  • Julianne Hough Over Ryan Seacrest, Brooks Laich Love of Her Life

Julianne Hough appears to be completely over Ryan Seacrest, and has actually dubbed boyfriend Brooks Laich the love of her life. In an Instagram photo the Dancing With the Stars judge and Safe Haven star shared recently, she appears very happy. Of course it’s important to note that Brooks Laich isn’t the only one who received the aforementioned term of endearment.

“A little nature walk with the loves of my life!” Hough captioned the outdoor photo with Brooks Laich and her two dogs. “Amazing goal tonight sweetheart! @brookslaich xoxo.”

    See for yourself.

Did anyone ever really believe Julianne Hough and Ryan Seacrest would stay together forever? She has always been so creative and so youthful. Energy just flows from Julianne Hough, whether she’s acting, dancing, or giving constructive criticism on Dancing With the Stars. And he’s–well, he’s Ryan Seacrest. Sure, he’s a nice guy. But he’s not match for Julianne Hough.

Do you think Brooks Laich might be the real deal for Hough? After all, he’s at least one of the loves of her life. The two started dating last winter after they were set up by a mutual friend. Julianne Hough dated Ryan Seacrest for three years.

Hough spoke to ABC News back in April about her relationship with Brooks Laich.

“We are going to make it work,” she said. “In every facet, whether it’s family, friends, boyfriends, girlfriends, whatever.”

Maybe Julianne Hough is anticipating a walk down the aisle? Do you think that’s the direction this relationship will take?

  • Brooks Laich Called ‘Love of My Life’ By Julianne Hough

Brooks Laich and Julianne Hough seem to be taking things to a different level after dating for a year.

The Dancing With the Stars judge publicly declared on Instagram that the NHL star and her two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are the “loves of my life.”

“A little nature walk with the loves of my life!” the 26-year-old actress wrote alongside the pic of the couple and Hough’s two dogs, Lexie and Harley.

The Safe Haven actress and the Washington Capitals forward began dating last December after being set up by their mutual friend, actor Teddy Sears.

In April, Hough was very adamant that she was going to do everything possible to make the relationship work.

“We are going to make it work,” Hough told ABC News. “In every facet, whether it’s family, friends, boyfriends, girlfriends, whatever.”

Hough’s last long-term romance was with Ryan Seacrest. They remained together for nearly three years before ending their relationship in March 2013.

“Every relationship, there was nothing wrong or bad, but there was nothing right,” Hough shared about their relationship in the August 2014 issue of Redbook. “I had one foot out because I didn’t want to get hurt. And I didn’t say what was on my mind because I didn’t want to ruffle any feathers. I needed to be perfect.”

Hough said it was a seminar she attended with her family that changed her attitude, just in time to meet the “love of her life.”

“I had this epiphany when my family went to a six-day seminar [last November] about creating your own destiny,” she told Redbook. “I learned so much about myself and why my relationships didn’t work that by the end I was on a high… The next day my Curve costar introduced [Brooks and me]. It couldn’t have been a better time. We’ve been open and honest from day one.”

  • Julianne Hough Returns to Her Roots on ‘DWTS,’ This Time as a Permanent Judge

Julianne Hough is returning to the long-running ABC reality competition series, Dancing With the Stars, where she got her start in Hollywood in 2005. This time, however, she will return as a judge.

Hough will join returning judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli for the season premiere on Sept. 15.

This isn’t the first time the two-time DWTS champion has judged. She returned in April to be a guest judge, but this time the position will be permanent.

The professional dancers for the 19th season have been announced and include Mark Ballas, Witney Carson, Cheryl Burke, Artem Chigvintsev, Valentin Chmerkovskiy, Tony Dovolani, Allison Holker, Keo Motsepe, Peta Murgatroyd, Emma Slater, Karina Smirnoff, and Julianne’s brother, Derek Hough.

Hough has had her hand in a variety of different endeavors since leaving the show in 2009, including films like Christina Aguilera‘s Burlesque, Footloose, Rock of Ages and Safe Haven, with Channing Tatum.

Also during her time away from DWTS, the singer debuted an album, which topped Billboard’s country music chart in 2008.

Her latest endeavor was a North American dance tour with her brother called Move Live on Tour. The siblings are also developing a series for Starz, Blackpool, which follows the world of international competitive ballroom dancing.

Fans of DWTS will have to wait until Sept. 4 to learn which celebrities will vie off this year for the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy, when it is announced on Good Morning America.

The 26-year-old Jackie-of-all-trades seems pretty pumped for the new gig, posting a snap on Instagram Thursday, along with the caption: “Warming up for Dancing With The Stars with @heineken_us! #USopen preparty”

  • Julianne Hough Abused As A Child While Studying Dance

Actress and choreographer Julianne Hough recently opened up about being mentally and physically abused as a child, and says she fought hard for a part in the new Nicholas Sparks movie because she knew she could relate to the character.

At the tender age of ten, Hough was awarded a scholarship to study dance in London, and though her older brother Derek was there with her, she had no adult caregiver to watch over her. The result was a string of abuse that began in part because she was so young but looked much older.

“I was 10 years old looking like I was 28, being a very sensual dancer,” Hough said. “I was a tormented little kid who had to put on this sexy facade because that was my job and my life. But my heart was the same, and I was this innocent little girl. I wanted so much love.”

Though she won’t go into detail about what happened or who was responsible for the abuse–Hough says she has moved on and forgiven her tormentors–her past may have helped her develop a crucial emotional acting range, which won her a part in her new film, “Safe Haven”.

“I had a perception that she was just a very light and charming girl that might not have the emotional range,” director Lasse Hallstrom said.

But co-star Josh Duhamel disagreed and persuaded the director to take another look.

“I told Lasse, ‘There is a sadness in that room, something more complicated that the character needed to have. And that’s what she has,’” Duhamel said.

The film, which is based on a Nicholas Sparks book, centers on a woman who falls in love with a widower after escaping an abusive relationship.
