  • Jenelle Evans Blasts Boyfriend’s Ex on Twitter

Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans took to Twitter to make some comments seemingly directed at present boyfriend Nathan Griffith’s ex Alison Stevens. Griffith has children with both Evans and Stevens.

Evans, 22, known for her hard-partying ways, recently won an academic achievement award from Miller-Motte Technical College, where she is studying to become a surgical technician – though the display of maturity didn’t seem to influence her tweeting habits.

Regardless, Evans fell on some hard times not too long ago. She had lost custody temporarily of her son Jace to her mother Barbara, and got married to Courtland Rogers in December, 2012. She became pregnant with Rogers’ baby, the two were married, Evans then claimed she had a miscarriage, when she actually had an abortion, the two divorced, and in December of last year, the Teen Mom was arrested during a domestic dispute with Griffith for disturbing the peace. The arrest added to a rap sheet which includes breaking and entering, assault, communicating threats and possession of heroin with intent to manufacture, sell and distribute. These events might have contributed to Evans’ mean-girl tweeting habits.

Evans vaguely took a shot at Stevens on December 3:

Stevens quickly countered by calling Evans “sad” and “pathetically jealous.”

Evans then went on the say, “No one mentioned u. Stop assuming. Jealous of what exactly? I have a loving family, great house, graduating soon, financially stable. I strive to do my best. I’m not jealous or focusing my energy on anyone or anything else but my future.”

Evans then accused Stevens of stalking her Twitter feed:

A few selfies later, Evans was back tweeting about domestic life:

Yay! Another decal came in the mail today!

Evans and Griffith welcomed a son named Kaiser on June, 29.

  • Kristin Cavallari Felt Manipulated on ‘Laguna Beach’

Former Laguna Beach reality television star Kristin Cavallari opened up to Oprah Winfrey during an Oprah: Where Are They Now? segment, and revealed that her memories of the MTV series are not very fond.

Cavallari was 17 at the time production of Laguna Beach began, and was dating fellow Orange County, California high school student Stephen Colletti. Cavallari alleges that MTV producers fabricated a love triangle between herself, Colletti and Laguna Beach princess/narrator Lauren Conrad.

Cavallari commented, “Laguna Beach was… it was tough. I felt very used and manipulated.” The television personality, now 27, added, “Basically my boyfriend at the time, the producers would have him go and take out Lauren Conrad, take her to dinner, bring her flowers, which never would’ve happened if it wasn’t for the show, for MTV.”

While explaining some of her at times abrasive behavior on Laguna Beach, Cavallari remarked, “Being 16, 17 in high school, not knowing really how to handle your emotions or even realizing what’s going on… I put up a wall. I put up a really tough exterior because I felt like they were really trying to take advantage of me. It was a really difficult time, and then when I saw it air, and saw the way that they represented me, I was really, really upset. I cried for hours and hours after I saw the first episode. It was hard, it was really hard.”

Cavallari, now a mother of two boys, married Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler in June, 2013.

Legit first try because he would only give me one shot. Tough cookie..making me laugh. Selfies are good luck now…

A photo posted by Kristin Cavallari (@kristincavallari) on

Commenting on the origins of the reality series, the former Dancing with the Stars contestant said, “I was a junior in high school and MTV showed up and did open casting for Laguna Beach. You go and you grab this 20-page packet and then they would take your polaroid and from there they did on-camera interviews. They sort of narrowed it down to these eight people. We weren’t all a group of friends, but there was all some sort of a tie with all of us.”

    LC’s casting interview:

“I still, to this day, think you should have to be 18 to do a reality show,” Cavallari added. “Only because of my experience.”

  • Patti Stanger Offers Jennifer Lopez Dating Tips

Patti Stanger, host of Bravo’s The Millionaire Matchmaker, has offered Jennifer Lopez some dating advice, and bluntly suggested that the actress should not “lead with the cooch.”

Stanger, 54, who is sometimes referred to as “The Simon Cowell of Dating,” was very forward in her remarks regarding what tactics J.Lo might implement to land a man. Stanger told Huffpost Live on December 3 that Lopez is the millionaire she would most like to match.

Lopez recently published a memoir called True Love, which documents her various romances. Stanger thinks that Lopez’ string of failed relationships has something to do with the pop singer’s sex appeal.

Stanger remarked, “I think I could help her, really. There’s some stuff that she’s doing that I would love to fix. The first thing is: Don’t lead with the cooch.” Stanger added that if Lopez could lose the sex aspect of her allure off the bat, a potential suitor would be able to engage her mentally, and focus on her “hobbies, wishes, and passions.”

Perhaps J.Lo’s new video for “Booty” illustrates what Stanger means by not leading with the cooch:

Commenting on Lopez’ June seperation from backup dancer and choreographer Casper Smart, Stanger said, “And actually, I would like her to date up and not down. There’s a lid for every pot.”

Lopez, who has been previously linked to Chris Judd, Ben Affleck and Marc Anthony, should be “looking for a billionaire, who just hasn’t found the right one,” according to Stanger.

“She’s a drop-dead gorgeous woman. She’s super successful,” said Stanger of “Jenny From the Block,” adding that “she made her money, she has her kids. Let’s make love a priority right now.”

  • Anna Cardwell Launches GoFundMe Campaign, Deletes It

Anna Cardwell, of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo infamy, recently launched a vague $20,000 GoFundMe campaign, which she has since taken down.

Cardwell’s GoFundMe page presently seems to be missing key information after her cancelling of it, but the page can still be accessed.

Cardwell, 20, explained her desire for $20,000:

Anna for here comes honey boo boo and Im not that famous yall donate if yall want it’s fine and I’m not begging I’m asking but plz be nice and donate what ever yall what and it would help us out alot:))))))

Yall don’t have to but this is to help my family get one our own and get possible things we need I woby be doing this if it wasn’t for my mom but donate if you want it’s yall choose thanks yall:))))))

A lone comment remains on Cardwell’s campaign bid:

“Why would you beg bc that’s what you’re basically doing, I hope you take this money and do something great with it go back to school and learn how to spell.”

Cardwell replied, “I’m doing what my fans suggested to do you don’t have to donate at all I just doing the to help my family so back off.”

The prospective donor added, “Are you really serious? Why would you do this? Unreal. Your credibility just shot to zero :(”

Here Cardwell speaks to Entertainment Tonight about her mother Mama June Shannon’s tendency to gravitate toward convicted sex offenders:

Cardwell also recently took to Facebook to solicit handouts. The reality starlet pleaded, “Hey everyone I need yall to do me a huge favor if yall got anything for like causes like bracelet shirt or anything I’m going to maybe start a business and sell everything and so few things of my own like shirts and pants and other stuff and if yall got some old cute shirt and pant in any size let me and and I can get them.”

Regarding her defunct GoFundMe campaign, Cardwell wrote, “I’m deleting my fund me cause everyone thinks I’m money hungry so I’m deleting it and sorry for the people who donated no fan give me money or anything its fine sorry for asking yall sorry.”

TLC’s Here Comes Honey Boo Boo has been cancelled.

  • ‘Mythbusters’ Co-hosts Are Leaving the Show After Ten Years

It’s the end of an era for Discovery Channel’s popular reality show, Mythbusters. Three fan-favorite myth busters, Kari Byron, Tory Belleci and Grant Imahara, announced Thursday that they will be leaving the show after working on it for a decade.

“Kari, Tory and Grant have been an incredibly important part of MythBusters for over a decade,” the Discovery Channel said in an official statement. “From explosions to car crashes to even more explosions, this trio has helped shape MythBusters into the Emmy-nominated series it is today. Everyone at Discovery wants to thank them for their tireless work busting almost 1,000 myths, and we wish them all the best on their future endeavors.”

Co-hosts Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman have commented that the show will now return to its “origins,” with just the duo overseeing the stunts and experiments. Kari, Tory, and Grant took to Twitter to post personal messages to their fans and share their gratitude over all their support. Said Kari Byron: “Thank you to all the fans who have supported us. It was an amazing run. I learned so much about myself and the world. I love you all MythBusters. I am sad for an ending but there will be exciting new adventures for us.”

Mythbusters also shared a video montage on their Twitter page as a tribute to the fan favorite hosts. In the past ten years, Mythbusters has been nominated five times for outstanding reality program, but has yet to take home the title.

  • Rebecca Romijn Offers Up Body Painting Advice

Rebecca Romijn knows a little bit about painting her entire body blue. She went through the agony of sitting in a makeup chair for nine hours a day while they transformed her from blonde supermodel into the character Mystique in the X-Men films.

The Skin Wars host offered up some advice to help out the contestants on the first ever body painting reality show competition. “I really felt like I had a lot to offer on the subject. And the amazing thing about being painted is that once you’re completely painted you don’t feel nude. You do not feel nude. And you’ll see it in the body language.” She added, “You sort of have to go to a zen place. You have to get into some fairly awkward positions to help out the person who’s painting you.”

For her role as a shape-shifting mutant in the X-Men movies, Romijn was totally covered in blue body paint. Her call times were often midnight in order to be ready to shoot by the next morning. Of course, one of the side effects of being covered in blue paint is leaving a trail, “Blue paint on everything, including every time I had to go use the loo, blue toilet seats,” Romijn said. “Everybody knew when I had to go use the bathroom because there was a blue toilet seat.”

It seems that Jennifer Lawrence got away easy when she took on the role of Mystique in the second X-Men movie she appeared in, X-Men: Days of Future Past. The blue paint caused nasty skin irritations when she did the first movie, so she got to wear a body suit the second time around. “Not that Jennifer Lawrence didn’t do a great job, she’s phenomenal. I love sharing that role with that girl,” Romijn stated. “She’s as cool as they come. But I do think nine hours of makeup makes you the villain you need to be to be Mystique.” X-Men: Apocalypse is currently is pre-production.

Skin Wars made its premiere last night on GSN. New episodes are set to air every Wednesday at 9 pm. It is the first television show that is entirely devoted to body art. Romijn hosts the reality competition. RuPaul, Craig Tracy, and Robin Slonina serve as judges.

  • Gordon Ramsay’s Own Kitchen Nightmare: Massive Debt? [UPDATED]

UPDATE: We’ve received a response from Gordon Ramsay’s spokesperson:

“This is an inaccurate interpretation of the public filings that were reported widely in the media back in May, and any claim that the company is anywhere near bankruptcy is ludicrous. It is standard for the head of the company to deliver loans to expand the business and ensure experiences remain first class, and the Gordon Ramsay Group continues to deliver a strong performance, with growth year on year.”

ORIGINAL ARTICLE: If what RadarOnline is reporting about Gordon Ramsay’s self-made empire is true, then perhaps the reality-television chef should hold off on trying to help any other restaurants stay open.

Instead, the 47-year-old celebrity might want to direct his attention closer to home.

The gossip website claims to have gotten their hands on exclusive access to company documents that show that Ramsay’s business empire is dangerously in the red.

Allegedly Kavalake Holdings and Ramsay Holdings, which together account for all of Ramsay’s business ventures and profits, report spending that exceeds earnings by millions of dollars.

In the case of Kavalake Holdings, $36.5 million in profit was reported for the 2013 fiscal year. While this number is impressive, the same company reports expenses totaling $45.8 million.

In one year, that same company declared a total of $50 million in debt for various reasons, including nearly four million dollars in legal fees.

While this matter solely focuses on Ramsay’s British culinary empire, the troubles lead to much speculation regarding the state of the celebrity chef’s restaurants around the world.

While Gordon’s television shows are very popular (he’s recently expanded from the restaurants and cooking to helping hotel owners), some wonder at the hypocrisy if these documents are true.

Is it wise to get advice about “turning one’s business” around from someone whose OWN empire is swimming in millions of dollars in debt?

Reportedly of all the restaurants that Gordon Ramsay has featured on his “Kitchen Nightmares” show, nearly 60% have closed.

Fans of Ramsay and the show say that the number would have been 100% had it not been for the show.

Even so, some troubled restaurant owners may consider as this news spreads.

Ramsay doesn’t seem to be too concerned about the family business hemorrhaging money at an alarming rate.

RadarOnline also reported that his 12-year-old daughter Tilly recently landed her own cooking show.

  • Flavor Flav Cited for Illegal Fireworks

Flavor Flav Cited for Illegal Fireworks

Rapper and reality star Flavor Flav was cited by police Friday at his Las Vegas home, just as he began his annual fireworks show. Flav had been launching thousands of dollars worth of illegal fireworks for his fourth of July event since 2009, though this year his neighbors’ complaints were heard, and authorities confiscated over 100 pounds of illegal fireworks.

Las Vegas Police Lt. Ken Romaine said that Flavor, born William Jonathan Drayton, Jr., was issued two fireworks-related citations. Flavor commented that his neighbors won’t have to worry about the fireworks event next year, as he’s moving it away from the neighborhood. He added that he doesn’t want to go to jail over fireworks, and that his roughly 110 guests were “having a ball” before police shut the party down.

Here is a clip from Flav’s 2013 fireworks show:

Flavor rose to fame as a member of the mainstream hip-hop group Public Enemy. He is also known for making the role of the “hype man” popular, by yelling “Yeah boy!” and “Flavor Flav!” during performances. When Rick Rubin initially signed Public Enemy in 1984, he didn’t fully understand Flavor Flav’s role in the group, and wanted to sign Chuck D as a solo act. Chuck D wasn’t having this, and Flav remained on as his comic foil, offsetting Chuck D’s more serious and political charged themes with relative silliness.

Flavor Flav displays his skills as a hype man in Public Enemy’s “Can’t Truss It” from 1991:

Flavor Flav picked up a misdemeanor charge in April over a domestic violence incident involving his stepson in 2012. He was originally looking at a felony, but struck a deal to complete counseling by August. The fireworks citations should not affect his ongoing legal issues, according to his attorney Kristina Wildeveld. “The rapper wasn’t ordered to stay out of trouble, he only has to complete the classes, which he is doing,” she said, adding, “Flav really loves America. There was no intention ever to hurt anyone.”

  • John Mayer Wants To Create A Comedy Reality Show

John Mayer is well known for crooning love songs and dating Hollywood starlets, but now he’s looking to add reality TV to the mix? Us Weekly reveals this week that John Mayer, a confessed lover of reality television, has the perfect new show, and he really wants it to be made.

The concept? A reality competition show called “My Funny Friend.” John gives Us Weekly the details: “Everyone thinks they have a buddy who’s so hysterical, he or she should be in comedy. People nominate their friends, and they go through a series of evaluations to determine if they’re actually funny or not.”

John thinks his show has potential due to its “human-interest angle.” “Think how much joy there is in seeing a friend happy!’” Mayer says. John may be forgetting the other side of the coin, here: what about those deemed unfunny? “It’s one thing watching someone sing badly, but it’s another thing someone being told that they’re sense of humour is a load of crap. It’s a bit personal,” Heat World says, who thinks the show would be “awful.”

Awful or not, John’s really gunning for it to happen, and even wants Anthony Bourdain to host. John admits he’s somewhat obsessed with reality television, and doesn’t think anyone should feel ashamed for watching shows like The Bachelor. “I don’t even feel like it’s my fault for liking it,” he says. “It’s not a guilty pleasure. It’s designed to be a pleasure.”

Perhaps John should just stick to the music; his folk-rock cover of Beyonce’s “XO” has gone viral in the last week. The cover, which he did on a whim while on tour in Australia, has been officially recorded and released and is already No. 13 on this week’s Billboard charts (Beyonce’s version peaked at No. 45). Listen to the cover below:

Mayer’s last successful single was “Who You Love,” which he recorded with now ex-girlfriend Katy Perry. Although the split is still fresh for both of them, there seems to be no hard feelings, as we’ve previously reported. “I have a lot of respect for [John] still, and I know it goes both ways,” she said. “There’s no bad blood, but I’m sure there will be inspired songs.”

  • Hank Baskett Reportedly Cheated on Kendra Wilkinson

On Friday, Hank Baskett will celebrate his five year anniversary with wife and former Playboy model Kendra Wilkinson. That is, if Kendra doesn’t leave Baskett before the date comes.

Recent reports state that Baskett, a former NFL star, had an extramarital affair with Ava London, a transsexual model famous for her YouTube videos. London, who also goes by Ava Masaniai, has come forward to tell her side of the encounter.

“I met Hank Baskett probably around the 22nd or 23rd of April this year. He contacted me through a video I had posted on YouTube and we exchanged information… I gave him the address to my house, he came over. I wasn’t expecting for him to come at the time he did, and I had just gotten out of the pool with my girlfriend,” London recalled.

From there, relations between Baskett and London quickly escalated. While London insists that the two did not have sexual intercourse, things apparently got “handy” and Baskett left quite satisfied.

However, Baskett’s satisfaction was soon replaced by paranoia, possibly due to the recent unfolding of events surrounding the affairs between Casper Smart, now ex-boyfriend of Jennifer Lopez, and two transsexuals. “He promised he would take care of her financially, and even left her $2,000 in a coffee cup at her house. He promised her $5,000 to keep her mouth shut, and even threatened to kill himself if the story got out,” reported an insider source.

If the time frame mentioned by London is correct, it means that Baskett cheated on Wilkinson while she was approximately 8 months pregnant with their daughter Alijah, who is now 36 weeks old.

As it currently stands, Baskett is not staying with Wilkinson at their home, but rather is crashing at a local three-star hotel.

Neither side has come forward for comments at this point in time.

  • Reality TV Shooting: Las Vegas Man To Be Jailed

There’s always a bit of danger when filming a reality television show about repossessing vehicles.

Not everyone reacts sanely to the reality that a failure to pay for one’s car over a period of time will likely result in its repossession.

However, sometimes a person will threaten your life that has absolutely nothing to do with the actual event.

That last scenario is what landed a Nevada man in a lot of trouble.

Las Vegas native Carlos Enrique Barron was sentenced on Tuesday to 90 days in the county jail and five years probation for opening fire on a reality television crew.

The 43-year-old had pleaded for leniency prior to sentencing, telling Clark County District Court Judge James Bixler he wished to avoid jail if at all possible.

Barron said that the incident had “changed” him and “taught [him] a lot of things.”

He also pointed out that despite shooting at members of the Repo Games crew, no one was actually injured by his actions.

Barron had originally claimed he was acting in self-defense.

Members of a crew filming the Repo Games reality television show were blocking his driveway. Their van was blocking his driveway, which was the initial cause of the confrontation.

Barron said he felt threatened and that’s why he opened fire.

Luckily for Barron, the jury acquitted him of the most serious charges linked with his behavior, including multiple counts of attempted murder and a felony count of discharging a firearm into a vehicle.

In January, the same jury found Barron guilty of felony assault with a deadly weapon, carrying a concealed weapon, burglary, and one misdemeanor count of discharging a firearm.

The maximum sentence for all charges would have sent the former special education teacher to state prison for upwards of 22 years.

Despite Barron’s request for leniency, Bixler said that he simply had to be punished. His actions put an untold number of innocent people in danger.

Said the judge, “You can’t do this and not have some kind of penalty attached.”

He did allow Barron to remain free for an additional month ahead of a July 24th status hearing.

  • Mark Wahlberg To Produce “The Big Brew Theory”

Mark Wahlberg is on fire. In addition to being a producer for the successful A&E reality show Wahlburgers, about the family’s burger business, the cable channel has now greenlit another Mark Wahlberg, Boston-based reality show called The Big Brew Theory. The title is an obvious take off of the hit comedy The Big Bang Theory.

Wahlberg will serve as executive producer for the reality show which centers upon four MIT grad students, who are described as “quirky and highly intelligent.” They have each put their life savings into their dream of starting a hometown micro-brewery. They bring in a hot female MIT undergrad to help. The show documents the trials and tribulations of attempting to achieve their version of the American Dream.

The Big Brew Theory will be also be produced by frequent Wahlberg partners: Stephen Levinson, Stephanie Drachkovitch, and Bill Thompson. This is the 42-year-old actor’s fourth reality show pilot with A&E. All the projects are set in Wahlberg’s home city of Boston.

The former teen pop idol turned successful Hollywood A-List actor has carved out an extremely prolific career as a producer in both television and film. Wahlberg has also received producer’s credit for: Entourage, Boardwalk Empire, Lone Survivor, Prisoners, and The Fighter (to name just a few).

The Oscar-nominated actor will be making several appearances on the big screen soon as well. He currently has five films in post-production, including Transformers: Age of Extinction, which is expected to be a summer blockbuster hit. Its release date is June 27.

  • Danica McKellar Breaks A Rib During DWTS Rehearsal

It’s not easy to be a contestant on the reality competition show Dancing with the Stars.

Jewel fractured her tibia in both legs. Steve-O suffered a pinched nerve and back spasms. Nancy O’Dell tore the meniscus in her knee. All of those injuries were suffered by Dancing with the Stars contestants during rehearsal.

The injury list, in fact, is a long one. Some contestants are able to battle through the adversity, some are forced to hang up their dancing shoes.

Danica McKellar, you probably know her best as Winnie Cooper from The Wonder Years, is also on the list of dancers injured during rehearsal. The math whiz took to Twitter yesterday to relay the bad news, a broken rib.

She followed with an update today.

McKellar spoke at the USA Science and Engineering Festival in Washington, D.C. earlier today. She said that she was wearing a rib brace underneath her dress.

So far, McKellar has been a front-runner in the dance competition. She scored all 9s last week. A couple weeks ago, she was only one point shy from being the show’s first perfect-scorer this season. The Wonder Years alum and her partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy will hopefully be able to put a routine together that won’t further hurt the injured rib area.

You can check out McKellar’s next performance, if she’s able to dance, on Monday 8/7c on ABC. This week, Ricky Martin is stopping by to be a guest judge.

  • ‘Ice Road Truckers’ Star Arrested for Kidnapping Prostitute

The show Ice Road Truckers on The History Channel showcases multiple different truckers driving on frozen lakes and rivers near the Arctic in places such as Canada and Alaska. The show’s appeal comes from the adrenaline rush viewers receive by watching these truckers narrowly escape peril after peril, all for the sake of making some extra cash. The show debuted on The History Channel in 2007, and by 2010 had enough of an audience that it spawned a spin-off entitled Ice Road Truckers: Deadliest Roads. Apparently the thrill wasn’t enough for one IRT: Deadliest Roads driver, however, as he has been charged for the kidnapping of a Las Vegas prostitute, along with extortion and coercion.

Tim Zickuhr was arrested on December 18, 2013 following a bizarre series of events involving the prostitute Snow White, real name Lisa Cadeau.

According to the police report, Zickuhr had solicited Snow White for sexual favors on the night of December 18. Instead of getting the money to pay her himself, however, he gave his credit card to Snow White and told her to go to the ATM to withdraw the money herself. And then things went downhill in a hurry.

After performing the sexual favors, one presumes, Zickuhr informed Snow White that she had withdrawn too much money and that he wanted the $1,000 she overdrew back. According to Snow White, however, she did not withdraw such a large amount of money.

“I only withdrew the $80 I was supposed to and an additional $120 that I wasn’t,” Cadeau revealed.

When the two met up the next day to settle said dispute, things got out of hand.

“I met with him because he was searching for me door to door in the neighborhood and I paid him $300. He held the grudge and needed $1,000 to pull himself out of a rut from the steroids he was in debt over,” recalled Cadeau.

When Snow White arrived at Zickuhr’s apartment, he attacked her, punching her in the face before tying her up with backpack straps, dumping dirty water from a mop bucket on her, and then forcing her into a closet.

After discovering that Snow White did not have the $1,000 to hand over, Zickuhr demanded that she call someone who could post the debt for her. That’s when Snow White’s street-smarts kicked in. Instead of giving him the number to a close friend or a pimp, Snow White gave Zickuhr the number of a police officer friend who had given Snow White his number in case she ever found herself in a precarious situation.

Upon connecting with the police officer, Zickuhr stated that he, “…had Snow White, and if [the officer] didn’t bring $1,000 to a phone booth at Lynwood and Sahara, he was going to go to Mexico to kill Snow White.”

Little did Zickuhr know that his neighbors had heard Snow White screaming in the apartment and had called the police. When the Las Vegas police department arrived at his apartment, the nervous Zickuhr forced Snow White to jump out of the second floor window onto a car port.

In the meantime, Zickuhr met with the police officer he had made the previous arrangements behind a casino and was promptly arrested.

Zickuhr is charged with first-degree kidnapping, extortion, and coercion. His court date is currently set for May 6.

  • Leah Remini To Star In Reality Series On TLC

Leah Remini is set to become the star of a reality series that will air on TLC, along with her other family members, and the show track their activity as they go about their daily lives.

Although she did not become a huge star after her big show like her co-star Kevin James did, Leah Remini was the wife on the popular sitcom The King Of Queens. The show aired on CBS, and ran from 1998 until 2007.

The show will be presented to audiences from Gurney Productions, the producers behind Duck Dynasty. Remini’s family’s show does not currently have a title, but the network announced that it had picked up 12-episodes of a half-hour docu-series.

Typically, celebrities have not been known to switch to reality television, but Mark Wahlberg and his family have also been seen on the new A&E reality series The Wahlburgers, showing that other people can do it too. Leah Remini is not as big as the Wahlberg’s though, and it is hard to know if people would be interested in a show that will focus on her family.

She is a native of Brooklyn, New York, although the actress is currently living in Los Angeles. She has been married to her husband Angelo for 10 years, and he helps run their family diner. In addition to following their activities as a couple, the show will focus on their 9-year-old daughter Sofia, Remini’s opinionated mother, and eccentric stepfather, and her sister, and brother-in-law.

Remini has been in the news a lot as of recently due to her recent break from Scientology. She was even referred to as a bigot by Kirstie Alley, and admitted that she was a hypocrite.

Nancy Daniels, the general manager of TLC, spoke of Leah Remini’s character, and how she will work well with the network when saying “Leah is a no-nonsense, hard-working, relatable mom, wife, daughter, and sister. Her sharp humor and unfiltered family are a perfect match for the network.”

In addition to her time spent on The King Of Queens, she has appeared briefly on shows such as Dancing With The Stars and The Exes, and was also a co-host of The Talk.

Leah Remini’s upcoming reality series is set to debut this summer. Production will begin next week.

  • Cheryl Cole Considering ‘X Factor’ Return?

Cheryl Cole Considering ‘X Factor’ Return?

Ex-Girls Aloud songstress and former X Factor judge Cheryl Cole may be returning to the popular reality television show even though fans thought that this day would never come again. The show is in need of another judge as Nicole Scherzinger recently announced her plans to exit the well-known show. Reports claim that earlier this month Cole flew to London from Los Angeles in order to meet with Simon Cowell and discuss the potential return.

According to a source who spoke with the Mirror, the reunion seems like a certainty at this point. “Her return is now 99 percent concluded. The meeting was a case of tying up some loose ends and things went really well. Now, Simon and show producers are just waiting on Cheryl’s confirmation. Everyone is really excited about the idea of having her back on the show. Cheryl is serious about rebuilding a relationship with the show. She wouldn’t travel across the Atlantic for the hell of it. She was very keen to hear what Simon’s vision is for the new series.”

Simon Cowell recently alluded to Cole’s potential X Factor return when he made a stop at London’s Hammersmith Apollo in order to catch the auditions for Britain’s Got Talent. “I am hopeful we can do something. She still has a poker face at the moment but we both need each other. Cheryl needs the show and we need her. She would be crazy to turn it down,” he said.

Any rumors of lingering animosity between Cole and Cowell are just that — rumors. Cole recently shared her philosophy about holding grudges and living in the past.

He didn’t mean to, but Cee Lo Green dropped a bomb today on The Ellen Degeneres show. The Voice coach will not be returning to the hit reality television show. “I’m going to miss The Voice, too. • Giuliana Rancic Stuns in Purple Gown at SAG Awards

Giuliana Rancic wowed onlookers as she worked the red carpet at the 20th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday night. Her purple satin gown, accessorized simply with a black belt and understated earrings, drew a lot of favorable attention.

As co-host of E! Network’s flagship entertainment industry news show, Rancic is currently one of the best known celebrity hosts. Rancic also co-hosts E!’s Fashion Police, along with Joan Rivers, Kelly Osbourne, and George Kotsiopoulos.

The Fashion Police quartet gets together after big Hollywood events to critique celebrity fashions. As a presumed expert on the subject, it’s no surprise that Rancic consistently impresses at awards ceremonies and similar events.

According to Rancic, her gown was made by Lebanese designer Basil Soda. The color of the gown drew references to color authority Pantone’s Color of the Year “Radiant Orchid.”

Just last week, Rancic was on another red carpet, this one at the Beverly Hilton Hotel for the 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards ceremony.

Rancic and her husband Bill star in their own reality show Giuliana and Bill in which they’ve chronicled Rancic’s fight against breast cancer and their struggles with infertility. The series premiered in August 2009 and wrapped its sixth season this year. It moved from Style Network to E! in October following NBC Universal’s decision to launch its new cable network Esquire on Style.

  • Friday Night Tykes: Televised Child Abuse?

Friday Night Tykes: Televised Child Abuse?

When I previously wrote an article about the NFL’s distancing itself from the Esquire reality television series, “Friday Night Tykes”, I had a feeling in the pit of my stomach that it was going to be even worse than I thought it would be. And as criticism pours in after the debut episode, it appears that feeling was correct.

I’m not talking about the sort of inevitable criticism that occurs over controversial happenings where people having differing points of views about politics.

This is a television show that at the end of the day is about children. CHILDREN. Little human beings that might still suffer from bladder control issues such as wetting the bed at night. I can honestly say that many grown-ups would probably wet the beds themselves if they had to put up with the sort of abusive language and behavior that these kids did.

    Some scenes are truly heart-breaking.

Imagine being a little eight-year-old boy whose parents made the decision that you should go spend quality time with your grandmother for two weeks so that you can have a window of time to enjoy some semblance of a childhood. Imagine being punished for it by being told to run until you could barely stand, and were ready to throw up. Imagine being taunted and laughed at by an adult who calls himself a coach, but is probably just a sadist looking to exploit someone who is too little to fight back.

This was the reality for a tearful Jaden “J Boogie” Armmer. Again, this was his parent’s decision, and if the coach had that much of an issue with missed practices, why not talk about it with the actual adults in his life?

This is just one of the many issues that people who dared to watch the show are having. Of course, showcasing questionable treatment of children in sports will always invite the justification of what we are seeing as “teaching discipline and respect” and “making men out of little boys.” I challenge you to find a sane member of the Marines who commands actual troops who would say that he would treat little children in this way. Because when you realize that the truly battle hardened among Americans would likely go about building up our young in an entirely different way, it just showcases the dysfunction of this show.

Perhaps it’s time Americans got off the couch and stopped allowing someone else to define reality for them. Because when we get to this point, where we are exploiting the pain of the most vulnerable among us for television views, we have truly lost our souls as a society.

  • Gosselin Twins Think Kate Is The Best, Most Annoying Mom

The Gosselin family was thrust into the spotlight in 2007 when their reality show, “Jon & Kate Plus 8”, debuted on TLC. Mom Kate had recently given birth to sextuplets after having twins, and the brood became a subject of fascination for many while cameras captured their daily lives. Kate was the first to admit that the constant filming caught both the best and the worst moments in her marriage to Jon, but it wasn’t until the kids were older that the real trouble was revealed to the world, and the couple split.

Since then, the parents have become tabloid fodder and have had some very public battles with one another, complete with Jon accusing Kate of using their children as “props” so that she can stay in the public eye. He told Oprah in an interview that there is almost no communication between the two of them other than what it takes to arrange for a visit, and said he believes his children have “developmental” problems due to their childhoods being spent almost completely on camera.

But the couple’s twins, Mady and Cara, say they’re actually completely fine. Never better, in fact. And they owe it all to their mother.

“Honestly? Our mom is the best,” Cara told People Magazine. “She wants us to have everything and she fights for that, and I love her for it.”

“My mom is fantastic. She’s a better parent than anyone realizes,” Mady said.

Pretty high praise, coming from a pair of 13-year olds. But they didn’t let her off the hook completely.

“She is so annoying,” Mady said. Cara added, “But she’s annoying on purpose. She does it to bother us.”
