    Stephanie Sokolinski and her girlfriend, Twilight star Kristen Stewart, are taking very seriously the notion that Paris is the “City of Love.” The two were spotted kissing on a Paris street.

    A French musician who goes by “SoKo,” Stephanie Sokolinski has long identified as a lesbian. She recently told the lesbian/bisexual pop culture site After Ellen that she has “liked girls since I was fucking born.”

    Kristen Stewart, who hasn’t been seriously linked to anyone since she dated her Twilight costar Robert Pattinson (whom she cheated on), told Nylon last year that she isn’t hiding anything with regard to her sexuality.

    “If you feel like you really want to define yourself, and you have the ability to articulate those parameters and that in itself defines you, then do it,” Stewart said. “But I am an actress, man. I live in the fucking ambiguity of this life and I love it. I don’t feel like it would be true for me to be like, ‘I’m coming out! No, I do a job. Until I decide that I’m starting a foundation or that I have some perspective or opinion that other people should be receiving…I don’t. I’m just a kid making movies.”

    The Paris sighting wasn’t the first for Stephanie Sokolinski and Kristen Stewart. Earlier in March they were seen together in L.A.

  • Robert Pattinson Gets a Taste of Being Paparazzi for a Change in His New Film

    Robert Pattinson has done his time as a heartthrob on the big screen. Nowadays, when he is deciding which movie roles to take, he doesn’t give nearly as much consideration to whether his adoring fans will approve.

    “I will go through periods where I will think, ‘Oh, maybe I should do a commercial movie,’” Pattinson said recently. “And then I just think, someone gave me a really great piece of advice – someone from my agency, weirdly – they said the only clients that are happy are the ones that just do what they want to do. So I just kind of do everything for myself.”

    Robert Pattinson, famous for the Twilight series of films, will star in the film Life as a photographer name Dennis Stock. The film is about the photographer’s relationship with Hollywood icon James Dean.

    Pattinson spoke about how it felt to be the target of all the adulation that came his way in the wake of the Twilight series.

    “The first period of getting famous was incredibly strange to me and really fun at the beginning because you didn’t realize the consequences of anything,” Pattinson said. “You could say or do whatever you wanted and it just didn’t matter.”

    “I only really realized what being famous was about three years after I got famous, four years afterwards.”

    Because of his status as a super-famous celebrity, Pattinson has been stalked by paparazzi for years. In his new role, he got to see what life might be like for those guys behind the flashbulbs.

    “It is interesting to feel the power trip, especially when I was shooting the scene on the red carpet, when you are part of the massive throng of people, and not only are you part of the crowd and hidden but you have something you can hide your own face [with],” Pattinson said. “You just see all the pressure is on someone else. It is kind of nice, you feel all secure in your little pack. It is very different.”

  • Kristen Stewart Says She Went ‘Feral’ After Cheating On Pattinson

    Kristen Stewart has been the butt of many jokes. There is no shortage of cracks about her expressionless face in movies. But Stewart got a lot of attention and adulation for her parts in the Twilight series of films.

    That celebrity was stoked even more by the fact that she and her Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson were in a real-life romance. Then came the news that Kristen Stewart had cheated on Robert Pattinson with a married man, director Rupert Sanders. The two worked together on Snow White and the Huntsman.

    The news rocked the tabloid world, and the world seemed to withdraw all love for Kristen Stewart. Now, three years after the scandal. Kristen Stewart is talking about it, without really talking about it directly.

    “I lit my universe on fire,” Stewart tells Marie Claire of her actions in years past, “and I watched it burn.”

    Stewart expands on that thought.

    “Speaking very candidly, it was a really traumatic period in my early 20s that kick-started something in me that was a bit more … feral.”

    How did she weather through all the hate directed at her during that time? She was the girl who broke the heart of a heart-throb who seemed to worship the ground she walked on, even when so many girls were screaming that she was not worthy of him.

    “The public kind of burned me at the stake,” she acknowledges. “But that’s OK, I can take it. I’m not dead.”

    In fact, Stewart thinks that the experience has left her better, more able to handle herself now.

    “I’m really proud that I am able to move forward and not fall into every mental crater,” Kristen Stewart says. “That’s a new thing for me. Age has made me smarter and calmer. And it is fucking awesome.”

    Stewart’s struggles and demons go back further than her botching of what seemed to be a storybook romance with Pattinson. She was a tomboy growing up. But when she hit age 13, that role no longer fit, and the boys noticed.

    “All of a sudden, it wasn’t cool to be one of the boys anymore,” Stewart recalls.

    A guy friend once wondered aloud, “in front of our whole group, ‘Kristen’s not a girl. What is she?’ And I just died,” Stewart revealed. “It was a totally clichéd, very real insecure breakdown moment, when I was like, ‘I fucking hate myself.’”

    “So many people say, ‘Oh, it must have been so easy for you.’ You think because I’m an actor that I didn’t have a normal progression of self-hatred? Between ages 15 and 20, it was really intense. I was constantly anxious. I was kind of a control freak. If I didn’t know how something was going to turn out, I would make myself ill, or just be locked up or inhibited in a way that was really debilitating.”

    Jules Stewart, Kristen Stewart’s mom, confirmed her daughter’s relationship with Alicia Cargile, and says her daughter actually likes both men and women.

    “What’s not to be accepting about her now having a girlfriend? She’s happy,” she shared. “I’ve met Kristen’s new girlfriend, I like her. What’s not to accept? She’s a lovely girl.”

    “I feel like people need to be free to love whoever they want,” Jules Stewart said in an interview with the Sunday Mirror. “I accept my daughter loves women and men. It’s OK to be who you are in my world. We all choose our friends, so we should be free to choose our lovers.”

    Jules seems to think a lot of Alicia Cargile. In fact, it seems like Jules Stewart might even agree that Alicia Cargile is more suited to Kristen Stewart than Robert Pattinson.

    “I’m very sad that Kristen and Robert didn’t have a chance to be alone together,” she said. “They had to have the whole world with them; and all the public stuff ruined everything; life became overwhelming.”

    Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson finally called it quits for the last time back in May of 2013. He is reportedly engaged to FKA Twigs.

    Alicia Cargile and Kristen Stewart have been dating since about January. Stewart will next appear on the big screen alongside Jesse Eisenberg in a film called American Ultra.

    Sienna Miller dazzled during her public appearances at Cannes this weekend, but she definitely had people wondering about the status of her relationship/engagement with Tom Sturridge. MIller was spotted at times wearing her engagement ring. At others it was noticeably absent.

    The Daily Mail reports that things aren’t all sunshine and roses for the couple, with Tom Sturridge and Sienna Miller frequently involved in ‘blazing rows.’

    The couple has been engaged for about three years.

    Sienna Miller arrived at the Cannes Film Festival on Saturday, wearing her engagement ring. The next day, she walked the red carpet without it. On Monday, Sienna Miller took 22-month-old daughter for a walk in her stroller, and wasn’t wearing her engagement ring.

    Tom Sturridge, known for his close friendship with Twilight star Robert Pattinson, didn’t join Sienna Miller in Cannes.

    A source said of Sturridge and the American Sniper star, “Sienna and Tom are in very different stages of their lives, despite sharing so much together. There are rows about money too, Sienna has a lot of personal wealth and he doesn’t.”

    “They are both from well-off families but paying for mortgages and things does come up,” the source added.

    Miller played the role of Taya Kyle in the Academy Award-winning film.

    Sienna Miller’s previous engagement, to Jude Law, fell apart very publicly. She called it off in 2005 following the revelation that he had had an affair with his children’s nanny Daisy Wright.

    Many couples experience financial differences. It isn’t a surefire reason for two people who have been in love for more than three years to go their separate ways.

  • Robert Pattinson and Fiancé FKA Twigs Planning a ‘Pub Wedding’?

    Robert Pattinson and his fiancé, singer FKA twigs, are not planning an elaborate, swanky wedding with a legion of celebrity guests. Instead, they reportedly are planning something a little more intimate and chill to tie the knot.

    According to People magazine, who confirmed the engagement on April 1, Robert Pattinson’s parents, Richard and Clare Pattinson, “would really like a church wedding.” However twigs “wants something quite informal, like a pub wedding.”

    Rapper T-Pain spilled the beans on the engagement in an interview with Vulture magazine, although he later said it was an April Fool’s joke.

    “Well, the first time we even met each other, we met in the studio. Her music’s changed a lot since then. But she’s on tour so much, and anytime I call her, she’s in a different place,” he said of twigs. “And she’s engaged now, so that’s about to be a whole other thing.”

    He went on to confirm that Robert Pattinson is the groom-to-be.

    “Yeah, to ol’ Patty [Robert Pattinson]. I don’t know if she wanted anybody to know that,” he added.

    Pattinson, 29, and twigs, 27, are reportedly hoping to get married late this summer, though plans are “not definite,” that source told People.

    Robert Pattinson split from his longtime girlfriend, Twilight costar Kristen Stewart in 2013. Sources say the actor seems “much more calm and happy” around twigs, the stage name for Tahliah Barnett, whom he has been dating for six months.

    Oh dear, summer must really be over. Kids are back in school, birds are flocking before heading south for the winter, Labor Day is just around the corner, and Zac Efron and Michelle Rodriguez‘ summer fling is over.

    According to Us Weekly, the That Awkward Moment actor and Rodriquez are no longer dating, or getting it on, or whatever it was they were doing in Italy and Spain over summer.

    Sources told the magazine the duo ended their fling after having a knock-down-blowout fight in Ibiza, Spain over the Fast and Furious‘s BFF and former girlfriend Cara Delevingne.

    “Cara was always being mentioned,” another source told Us Weekly, referring to the Vogue cover girl. “Cara would spend time on the same boat, and Cara and Michelle have all the same friends. It was just a lot. It was always, ‘Cara, Cara, Cara.’”

    That’s too bad because the eye-candy factor of their hook-up was pretty spectacular.

    “Michelle is going to do her own thing. Zac knew this about her when he got with her,” one source said, adding that he is still sorta pining for her.

    “He’s very into her though, and perhaps more than she’s into him,” said the source.

    The unlikely couple were endlessly photographed frolicking on a boat off the coast of Italy in early July, getting hot and heavy on the dance floor at an Ibiza nightclub, galloping around on horseback (Efron shirtless, thank you very much), and dining out with other holiday-goers just a few weeks ago.

    Efron, who is currently filming We Are Your Friends after his extended holiday, took the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge to benefit amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or Lou Gehrig’s Disease, on Tuesday with Ashley Tisdale.

    He then nominated Robert Pattinson and, yeah, his video is pretty hilarious.

    Divorce is never easy for anyone, and Katy Perry is no different. In a recent interview for her August cover issue of Rolling Stone, Perry shared a few lessons she learned from her divorce from Russell Brand in 2011.

    “Now I know—first and foremost, self-love, and then give love away,” she said. “Back then it was mostly just me giving love away. I went through my ‘return of Saturn,’ is what they call it. It’s this kind of astrological thing they talk about, when the planet Saturn comes to teach you lessons, and either you reject them or accept them. And I accepted those lessons that I needed to learn. And if you reject them, it’s your midlife crisis that comes around at 50.”

    The Roar singer has had her share of celebrity romances — from long-term relationships with John Mayer and Brand to fleeting hook-ups with Josh Groban and Robert Pattinson — and knows what it can be like to try to nuture a relationship in the public eye. Even so, Perry says it is unlikely she would date anyone who wasn’t famous.

    “I’ve done that before,” she said “It’s not that they have to be famous, although there’s a level of understanding when they’re in the same business, you know?”

    The 29-year-old said she believes only a famous person could really understand what it means to live in the spotlight.

    “They understand what it means when you’re tired from a show or the tour’s exhausting you or if an interview went wrong—they know all the ins and outs, so you can just walk in to the house with a certain face and they understand, you know? said Perry. “Rather than, like, having to explain everything and that takes two, three hours.”

  • Kristen Stewart: Why Robert Pattinson is Over Her

    Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson will live on together via DVDs in the Twilight series of films, but as a couple they are definitely through. Rob recently spoke about why they won’t get back together again.

    “S*** happens, you know?” he told Esquire U.K. “It’s just young people … it’s normal! And honestly, who gives a s***?”

    Rob was referring to Kristen Stewart’s dalliances with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, whose divorce from his wife Liberty Ross–as a result of the same scandal–was just made final.

    “The hardest part was talking about it afterwards,” Robert Pattinson continued. “Because when you talk about other people, it affects them in ways you can’t predict. It’s like that scene in Doubt [with the late Philip Seymour Hoffman], where he’s talking about how to take back gossip? They throw all those feathers from a pillow into the sky and you’ve got to go and collect all the feathers.”

    It’s abundantly clear these days that Rob has left all traces of Kristen Stewart in the dust. He even sold his L.A. home earlier this year.

    “They photographed anyone who came up to the gate, anyone who rang the bell,” he said of his former residence, “and they followed any car that came in and out.”

    That probably hasn’t changed too much since his split from Kristen Stewart.

    “I can’t go to hip places,” he said. “I have to find weird little restaurants on the fringes. But they’re so much nicer. I love empty bars. Any empty bar, actually.”

    When all is said and done, dating Kristen Stewart was probably exhausting for Robert Pattinson. Not only did he have his own celebrity status–that of Twilight’s Edward Cullen– drawing fans near, but Kristen’s to contend with as well. When she cheated on him it likely made that extra effort seem like more than he could handle. And who can blame him?

  • Kristen Stewart: Affair With Rupert Sanders Nets Ex Big Bucks

    Kristen Stewart’s affair with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders didn’t just destroy her relationship with Twilight costar Robert Pattinson–it destroyed his marriage with wife Liberty Ross as well. Now, two years after the sordid fling, the director’s divorce is final and Liberty Ross is rolling in the dough–his.

    Kristen Stewart was quoted as calling the affair a “momentary indiscretion” back in July of 2012, but that ‘indiscretion’ didn’t sit well with Pattinson, who later gave the relationship another try, only to split up again with the moody actress. Liberty Ross, on the other hand, shied away from the cameras and eventually filed for divorce from Rupert Sanders. One of the results of said divorce now nets her $25,000 per month in spousal support. She will also receive child support for the couple’s two children, and a percentage of profits from Sanders’ films. Interestingly enough, however, there will be no receipt of profits from Snow White and the Huntsman. Liberty Ross is clearly holding a grudge.

    When Ross finally opened up to the media about the cheating scandal, she spoke to Vogue magazine.

    “It was horrible. It was really the worst, really the worst,” she said.

    Despite the sad demise of what once was probably a happy household, Kristen Stewart claimed recently that she has no regrets thus far in her young life. She shared those thoughts in an interview for Marie Claire.

    “I stand by every mistake I’ve ever made, so judge away,” she said. “You don’t know who you will fall in love with. You just don’t. You don’t control it. Some people have certain things, like, ‘That’s what I’m going for,’ and I have a subjective version of that. I don’t pressure myself.”

    “If you fall in love with someone, you want to own them—but really, why would you want that? You want them to be what you love. I’m much too young to even have an answer for that question,” she added.

    It seems kind of interesting that in light of this affair, Liberty Ross at the very least wound up with a boatload of Rupert Sanders’ money. Rupert Sanders was replaced by director Frank Darabont for the Snow White and the Huntsman sequel, and Kristen was dropped as the lead, as noted in the video clip above. So what did Kristen Stewart get? She lost Robert Pattinson, the love of her life–right? And have you seen her recently in anything spectacular on the big screen?

    Enough said. Maybe it really doesn’t pay to play in Hollywood?

  • Kristen Stewart Cut From ‘Snow White’ Sequel

    Kristen Stewart has been cut as the female lead of Snow White and the Huntsman 2, according to The Wrap.

    Surprising since the Twilight actress has repeatedly shared her excitement about a sequel.

    “Oh, it’s gonna be f***in’ amazing. No, I’m so excited about it, it’s crazy,” Stewart told Indiewire in December 2012 about the sequel.

    “I’m not allowed [to talk about it]. The other day I said that there was a strong possibility that we’re going to make a sequel, and that’s very true, but everyone was like, ‘Whoa, stop talking about it.’ So no, I’m totally not allowed to talk about it.”

    “Oh my God. F***, yeah. Absolutely,” she said on whether a sequel should be made. “And we’ve got a really amazing … [smiles] So, yeah. It’s all good. [laughs]”

    The Wrap also confirms that director Rupert Sanders will not direct Huntsman 2.

    Coincidence?

    One interesting take on all of this is the possibility that decisions for the sequel could be fallout from one of the biggest celebrity scandals of 2012 involving Stewart and with her Snow White director, who were snapped getting very cozy with each other during filming. The scandal led to a divorce for Sanders and a breakup for Stewart with her longtime boyfriend and Twilight costar, Robert Pattinson. Some speculate that there was no way Universal would go ahead with plans for a Snow White and the Huntsman sequel with the duo.

    According to The Wrap, Walking Dead creator Frank Darabont is apparently in negotiations to direct Huntsman 2.

    Since the sequel is likely to focus on Chris Hemsworth‘s role as the Huntsman, this may be another explanation for Stewart’s cut. Who knows? Perhaps the character of Snow While will not even make an appearance in the film. If Stewart does return, it would most likely be “limited to cameo” or a “handful of brief scenes.”

    In fact, the title may also be changed to reflect the focus on the Hunstman. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the film’s title will indeed be The Huntsman.

    On the other hand, Charlize Theron is likely to return as the evil queen.

    Snow White and the Huntsman grossed nearly $400 million worldwide. The sequel is slated to premiere in 2016.

    Katy Perry reportedly has lots of apprehension where Robert Pattinson is concerned. Although the two have been friends for quite sometime, a number of sources say that the “Dark Horse” singer is petrified of the possibility of getting hurt again.

    According to Cover Media, Perry and the famed Twilight actor have maintained a solid friendship for several years. Pattinson has had an on-again, off-again relationship with his Twilight co-star, Kristen Stewart, while the Perry was married to comedian-actor Russell Brand.

    Now, there’s speculation that things are slowly progressing beyond the friend zone. An inside source close to Perry spoke with LOOK about their alleged budding romance. A source explained that the Teenage Dream singer is interested in Pattinson, but afraid being seriously involved.

    “She’s mad about Rob but is so terrified of getting serious and hurt again,” a source told the British publication. “I think that’s why she’s trying not to get too involved romantically. She’ll also be super cautious of becoming one half of a celebrity couple yet again.”

    The source also dished about Pattinson’s interest in taking things further with Perry.”Rob’s behavior makes it clear to anyone who sees him with Katy that he’s interested in taking their friendship further.”

    Lately, the two have been seen together quite frequently. Several media outlets have reported that the two have been very close, often rumored to be “hugging and kissing” in public. The insider went on to reveal that the two don’t go a day without talking to each other. Despite their busy schedules, they find a way to communicate either by phone or “via Skype.”

    “The chemistry is undeniable. Rob can be surrounded by women but seems only to have eyes for Katy. They’re very close,” the insider added. “From the sound of it they talk every single day, by phone, by Skype, by text.”

    Will Kristen Stewart really sue Joan Rivers? The former Twilight star is up in arms over something the crass octogenarian comedienne wrote in her new book Diary of a Mad Diva. It seems Rivers took a jab at Robert Pattinson’s ex, making mention of her affair with Snow White and the Huntsmen director Rupert Sanders.

    “Many stars only do one thing well. Of course, the best one-trick-pony is Kristen Stewart, who got a whole career by being able to juggle a director’s balls,” Rivers wrote in her book that is due out some time in July.

    “I am now being sued by Kristen Stewart,” Rivers reportedly said to a TMZ cameraman. “She obviously didn’t read our disclaimer, which says it’s a comedy book. I can’t wait to get her into court because I’m gonna get a puppet and I want her to show me on the puppet where she thinks I claim she touched her director. I am looking forward to it.”

    “Her lawyer contacted my lawyer, which shows the sense of humor she has,” Rivers continued. “My answer to her was, ‘Be glad you’re not a Kardashian because they’re mentioned a lot more in the book’ … I’m a comedian. I’ve been doing it for 50 years. If people don’t get it, then don’t come and see me. It’s okay. Don’t read the book. If you’re gonna take it seriously, you’re a fool.”

    Some Kristen Stewart fans are standing up for their beloved Bella Swan, and taking their own jabs at Joan Rivers.

    It seems Kristen Stewart isn’t the only celebrity Joan Rivers takes merciless jabs at in Diary of a Mad Diva. She has aimed and fired at Jennifer Aniston, Miley Cyrus, Anne Hathaway, Taylor Swift, and Lena Dunham as well.

    Do you think Kristen Stewart is really going to sue Joan Rivers? And if so does she stand a chance of winning? That whole freedom of speech thing is likely to come into play–as well as the fact that the book is a work of comedy.

    If Kristen Stewart doesn’t want to relive her entire debacle of cheating on and losing Twilight costar Robert Pattinson when she had her escapades with Rupert Sanders, perhaps she should simply ignore Joan Rivers’ jabs and read a different book.

    Rumors are spreading about Katy Perry and Robert Pattinson’s blooming relationship. The two have been linked recently, but both of them denied the romance rumors. They have been friends for years, but have now been spending more time together.

    Last week, 28-year-old Pattinson attended the premiere of his movie The Rover in Los Angeles. Perry, 29, also attended the event wearing a black lace and sequin mini dress.

    A source reported that Pattinson’s eyes lit up the moment he saw Perry. “They hugged and kissed. He kept kissing her the entire night,” the source revealed.

    In an interview with Elle Magazine UK, Perry dispelled the romance rumors by saying, “Okay, so here’s the proof there was never anything going on with me and Robert Pattinson… I fart in front of him.” She also said that one of her rules is that she never farts in front of a man she’s dating. “He’s my bud, I’m like his big sister,” she continued. “The other day, I said, ‘One of the things I’m most proud of is not sleeping with you, Robert.’ And that’s true,” Perry said.

    Pattinson has revealed that he is over his ex-girlfriend Kristen Stewart. The pair broke up last year. Perry was there to support Pattinson after the breakup, and sources said that Pattinson was there for Perry when she ended her relationship with ex-husband Russell Brand.

    Pattinson, who is from England, now spends more time in Los Angeles. “I’ve really grown to like L.A. and I guess it’s my home at the moment,” he said. Perry also resides in Los Angeles and that may be the reason they are spending more time together. Recently, they were photographed together at the Coachella music festival.

    Despite being seen together several times, Pattinson insists that he is single at the moment.

  • Kristen Stewart Wants Demi Moore to Play Her Mom in a Movie

    Kristen Stewart allegedly wants Demi Moore to play her mom in a future movie, according to Radar Online.

    A source revealed that Stewart thinks an onscreen mother-daughter pairing would “help both their careers and somewhat depressing public images.”

    Both actors have went through very public breakups in the last few years. Moore’s eight-year marriage to Ashton Kutcher ended in November 2013. Stewart’s high-profile relationship with fellow Twilight actor Robert Pattinson ended soon after reports surfaced that Stewart had had an affair with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders.

    Stewart and Pattinson recently made headlines when it was rumored he was living with her after admitting to late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel that he was “homeless.”

    According to the Radar Online source, Stewart has admired Moore for many years:

    “It’s been a long-held dream of Kristen’s to star in a movie with Demi. She’s been a fan of hers for a good 15 years and is on the hunt for a fun action role for her and Demi!” the source said.

    Stewart doesn’t have a specific movie in mind yet. If she can track down a great one, there’s a chance her wish will come true:

    “Demi’s very receptive to working with Kristen, but it will all depend on what scripts she can muster.”

    Moore is no stranger to maternal film roles these days. She played Miley Cyrus’ mother in the 2012 remake of the French movie LOL and she’ll play Elizabeth Olsen’s mother in Very Good Girls which is set to release June 24.

    The 51-year-old actress will also star in the western Forsaken later this year alongside father-son duo Donald and Kiefer Sutherland.

    It was just announced that Moore will be replacing Sarah Jessica Parker in Wild Oats, which also stars Jessica Lange and Shirley MacLaine.

    As for Stewart, she’ll be starring alongside Juliette Binoche and Chloë Grace Moretz in French director Olivier Assayas’ Clouds of Sils Maria later this year.

    The 24-year-old actress will also star in Anesthesia with Glenn Close, Still Alice with Alec Baldwin, Kate Bosworth, and Julianne Moore, and American Ultra with Connie Britton and Jessie Eisenberg.

  • Robert Pattinson and Robert De Niro to Costar in ‘Idol’s Eye’

    Robert Pattinson is no doubt best known for his role as Edward Cullen in the Twilight series of films that thrilled audiences for five years, but that also more or less typecast the actor in his role as a sexy and very handsome vampire. He has gone on to star in a few additional films–most recently The Rover. Now he is receiving what will likely be his biggest break ever on the big screen–alongside Robert De Niro–in an upcoming film called Idol’s Eye.

    Not a lot is known as of yet about Idol’s Eye other than a vague description that calls it “a sophisticated heist action-thriller.” However lots is known about Robert De Niro, including the fact that most everything he touches turns to gold–or at least a nice grade of sterling silver. He has played such a vast variety of roles from Vito Corleone in The Godfather Part II to the hilarious role as Jack Byrnes in Meet the Parents, Meet the Fockers, and Little Fockers, that he will shine in whatever character he assumes for this new film. And he will no doubt work with Robert Pattinson (De Niro has not only acted, but produced and directed a long list of impressive films) to mold him into a more versatile actor.

    Pattinson has long shown great interest in moving far, far away from his role in the Twilight films. He has played some unusual roles in The Rover, Maps to the Stars and in Cosmopolis, too. It’s actually quite exciting to imagine him playing opposite Robert De Niro.

    Some publications say Idol’s Eye was originally titled Hubris, and that not much of the content, but merely the title has changed, since its inception. It has been reported that actress Rachel Weisz, known for her roles in The Bourne Legacy and Oz the Great and Powerful, has also signed on to star in the film.

    Robert Pattinson’s name was long synonymous with that of Twilight costar Kristen Stewart, who played Edward Cullen’s beloved Bella Swan. The two were an item for quite some time until she cheated on him with her Snow White and the Huntsmen director Rupert Sanders. The two went back and forth–dating now and then–since the split. Rob was recently asked during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter about whether or not the two are still in touch these days.

    “Oh, yeah,” was his rather allusive reply.

    Pattinson also talked about his prior roles and he expressed his desire to really prove himself on the big screen.

    “I don’t know if I’ve really particularly found my feet as an actor yet,” he said. “I have to prove certain things.”

    Might the role in Idol’s Eye opposite Robert De Niro be the catalyst that sends Robert Pattinson well past his vampire persona and straight into Oscars fame? It certainly seems like the components are all there. Waiting on the details and time frame of when this might be released will make for great excitement and anticipation for his droves of adoring fans. They have never given up on their hope that Edward Cullen might one day return in a new Twilight film.

    Robert Pattinson, as you can see, has made it very clear that Edward Cullen has seen better days.

  • Kristen Stewart Wows at Cannes Debut of “Clouds of Sils Maria”

    Kristen Stewart wowed fans and critics alike at this year’s Cannes Film Festival as she promoted her new film, Clouds of Sils Maria. The 24-year-old actress received a standing ovation for her role as Valentine in the new Olivier Assayas’ drama, heading to select theaters and the IFC network later this year.

    Clouds of Sils Maria shows a complicated relationship between an aging actress (Juliette Binoche) and her assistant (Stewart). In the film, the actress’s life falls apart as she takes a role in the re-staging of a play that made her famous 20 years ago, only this time, she playing the middle-aged character.

    Chloe Grace Moretz plays the Hollywood starlet that takes the younger role in the play, the role Binoche had 20 years ago; a complicated love triangle between Juliette, Chloe, and Kristen ensues.

    Clouds of Sils Maria promises to show a different side of Kristen than the big-budget Hollywood flicks we’ve seen her in, such as Twilight and Snow White and the Huntsman. Kristen was also excited to take on a role that was a complete reversal of her everyday life – playing the lowly assistant instead of the Hollywood star. “For Kristen to play the assistant was hilarious,” said Binoche. “Those kind of details she knows more than I do, in a way, because she’s really in a world of paparazzi and all that. We had a lot of discussions about that.”

    Adds director Assayas about the making of the provocative Sils Maria: “Movies are exciting to make if they’re outside how they’re usually made — if you’re trying to invent a new way, or have a new take on something that no one thought was possible to reinvent.”

    Kristen wasn’t the only Twilight star to represent at Cannes this year; ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson was there as well, promoting two films: Maps to the Stars and The Rover, both of which are earning Robert rave reviews as well. However there was no awkward run-in between the two; Robert made sure to leave the French Riveria before Kristen even arrived!

  • Kristen Stewart Glams Up, Dyes Red for Met Ball

    On Monday night, Twilight star Kristen Stewart wowed on the red carpet outside of the Met Ball wearing a metallic cinched waist Chanel dress with a feathered skirt and sequenced black tulle.

    The 24-year old, whose locks are now dyed red, appeared alongside her BFF Riley Keough, grand-daughter of Elvis Presley.

    There have been rumors that Keough has been in a romance with Stewart’s ex, Robert Pattinson. If the rumors are indeed true, it sure hasn’t hurt the girls’ friendship. The two were side by side at both the Met Ball and the after parties in New York City Monday night.

    Keough, also with red hair, wore a sleek black one-piece pantsuit on the red carpet; however, both girls quickly changed into more comfortable clothes after the big event, sporting Stewart’s famous look: jeans, tennis shoes, and baggy sweatshirts.

    In fact, oftentimes, Stewart even swaps out heels for her tennis shoes immediately after leaving the red carpet and going into an event.

    “For some reason it pisses people off when I change after a red carpet. If I think about why people have these expectations of me it makes sense, but I genuinely think that if people thought about it for two seconds they’d be like, ‘Oh my God, why do I care that that girl just put some f—ing sneakers on?’” the actress told People. “Are you seriously mad that I put on some Vans after an hour of being in heels? I’m so sorry to have upset you, you crazy person.”

    Stewart’s on-again off-again relationship with Twilight co-star Pattinson has been in and out of the media since the two appeared in the film together. In July 2012, Stewart publicly acknowledged their relationship after photos were published of the Snow White and the Huntsman star having an affair with director Rupert Sanders.

    “I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment. I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected,” Stewart told People the day the photos were released. “This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry.”

    Since then, Pattinson has been seen out and about with other females, including Imogen Ker, an L.A. hipster who is friends with Dakota Fanning, another close acquaintance of Stewart’s.

    Later this month Stewart and Pattinson will come face-to-face again at the Cannes Film Festival with two films they are involved with in competition.

    “Awkward is an understatement,” a source told Now. “Kristen hates confrontation, so seeing Rob will be strange for both of them. They have a lot of history together. Feelings don’t disappear overnight.”

    It will be interesting to see what Stewart will wear to the Cannes Festival. Will she glam up once again in Chanel, the company of which she recently starred in their latest campaign, or will she choose to be more herself, donning her black and white high-tops? Either way, it’s sure to make news.

  • Robert Pattinson’s New Film “Life” Gains Oscar Buzz

    Robert Pattinson, the 27-year-old Twilight star and ex to Kristen Stewart, just might have landed the role of his career. In Pattinson’s new film Life, he plays Dennis Stock, a photographer hired on to a traveling photo shoot with legendary actor James Dean (played by Dane DeHaan). Set in 1955, the film focuses on the real-life friendship between the photographer and the actor as they travel together across the United States.

    E! news reports that Robert looks happy while on set, sporting dark, slick hair and a 3-piece suit for most of filming, while laughing and playing around with costar Dane — perhaps striking up their own real life bromance? In between takes, the buddy actors rode on a motorcycle together and joked with crew members.

    According to Indiewire, Pattinson’s role in Life has serious Oscar potential. The blog, famous for its predictions, is claiming Robert could be a best supporting actor candidate alongside Johnny Depp, Josh Brolin, and Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul.

    “Since Twilight, Robert Pattinson has had nothing but praise from critics,” adds a report from EntertainmentWise. The site also speculates that Robert’s break-up with Kristen Stewart was a good move for his movie career, saying the offers have been “pouring in” for Rob ever since the split.

    Robert’s upcoming films also include The Rover, out in July, and Map to the Stars, starring alongside Julianne Moore and Carrie Fisher.

  • Kristen Stewart on Mistakes, Losing Robert Pattinson

    Kristen Stewart spoke recently during an interview with Marie Claire about her past mistakes, including that of losing Robert Pattinson by cheating on him with her Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders. She knows she’s made these mistakes and she hopes they take her to a better place in the future.

    The Twilight starlet, who is soon to star in a film based in a film based on Guantanamo Bay called Camp X-Ray, says she’s still trying to figure out a lot of things–one of them being relationships.

    “Some people have certain things, like, ‘That’s what I’m going for,’ and I have a subjective version of that. I don’t pressure myself … If you fall in love with someone, you want to own them – but really, why would you want that? You want them to be what you love,” she said. “I’m much too young to even have an answer for that question.”

    Of course Kristen Stewart’s mistakes have all been played out in public–on TV, in publications and all over the internet. That certainly has added some insult to injury for the 23-year-old.

    “I stand by every mistake I’ve ever made,” she said. “So judge away.”

    Stewart also talked about how she’s often the subject of public scrutiny when it comes to how she handles the public. Often deemed awkward, withdrawn or shy–she admits to it all.

    “People are like, ‘She just can’t handle’ – for lack of a better word – ‘the spotlight.’ No, actually, I can’t, and this is totally who I am,” she admitted. “I don’t try to force it or turn it into something else or fabricate this personality… so I totally agree when people say I’m, like, the most awkward person.”

    What a lot of people seem to forget, too, is that Kristen Stewart is only 23 years old. She is barely a woman. And yes, she has been in the public eye since the inception of Twilight–where she met Robert Pattinson. That life isn’t a real one as compared to the lives lived by most of those passing judgment. Perhaps now that she has admitted to her foibles the public will cut her a bit of slack as she works to figure out what she wants in a relationship, how to deal with the “people” side of being famous and more importantly–exactly who she is.
