  • Khloe Kardashian, Lamar Odom ‘Definitely’ Have a Sex Tape

Could we have another Kardashian sex tape on the way?

According to Khloe Kardashian, there is at least one sex tape out there featuring her and estranged husband Lamar Odom.

“I’ve definitely recorded myself having sex with my ex-husband,” Khloe said on this past Sunday’s Watch What Happens Live. “But not like, talking to camera.”

Of course, the most famous Kardashian sex tape comes courtesy of Kim, who made one with then-boyfriend Ray J in 2003. It was “leaked” in 2007. Though Kim Kardashian threatened to sue over the tape, it pretty much put her on the map.

In more serious Khloe and Lamar news, Lamar Odom is walking again – and Khloe is thrilled.

“It’s such a relief,” she recently told Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan on Live! With Kelly and Michael . “It was terrifying and scary. No one knew what was going to happen. And what’s crazy is because he’s an athlete, I really think having so many years of working out every single day — he wasn’t even walking three weeks ago, and now he’s walking.”

Odom recently left Cedars Sinai Medical Center and was transferred to a private rehab facility.

  • Julianne Hough: “I’m Really Bad at Phone Sex”

Julianne Hough: “I’m Really Bad at Phone Sex”

Julianne Hough is a great dancer – we all know that. She also sings and acts.

But you probably wouldn’t want to hire her as a phone sex operator.

Hough is Cosmopolitan magazine’s new cover girl, and inside she discusses her long distance relationship with her fiance Brooks Laich – more specifically, phone sex.

“Oh, for sure. But I’m really bad at it … I’ll get halfway through and start laughing. It’s an art. I applaud people who are good at it. They need to come and help me keep a straight face!” she tells Cosmo.

Yeah, sometimes one does feel a bit silly, right?

Hough also talks about how she met her fiance.

“I did a horror movie that never got released. I’m convinced the only reason I was meant to do that movie was to meet my fiancé. Six years prior, Teddy Sears, my co-star, tried to invite Brooks — who was a good friend of his — to visit him in L.A. Brooks, who knows nothing about pop culture, joked, ‘What are you going to do — hook me up with that Juicy Fruit starlet?’ He’d seen the commercial and was like, ‘Where do I meet a girl like that?’ I was the girl in the commercial! Teddy remembered that comment and texted Brooks, ‘You’re never going to guess who I’m doing a movie with.’”

Laich, a hockey player, and Hough got engaged last August.

We are overwhelmed with joy and excitement to share with you our recent engagement! #fiancé #love

  • Brianne Altice: Lawsuit Against School in Teacher Sex Case Dismissed

A lawsuit against the Utah school district which employed convicted sex offender and former teacher Brianne Altice has been dismissed.

Altice, 35, pleaded guilty back in April to three counts of forcible sex abuse, admitting she had sexual encounters with several of her students at Davis High school.

A couple months later, one of the students who said he was sexually abused by Altice sued the Davis School District.

The lawsuit claimed that the district was at fault for not protecting its students from Altice’s abuse. Apparently, Altice has been fired from another job for alleged sexual misconduct before being hired by the David School District.

But a Utah judge has ruled against the plaintiffs, saying the law protects schools from liability when it comes to student assaults.

The lawyer for the student who filed the lawsuit says they will appeal. The suit seeks nearly $700,000 in damages.

  • Maggie Gyllenhaal Talks Sex, Nudity at ‘Hollywood Reporter’ Roundtable

Maggie Gyllenhaal dished about both sex and nudity with regard to the film world at a recent Hollywood Reporter roundtable. The conversation also included Taraji P. Henson, Viola Davis, Jessica Lange, Ruth Wilson, and Lizzy Caplan.

As sex and nudity so often do, the points Maggie Gyllenhaal made on the subjects added definite intrigue to the roundtable discussion.

The Honourable Woman star spoke of how she was told on more than once occasion that she didn’t quite live up to Hollywood’s standards for beauty or sexuality.

“When I was really young, I auditioned for this really bad movie with vampires,” Maggie Gyllenhaal shared. “I wore a dress to the audition that I thought was really hot. Then I was told I wasn’t hot enough. My manager at the time said, ‘Would you go back and sex it up a little bit?’ So I put on leather pants, a pink leopard skinny camisole and did the audition again and still didn’t get the part. (Laughter.) After that, I was like, ‘OK, f— this!’”

Sex scenes in films hold a great deal of intrigue for the actress.

“I think sex in film is so interesting,” Maggie Gyllenhall says. “It’s uncomfortable to take your clothes off in front of people you don’t know, but it can be an opportunity for really interesting acting. I’m 37, and I’ve had two babies, and I’m really interested in nudity now.”

Fake doesn’t translate into sexy for Maggie Gyllenhaal. In a world–especially in her Hollywood world–where so many people have undergone cosmetic procedures to capture their eternal youth, there’s something very refreshing about her attitude.

“Isn’t it so much hotter to see a woman on TV who looks like an actual woman, someone whose arms aren’t perfect?” she asks. “I am much more turned on when I see people’s bodies that look like bodies I recognize.”

Maggie Gyllenhaal has grown into an actress that many now revere as not just amazingly talented, but incredibly sexy as well.

Do you suppose her competition from that long-ago vampire movie is still in the acting business? And if so, is she as naturally beautiful as Maggie Gyllenhaal?

  • Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon Take Responsibility for Madoff Mess; Have Sex Anyway

Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon may seem like they lead charmed lives. He is somehow tied to every actor you will ever see by a maximum of six degrees, and she is married to Kevin Bacon.

In truth, things have not always gone easily for Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon. Even though they make lots of money in their acting careers, they experienced a scary period a few years ago when money they had invested disappeared. Sedgwick and Bacon, like many others, had trusted their money to Bernie Madoff. When Madoff’s financial scheme collapsed and he went to prison, they lost what Bacon only describes as “a lot of f—ing money”.

Bernie Madoff was arrested in December 2008 and pleaded guilty to 11 federal felonies in March 2009. He was sentenced to 150 years in jail.

Many times, when couples have financial trouble, the marriage and relationships get hit hard, fast. But Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon looked at things differently during that trying period.

“I don’t think there was a moment where it was like, that thing happened and then we got pissed at each other. It was sort of the opposite,” Kevin Bacon told GQ about how he and Sedgwick handled the problem. “We kind of went, ‘Holy s - - t. Let’s . . . I don’t know. Let’s have sex or something. It’s free!’”

What Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon realized is that they could recover.

“There were so many people who got hit so much harder than us,” Bacon said. “We knew we were going to have each other and our kids were OK. They were through school, almost. We both felt like we would work.”

Part of the reason Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon were able to handle their setback with aplomb is that they took responsibility for their part in the problem.

“Part of being a man is learning to take responsibility for your successes and for your failures,” Kevin Bacon says. “When things don’t go as well as I’d like, I don’t blame anyone else; it’s nobody’s fault but mine.”

Does that include the enormous amount of money he and Kyra Sedgwick lost to Bernie Madoff?

“Yes, I take full responsibility for that, too,” he says. “I made that investment; no one put a gun to my head. I was definitely angry. Angry at him, but also angry with myself, for not doing enough research, for trusting people that I shouldn’t have. It’s kind of a wake-up call. You have to learn from your experiences, whether they be emotional, or financial.”

Bacon is banking money now, thanks to his series The Following, while Kyra Sedgwick has a new series with Jennifer Beals called Proof.

What is it with Kyra Sedgwick and 80’s dance movie stars?

  • Eva Lovia Is Not Just an Astronaut Porn Star, She’s an Entrepreneur

Eva Lovia is an interesting item. Sure, she’s a porn star. But Eva Lovia is also a hot trending topic, passing other porn stars like Alexis Texas, Asa Akira, Lisa Ann, and Sasha Grey — usually high-ranking in search engines — by a country mile lately.

Eva Lovia has gotten lots of attention due to a well-publicized campaign from Pornhub. The outrageously famous Internet porn site has announced plans to send two porn stars and a six-person crew into space to film a porn video. What is more, they have enlisted Eva Lovia and Johnny Sins to help them promote this project in a crowdfunding scheme that would make Donald Trump proud.

The Indiegogo campaign aims to raise $3.4 million, which Pornhub figures is enough to get them to suborbital space on some carrier yet to be determined, shoot the film, and make it available to their adoring public. The project is called #sexploration.

Getting attention from the straight community has sure made a difference in their fundraising efforts. They have raised over $18,000 as of this writing, which is only one percent of the goal they intend to reach, but that amount came courtesy of over 900 people in just three days.

With Eva Lovia as the face of the campaign, the company has high hopes of getting the money. They tout her as having universal appeal because of her mixed-heritage looks. “Mixing up her American, Japanese and Spanish blood, she’s like a world tour of wanking material,: their site proclaims.

Lovia was born in South Carolina, but her ethnicity is often listed as “Eurasian.” She’s 26 years old, and has only been “in the business” for two years. But she is staying busy, even on her feet.

Eva Lovia also has her fingers in other income streams. She has launched a product with Digital Productions called “D*ck Bib,” which also is running a crowdfunding campaign via Indiegogo.

She recently announced a Fleshlight model based on her “specifications.”

But the project that is gaining her so much attention lately is definitely the spacefaring porn plans. The Indiegogo campaign has a similar perk structure for donors that other normal campaigns have. Their perk slot have nicknames. The highest three are Apollo 69, Black Hole, and Uranus, respectively.

    $1 gets you a certificate.
$10 gets you a day-early viewing of the video
$20 gets a video chat with Eva Lovia and Johnny Sins
$25 gets an HD copy of the video
$50 gets a one-week subscription to Johnny Sins website
    $100 gets a swag bag and t-shirts
$200 gets a hand-signed copy of the video
$500 gets a signed photo of Eva Lovia and Johnny Sins, plus a shoutout during filming, shown in the blooper reel
$1000 gets a phone call from Johnny Sins or Eva Lovia
$5000 gets a private lunch date with Eva Lovia or Johnny Sins
$10,000 gets to in to the launch party and your name in the credits
$20,000 you get to map out a scene, including positions, dialogue, etc.
$30,000 gets your branding on the space suits in the film
$50,000 you get props (real props) from the spacefaring film set
$150,000 you get one of the two spacesuits worn by Eva Lovia or Johnny Sins

  • Maggie Gyllenhaal Wants Film Sex: ‘I’m Really Interested In Nudity Now’

Maggie Gyllenhaal has arrived. If her own body of work and fantastic reputation weren’t enough to indicate that, then her inclusion in a roundtable conversation with a pantheon of fantastic actresses should.

Maggie Gyllenhaal sat down with Jessica Lange, Lizzy Caplan, Viola Davis, Ruth Wilson, and Taraji P. Henson for a Hollywood Reporter roundtable that covered all the hot touch points about actresses in the business today. Race, sexism, and aging were dissected and chewed over among these A-list talents.

Maggie Gyllenhaal revealed that she used to be told that she was not “sexy enough” or “pretty enough” for parts she auditioned for. Gyllenhaal told one story that illustrated her point.

“When I was really young, I auditioned for this really bad movie with vampires,” Gyllenhaal recounted.

That doesn’t mean that Gyllenhaal is not interested in doing sex scenes on film.

“I think sex in film is so interesting,” Gyllenhall says now. “It’s uncomfortable to take your clothes off in front of people you don’t know, but it can be an opportunity for really interesting acting. I’m 37, and I’ve had two babies, and I’m really interested in nudity now.”

The interesting thing is that, by rejecting the demands of others regarding how “sexy” she was supposed to look, Maggie Gyllenhaal has achieved sex symbol status. This allows Gyllenhaal to begin to explore that part of film without the sordid difficulties it may hold for actresses who were aiming to “be sexy” in a role.

“I was interested in it [when I was younger], too. But I was never the actress asked to be the hot girl who took her clothes off on her first day of work. I was never objectified that way.”

But Maggie Gyllenhaal is not interested in fake, plastic representations of femininity and looks.

“Isn’t it so much hotter to see a woman on TV who looks like an actual woman, someone whose arms aren’t perfect?” Gyllenhaal asks. “I am much more turned on when I see people’s bodies that look like bodies I recognize.”

  • Nicki Minaj Demands Equality in Bed and in Business

Nicki Minaj Demands Equality in Bed and in Business

Nicki Minaj said in “All Things Go,” from her album The Pinkprint:

    “Life is a movie
    There’ll never be a sequel
    And I’m good with that
As long as seven years from now I’m takin’ my daughter to preschool”

Nicki Minaj is talking about having kids again in an interview she did to accompany her Cosmo cover shoot for June.

“Ten years from now, I will have two children, unless my husband wants three. I will be into my fitness a lot more, I will stop yo-yo dieting, and I’ll be a housewife with careers that I can run from home. I want to be able to cook for my children, bake cookies for them, and watch them grow up. I just want to be Mommy. Take them to school, go to the parent-teacher conference, help them with their homework, and put their work on the refrigerator.”

The husband Nicki Minaj refers to is her now-finacé Meek Mill.

Speaking of her relationship with Meek Mill, Nicki Minaj reveals that she has some specific demands when it comes to her intimate relations with Meek.

“I demand that I climax. I think women should demand that. I have a friend who’s never had an orgasm in her life. In her life! That hurts my heart. It’s cuckoo to me. We always have orgasm interventions where we, like, show her how to do stuff. We’ll straddle each other, saying, ‘You gotta get on him like that and do it like this.’ She says she’s a pleaser. I’m a pleaser, but it’s fifty-fifty.”

When it comes to equality, Nicki Minaj also insists on that when it comes to pay. She says she researches to see what others make to be sure she is not getting short-changed in business deals.

“Women are uncomfortable talking about money. I know it’s taboo to discuss it at work. Technically, you shouldn’t, but you need to know what people around you are making. Otherwise, you’re not going to know what you’re worth. You have to ask questions. ‘What is this person getting?’ Do your research. I’ve always been pretty competitive in terms of my pay.”

  • Elizabeth Banks Says She Has a Superpower

Elizabeth Banks Says She Has a Superpower

Elizabeth Banks says that her relationship with her husband of 12 years started with a less-than-romantic premise.

“I didn’t meet my husband and think, I’ve met the man I’m going to marry,” she says in the interview. “I was like, He’s cute. I’ll fuck him, because I’m 18 and in college.”

Well, that’s a start. She wasn’t starry-eyed. But what about now? Are they just stuck together?

“Really, what happened was I’ve never met anyone that I liked more,” Elizabeth Banks said. “In the early years, did I have crushes or little interests here and there? I know my husband did, and so did I, but we stayed together.”

But their relationship was not just about hanging in there until they were in their 40s and couldn’t go anywhere else. Elizabeth Banks says there relationship is great on all levels.

“We have always dreamed about our life together. And we work together every day, and we have a lot of respect for each other on every level. And then there’s love. And then there’s lust. So it’s great,” Banks continued.

Elizabeth Banks recently directed Pitch Perfect 2. She said it was an opportunity that she could not turn down.

“Once you get offered a studio job, as a woman, its really hard to say no because they don’t let women do this very often,” she said. “So I knew I needed to embrace it and I couldn’t mess it up. Because if you mess it up, they don’t let you do it again, and you become representative of female directors as a whole. Like, ‘See girls can’t do it.’”

Even though she is a stunning-looking woman, Elizabeth Banks is also seen as a powerhouse. She credits her comic timing for that power.

“I find making people laugh to be a really special ability. It’s like having a superpower.”

“The greatest moment I ever had was when I made John Cleese and Steve Martin laugh at a Vanity Fair Oscar party,” she says. “I’m like, the biggest fan of both of them, and I screwed my courage to the sticking place – that’s Shakespeare – and walked up to them, made some comment. I don’t remember what I said, something charming. They both laughed, and I had a drop the mic moment.”

  • Groupon Recalls Fake, Possibly Holey Condoms

Groupon Australia has admitted that it sold a bunch of counterfeit condoms that may, in fact, be full of holes.

The condoms were sold between March 12 and April 10. If you do the math, and it’s not a hard one, you’ll realize there’s a good chance many of these holey condoms have been deployed already.

According to the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission, the condoms were branded as Durex ‘Extra Safe’, ‘Thin Feel’ and ‘Performa’ varieties – but were in fact counterfeit.

“The condoms may be counterfeit products with defects such as holes in the latex,” says the ACCC. “The condoms may not prevent pregnancy or protect users against sexually transmitted diseases, which can result in serious illness or death.”

    Oops.

The Australian government Department of Health has issued an advisory, saying,

“Counterfeiting is a problem for all major condom brands and consumers should be alert for potential fakes. Signs that might indicate a potential counterfeit products include suspiciously low prices, poor quality of printing on the packaging and whether information on the foil packaging of individual condoms match that on the box … In this situation, the seller was Edgelounge Enterprises (trading as Citrus Beat), who was responsible for direct shipment of the affected products to customers.”

Groupon has offered customers a full refund on any returned condoms.

“Customers are our utmost priority at Groupon and we take their health and safety very seriously. All customers who purchased the counterfeit products have been proactively contacted by Groupon notifying them of the recall and have been advised to discontinue use immediately, dispose or return the goods, and seek professional medical advice if they have concerns about their health,” said Groupon Australia in a statement.

According to The Independent, this is not a rare occurrence:

Counterfeiting is a serious problem for condom manufacturers, with cheap fake condoms being produced in their millions across the world, many of them in China.

Shanghai Police yesterday announced they had seized three million fake condoms that contained toxic metals, with officers reporting that the lubricant used to coat the condoms was so disgusting that it made them feel sick.

Bottom line: If you bought bulk condoms from a Groupon in Australia over the past month and a half – don’t use them.

  • Suzanne Somers Has Sex Everyday, Sometimes Twice

Suzanne Somers is one of the oldest people to ever compete on Dancing with the Stars. But it is something she does daily off her feet that she is getting a reputation for.

Back in 2013, Suzanne Somers revealed on The Talk that she and her husband Alan have sex “a couple times a day.” Somers has been married to Alan Hamel since 1977, when her most famous show Three’s Company first started. Alan is now 78 years old.

And what about now? Does her daily sex habit still stand? Somers’ pro dance partner Tony Dovolani told everybody:

“She does not miss a day. And if they do they do it twice on weekends.”

Some may most vividly remember Suzanne Somers from her role as the snort-laughing, ditzy Chrissy on Three’s Company, where she played the epitome of a dumb blonde. But Suzanne Somers is anything but.

Suzanne Somers has released a whole stack of books, including two autobiographies, four diet books, and a book of poetry. Her book Ageless: The Naked Truth About Bioidentical Hormones is about bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. She is a living example of not letting one’s age determine that you are done with life.

Suzanne Somers has often been associated with health and fitness products and activities. She nearly surpassed her fame as Chrissy Snow by becoming the celebrity face for ThighMaster exercise equipment back in the 1980s.

Due to a pair of cancer scares in her life, Somers has written about and promoted alternative cancer therapies. In a statement expressing concern over her activities promoting treatments other than those typically used, a representative of the American Cancer Society hearkened back to the old “dumb blonde Chrissy Snow” stereotypes about Somers.

“I am very afraid that people are going to listen to her message and follow what she says and be harmed by it”, said the ACA’s chief medical officer. “We use current treatments because they’ve been proven to prolong life. They’ve gone through a logical, scientific method of evaluation. I don’t know if Suzanne Somers even knows there IS a logical, scientific method.”

Yeah, well Suzanne Somers gets laid daily.

  • Here’s the Most Popular Sex Song, According to Spotify

What’s the best song on Spotify for getting down to business?

According to the streaming company, it’s Intro by The XX:

Damn, that is a great song.

How does Spotify know this? Apparently, the company combed through 2.5 million user-curated playlists made for “sex”. The Guardian has the gender breakdown on those sex playlists – and if you guessed that men are more likely to create one then you’re absolutely right (it’s a 56% to 44% margin).

Here are the rest of the top Spotify sex songs … in a nice little playlist … just in time for Valentine’s Day …

That XX song is awesome, but only about two minutes long. Luckily there are plenty of looped versions on YouTube – you know, if you really, really like it.

  • Florida Man Used Fake Facebook Accounts to Lure Minors for Sex, Brought Baby Along for Meetup

A Florida Man is facing charges of unlawful sexual activity with a minor after police say he used Facebook to convince underage girls to meet him for sex.

The scheme was a bit more elaborate than just contacting young girls on Facebook and making a pass. 44-year-old Tadd Link Clukey reportedly created multiple fake profiles on the social network, posing as young, attractive girls with names like ‘Amanda Panzone’ and ‘Kaitlyn Beth’.

According to reports, Clukey would then send out random friend requests and once he got a few girls to bite, he’d begin establishing a relationship with them over Facebook.

Eventually, the conversations moved from Facebook to the telephone.

After that, Clukey, posing as the girls, would gauge their interest in having sex with an older man for money. According to WSVN, Clukey was successful in convincing at least two young girls, aged 15 and 16.

For his first actual meetup, Clukey apparently brought a baby with him.

    From WSVN:

One of Clukey’s victims was a 15-year-old girl who said she accepted a random Facebook friend request from another girl named Kaitlyn Beth. The girl agreed to meet an older man. The girl said she entered Clukey’s car where he asked her to remove her panties then penetrated her digitally. She told police Clukey did not do anything else because he had a baby boy “in a car seat in the rear seat of the truck.”

Months later Clukey contacted the 15-year-old again, this time taking her to a motel where they had sex. According to a police report, Clukey drove to a pharmacy to purchase an emergency contraceptive pill and told the girl to take it.

The Sun-Sentinel has the info on the other case:

On August 10, Clukey again posed as a girl, this time named “Amanda.” When a 16-year-old girl answered his friend request on Facebook, he asked her if she was interested in having sex with an older man for money, police said.

Clukey picked her up near her home. He drove her to a hotel in Margate where they had sex, then paid her and dropped her off, investigators said. They repeated the encounter a week later, according to police.

We’ve seen this exact M.O. play out in other cases of sexual misconduct involving Facebook. Usually, the predator will create multiple fake profiles – oftentimes pretending to be people closer to the targets’ age – and use them to gain some level of trust with the victims. After that, they’ll swing the idea of sex. We’ve seen this before – an older man pretending to be a young girl, who then brokers a sex-for-cash deal with an “older man”.

  • Chrissy Teigen, John Legend: Sexy, Sizzling Photo Shoot

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend steamed things up recently with their sexy, sizzling hot photo shoot. The spread appears in February’s issue of GQ magazine.

In one of the borderline erotica photos, Legend has his wife sprawled seductively across a dinner table, with her dress riding up and her ample cleavage front and center in the shot. In another, the two are on a bed, with Chrissy Teigen wearing a bra, underwear, and sexy heels.

February’s GQ doesn’t feature John Legend and Chrissy Teigen solely for the sex factor, however. The two are interviewed within its pages and they talk candidly about their efforts to secure food trucks for the Eric Garner protestors in New York City back in December.

“That was Chrissy’s idea,” Legend said, clearly proud of his wife.

Teigen added that she booked the vehicles from a rental site herself and was worried about whether the vendors would actually show up to cook and distribute the food.

“Obvously it’s kind of a hot-button topic–you don’t know who’s going to want to be involved,” she said. “But everybody was so down. And so for the cause.”

The cause most readers of GQ will be seeking when they pick up their February issue is Chrissy Teigen in her various stages of undress. Sure, they can say all they want about needing to know about the brains and beliefs behind this power couple, but there’s no question what they’re buying that magazine to see.

  • Bette Midler Calls Ariana Grande’s Sexy Image Ridiculous

Bette Midler is not impressed with pop singer Ariana Grande, and isn’t afraid to say so.

While speaking to the U.K.’s The Telegraph, Midler slammed female singers, specifically Grande’s AMA performance on Sunday, for using sex to sell their albums.

“It’s always surprising to see someone like Ariana Grande with that silly high voice, a very wholesome voice, slithering around on a couch looking so ridiculous,” the 68-year-old singer/actress told the publication.

Grande, who made a name for herself as a Disney Channel star in the original series Sam and Cat, performed at this year’s AMA awards, and her performance was full of sex appeal that did not sit well with Midler, who said she looked “silly beyond belief.”

“I mean, it’s silly beyond belief and I don’t know who’s telling her to do it,” Midler added. “I wish they’d stop. But it’s not my business, I’m not her mother. Or her manager. Maybe they tell them that’s what you’ve got to do. Sex sells. Sex has always sold.”

“Apparently people really like to pretend they’re having sex,” Midler continued. “They really like to slap each other’s butts. I mean, don’t ask me. It’s beyond me. I’m too old. I don’t know what the end game is going to be. I don’t know where you go from all that sex in your 20s. I don’t know how you sustain it.”

Midler has some advice for the young girls in the entertainment industry: “Trust your talent. You don’t have to make a whore out of yourself to get ahead. You really don’t.”

  • Sleep Apnea Gear Does Not Negatively Affect Sex Life

Sleep apnea is a sleep disorder that causes people to stop breathing while they are asleep. This serious disorder affects 18 million Americans, and one of the popular treatments for it is the continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) mask. Some people are hesitant to use these masks to treat their sleep apnea, even though doing so could be fatal. Why? Because they’re afraid that it will be a sexual turn-off.

If you do have the fear that wearing a sleep apnea mask will lead to trouble in the sack, you don’t need to. Researchers from Rosalind Franklin University in Chicago surveyed 52 patients who were prescribed CPAP masks, and according to the findings, the masks have no negative impact on one’s sexual life.

The detailed findings won’t be released until the end of the month at the annual meeting of the American College of Chest Physicians, but an article published in the journal Chest briefly described the study results.

Per the journal article on the study:

Erectile dysfunction (ED) is common in sleep apnea patients, but studies have shown that the use of CPAP improves ED. However, patients using CPAP may believe that the use of CPAP will have a negative influence on sexual quality, which can in turn make them less likely to use CPAP. Researchers conducted a survey to determine if sexual quality of life (SQOL) differs between CPAP-compliant and noncompliant patients. Patients were deemed to be compliant if they used CPAP more than 4 hours per night for 70% of days.

In this study, 52 patients with OSA on CPAP answered 10 questions pertaining to physical and emotional aspects of lovemaking. Of the 52 patients, 27 were compliant with CPAP, 25 were not. Both groups were similar in age, body mass index, ED, use of medication to treat erectile dysfunction, and presence of depression. Results showed that, when adjusting for all confounding variables, CPAP compliance does not predict sexual quality of life.

“This study suggests that CPAP compliance does not impair sexual quality of life in patients with sleep apnea,” said Dr. Mark Rosen, the medical director of Rosalind Franklin University.

This is great news for those who are hesitant to wear the mask, since hopefully it will convince them that they no longer have to decide between their health or having a sex life.

In other sleep apnea news, researchers have also discovered that the disorder may also cause hearing loss. This is in addition to other medical conditions associated with sleep apnea, such as heart disease, weight gain, and high blood pressure.

  • Mel B Allegedly Obsessed With Sex

Former Spice Girl Mel B is allegedly obsessed with sex and the obsession has caused problems between her and her friends.

A source close to the singer told femalefirst.co.uk. that the obsession began when Mel B started dating Stephen Belafonte, who is now her husband.

While it’s good for a married couple to have a healthy sex life, Mel B and Stephen allegedly can’t get enough of each other and have sex anytime they have some free time.

They also talk about it all the time and bring it up in the midst of other conversations.

They even ask other couples about their sex lives as well.

“It can be uncomfortable to be around. Mel is just as up-front as her crude stereotype suggests. She seems to constantly talk about her sex life and ask you about yours. Some people just can’t handle being around her. Her and Victoria Beckham do not get along at all,” a source said.

Mel B and Victoria go way back to the days when they were both Spice Girls, so it’s unfortunate that they are no longer speaking to each other.

The Spice Girls was a popular girl band in the 90s, but in spite of their success, they fell apart after only a few years.

While there were numerous rumors about what caused the group to split, Mel B claims that it was Geri Halliwell who caused them to fall apart.

“When Geri left the group, it was bad. She left on my birthday, and didn’t tell anybody… Just didn’t show up,” she said.

“We had the rest of the [‘Spiceworld’] tour. The American part of the tour…We had a five-year plan that got shortened after three years.”

Hopefully Mel B can get over her obsession and get her friends back.

  • Wireless Birth Control Could Hit the Market by 2018, Thanks to Bill Gates

The concept of implanting birth control that lasts for years is nothing new, but the idea of implanting remote-controlled birth control that can work for a decade and a half sure is.

But if things go according to plan, that kind of technology could be on the market in the next few years.

The MIT Technology Review reports on MicroCHIPS, a Lexington, Massachusetts company that has designed a wireless contraceptive chip that is meant to be implanted in the arm, abdomen, or buttocks and dispense 30 micrograms of levonorgestrel a day. The tiny chip is 20x20x7 millimeters and can be controlled wirelessly.

Yep, remote-controlled birth control. The device supposedly works for up to 16 years (most implanatables last for only a few years), and can be turned off when a woman wishes to conceive.

Apparently, the whole idea come from Bill Gates. Check out this from the MIT Technology Review:

The idea for the device originated two years ago in a visit by Bill Gates and his colleagues to Robert Langer’s MIT lab. Gates and his colleagues asked Langer if it were feasible to create birth control that a woman could turn on and off and use for many years. Langer thought the controlled release microchip technology he invented with colleagues Michael Cima and John Santini in the 1990s and licensed to MicroCHIPS might offer a solution.

You may know Gates as that Microsoft dude or as the man who’s trying to make a next-gen condom. MicroCHIPS is one of the many companies that have received backing from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. That Bill Gates is sure on the cusp of some sort of sexual technology breakthrough.

This isn’t entirely new ground for MicroCHIPS, who in 2012 announced clinical results from their first successful human trial of an implantable, wireless drug delivery device. That trial dealt with post-menopausal women and the device delivered a daily dose of an osteoporosis drug – but the wireless technology was similar to what they’re envisioning with the implantable birth control.

“This trial demonstrates how drug can be delivered through an implantable device that can be monitored and controlled remotely, providing new opportunities to improve treatment for patients and to realize the potential of telemedicine,” said Robert Langer, cofounder of MicroCHIPS, at the time of that trial.

Although the chip will have to undergo encryption to prevent tampering (nobody wants hacked birth control), the device is hoping to start testing in the US as soon as 2015 – and it could hit the market by 2018.

  • Hospital Leaked Patient’s Syphilis Diagnosis on Facebook, Claims Lawsuit

I’d imagine that being told you have an STD isn’t pleasant, but I’m pretty sure that it would be twice as awful if that news was made public – plastered all over Facebook, for instance.

That’s what one Cincinnati woman is alleging in a new lawsuit.

She claims that University of Cincinnati Medical Center employees posted a photo of her medical records on Facebook, to a group called “Team No Hoes.”

Apparently, the photo not only contained her name and other personal information, but also displayed the fact that she had been diagnosed with syphilis.

    Yikes.

“She was absolutely devastated. That is the most private of private medical information that was posted on Facebook and went out to a group on Facebook that had a huge dissemination,” Allen said. “For an employee of the University of Cincinnati Medical Center to post that information on a social media device that millions of people have access to, it’s above and beyond the law and that’s why we feel that they’re responsible,” the woman’s attorney told WLWT.

The suit not only name UC Medical center as a defendant, but also a hospital employee, a nurse, and the woman’s ex-boyfriend, who she claims masterminded the leak.

UC Medical Center would only comment that they haven’t yet received a copy of the suit and even if they had, they can’t comment on pending litigation.

The victim is seeking more than $25,000 in damages.

No word on any internal actions taken against the employees named in the suit, but I assume they’ll be canned faster than you can say Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.

  • A Big Sex Scandal Involving ‘Anti-Gay’ Republican Is Brewing, According to Some Redditor

A Big Sex Scandal Involving ‘Anti-Gay’ Republican Is Brewing, According to Some Redditor

It’s safe to say that the vast majority of the stuff people say on reddit is complete and utter bullshit. That’s because reddit exists on the internet, of which 99.9% is total bullshit. When anonymous users are given fake internet points for saying the most interesting or outrageous thing, why in the world would they stick to their boring lives? Lie away, Karma whores! Until I’m proven otherwise, I’ll remain cynical.

But it is worth nothing that earlier this week, a redditor said that they’d been in a same-sex relationship with an anti-gay Republican US Senator for three years, and that they planned on going public with the story in about three weeks.

    Immediate reaction?

The post occurred on r/AdviceAnimals, one of the site’s biggest subreddits. Our OP used the “confession bear” meme to state:

“I’ve been in a secret same-sex relationship with an anti-gay Republican U.S. Senator for 3 year–I’m going public 3 weeks from today.”

Both the user and post has been deleted, but you know as well as I do that nothing is ever truly deleted from the internet:

The user who posted the meme was u/ClostedinKansas. I’ll let you glean from that what you will.

The list of “things people have confessed to on reddit” is longer than the list of “major political scandals outed by redditors,” but this one is just funny. I’d love nothing more than to see an anti-gay Senator exposed in their hypocrisy, but I don’t think we should hold our breath on this one. Remember, fake internet points.

  • Ashley Madison Put Up a Rather Interesting Billboard in Little Rock

Ashley Madison, the online dating site for married people with the slogan “life’s short, have an affair,” has put up a rather interesting billboard in Little Rock, Arkansas.

I should say a rather interesting and rather appropriate billboard for Little Rock, Arkansas, home of our nation’s 42nd President.

“Who said cheaters never prosper. Happy Presidents Day!” reads the billboard, which features images of Bill Clinton, John F. Kennedy, and Franklin D. Roosevelt. Presidents Day is next Monday, February 17th.

Of course, Little Rock is the capital and largest city in Arkansas, home to Bill Clinton. He served as both the 40th and 42nd Governor of the state before taking a job at a much higher office. As we all know, Clinton was impeached in a ridiculous spectacle in 1998–all over an affair he had with 22-year-old White House intern Monica Lewinsky, and his subsequent “perjury and obstruction of justice.”

Though FDR’s extracurricular activities never got him impeached, the New Deal President is rumored to have had affairs with multiple women. Kennedy, on the other hand–well, we all know about Kennedy.

“Throughout history, men in positions of power – in particular, men in politics – have sought the romantic company of women who were not their wives,” says Noel Biderman. CEO and Founder, AshleyMadison.com. “We picked these three Presidents for the campaign, as each had well-known affairs during their Presidencies. Yet, despite their extra-marital dalliances, Americans revere each of these men as great leaders. That is because Americans love a champion, and they’re willing to forgive these types of transgressions when it comes to a so called winner.”

It’s interesting that all three politicians Ashley Madison chose to include in their new ad campaign are Democrats. I guess they decided that Larry Craig tapping his foot in the Minneapolis airport bathroom didn’t make for the best mental image.
