Mara said the argument started after the two ran into each other while moving out of the house, but that the situation was typical of a couple that is undergoing a stressful divorce. “I know the 911 tape suggests that Shellie was saying something but I think that was heightened emotions,” O’Mara said. “There may have been some pushing and touching. That happens a lot in divorce situations…Nobody was injured.”

  • George Zimmerman Divorce: His Wife Wants Out

Less than two months after George Zimmerman was acquitted of murder charges in the death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, Zimmerman finds himself headed to court again after his wife Shellie filed divorce papers. Shellie, who remained by Zimmerman’s trial throughout his arrest and trial, is no longer living with Zimmerman.

According to a statement made by Shellie’s lawyer, she wants to end the marriage because of “disappointment.” After Zimmerman was arrested and Shellie herself was arrested on perjury charges for lying about the couple’s financial situation, the couple’s relationship went downhill. “The marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken,” the divorce pleading says.

Zimmerman’s brother Robert confirmed that Shellie filed for divorce on Twitter:

The news that Shellie wants to end the marriage doesn’t come as too much of a shock after she told “Good Morning America” that she wasn’t sure whether things would work out last week. “I can’t tell you how many nights I’ve gone to bed or laid awake at night saying, ‘I wish to God that these circumstances had been different,’” Shellie said. Shellie also says that the couple lived in “terror” during the months following her husband’s arrest.

The final straw seemed to be when Zimmerman wasn’t supportive of Shellie when she faced perjury charges. She said that she felt like she was “hung out to dry,” plus Zimmerman was a no-show during her trial that concluded last week. Shellie pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor perjury charge and was sentenced to a year of probation.

In the divorce papers, Shellie has asked for Zimmerman to provide her with life assurance, grant her the custody of their two dogs and wants their debts and assets to be split equally. The Zimmermans have more than $90,000 in debt.

  • Shellie Zimmerman To Rethink Marriage

    Shellie Zimmerman To Rethink Marriage

Shellie Zimmerman, who is the current wife of acquitted murder suspect George Zimmerman, has revealed that the couple’s relationship may soon be coming to an end. The news comes only one day after she took a plea deal in her own perjury case.

In an ABC News interview she was asked if she wanted to stay married to George, which she responded to with a vague “That’s something I’m going to have think about.” It is obvious that the legal strain on both parties, especially George and his place of infamy in the American consciousness, has taken its toll on their marriage.

Zimmerman also revealed some details about the couple’s life over the past year, saying that “We have been pretty much gypsies for past year and a half. We lived in a 20-foot trailer in the woods, scared every night that someone was going to find us and that it would be horrific.” She also revealed that the discontent goes back farther than that. She claims that she was not home on the night that her husband confronted slain teen Trayvon Martin because the two of them had had a fight.

Zimmerman’s perjury charge stemmed from her lying during her husband’s bail hearing in April of last year. The plea deal she agreed to will allow her to avoid a felony conviction, which would have kept her from registering to be a nurse, which she has nearly finished schooling for.

While public opinion on the Zimmerman family and their acquittals in the face of extremely serious charges is bound to differ, it appears that the trials, legal and otherwise, have brought them to a crossroads in their marriage.
