    Sandra Bullock said recently that although her son Louis has seen the Despicable Me movies many, many times, he doesn’t know that she has a big role in the new spinoff film, Minions. In fact, he doesn’t even know she’s an actress.

    Bullock, who plays villainous Scarlett Overkill in the new movie, says Louis is a huge fan of the first one, which starred Steve Carell.

    “That was the first introduction, then came Despicable Me Part 2. That was another 300 views….Louis has no idea that I’m in this film. He won’t put two and two together — at least not anytime soon. If he does, I’ll be shocked. The kid surprises me all the time…He has no idea what an Oscar is. He’s not seen it, doesn’t know what it is … He doesn’t know what I do. I just go to work,” Bullock told Entertainment Tonight.

    Bullock–like a lot of celebrity parents–has shielded her son from the media over the years as much as possible, and said recently that it bothers her when someone refers to Louis as her “adopted son”.

    “People go, ‘Your adopted son,’ and I go, ‘Please don’t say that. He is my son.’ I would give up my life for him. I mean, I have. I think times are changing. I know there’s a lot of ignorance and a lot of people just need time to catch up. You can’t get mad at that. All you can do is live by example. I look at the love that I have and I just wish for you that you can have that love too,” Sandra said.

    Sandra Bullock wore a very special outfit to the premiere of Minions, including a pair of yellow shoes made to look like the creatures which will be auctioned off. The proceeds will go to Art + Practice.

    Sandra Bullock won an Academy Award for her role as Leigh Anne Toughy in The Blind Side, but Michael Oher, the football player upon whom the film was based claims she ruined his football career.

    During a recent interview with ESPN, Oher didn’t have anything good to say about Sandra Bullock or The Blind Side.

    “I’m not trying to prove anything,” he said. “People look at me, and they take things away from me because of a movie. They don’t really see the skills and the kind of player I am. That’s why I get downgraded so much, because of something off the field.”

    “This stuff, calling me a bust, people saying if I can play or not…that has nothing to do with football. It’s something else off the field. That’s why I don’t like that movie,” Michael Oher added.

    Oher got into a fight with defensive end Kony Ealy. He assumes the fight got more attention because he was involved.

    “Offensive linemen don’t get looked at,” Oher said. “Nobody is paying attention to the offensive line. But me? I’m getting watched for everything. I know what type of player I am. Everybody else that I know knows what type of player I am. So that kind of stuff doesn’t worry me.”

    It’s uncertain if Sandra Bullock has heard Michael Oher’s claim that she ruined his football career or not–but it would certainly be interesting to learn her thoughts on the matter.

  • Sandra Bullock To Testify Against Man Who Claimed To Love Her

    Sandra Bullock will be heading to court next month to testify against a man who told her that he loved her. That man is Joshua Corbett, and he is accused of stalking and breaking into Sandra Bullock’s home last year.

    Jurors have already heard the taped 911 call that Sandra Bullock made from her home in June of last year. She had a scary conversation with a 911 dispatcher for 15 minutes while waiting for police to arrest the man who was stalking her.

    A panicked Bullock can be heard telling the dispatcher that she was home alone and had heard a noise outside.

    “I thought it was a wind blowing,” Bullock said. “Then I saw the person.”

    Prosecutors intend to show that they have the goods on Joshua Corbett. Corbett is charged with stalking Sandra Bullock and breaking into her home that night in June. He also faces weapons charges for illegal firearms he possessed at his home.

    The 911 tape reveals the fear the actress felt as she cowered in a safe-door protected closet in her bedroom.

    “I’m in my closet. I have a safe door,” Sandra Bullock told the 911 dispatcher. “I’m locked in the closet right now.”

    When police arrived, they found Corbett with a black notebook that contained a letter to Sandra Bullock as well as notes about the security measures of her home. Last year, at a preliminary hearing, a police officer read passages from that notebook.

    “There is two large impervious gates that no one can open but you,” an officer read. “I hope one day you open them to me… You are very special to me and without you in my life there is only misery.”

    Sandra Bullock can be heard on the tape expressing concern that her security measures had been bypassed. She tried to open her front gates remotely using her phone so officers could get inside. But they would not open.

    “Now my phone is not working so maybe they know how to override my system,” Sandra Bullock worried to the dispatcher.

    An officer testified at the preliminary hearing that, when Corbett was arrested, he addressed Sandra Bullock.

    “He said, ‘I’m sorry. I love you Sandy.’”

    Corbett’s lawyer characterizes as “mentally disturbed,” but insists that he has “gotten help in jail.” He says that Corbett “really thought he was married” to the Sandra Bullock “but doesn’t think that anymore.”

    Sandra Bullock’s stalker pleaded not guilty Thursday to charges of stalking, burglary, possession of a machine gun and other charges.

    Joshua James Corbett, 39, was arrested in June 2014 after allegedly breaking into the Los Angeles home of Sandra Bullock. The terrifying 911 call from Bullock confirmed just has frightening the experience was for the actress.

    Sandra Bullock heard the assailant enter her home and took shelter in a safe room, called 911 and waited for help.

    Following Corbett’s arrest, police found an arsenal of weapons at his California home.

    At the time of Joshua James Corbett’s arrest, he was found carrying photos of Sandra Bullock and a notebook containing a letter to her.

    In the recently released letter, Joshua James Corbett describes Sandra Bullock as his “girl” and describes himself as her “husband.”

    “You are very special to me and without you in my life there is only misery,” he said in the letter.

    Joshua James Corbett, who is being held on bail and faces more than 20 years if convicted on all counts, will next appear in court at a pre-trial hearing scheduled for June 8.

    Corbett’s lawyer has said his client “really thought he was married” to the actress “but doesn’t think that anymore.”

    Labelling Joshua James Corbett as “mentally disturbed,” his attorney said he had been “getting some help in jail” and had “never intended to hurt Miss Bullock.”

    During Thursday’s proceedings, the 911 call made by Sandra Bullock during the break in was played.

    On the tape, Sandra Bullock disclosed that she was hiding in her closet.

    Sandra Bullock said she saw a man walk past her bedroom door toward her attic.

    “I thought it was a wind blowing,” Bullock said. “Then I saw the person.”

    Sandra Bullock then said the man was wearing dark sweatshirt and dark pants.

    As Sandra Bullock stayed in the closet and on the line with the dispatcher, she said she suddenly heard someone pounding on her bedroom door. She repeatedly asked when officers would arrive.

    The dispatcher said, “I don’t know where they’re responding from, Sandra… But I can tell you that they’re responding with lights and sirens.”

    Sandra Bullock then walked officers through the security measures around her home to let them inside.

    When officers arrived and apprehended the suspect, Sandra Bullock could be heard thanking the dispatcher.

    She said, “Thanks you so much for being so… thank you.”

    To which the dispatcher responded, “Sandra, that’s what we’re here for, ma’am.”

    Sandra Bullock was lucky to escape without harm, as Joshua Corbett’s intentions seemed nefarious.

    Officers on the case reported that Corbett, during his arrest, was in possession of a notebook which included a two page letter to Sandra Bullock calling her his wife, detailing how he wanted to have sex with her, and saying that he loves her.

    Officers also testified that during a search of Corbett’s home, they found rifles, handguns, and a large amount of ammunition.

    Jennifer Lawrence has been named Forbes Magazine‘s highest-grossing film star for 2014, followed closely by Chris Pratt.

    The Oscar-winner earned the title thanks to her highly successful X-Men: Days of Future Past and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1. The films are believed to have grossed $1.4 billion at the box office worldwide during this calendar year. Mockingjay is still in theaters and still raking in the money, so the count will likely grow.

    While Lawrence may be raking it in for the studios, she is the second highest-paid actress after Sandra Bullock, earning $34 million from June 2013 to June 2014.

    Last year, Lawrence, who also topped Google’s trending actress list for 2014, was in the 10th spot, grossing an estimated $700 million, while Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was the magazine’s 2013 most bankable film star, grossing $1.3 billion.

    In 2014’s No. 2 spot is the actor everyone loves, Chris Pratt. His films, Guardians of the Galaxy and The Lego Movie grossed an estimated $1.2 billion worldwide. According to the magazine, Marvel’s comic book-inspired Guardians will likely be the year’s highest grossing film domestically.

    Scarlett Johansson came in third with $1.18 billion at the global box office, followed by Mark Wahlberg and Chris Evans in the fourth and fifth spots, respectively.

    Sandra Bullock to the rescue!

    While filming an outdoor scene for her newest film Our Brand Is Crisis in Louisiana, the Gravity star got to play a real-life superhero when one of the extras on set fainted from an apparent heat stroke.

    TMZ first reported the incident that took place on Sunday, October 26. Apparently, the extras were told to wear cold-weather clothing, which included heavy winter jackets, and with the temperatures reaching the high 80s in New Orleans the extra simply overheated.

    Luckily, the Oscar-winning actress was there to lend a helping hand until the ambulance arrived. Bullock took the time to sit with the woman in a shady area and proceeded to fan her and provide her with water while they waited.

    Billy Bob Thornton, Sandra’s co-star, was reportedly also on set, but was mostly watching as the incident took place.

    Filming was halted on Monday, but the cast and crew returned to filming on Tuesday, October 29. Currently, there are no updates on the woman’s condition.

    Our Brand is Crisis is being produced by Bullock’s Gravity co-star George Clooney and is being directed by David Gordon Green, who also directed Eastbound & Down and Pineapple Express.

    The film is expected to debut in theaters in 2016.

    Not only is Sandra Bullock a great actress, but she also apparently has a heart of gold. When an extra on her movie set fainted while filming, Bullock reportedly swooped in to help take care of the fallen woman.

    On Sunday, a female extra fainted during an outdoor shoot of the film Our Brand Is Crisis, which stars Bullock. The Academy Award winner reportedly sat beside where the woman had fallen on the concrete and helped give her extra water. Bullock also fanned the woman until an ambulance arrived at the scene. The woman was believed to have suffered from heatstroke and was brought to a hospital for treatment.

    Bullock’s co-star, Billy Bob Thornton, was also on the scene, but stood a little apart from the group attending to the woman. Bullock is currently filming Our Brand Is Crisis in Louisiana, which has recently been experiencing high temperatures. The temperature in New Orleans, Page Six reported, reached 82 degrees on Monday. The actors, including Bullock, and extras were required to wear warm clothes on set, which may have caused the woman who fainted to feel excessively hot under the Louisiana sun.

    Our Brand Is Crisis is based on a 2005 documentary of the same name that featured the use of US political campaign tactics to elect Gonzalo Sanchez de Lozada as president of Bolivia in 2002. Bullock plays the role of a retired American political consultant, Jane Bodine, hired by Gonzalo to run his campaign, while Thornton plays the part of the opposition’s campaign manager.

    The film is produced by George Clooney and helmed by the director of Eastbound & Down and Pineapple Express David Gordon Green. Also starring Scoot McNairy, Anthony Mackie and Ann Dowd, Our Brand Is Crisis is expected to hit theaters in 2016.

    Sandra Bullock is seriously the coolest. Not only is she an amazing, Oscar-winning actress, the highest-paid actress in Hollywood, and to die for at the age of 50, she can now add life-saver to her credentials.

    The Gravity actress “took charge” Sunday when a fellow actress collapsed from apparent heat stroke on the New Orleans set of her current movie, Our Brand Is Crisis, according to TMZ .

    Bullock reportedly helped cool the victim off by fanning her in a shady area and providing water until an ambulance arrived and transported the woman to the hospital.

    Bullock’s co-star Billy Bob Thornton was there, too, but was “mostly watching,” according to the website.

    It was a warm, 82-degree day in New Orleans when the incident occurred on Sunday. Not an incredibly hot day, but the warm clothes the actors were required to wear as costumes for the movie may have been a factor in the actress’ heat stroke.

    Filming was shut down on Monday but was back up and running by Tuesday.

    Good job, Sandra. You’re the bomb!

    Minka Kelly and Chris Evans were photographed picking up lunch from Hugo’s Tacos in L.A. Tuesday, and rumors that the two may be back together are rampant.

    “Chris stayed in the car while Minka picked up the order,” an eyewitness told E! News, at the same location where the two were caught making out in October 2012.

    But not so fast, folks.

    “It was just a friendly lunch,” a source insists.

    The duo also spent time with his family in late September, stepping out for karaoke night at Lavender Asian Cuisine & Bar in Evans’s hometown of Sudbury, Massachusetts, according to People.

    “It looked like a family night out,” an eyewitness said. “They were with a bunch of people, including Chris’s family, and Chris and Minka sat in the back while other people in their group got up and did some karaoke.”

    The couple, who began dating in 2007 and broke up for good last year, have never discussed their on-again-off-again relationship.

    After their final breakup in 2013, Kelly kept busy by starring in the first and only season of Fox’s Almost Human.

    The 34-year-old actress also filmed a movie, The World Made Straight, alongside Jeremy Irvine, Haley Joel Osment and Noah Wyle and will star in the 2015 movie, Papa, with Giovanni Ribisi and Joely Richardson.

    As for Evans, he tried his hand at directing, spending the past several months directing and starring in the movie Before We Go.

    “It’s good to be done,” he told IndieWire. “It’s intimidating to be talking about it, because I am so used to being an actor, where your job is a small piece of the puzzle.”

    Evans was also romantically linked to his childhood crush Sandra Bullock after the two were noticed in several public outings.

    “We’ve since married and it started breaking apart, so we separated,” said Bullock, making a joke of the rumors. “We filed for divorce, and I hope everyone can respect our privacy. But we’re going to remain friends and share responsibility of the farm animals we’ve taken on, because you just can’t abandon the animals.”

    Evans also is reprising his role as Captain America in The Avengers: Age of Ultron, which will hit theaters on May 1, 2015.

All summer long a variety of tabloid publications insisted that Brad Pitt would serve as George Clooney’s best man, but that reportedly wasn’t the case either.

    The Chicago Tribune mentions Sandra Bullock, Angelina Jolie, and Brad Pitt as having been on the purported guest list. They interviewed a Miami, Florida resident who was visiting Venice, who was hanging out near the site of George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin’s wedding in hopes of getting a peak at some of the rumored guests on the list.

    “They talked about Sandra Bullock, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie. It would be cool to see any of them, all of them,” the visitor said.

    Sandra Bullock and George Clooney recently starred in the hit film Gravity together. Hollywood rumors pegged them as a great match after her marriage to Jesse James failed, but they insisted they were very close friends and colleagues and not interested in dating one another. Brad Pitt and George Clooney have long been close buddies.

    Might it be possible that Sandra Bullock, Brad Pitt, and Angelina Jolie were, in fact, at George Clooney’s wedding? It simply might be that photos from the nuptials have yet to all be shared with the media.

    Sandra Bullock is mixing it up for her next film role. The notorious brunette was spotted walking the streets of New Orleans on Monday with long blonde hair.

    The actress is currently filming the comedy Our Brand Is Crisis. The film’s executive producer is Bullock’s buddy and Gravity co-star George Clooney. David Gordon Green (Pineapple Express) is directing. According to the IMDB tagline, Our Brand Is Crisis is, “A feature film based on the documentary Our Brand Is Crisis, which focuses on the use of American political campaign strategies in South America.” Bullock plays a political consultant in the film.

    This is not the first time we’ve seen Bullock with blonde locks. She featured a blonde highlighted style for her Oscar winning performance as Leigh Anne Tuohy in Blind Side. She was also blonde for Two If by Sea and All About Steve.

    No word on whether Bullock is wearing a wig or she actually dyed her hair blonde.

    The actress recently celebrated her 50th birthday in late July. The celebration was reportedly a low-key affair with only close friends and family. The festivities took place in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

    If E!‘s source is to be believed, it’s unlikely Margulies, who will attend tonight’s Emmys with her ninth nomination, will be an invitee at the wedding.

    “This is not going to be a huge Hollywood wedding with Julia Roberts and Sandra Bullock flying in to Italy for a week,” said the source. “George and Amal don’t want a media circus with paparazzi helicopters flying overhead and motorbikes chasing after them as they all arrive at the airport in Milan from Los Angeles. They want the wedding to be intimate with quiet but happy and fun dinners and lunches after they’ve said short but meaningful, hand-written vows in front of their loved ones.”

    Reports claim the 53-year-old actor and his fiancé will be married next month at his Lake Como villa in an intimate ceremony.

    “George has always loved Como, he finds it very peaceful and relaxing and now Amal has fallen in love with the area as well,” a source told E! News of Clooney’s Italian getaway, Villa Oleandra, in Laglio. “They want to start their married life there with the beautiful lake as a backdrop. George’s home on the lake is like a very well oiled machine. He has the local mayor fully on his side and the locals too and he can ensure that press and paparazzi are kept away.”

    “Doing the wedding in another area of Italy would involve too many people that he doesn’t know or trust and George wants to make sure that Amal and both their families enjoy the big day,” the source added. “They want it to be about them celebrating their love and respect for each other with their loved ones watching. And they can do that in Como while keeping everything fully under their control.”

    Sounds about right, considering Clooney‘s desire to keep his private life private.

    Clooney allegedly told The Studio Exec the wedding will be a cheap affair out of respect for those less fortunate.

    “We are very concerned about the message we as celebrities and ambassadors to the world send out, especially in a time of financial crisis and austerity,” said the Gravity star, the magazine reports. “So the plan is a simple civic ceremony, followed by a lunch at Denny’s, the nearest one to save on cab fare and then back to a friend’s place for drinks and everyone brings a bottle…”

    Yet another source claims George Clooney’s wedding to Amal Alamuddin will be very ‘small and intimate.’ How can that possibly be, unless ‘small and intimate’ to George Clooney means 200 or so of his closest friends? He doesn’t seem like the type to leave out those closest to him, and there seem to be quite a few friends who are just that.
