Scott Baio Wants Trump To Go Into Washington And “Blow It Up”

Scott Baio said recently that he’s fed up with his party’s candidates for president with one exception: Donald Trump.

The former Happy Days actor says he’s backing Trump because of his ability to communicate, unlike some other Republicans.

“They’ve lied and conned and B.S.ed me. They’re going to attack whomever the Republican nominee is and we need somebody to relentlessly, relentlessly attack Hillary. It’s the only way we’re going to win. I’m trying to be a classy guy, but to win elections nowadays, the Democrats and liberals attack viciously…it’s very simple, because when he speaks I understand him. He speaks like I speak, he communicates with people very well. I want him, as any one person can do, to go into Washington and blow it up,” Baio said.

Baio’s views aren’t sitting well with some, however, who have taken to Twitter to express their disbelief that he would endorse Trump.

Donald Trump made headlines again today after news broke that ISIS had claimed responsibility for the attacks in Brussels, killing dozens of people, saying that the U.S. should be careful in the future.

“I will tell you, I’ve been talking about this a long time, and look at Brussels. Brussels was a beautiful city, a beautiful place with zero crime. And now it’s a disaster city. It’s a total disaster, and we have to be very careful in the United States, we have to be very careful and very vigilant as to who we allow in this country,” Trump said.

  • Rob Lowe Under Fire for Insensitive Tweets About Paris Terror Attacks

Rob Lowe has coming under significant fire since posting what many consider insensitive Tweets regarding the terror attacks in Paris.

While many celebrities took to social media to share their shock, grief, prayers, and concerns, Rob Lowe called out France’s president.

    His Tweets began innocently enough.

Then the feel of Rob Lowe’s Tweets changed dramatically.

Rob Lowe was quickly berated for his Tweets.

Rob Lowe didn’t take kindly to these comments, and did his best to defend himself.

Were Rob Lowe’s initial remarks misconstrued? Were his more recent Tweets a case of “too little, too late?”

Not everyone believes Rob Lowe is insensitive. At least Scott Baio doesn’t.

What’s your take on Rob Lowe’s comments regarding yesterday’s massacre in Paris?

Might it be that everyone was very much on edge, and lashing out was something they could do to feel proactive?

  • Scott Baio: Wife Renee Diagnosed With Brain Tumor

Scott Baio, best known for his role as Chachi Arcola on the long-running TV show Happy Days, sustained a horrible blow earlier this week. His wife Renee has been diagnosed with a brain tumor.

The family is asking for prayers in the wake of this disturbing news, but is proceeding with faith and optimism.

The Charles in Charge actor and his wife have been married for seven years, and are the parents of a seven-year-old daughter, Bailey DeLuca.

Scott Baio shared word of his wife’s diagnosis via Facebook.

Just a few days ago we learned my wife, Renee has a meningioma brain tumor. Although 90% of these type of tumors are…

Following his announcement, Scott Baio asked via Twitter for prayers for Renee.

Those prayers multiplied quickly, prompting Scott Baio to thank those praying for his wife.

“My wife is my rock,” Scott Baio said in his Facebook announcement. “She refuses to even shed one tear, nor will she question God’s will. Renee, Bailey and I will get through this and along the way maybe help educate others to get checked out (MRI with contrast) as 6,500 people each year, mostly women get these tumors.”

Surely prayers for Scott Baio’s wife Renee will continue, and while they are aimed at her, will no doubt provide strength and comfort to him as well.

  • Kristy McNichol, Popular Actress of the 70s and 80s, Explains Why She Walked Away From Hollywood

Kristy McNichol, 52, was one of the most popular actresses during the 1970s and 80s when she suddenly decided to walk away from Hollywood.

It came as quite a shock for fans of her movies, which included the wildly popular Little Darlings with Tatum O’Neill and Matt Dillon, and TV shows like Family and Empty Nest.

On Wednesday night, McNichol attended a cast reunion of another popular show of the era in which she frequently guest-starred — the Love Boat. The cast came together to celebrate 50 years of Princess Cruises and to christen a new Regal Princess cruise ship.

During the celebration, McNichol told People Magazine in an interview that she left show business to “see what else was out there.”

“I was on the big stage between ages eight and 30,” said McNichol. “I left show business for a variety of reasons, but a big one was my interest in learning what else there is in life.”

The former actress said that during her self-imposed hiatus from acting she discovered “yoga, traveling, an increased awareness of spirituality and a quiet home life,” according to People. She also works for United Way.

“This phase of my life is so good,” she told the magazine. “My home life is happy and serene. I love singing. I also enjoy traveling and seeing the world. One of my favorite stops is Hawaii. I like everything about it and may eventually move there part-time.”

McNichol shared that she loved catching up with all the Love Boat celebrities.

“I was most excited to see Rich Little, who always makes me laugh,” she says. “He was talking about losing his hair and got me laughing hysterically. He looks fabulous, and so does Charo. She is unreal, with all that energy!”

McNichol said that a friendship with Happy DaysScott Baio that she developed on the set of the popular television show has remained a favorite memory from those by-gone days.

“We met during shooting, and for the next three years we hung out off set, too,” McNichol says. “We became real friends, good buddies. We did things together like ride around in his red Cadillac. We had so much fun. I wished he could have come to this celebration, but he was busy.”

Asked if she would consider returning to acting, the former teen idol gave a little hope to fans who remember her well.

    “Never say never,” she said.

  • Scott Baio Makes Guest Appearance on “Sam and Cat”

Scott Baio, the former “Happy Days” star, made a guest appearance on Nickelodeon’s “Sam and Kat”. The stars of the popular tween show, Ariana Grande and Jennette McCurdy, say they had a blast working with Baio, and called it an honor to have him appear on their show.

“It’s just so much fun to spend so much time with him because he spent his childhood, or his teen-hood I guess, working on one of the biggest television shows in history of anything,” Grande said. “It’s just such an honor to work and hear his wisdom of what he’s been through and doing all the same things as me and Jennette. It’s awesome, amazing having him here.”

Grande, and her co-star, were set on learning as much as possible from Baio while they had the chance, asking him about his time working as a teen actor.

“We said to him, ‘What was it like for you growing up doing a sitcom?’ And he was like, ‘It’s all I knew, I didn’t know anything else. I never went to prom, to homecoming, and fraternities. I didn’t have that, so it was all I knew really, it was fine. It was life, it was fun, it was awesome,’” she said. “So, it’s just interesting to see him talk about it and work with him and he’s amazing.”

Baio is not the only television veteran they have had the pleasure of working with. Others who have guest starred were Penny Marshall, and Cindy Williams from “Laverne and Shirley” , and Kel Mitchell from Nickelodeon’s 90s hit show, “Keenen and Kel”.
