  • Connie Ditto Gets Restraining Order Against Husband, Charges Filed

Connie Ditto, the woman who captured the attention and fascination of America when she went missing after sending her husband some bizarre-sounding texts, has been found safe and alive. That part you know.

Now the news comes that Connie Ditto’s husband, Mark Ditto, the man who pleaded with the public to help find his missing wife, has been charged with assault and taken into custody.

Connie Ditto is a salon owner from Henrico, Virginia. She sent a text to her husband, telling him she was not feeling well and was headed to a clinic. She then told him she having head pains and was going to have an x-ray at a local hospital. After that, she turned off her phone and went missing.

The public reacted to Mark Ditto’s plea for help finding his missing wife with a variety of theories.

Some thought Connie Ditto was cheating on Mark.

Some headlines called Connie’s texts to her husband misleading, since it was later discovered that she had not gone to a hospital and had, in fact, walked away from the clinic she visited.

Connie was found when a traffic license plate reader captured her plate and she was discovered in an Extended Stay America Hotel in Innsbrook.

But now it sounds like Connie may have had reason to hide from and mislead Mark. She says he assaulted her. Mark has responded that Connie is lying, and her daughters are backing him up.

“I’m totally floored. We as a family are very happy Connie was found unharmed. I’m very sad and sorry for her apparent health problems. I’m very disappointed by what she’s put her family through and all the people across the country who supported her search.”

Mark Ditto says the incident his wife is telling police about was not an assault, but that she was drunk and trying to drive when he and her daughters tried to take away her keys.

  • Salma Hayek: I Used To Get Guests Drunk At Dinner Parties

Salma Hayek has made more headline in the past year than she did in the first 10 years of her acting career. The Mexican-American actress has spoken out about Donald Trump, sexism in Hollywood, and activism.

In the middle of all this, Hayek was given the “Decade of Hotness Award” by Spike this year.

Salma Hayek commented about the award.

“When you start you’re like, ‘No, I want them to see me for my talent, and know me as an actress,’” Salma Hayek told reporters at the awards ceremony.

She recalled finding out that she was considered a “bombshell” after the film Desperado was released.

“My English was worse than now and I read the reviews that, ‘Salma Hayek was a bombshell,’ and to me this means that I was terrible, that I had bombed!” Hayek said. “Everyone told me, ‘No, no, it means that you’re great, that you’re sexy!’ And [I was like], ‘That’s it? They didn’t talk about my acting?”

Recently, Harper’s Bazaar asked Hayek a few personal questions about her downtime and how she has fun. They wanted to know her secret to a great dinner party?

“I don’t do this anymore,” Hayek replied, “but when I was young and insecure about my cooking, I had a great trick: I would always start the meal with tequila soup, which is made the chicken broth and a touch of tequila and lime. And then everyone would get a little tipsy, so if I messed up the rest of the dinner, they wouldn’t care and wouldn’t remember anyway!”

Hayek also recently made headlines when she got a restraining order against two women she said were threatening her and her daughter, Valantina.

“This case arises out of a bizarre pattern of behavior by two apparently mentally disturbed individuals,” Hayek said in her filing for the order. “Their actions include, among others, concocting ruses to meet Hayek’s family members to obtain Hayek’s contact information, impersonating Hayek to another celebrity, attempting to directly contact Hayek herself, and impersonating Hayek in contacting Hayek’s minor child.

“In one communication while posing as Hayek, [one of the women] made a veiled threat regarding kidnapping and ransoming Hayek’s minor child.”

  • Lark Voorhies: ‘Saved by the Bell’ Star Married to Alleged Gang Member, Mom Gets Restraining Order

Lark Voorhies, known best for her role as Lisa Turtle in Saved by the Bell, married alleged gang member Jimmy Green during a secret wedding in Las Vegas back in April, and now her mom, Patricia Voorhies, has taken out a restraining order against him. Lark Voorhies met Jimmy Green on Facebook.

TMZ reports that Jimmy Green is a member of the Bloods, and that he not only throws gang signs at Lark Voorhies’ mom, but has also been living in her home.

Patricia Voorhies claims that ever since marrying Lark Voorhies this past April, Jimmy Green has been sleeping at her home and constantly arguing with her–despite a previous agreement they made about him returning to his own home to sleep at night. Patricia Voorhies recently found Green asleep in her closet, and after waking him up, he allegedly yelled at her.

“You motherf—king woke me up, ain’t that a bitch,” TMZ reports he said to his mother-in-law.

The restraining order states Jimmy Green must stay at least 100 yards away from both Patricia Voorhies and her home. That doesn’t make Patricia feel any better about his marriage to her daughter, however.

She claims Lark Voorhies is in both an emotionally and mentally fragile state.

Lark Voorhies recently addressed her mom’s allegations via her rep.

“We are obviously concerned about the allegations and we are looking into the matter,” Voorhies’ rep Jennifer Wolfson said in a statement to Us Weekly. “Lark feels these allegations are not true and would like this cleared up as soon as possible.”

If Lark Voorhies is truly in an emotionally and mentally fragile state, she is likely being taken advantage of by this gang member. Hopefully the restraining order Patricia Voorhies has taken out on Jimmy Green keeps her safe, however it doesn’t sound like there’s much that can be done to protect Lark unless she admits the truth about her husband.

Are you shocked to learn the Saved by the Bell actress is living in this predicament?

  • Jenelle Evans: ‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Arrested Again

Jenelle Evans, best known for her role in the MTV reality show Teen Mom 2, was arrested once again on Tuesday–this time for driving without a license. This marks one of several arrests for the 23-year-old. Prior arrests were for harassment, stalking, possession of heroin, breaking and entering, being violation of a restraining order, assaulting a woman, and attacking her husband.

If that rap sheet doesn’t make her arrest for driving without a license sound like child’s play, then nothing will.

On Wednesday, Jenelle Evans took to Twitter to air her woes and try explaining away this latest arrest.

Jenelle Evans was initially held on a bond of $237.50, but was quickly bailed out about two hours later.

In January, Jenelle Evans became engaged to the father of her second child, Nathan Griffith.

“[Nathan] just tapped his glass, stood up in front of the whole restaurant, and made this big speech. How he loves me, he wants to be with me for the rest of his life. And he’s really happy. And then he got down on one knee and proposed in front of everyone,” she said of the night Nathan proposed.

It probably comes as no surprise to most that Jenelle Evans was arrested again. And while it wasn’t nearly as serious an infraction of the law this time, breaking laws isn’t something any mother of two children should be doing.

Do you think this is the last time Jenelle Evans will make news for an arrest?

  • Taryn Manning, Orange Is The New Black Star, Arrested In New York- Denies Allegations

Taryn Manning was arrested in New York after violating a restraining order.

According to gossip site TMZ, the Orange is the New Black star was arrested for making criminal threats to her former friend Jeanine Heller on Tuesday, November 18th.

Manning and Heller have had issues before, and a judge issued a mutual restraining order in September. However, Manning allegedly violated the order when she sent this text message to Heller: “I will kill you, bitch” … “Go f**k yourself and die” … “What’s taking so long? Shouldn’t you be dead by now?”

The violation against Manning has since been voided, and her lawyer Stacey Richman issued a statement regarding the allegations.

“In response to a reported arrest of Ms. Manning, please note that the District Attorney’s Office investigated an allegation of a violation of an order of protection,” Richman said. “The District Attorney declined to prosecute Ms. Manning and the arrest was voided. The allegation was false. It is unfortunate that additional false allegations by an individual convicted of violating orders of protection intended to protect Ms. Manning are facilitated by purported news organizations to perpetuate the harassment of Ms. Manning exponentially.”

“Ms. Manning is a law abiding person who has respect for the law and the privilege of her profession,” she continued. “The fact that there are no criminal charges against Ms. Manning with regard to the purported allegations against her is a clear demonstration of her innocence. Ms. Manning will as always maintain the high road. She wishes no contact from Ms. Heller and has had to spend great sums to hire security for her protection.”

Manning denied the allegations all along and took to her personal Twitter account to try and set the record straight.

“Oh! That’s what happened huh? I’d say get the ALL the facts correct before any posting @TMZ or tell the whole story. Let’s get it right!” she tweeted, and then added, “For a phone call and a lot of time on your hands, you too can get a news media outlet to post totally incorrect information! #sarcastictweet.”

Do you think Taryn Manning actually violated the order? Leave your comments below.

  • Taryn Manning: Lawyer Explains ‘Orange is the New Black’ Star’s Arrest

Taryn Manning: Lawyer Explains ‘Orange is the New Black’ Star’s Arrest

Taryn Manning of Orange is the New Black fame was arrested earlier this week for being in violation of a restraining order. Taryn allegedly made explosive threats against former friend Jeanine Heller. That violation, however, was later voided by prosecutors.

Manning’s lawyer, Stacey Richman, made the following statement regarding the arrest and the alleged violation.

“In response to a reported arrest of Ms. Manning, please note that the District Attorney’s Office investigated an allegation of a violation of an order of protection. The District Attorney declined to prosecute Ms. Manning and the arrest was voided. The allegation was false. It is unfortunate that additional false allegations by an individual convicted of violating orders of protection intended to protect Ms. Manning are facilitated by purported news organizations to perpetuate the harassment of Ms. Manning exponentially.

Ms. Manning is a law abiding person who has respect for the law and the privilege of her profession. The fact that there are no criminal charges against Ms. Manning with regard to the purported allegations against her is a clear demonstration of her innocence.

Ms. Manning will as always maintain the high road. She wishes no contact from Ms. Heller and has had to spend great sums to hire security for her protection.”

Taryn Manning, who is 36, allegedly violated this restraining order on Tuesday, November 18th. She reportedly threatened to kill Heller via text messages and social media. Citing court documents, the site reports that the messages read, “I will kill you, bitch,” “Go f—k yourself and die,” and “What’s taking so long? Shouldn’t you be dead by now?”

Do you think the statement issued by Taryn Manning’s lawyer clears anything up? Is she guilty of violating her restraining order or is this a typical case of ‘He said, she said?’

  • Sarah Hyland Gets Restraining Order Against Ex

Rumors about Sarah Hyland’s abusive ex-boyfriend Matthew Prokop have been swirling for a while now, but Hyland seems to have confirmed the rumors this week when she secured a restraining order against Prokop.

Hyland has not said anything about the restraining order, but one of her reps did release a statement saying,

“On September 19, 2014, Ms. Hyland obtained a Domestic Violence Temporary Restraining Order against Matthew Prokop. The documents filed speak for themselves. Out of respect for the court, the process and all parties, I have advised Ms. Hyland not to comment on the matter. We request that you respect the parties’ privacy during this time.”

TMZ allegedly obtained court documents that offered details about the restraining order and why Hyland felt the need to get one.

According to TMZ, Hyland claims in the reports that Prokop once pinned her against a car and choked her during an argument.

“His grip was so tight that I could not breathe or speak. I was scared and in fear for my life,” Hyland reportedly said in the documents.

It was shortly after this incident that Hyland asked her Modern Family costar Julie Bowen to help her end the relationship in a peaceful way. Hyland hoped that the breakup would keep Prokop from harming her, but the court documents claim that it only made things worse.

According to the documents, Prokop began to threaten Hyland after the breakup and even told her he would burn down her home and hurt her dog.

“He relentlessly bombarded me with vile, threatening and emotionally disturbing texts and voicemails including his own suicide threats,” the document said.

Prokop has not yet responded to the reports of a restraining order.

  • Miley Cyrus Alleged Stalker Served With Restraining Order

Miley Cyrus was granted a temporary restraining order on Friday against a man from Arizona who went to great lengths in his attempt to meet the Wrecking Ball singer. Devon Meek was the subject of several court documents filed on Miley’s behalf by her lawyers stating that Meek believes she is communicating directly with him via her songs.

Meek, who is from Sierra Vista, Arizona, was arrested back on May 16th and placed in a psychiatric hospital. The restraining order was obtained because he was very direct in saying he would try once again to meet Miley Cyrus once he was released. His arrest took place outside of a home he believed was owned by the singer.

One detective reports that Devon Meek told authorities they should “shoot him in the head” if he was unable to meet Cyrus. Detective Rosibel Smith also indicated in the written report that Meek “informed me that Mr. Meek stated that when he is released from the hospital, he will not stop seeking Ms. Cyrus and that he will continue to go to Ms. Cyrus’ residence until Ms. Cyrus accepts him or he dies.”

A hearing will be held on June 16th, at which time a judge will determine whether or not the restraining order should be continued.

Miley Cyrus has just recently gone back out on her concert tour. She was hospitalized as a result of an allergic reaction to a medication she was taking. Several overseas dates on her Bangerz tour had to be cancelled or postponed.

It’s got to be incredibly frightening when fans cross that line between enthusiasm and obsession, which sounds exactly like what Devon Meek has done. When someone suffers from mental illness their actions are often unpredictable. Hopefully this crazed fan gets the help he obviously needs and doesn’t cause any harm either to himself or to Miley Cyrus.

  • Eva Marcille Files Restraining Order Against Boyfriend, Shares a Picture With Him Days Later

Eva Marcille has lots of people wondering about her topsy-turvy relationship with Kevin McCall. Back in January, most would have assumed they were floating on cloud nine.

With the birth of their daughter, Marley Rae, they both took to social media with loving messages, doting on one another. They appeared to be the epitome of the ideal couple. However, things definitely aren’t as they seemed, and the truth is beginning to surface.

On March 28, the America’s Next Top Model star was granted a restraining order against McCall. According to TMZ, things got out of control at the Marcille-McCall household. The publication reports that Marcille claims McCall went “ballistic.”

The two had a verbal sparring match that quickly escalated, with McCall ultimately kicking down four doors in the house. McCall reportedly chased Marcille around the house, trying to take their daughter from her. The Grammy award-nominated singer-songwriter also threatened to hit Marcille.

In most cases, filing a restraining order as a result of domestic violence means you want to distance yourself from the person in question, right? Well, not in this case. While the news of Marcille’s restraining order caught the attention of the media, what happened just days later raised even more questions.

On April 4, Marcille shared a picture via Instagram of her and McCall with their 2-month-old daughter. Ironically, the caption for the picture read, ““#familyfirst.”

They appeared to be a happy family, despite the physical altercation that took place just a week prior. The picture is quite contradictory since McCall is required to stay a minimum of 100 yards away from Marcille, according to the restraining order documents.

Maybe the old cliché is true where Marcille is concerned. “Love hides all faults.”

Hopefully, Marcille and McCall can reconcile and repair whatever damage has caused a rift in their relationship. Otherwise, they’ll will be living out McCall’s lyrics and “chunking up them deuces.”

  • Eva Marcille Takes Photo With BF After Filing Restraining Order

The happiness of becoming parents didn’t seem to seep into the relationship between Eva Marcille and Kevin McCall. Or did it?

On March 28th, Marcille filed and won a restraining order against her rapper boyfriend accusing him of kicking down four doors in their house, chasing her around their house, and trying to take their two-month-old daughter Marley Rae out of her arms during a heated argument.

The restraining order requires McCall to stay 100 feet away from Marcille, but it seems he isn’t obeying the order. Nor does Marcille seem to care.

Just days after filing the restraining order against McCall, Marcille was all smiles with him and their daughter Marley in a photograph she posted on Instagram with the hashtag “#familyfirst.” She even tagged McCall and Marley (who at just two months old already has an Instagram account) in the photo.

And early Tuesday morning McCall tweeted out that we shouldn’t believe everything we hear.

So does this mean there is no longer trouble in paradise? That the couple worked it out?

Since being granted the restraining order and taking the happy family photo with McCall, Marcille has been posting many photos of quotes to Instagram. They look to be directed toward people who are choosing to pass judgement on the decisions she has made regarding her relationship with McCall. (Or maybe they’re just quotes she enjoys.)

One fan on Instagram posted the following comment on the last photo:”@evamarcille I wish you nothing but the BEST. No relationship is ever perfect & it just sucks that you’re in the ‘spotlight’ for everybody to THINK they can have a say on what goes on in your life. Every relationship goes through things some worse than others but at the end of the day it’s what right in your heart for YOU & your lil FamJam. Sending Peace, LOVE, & POSITIVE vibes Sister QUEEN.”

One fan seems to think the babymoon is over for the new parents.

  • Camille Grammer Speaks About Her Abuse

On Tuesday, Camille Grammer was granted a restraining order against her boyfriend, Dimitri Charalambopoulos, who attacked her in a Houston hotel room. Grammer had recently mentioned this relationship on “The Wendy Williams Show” while talking about her painful divorce from Kelsey Grammer.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQnDKQoXKhw

The forty-five-year-old reality television star claims that her 6’2″ fitness trainer boyfriend assaulted her on October 16th just days after undergoing a radical hysterectomy for the treatment of endometrial cancer.

Grammer detailed the chain of events related to the trauma. “He grabbed me by the hair, twisted it around his hand, and repeatedly pulled my head into the bed and its headboard. [He] succeeded in pulling out swaths of my hair and gave me a large, painful contusion on the side of my head. All the while, I was screaming for help.”

The attack lasted for 40 to 60 minutes. Pictures of Grammer’s face and wrist bruises as well as pieces of her ripped hair were used in the court filing. The restraining order granted by the Superior Court judge specifies that Charalambopoulos must stay at least 100 yards away from Grammer and both of her children (Mason and Jude) as well as avoiding contact.

Though Camille Grammer visited a doctor shortly after the attack to check for internal bleeding, there are other lingering concerns that haunt the beautiful blonde.

“I wake up at least twice per night with visions of his face as he was attacking me. I continue to fear for my safety and for the safety of my children,” Grammer said.

  • Dwight Gooden Threats Lead to Restraining Order

TMZ is reporting that former MLB pitcher Dwight Gooden has had a restraining order filed against him by his estranged wife. Monique Gooden had called police on March 1, claiming Gooden had made “terroristic threats.”

A temporary restraining order has been granted against Gooden. Though he had been living with Monique while a divorce is in progress, Gooden has now left the premises. The order also prevents Gooden from visiting his children until a court hearing on March 11, where a judge will evaluate the restraining order and consider whether it should be permanent.

Unnamed documents quoted by TMZ stated that Monique claims Gooden said, “All bets are off an I will hurt you and your family. You’ll see, just wait.”

Gooden was arrested in 2005 for allegedly hitting Monique, whom he accused of throwing a phone at him. He was later released on a misdemeanor battery charge.

Gooden has a history of substance abuse dating back to 1987, when he tested positive for cocaine during spring training. He is currently on probation related to DWI and child endangerment charges.
