  • Alyson Hannigan & Sarah Michelle Gellar Reunite, ‘Buffy’ Stars Enjoy A Throwback Day

Buffy Summers and Willow Rosenberg have been through a lot – vampires, undead boyfriends, covens and an assortment of monsters. Their onscreen friendship remained strong to the end.

And it appears that the real-life friendship the cast of Buffy the Vampire Slayer developed has also remained strong, as seen in the mini-reunion cast mates Sarah Michelle Gellar and Alyson Hannigan had recently.

Buffy and Willow reunite at family event on the heels of ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ 12th anniversary

The slayer posted an adorable photo of the two of them during a party that might have been held for Hannigan’s 3-year-old daughter Keeva.

The Instagram pic showed the Scooby-Doo actress wearing a denim jacket and smiling with Hannigan.

A photo posted by Sarah Michelle (@sarahmgellar) on

“So this girl (#AlysonHannigan) and her husband (#AlexisDenisof) know how to throw a party,” Gellar captioned the photo.

By all accounts, the party was amazing indeed, complete with a farm and pony rides, something that the Crazy Ones mainstay admitted to not expecting to see in Santa Monica.

But apparently it was something that Hannigan, the “party #CraftMaster” can pull off.

Gellar was there with her family, husband Freddie Prinze Jr, 5-year-old daughter Charlotte and 2-year-old son Rocky.

The small Buffy reunion also included Hannigan’s husband Alexis Denisof, who portrayed Wesley Wyndam-Pryce, the Watcher tasked with overseeing Buffy and Faith.

The small reunion came on the heels of the 12th anniversary of the series’ finale, an event that Gellar marked by posting a photo collage on Instagram.

“It was an incredible journey that I am so incredibly proud of,” she wrote. “Thank you all for joining me, and continuing to tell her story.”

The television series, which ran from 1997 to 2003, remains a cult favorite. Produced by the inimitable Joss Whedon, Buffy the Vampire Slayer made Gellar, Hannigan and Denisof household names, along with mainstays Nicholas Brendon, Seth Green and David Boreanaz.

The show also received critical acclaim and led to the spin-off series Angel.

  • Alyson Hannigan Reunites With ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ Co-Star Sarah Michelle Gellar

Alyson Hannigan was reunited with her Buffy the Vampier Slayer co-star Sarah Michelle Gellar over the weekend and the vampire slaying buddies couldn’t wait to document their happy get-together on social media.

Alyson Hannigan, who played Willow, and Sarah Michelle Gellar, who played slayer Buffy, met up on Saturday in Santa Monica to celebrate Alyson Hannigan’s daughter Keeva for her fifth birthday party.

Apparently Alyson Hannigan has some heavy-duty party-throwing skills as Sarah Michelle Gellar posted a pic to both Instagram and Twitter praising her friend’s party skills.

“So this girl (#AlysonHannigan) and her husband (#AlexisDenisof) know how to throw a party. I thought I was good with the crafts, till I went to this party #CraftMaster Thanks for having the #PrinzeFamily I’ve never seen a farm and pony rides in Santa Monica before #NowIveSeenItAll”, captioned Sarah Michelle Gellar of Alyson Hannigan.

Gellar shared a different photo on Twitter with an equally sweet caption.

“@alydenisof and @AlexisDenisof Thanks for such an awesome party and my new #Giraffe You are the #CraftMaster,” she wrote.

Fans are surely hoping the Alyson Hannigan and Sarah Michelle Gellar had some time during the festivities to contemplate a reboot of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Sarah Michelle Gellar said of her friend, Alyson Hannigan, “So this girl (#AlysonHannigan) and her husband (#AlexisDenisof) know how to throw a party. • Sarah Michelle Gellar Announces Husband Freddie Prinze Jr.’s New Cookbook on Twitter

Sarah Michelle Gellar couldn’t wait to tweet out the news that husband Freddie Prinze Jr. will release his first cookbook in 2016.

The 37-year-old actress took to her Twitter account Wednesday, with “@RealFPJr so proud to announce your first cookbook #BackToTheKitchen coming in 2016 from @RodaleBooks #TasteTester.”

Sarah Michelle Gellar also posted a photo of herself and Prinze on Instagram, with the caption, “I am very proud to say that I have personally tasted everyone of these amazing #recipies and will continue to. But now all of you will get to share in the amazing food from my absolute favorite chef.”

Freddie’s gift is no surprise to his Twitter followers as he often posts his latest culinary feat on the social media site.

The She’s All That actor told E! News that cooking is an important part of his life and could even see it as a career. Well, if he didn’t already have a pretty successful thing going on already.

“I have been cooking longer than I’ve been acting — in fact, if I hadn’t made it as an actor, I’d probably be a chef today,” he said.

“Cooking has always been a huge part of my life,” he added. “And nowadays when eating real food and enjoying home cooked meals is more important than ever, I’m thrilled to offer my fans (and would-be fans) some of the fresh, healthy and easy-to-make recipes my family and I love.”

According to UPI, Sarah Michelle Gellar met her Prinze on the set of I Know What You Did Last Summer in 1997, and started dating in 2000. Married in September 2002, the couple have two children together, 5-year-old daughter Charlotte and 2-year-old son Rocky.

Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. are slated to voice characters on season two of the animated Disney XD series Star Wars Rebels.

  • Sarah Michelle Gellar Announces Hubby’s Surprising New Project

Sarah Michelle Gellar announced this week that her husband, actor Freddie Prinze Jr., is venturing into new territory with a cookbook, which will be released next year.

Freddie has kept his Twitter and Instagram followers salivating over the years with photos of his culinary creations, which include everything from lamb chops to fried lobster, and Gellar says she has personally tried every recipe that will be included in Back To The Kitchen.

“Please help me in congratulating my husband #freddieprinzejr on the announcement of his first cookbook #BackToTheKitchen coming in 2016 from #rodalebooks. I am very proud to say that I have personally tasted every one of these amazing #recipes and will continue to. But now all of you will get to share in the amazing food from my absolute favorite chef,” Gellar wrote on Instagram.

Gellar made headlines earlier this year when she said she would never do a Buffy reboot, staking the hearts of millions of Joss Whedon fans. The actress said she just feels she’s a little too old to be chasing vamps around the graveyard and besides, the show ended where it should have ended.

“People forget, the original Buffy was a failed movie. Buffy didn’t work as a movie, it worked as a long-arc television show where you could follow this journey. We spent all of our first year going, ‘Yes, we know we’re based on a failed movie, but we’re different. And so it just seems counter-productive to go back. It didn’t work the first time…I joke that I’d have to have a walker and my walker would be made of wood, and that would be how I would stake people, at this point, I’m a little old,” Sarah Michelle Gellar said.

  • Sarah Michelle Gellar, Freddie Prinze, Jr. Call Themselves ‘Party Animals’

Sarah Michelle Gellar, Freddie Prinze, Jr. Call Themselves ‘Party Animals’

Sarah Michelle Gellar and her handsome hubby Freddie Prinze, Jr. enjoyed a date night recently–one for adults only, too. The parents of two are like any other couple–they need time out sans the kids.

It was during this date when Sarah Michelle Gellar started snapping selfies of her with her husband, and the result is adorable.

“Sometimes even parents need a #DateNight Up past ten pm #PartyAnimals Married almost 13 years and still enjoying each other’s company,” the former Buffy the Vampire Slayer star wrote.

You have to admit they look pretty happy together–even after 13 years.

A photo posted by Sarah Michelle (@sarahmgellar) on

It was only about three weeks ago when Sarah Michelle Gellar shared another selfie with her Instagram followers. This one was while the two were celebrating Freddie Prinze, Jr.’s birthday.

“Happy birthday to this guy @RealFPJ Thank you for showing me dreams are possible, and being the best partner a girl could ever have (esp on #InternationalWomensDay),” she captioned this shot.

It definitely appears as though the years have been kind to Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze, Jr. All too often, Hollywood couples get wrapped up in appearances and all the glitz and glamour hype. These two seem to have stayed quite grounded. They’re even very involved in teaching their kids to help those less fortunate than themselves.

“We’ve been getting the kids at my daughter’s pre-school involved in things and now one by one, they’ve all stopped asking for presents at birthday parties and they all want to do different donations, whether it’s canned food or baby diapers and wipes,” she revealed.

“I didn’t have much growing up, so I’m in a fortunate position where I can provide my daughter with dolls or toys, whatever that thing is. But to see her really want to give back for those other children is the best gift as a mom that I could ever receive.”

Kudos to Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze, Jr. on the grounded life they’re living with their children–and on being ‘party animals’ from time to time.

  • Sarah Michelle Gellar Says No To “Buffy” Reunion Show or Film

Sarah Michelle Gellar has done other things since Buffy the Vampire Slayer. But I don’t know what they were.

Well, that’s not really fair. She’s done that Scooby-Doo movie. And the sequel. She did The Grudge. And the sequel. Oh, and Cruel Intentions. She had that slobbery kiss with that girl in that. And she did that TV show with Robin Williams.

She’s done a bunch of voiceover stuff, including Robot Chicken, TMNT, etc., etc.

Yeah, Sarah Michelle Gellar is on an arc to be forever known as Buffy. Which is fine with me. So why won’t Sarah Michelle Gellar get the gang back together? Lord knows Nicky Brendan could use a paycheck.

Maybe Alyson Hannigan is doing ok. David Boreanaz has a regular gig. Michelle Trachtenberg is comfortable. But Anthony Stewart Head is playing non-threatening Brits in movies with Brits who have real careers. James Marsters never really too off beyond sci-fi circles. And we can certainly resurrect Emma Caulfield.

But Sarah Michelle Gellar says no. No more Buffy. Why not?

“I joke that I’d have to have a walker and my walker would be made of wood, and that would be how I would stake people, at this point, I’m a little old.”

Apparently it has nothing to do with any animosity or other such juiciness among the cast.

“We have [reunions] all the time,” Sarah Michelle Gellar says. “They’re just not televised.”

But what about a film? Surely there is enough will for a big-screen project. Lord knows Joss Whedon now has enough clout to pull it off if he wanted to. But Sarah Michelle Gellar says nope.

“People forget, [the original] Buffy was a failed movie. Buffy didn’t work as a movie, it worked as a long-arc television show where you could follow this journey. We spent all of our first year going, ‘Yes, we know we’re based on a failed movie, but we’re different. And so it just seems counter-productive to go back. It didn’t work the first time.”

Of course, that’s just smoke screen. Joss Whedon could make this thing fly. And maybe this time the suits would shut up and let him do whatever he wanted. And if not, there’s Netflix.

  • Sarah Michelle Gellar: Prinze Jr. Exaggerating Post-Op

Actress Sarah Michelle Gellar’s husband of 12 years, Freddie Prinze Jr., has been exaggerating about the difficulty of his spinal surgery postoperative recovery, according to the former Buffy the Vampire Slayer star.

Prinze Jr., 38, underwent the procedure in November, and is presently doing physical therapy. The I Know What You Did Last Summer and She’s All That actor has been posting a slew of dramatic tweets, documenting his ordeal.

Gellar, 37, chimed in to say that Prinze Jr.’s take on his recovery has been “greatly exaggerated.”

While attending the 4th Annual Santa’s Secret Workshop at the Andaz Hotel in West Hollywood, Gellar commented on Prinze Jr.’s actual status. When asked how her husband was holding up, Gellar replied sarcastically, “You mean ‘learning how to walk’?! I can’t even. … I’m not joking. Our mail woman – god bless her heart – was like, ‘I prayed for you Freddie and it worked, you’re walking’. He’s fine. He did have very serious surgery, there’s no question, but his ‘learning how to walk again’ has been greatly exaggerated.”

Prinze Jr., who presently works as a World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. editor and director, used Twitter to comprehensively document his surgery:

Back in July, Prinze Jr. was in the news after bashing 24 costar Kiefer Sutherland. Prinze had commented, “Kiefer was the most unprofessional dude in the world. That’s not me talking trash, I’d say it to his face, I think everyone that’s worked with him has said that.”

The recovering actor added, “I just wanted to quit the business after that. So, I just sort of stopped.”

  • Sarah Michelle Gellar Reacts to ‘Peter Pan Live!’

Former Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Sarah Michelle Gellar took to Twitter to relate her take on Peter Pan Live!, along with various other Hollywood personalities.

Girls actress Allison Williams played the title role in the NBC production, which aired Thursday. The program was watched by 9.1 million viewers, down from the 18.6 millions viewers garnered by NBC’s The Sound of Music Live! last year.

The live special was narrated by Minnie Driver, who was also cast as the adult character Wendy. Christopher Walken played Captain Hook.

Commenting on the role, Williams, 26, said, “To most of America I’m going to be a new face, which is part of what’s exciting about it for me. To those people, I’ll be Peter Pan.”

    Gellar chimed in:

  • Freddie Prinze Jr. Walking Again After Spinal Surgery

Freddie Prinze Jr. has posted several photos to social media this week, sharing his recovery with fans as he learns to walk again after spinal surgery.

The 38-year old actor took to Twitter over the Thanksgiving holiday to let fans know he was okay after going under the knife, saying, “Learnin to walk again is like learning jiu-jitsu – 1 technique at a time.” He has also shared photos of himself wearing a neck brace and seems to be in good spirits following the procedure.

While several media outlets reported on the actor’s surgery, but he quickly took to social media to let his fans know they shouldn’t believe everything they read.

“Guys I’m totally fine. Recovering great. No need to get ur info from entertainment “news” sources who have no clue. Trust your homie….Bro Do i look jacked up to ya’ll? Balance… In all things. Private medical info amigos. Lets say I had some disc issues that have been resolved. ‘Nuff said friends,” he wrote on Twitter.

Prinze Jr. made headlines over the summer when he made comments about working with Kiefer Sutherland, calling him unprofessional. Sutherland responded to the interview with a statement saying he’d only had a positive experience with the actor.

“I did ’24,’ it was terrible. I hated every moment of it. Kiefer was the most unprofessional dude in the world. That’s not me talking trash, I’d say it to his face, I think everyone that’s worked with him has said that. I just wanted to quit the business after that. So, I just sort of stopped,” he said.

Sutherland’s rep released a statement saying, “Kiefer worked with Freddie Prinze, Jr.more than five years ago, and this is the first he has heard of Freddie‘s grievances,” Sutherland’s rep said Monday afternoon. “Kiefer enjoyed working with Freddie and wishes him the best.”

  • Sarah Michelle Gellar Chops Off Her Long Locks

Sarah Michelle Gellar took to Twitter over the weekend to share photos of her new choppy haircut after she had her stylists give her look a dramatic makeover.

The Crazy Ones star said she was ready for a change, and although she kept the blonde color, she opted for a short bob that can be styled in loose, beachy waves or straightened out depending on her mood.

Gellar has changed up her hair a few times over the years, going from brunette during her soap opera days to blonde for Buffy The Vampire Slayer, then to dark red for Cruel Intentions. This is the first time in a long while it’s been so short, but as a busy mom of two the change makes sense for her.

Gellar, who starred with Robin Williams on The Crazy Ones, said after his death that he was an inspiration. Williams committed suicide earlier this year, stunning millions who loved and admired him; for Gellar, who was reportedly estranged from her own father before his death, Williams was that figure in her life.

“My life is a better place because I knew Robin Williams. To my children he was Uncle Robin, to everyone he worked with, he was the best boss anyone had ever known, and to me he was not just an inspiration but he was the father I had always dreamed of having,” she said in a statement. “There are not enough adjectives to describe the light he was, to anyone that ever had the pleasure to meet him. I will miss him everyday, but I know the memory of him will live on. And to his family, I thank them for letting us know him and seeing the joy they brought him. Us crazy ones love you.”

  • Pam Dawber of ‘Mork and Mindy’, Other Co-Stars Remember Robin Williams

The world has reacted with shock and sadness this week to the death of Robin Williams, who was found dead in his Tiberon, California home on Monday. The 63-year-old, beloved actor’s death was ruled a suicide by hanging.

Those who worked with him and knew him well shared their thoughts following the tragic news.

“I am completely and totally devastated. What more can be said?” — Mork and Mindy co-star Pam Dawber, in a statement.

“My life is a better place because I knew Robin Williams. To my children he was Uncle Robin, to everyone he worked with, he was the best boss anyone had ever known, and to me he was not just an inspiration but he was the Father I had always dreamed of having. There are not enough adjectives to describe the light he was, to anyone that ever had the pleasure to meet him. I will miss him everyday, but I know the memory of him will live on. And to his family, I thank them for letting us know him and seeing the joy they brought him. Us crazy ones love you. God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.” — The Crazy Ones co-star Sarah Michelle Gellar, in a statement.

“Heartbroken. Thanks chief — for your friendship and for what you gave the world. Robin had a ton of love in him. He personally did so much for so many people. He made Matt and my dreams come true. What do you owe a guy who does that? Everything. May you find peace my friend.” — Ben Affleck, in a statement, referring to Williams starring in his and Matt Damon’s first acting/writing venture, Good Will Hunting.

“His kindness and generosity is what I think of. How kind he was to anyone who wanted to connect with him. And he could not help but be funny all the time. He would do something as long as it would keep you laughing. He made many, many film crews laugh out loud before the audiences ever saw it. He made such a big impact on the world. So there is the man, and his talent, and I think in his case both were extraordinary.” — Night at the Museum co-star Ben Stiller, in a statement.

“I feel I have to say something more than just ‘heartbreaking and shocking,’ which everyone has said and I feel as well, but something a little more personal. Thus the following: One day in 1995 while riffing in the character of a snobby French toy store owner, Robin made me laugh so hard and so long that I cried. It seemed to please him to no end. Yesterday, I cried again at the thought that he was gone. What I will always remember about Robin, perhaps even more than his comic genius, extraordinary talent and astounding intellect, was his huge heart — his tremendous kindness, generosity and compassion as an acting partner, colleague and fellow traveler in a difficult world. My heartfelt condolences to his wife and family.” — The Birdcage co-star Nathan Lane, in Time magazine.

“I feel stunned and so sad about Robin. I’m sad for the world of comedy. And so very sad for his family. And I’m sad for Robin. He always lit up when he was able to make people laugh, and he made them laugh his whole life long…. tirelessly. He was one of a kind. There will not be another. Please God, let him now rest in peace.” — Mrs. Doubtfire co-star Sally Field, in a statement.

—”Robin was a lightning storm of comic genius and our laughter was the thunder that sustained him. He was a pal and I can’t believe he’s gone.” — Steven Spielberg, in a statement.

“I saw him on stage the very first time he auditioned at the Improv and we have been friends ever since. It’s a very sad day.” — Jay Leno, in a statement.

“We have lost one of our most inspired and gifted comic minds, as well as one of this generation’s greatest actors. To watch Robin work, was a magical and special privilege. His performances were unlike anything any of us had ever seen, they came from some spiritual and otherworldly place. He truly was one of the few people who deserved the title of ‘genius.’” — Hook director Chris Columbus, in a statement.

“Robin and I were great friends, suffering from the same little-known disease: depression. I never could have expected this ending to his life, and to ours with him. God bless him and God bless us all for his LIFE! I cannot believe this. I am overwhelmed with grief. What a wonderful man/boy and what a tremendous talent in the most important art of any time – comedy! I loved him.” — Chevy Chase, in a statement.

“I’ve never known a sweeter, brighter, more considerate person than Robin. Robin’s commitment as an artist to lifting our mood and making us happy is compared to none. He loved us all and we loved him back.” — John Travolta, in a statement.

“To see Robin perform was an experience. He was more than a comedian. He was a comedy force of nature. I remember hearing that Robin was once doing a press junket in Germany. One of the reporters asked him, ‘Why is it that Germany is not known for comedy?’ Robin answered, ‘Well, you killed all your funny people.’ I laughed out loud when I heard that. I thought, how sick and how wonderfully truthful.” — comedian Gilbert Gottfried, in a statement.

“I was lucky to work with him as an actor and witness first hand the magic of what made him a legend, the wit and other worldly improv skills.” — Hook co-star Dante Basco (Rufio), in a statement.

  • Kiefer Sutherland ‘Most Unprofessional Dude in the World,’ says Freddie Prinze Jr.

Freddie Prinze Jr. sure didn’t mince words when he recently talked about his experiences while working with Kiefer Sutherland, calling the 24 actor “the most unprofessional dude in the world.”

In a recent interview for ABC News, the 38-year-old actor best known for a series of movie hits in the 1990s, including She’s All That and I Know What You Did Last Summer, said the experience of working with Sutherland on 24 in 2010 nearly drove him to quit the business.

“I did 24, it was terrible. I hated every moment of it,” Prinze said. “Kiefer was the most unprofessional dude in the world. That’s not me talking trash, I’d say it to his face, I think everyone that’s worked with him has said that.”

Prinze dropped out of the spotlight for years and seems to blame Sutherland for his lack of projects.

“I just wanted to quit the business after that. So, I just sort of stopped,” said the father of two and husband to Sarah Michelle Gellar.

For a time, Prinze dabbled in other ventures, but seemed to insinuate during the ABC interview at Comic-Con while promoting his new Disney XD series, Star Wars Rebels, that his bad luck has something to do with Keifer.

“I went and worked for Vince McMahon at the WWE for Christ’s sake and it was a crazier job than working with Kiefer,” he said.

Prinze went on to take a cheap shot at Sutherland’s height.

“But, at least he was cool and tall. I didn’t have to take my shoes off to do scenes with him, which they made me do. Just put the guy on an apple box or don’t hire me next time. You know I’m 6 feet and he’s 5’4,” he said.

On the other hand, Sutherland has only had good things to say about Prinze.

“We have some great actors joining us — Mykelti Williamson is the head of CTU, Freddie Prinze Jr. is playing my partner,” Sutherland said an interview with Parade in 2009. “So, it’s this great balance between something that’s new and what fans will find familiar.”

Now who’s the most unprofessional dude in the world?

  • Sarah Michelle Gellar Disses Kim Kardashian ‘Vogue’ Cover

Sarah Michelle Gellar is among those who are less than thrilled about Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s April Vogue cover. In fact, she’s thinking of canceling her subscription and is even rallying others to cancel theirs as well.

The cover features Kimye–as the couple is sometimes called–in full wedding attire–likely indicating that yet another Keeping Up With the Kardashians wedding is really going down.

Kim Kardashian is famous for a number of questionable things–one of them being her most recent wedding to basketball player Chris Humphries. The multi-million dollar affair was promoted for weeks prior to the big day that was televised by E!. The wedding only lasted 72 days. Many speculated that the entire relationship and wedding were staged to up the reality TV show’s ratings. That was never proven, however.

Sarah Michelle Gellar took to Twitter on Friday to share her great disdain for the Vogue cover.

Her tweet was almost instantly retweeted by about 6,000 Twitter users.

Kim Kardashian’s best friend Jonathan Cheban quickly came to her rescue with a slam for the Buffy the Vampire Slayer star.

    Ouch.

Sarah Michelle Gellar stars in The Crazy Ones with Robin Williams. She won a Peoples Choice Award in the Favorite Actress in a New TV Series category for her role as Williams’s character’s daughter. Married to actor Freddie Prinze, Jr., the couple has two daughters. Charlotte Grace is 4 and Rocky James a year and a half old.

It’s uncertain if Gellar’s gripe about Kim Kardashian’s Vogue cover is with Kardashian or Kanye West, or if it’s with the magazine itself for publishing what she deems a giant fashion faux pas. Like her or not, Kim Kardashian is on the cutting edge of fashion, so the magazine really wasn’t completely out of line with the cover shot.

Regardless of what Sarah Michelle Gellar thinks, Vogue is standing by its decision to keep the couple on the cover, with no apologies or retractions in the works. Do you think they will suffer from cancellations per Gellar’s tweet?

  • Sarah Michelle Gellar Slams Kim Kardashian Vogue Cover, Talks Cancelling Magazine Subscription

Sarah Michelle Gellar feels some kind of way about Kim Kardashian – or at least that’s the way it comes across.

On Friday, Mar. 21 the Crazy Ones star took to Twitter to express her disdain of Kim and her fiancé’ Kanye West on the cover of Vogue.

“Well……I guess I’m canceling my Vogue subscription,” Gellar tweeted. “Who is with me???” The 36-year-old actress’ bashing comment came shortly after the Anna Wintour-inspired April issue cover was unveiled.

While her tweet was relatively evasive, everyone obviously got the point. The tweet quickly began circulating around the social media platform, catching the attention of the news outlets and gossip sites. Although numerous Gellar fans were in agreement with her subliminal jab, there were others who didn’t agree with her remarks.

Spindustry star Jonathon Cheban definitely took offense to Gellar’s comments. However, Cheban’s reaction wasn’t too surprising since he’s close friends with the Keeping Up With the Kardashian star. “Do u matter?” he defensively quipped, re-tweeting Gellar’s retort.

According to US Weekly, Cheban celebrated the couple’s “fashion bible coup” with Kardashian’s family on Friday. The publication also reports that Wintour has upheld her decision to feature the reality TV starlet and the Yeezus rapper on the cover. The critically acclaimed Vogue editor shared her sentiments of the controversial decision in her Editor’s Letter.

“As for the cover, my opinion is that it is both charming and touching, and  it was, I should add, entirely our idea to do it; you may have read that Kanye  begged me to put his fiancée on Vogue’s cover. He did nothing of the sort,” Wintour  wrote.

Kanye is an amazing performer and cultural provocateur, while Kim, through her  strength of character, has created a place for herself in the glare of the  world’s spotlight, and it takes real guts to do that.”

So, in a nutshell, anyone who finds the cover distasteful will just have to deal with it. The executive decision has obviously been made!

  • Sarah Michelle Gellar Ends the Debate: Spuffy or Bangel?

Sarah Michelle Gellar Ends the Debate: Spuffy or Bangel?

This week, Sarah Michelle Gellar used Reddit to break a billion Buffy the Vampire Slayer fans’ hearts by ending the much debated question: Spike or Angel?

On Thursday, Gellar participated in a Reddit AMA (Ask me Anything). No question was off-limits as she gave her honest opinions on everything from Buffy to Scooby-Doo. Unfortunately this honesty didn’t end well for some Buffy fans who hoped she shared their obsession with a certain pairing. With the internet bringing out the passion in many fandoms, it’s hard to make an accurate assessment of where fans’ hearts really lie with certain characters and couples. However, no one can deny that Spuffy (Spike and Buffy) fans are the most vocal about their favorite couple.

Three different fans tried to get Gellar to say she preferred Spike over Angel, but in the end she stood by her choice of Angelus over William-the-Bloody. Besides crushing your dreams, she also gave some more interesting tidbits about the production of the series, her dreams for its future, and how she felt about the cast.

Here are a few other Buffy-related highlights from her AMA Reddit:

What was your favorite Buffy episode to work on?

I am in a room full of Buffy fans and everyone is yelling out their favorite episodes! My first one is The Prom because I just love that whole story, and I thought it just encapsulated the show so well. It was beautiful and heartbreaking. I also love Hush because I think it’s not just the scariest episode we’ve ever done but the challenge to do a silent episode – I thought it would be easy but it was way harder. And the other favorite I love is The Body, because it was beyond difficult and heart wrenching to shoot, and I don’t know if many people know this, but my entire first scene was all done in one take. It was 4-5 minutes of one long take.

I know that Alyson was known for pranking everybody on the set, were you ever the victim?

No I think I was more her co-conspirator.

Buffy on Broadway. Yea or Nay?

As long as Kristin Chenoweth plays me.

Who was a better kisser, Angel or Spike? P.S. any answer other than Spike will be incorrect, but I need you to confirm.

I’m sorry to disappoint. And again my apologies to Jamie [Boreanaz].

What was your favorite “big bad” throughout Buffy?

Ohhhh! I loved a couple. When Angel turned bad. Physically I think the scariest were the guys from Hush. And also Camden Toy, I can’t think of his character’s name right now. And I also liked it when I was the bad guy. And while we’re on this topic, I remember my other favorite episode, even though no one asked: I also liked the body switching episode where I got to play Faith and Faith got to play Buffy.

Gellar may have crushed some Spuffy hearts, but isn’t it cool to know those “Hush” demons freaked her out as much as it freaked out many of the Buffy fans?

  • Mork & Mindy: Pam Dawber and Robin Williams Reunite

Na-Nu, Na-Nu! Welcome back Mork and Mindy!

The stars of Mork and Mindy, Robin Williams and Pam Dawber, will reunite on an upcoming episode of Williams’ CBS comedy, The Crazy Ones.

“It will be a joy to work with her again,” Williams said. “It’s a dream come true.”

Mork and Mindy was a hit Television show that made Robin Williams, 62, a house-hold name in America. It was on this show that the world first experienced the comedic versatility of the actor who would go on to become one of the most talented comedians of his generation.

The show aired from 1978-1982, and followed the antics of an alien, played by Williams, named Mork from a planet called Ork…. yep, Mork from Ork. Mork landed on Earth in his egg-shaped spaceship and met Mindy McConnell, played by Dawber, who helped the alien navigate this foreign planet.

Fans finally got their wish when Mork and Mindy eventually married on the show.

Williams tweeted his excitement at the reunion Friday:

Williams plays Simon Roberts on the The Crazy Ones, co-starring Sarah Michelle Gellar and James Wolk. His character is not surprisingly an eccentric head of an ad agency. In the episode scheduled to air in the spring, Dawber will play an author who meets Williams’ character at a book signing, and the chemistry is back.

Sara Michelle Gellar also tweeted about the reunion.

The last time Dawber, 62, appeared on television was in the 1999 movie Don’t Look Behind You. She has been married to NCIS star Mark Harmon for 26 years.

The Crazy Ones airs Thursdays at 9/8c.

  • Mork And Mindy Reunion Will Bring Pam Dawber To The Crazy Ones

After many years, the two stars of the television series Mork And Mindy will be reunited. The show originally ran from 1978-1982, and was a hit with certain audiences in its time.

Robin Williams, who is now the star of the CBS comedy The Crazy Ones, will be reunited with his former on-screen wife, Pam Dawber. The episode with her in it is set to air sometime this spring.

Mork And Mindy‘s former stars could even attract new audience members to the new show, and allow for the guest star to attract guest audiences. The series lasted for four seasons, and featured Robin Williams as an alien from the planet Ork, and his name was Mork.

In The Crazy Ones, Robin Williams stars as Simon Roberts, the eccentric head of an ad agency, and plays opposite Sarah Michelle Gellar, who is his daughter on the show.

Pam Dawber played Mindy, a young woman who takes Mork in when he gets to Earth. The two of them eventually got married after falling in love immediately with an odd type of connection, as Mork had trouble relating to people in normal ways.

In the upcoming episode of The Crazy Ones, the two characters will meet in almost the opposite type of way that the two of them got together in Mork And Mindy, with Pam Dawber’s character being the wild and free spirit in this case.

She will play Lily, an author of travel memoirs who catches the eye of Williams’ ad agency exec, Simon. The two of them meet at a signing for her latest book, Ninety Countries, 90 Dances! They connect immediately, and Simon falls for her adventurous and spontaneous spirit who is up for anything.

This will mark the first television appearance for Dawber since the TV-movie Don’t Look Behind You, which aired in 1999. She is married to Mark Harmon, who is the star of NCIS.

The reunion of former Mork And Mindy stars Robin Williams and Pam Dawber should bring even more viewers into a show that has already become one of the most popular new comedies of the season.

The Crazy Ones airs on Thursday nights at 9 p.m.

  • Robin Williams’ “The Crazy Ones” Pilot Draws 15.6 Million Viewers

Its been quite some time since veteran Hollywood actor, Robin Williams, graced the world with his presence on the small screen in “Mork and Mindy,” over 30 years ago. But, now he’s back with what looks to be yet another hit in CBS’ “The Crazy Ones.”

“The Crazy Ones” centers around Williams, who plays Simon Roberts, the owner of Roberts and Roberts Advertising Agency, and actress Sarah Michelle Gellar, who portrays his daughter, Sydney. Sydney is employed at her father’s agency, and the show captures their world in business and advertising. But, things gets quite interesting with the contrast in the two characters.

While Syndey is highly conservative, reserved, and practical in a world that is primly organized slightly to perfection, her father is…well… a bit different. He’s quite weird to be exact, which is why Williams is expected to shine in his role. Constantly in trouble, making minor professional slip-ups, and spewing off at the mouth, her father is a bit of a hand full. Syndey is laudably efficient in her role as creative director, but she’s also has to be just as proficient in parenting her mischievous father. The relationship dynamic and comedic banter between the two definitely bring the show to life.

Williams’ immense return to the small screen has actually brought a competitive edge to the table for Michael J. Fox’s new self-titled show, which raked in an impressive 7.2 million viewers. In an exclusive USA Today interview, Williams weighed in on his sentiments toward his character Simon Roberts. The “Mrs. Doubtfire” actor said that Roberts actually reminds him a lot of himself. “I think he’s had a very interesting life, multiple marriages, rehab. He’s an idea guy trying to be relevant in these times. In an age of social networking, he’s trying to catch up, literally.”

According to IMDB, CBS has only ordered a pilot, and five episodes, but from the looks of the numbers the pilot episode garnered, Williams is definitely here to stay.

  • Robin Williams CBS Comedy Coming This Fall

CBS Entertainment today announced its new fall lineup, which includes an emphasis on the network‘s comedy programming.

One of the more interesting new comedies announced is The Crazy Ones, a new show featuring comedian Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar of Buffy the Vampire Slayer fame. The show will premiere this fall in the 9:00 EST slot, just after The Big Bang Theory and The Millers, a new comedy starring Arrested Development‘s Will Arnett. It is being produced by David E. Kelley, the Emmy Award-winning creator of shows such as Ally McBeal, Boston Legal, The Practice, and Chicago Hope.

The Crazy Ones will be a single-camera comedy about the head of an advertising agency named Simon Roberts (Williams), whose eccentric behavior is matched only by his skill in advertising. Gellar will play Sydney Roberts, Simon’s daughter and business partner, whose ambition and work ethic put her at odds with her father. The pair are joined by a varied cast of employees played by James Wolk, Hamish Linklater, and Amanda Setton.

Last month, Williams teased fans by tweeting out several photos from the set of The Crazy Ones:
