  • Kellie Pickler Says Her Reality Show ‘Will Be Light And Positive,’ Sets Boundaries From The Start

Country music songstress Kellie Pickler is no stranger to reality shows as she herself was a product of reality shows American Idol and a winner in Dancing With The Stars. So when she was offered a reality show of her own, she already had a pretty good idea of how she wants it to be.

“We want to keep it light and positive,” Pickler said during an interview with The Associated Press at the set of her new reality show I Love Kellie Pickler. “There’s enough darkness out in the world. And there’s enough negativity on television.”

The 13-episode docu-series, premiering at 10 p.m. Eastern on Thursday, is produced by Ryan Seacrest and will revolve mainly on her marriage to songwriter-producer Kyle Jacobs.

Pickler wants to welcome her fans to their Nashville home but without the drama people are used to seeing in shows like the Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Fans will get to feel her easygoing and light personality in the series.

Even though they are doing a reality show, the country singer admitted she knew she hadsto set boundaries. “You definitely have to set boundaries from the start with anything you do,” she said of I Love Kellie Pickler. “And keep things sacred for you and your marriage.”

The docu-series follows the everyday life of the couple, who has been married for five years now. “People know what we do in front of the curtain,” the American Idol alum said. “They know what we do onstage or what he does in the studio. This is about who we are when we clock out.” What is Pickler like behind the cameras?

The country singer shares her talent and time to thousands of brothers and sisters in the army when she is not performing onstage. In fact, she has entertained 38,000 active troop members on nine overseas tours and more than a hundred events with the USO.

Pickler said that sharing her time is not enough to show her gratitude toward these soldiers who serve and protect the country.

  • The Duggars TV Show Canceled, But New Special ‘Jill & Jessa: Counting On’ In The Works

The Duggars, a family that stars in reality television show, 19 Kids and Counting, will reportedly have new specials on the TLC network.

The new TV special comes after 19 Kids and Counting was canceled in July amidst sexual abuse allegations against the family’s oldest son, Josh Duggar.

In a report, Duggar has admitted committing the inappropriate acts and said he “acted inexcusably” during his teenager years. The father of four has issued a public apology, and has checked into a Christian rehab facility in Rockford, Illinois.

Meanwhile, the new show, entitled Jill & Jessa: Counting On, will feature Duggar sisters Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald, who have already appeared in the special’s first promo clip. Jill, 24, and Jessa, 22, appeared emotional in a portion of the one-minute sneak peak.

“We were devastated,” Jessa said in the video. “We couldn’t believe it. You have to wonder: How did this happen?” Meanwhile, Jill added, “You’re angry and hurt and all of those emotions all mixed together. I cried a lot of tears. I still do,” while she wipes her tears.

While the emotions were evident, it was not clear why exactly the sisters were crying. One report says it could be because of Josh’s past abuse, the cancellation of the long-running show, the negative publicity the family has been receiving, or all of them. However, after the emotional outburst of the two girls, the sisters remained positive that the family will be able to pull through. They are also excited for what the future holds, including the “milestones ahead.”

The upcoming TLC special will feature the sisters and their families, and will follow their lives on a daily basis.

The Duggars new special, Jill & Jessa: Counting On will premiere on TLC in December.

  • ‘Kate Plus 8’ Star Kate Gosselin Turn’s 40, Celebrates In Cancun

This June 23, Kate Gosselin and her eight kids are back on television. TLC will air a special episode showing how Gosselin celebrated her 40th year of existence. Kate Plus 8 will be airing the vacation of the entire family at a resort in Mexico City at 10 PM June 23 on TLC.

Gosselin’s family headed to Cancun, Mexico in March to celebrate their mom’s milestone in the episode titled The Big Four-Oh!

The whole family stayed at the Karisma Hotels & Resorts Generations Riviera Maya where Gosselin got some downtime while her kids stayed busy.

Based on a preview clip from the show, Gosselin said that her time has been running so fast. “I’m turning 40. I can’t believe it. Please say you can’t either,” said Gosselin.

“She’s not going to like the fact there’s a 40 on it,” said Leah, one of the sextuplets. “But she can deal with it.”

In the clip, 14-year-old twins Mady and Cara and 11-year-old sextuplets Aaden, Collin, Joel, Leah, Alexis and Hannah are seen decorating gourmet cakes, snorkeling and having an off-road adventure.

The family had a private birthday lunch at the Haab restaurant. But afterwards, Gosselin chose to enjoy some kid-free time with a close pal as they cruised into Playa Del Carmen in a stretch Navigator for a night out.

Over the first few years of Kate Plus 8, the show was being aired on a weekly basis on TLC. However, TLC now opts to just air occasional specials of the show. Supporters of the show have loved seeing Gosselin’s kids grow up.

According to Gosselin, she would love to have the reality show filmed every day but the mom of eight said that she is blessed to still be connected to TLC.

  • Becca Tilley Says She Didn’t Love Chris Soules, Didn’t Get Picked

In the finale of The Bachelor, Chris Soules picked Whitney Bischoff over Becca Tilley. However, Tilley admits that she’s perfectly fine with Soules’ decision. “I knew going into the day that I wasn’t going to be able to say what Chris needed to hear for him to choose me,” Tilley says. “I was preparing myself the night before for what was going to happen.” It’s the most drama-free break-up in The Bachelor history. According to Tilley, she can’t just lie and tell Soules that she loved him. She did admit that she could’ve fallen for the farmer from Iowa if she had more time to know him better.

“I haven’t been in love before,” Tilley told Us Weekly. “I don’t have anything to compare it to, but I knew in my gut that it wasn’t right and that it wasn’t there yet. I think that’s where my head was at the end, that if I had more time I could get there, but I didn’t know that.”

And since Tilley likes to get to know the guys she is dating first before starting a serious relationship, it seems we won’t be seeing her in The Bachelor spinoff show, Bachelor in Paradise. Tilley seems to be as old-fashioned as they come when it comes to relationships, which is why some people are wondering why she signed up for The Bachelor in the first place.

Tilley explained her decision in an Instagram post.

I’ve had the question asked: ‘why did you go on this show?’….Why not? I had the time of my life. Met some amazing girls who will be in my life forever and met an amazing guy who showed me that there are good guys out there- the kind who are patient and genuine.

While Tilley didn’t find love in the show, it’s good to see that it was still a rewarding experience for her.

  • Bobbi Kristina Brown Featured in Reality Show While on Life Support?

Is Bobbi Kristina Brown part of her family’s reality show? Are they incorporating her existence on life support into a form of entertainment?

That’s exactly what TMZ is reporting, and while nothing has been confirmed and details are yet to emerge, just the notion of such a violation of dignity and respect is enough to make one’s toes curl.

TMZ reports that Bobbi Kristina Brown’s father–Bobby Brown–isn’t featured in this alleged reality show. In fact, it seems his sisters are the culprits here. If you recall, when Whitney Houston died, Leolah Brown accused Ray J of being responsible for her death. Bobby’s sister Tina told a reporter she did crack with Whitney.

Some people can’t do enough to get their faces and names on TV. But to sell out on a family member–a child, nonetheless–who is lying in a medically induced coma for over a month? That takes a brazen sense of self-entitlement that most human beings wouldn’t consider.

Bobbi Kristina Brown reportedly doesn’t appear in any of the reality show footage, but a ‘debriefing’ of sorts takes place each day at one of the sister’s (the show might even involve one of Bobby Brown’s brothers, too, as well as some nieces and/or nephews) homes.

Bobby Brown has since refuted TMZ’s claims.

“Yet again, TMZ has chosen to engage in false news reporting. There is no Brown family reality show that is in production which chronicles Bobby Brown, Bobbi Kristina or the medical emergency she presently faces at Emory Hospital. These reports are irresponsible and Warner Brothers as the owner of TMZ, should be ashamed to publish such nonsense, particularly one day before Bobbi Kristina’s birthday,” an attorney for Bobby Brown said in a statement.

Bobbi Kristina Brown has been in a medically induced coma since January 31st. Her boyfriend Nick Gordon is under investigation for what is expected to have been a situation involving criminal activity.

Whether or not Bobbi Kristina Brown survives, it is unthinkable that she would be featured in any way in her family’s reality show. Hopefully Bobby Brown–if he, in fact, isn’t involved–will take legal action to put a stop to this kind of disrespect.

Who do you believe in this reality show situation? Do you think one is being films? Is Bobby Brown telling the truth or is he covering for his family members?

  • Cheryl Burke Leaves ABC’s ‘Dancing With the Stars’ for NBC Show

Cheryl Burke is leaving ABC’s Dancing With the Stars for a new, as yet unnamed, show on NBC. Rumor has it the new show will also be a reality competition series, and Cheryl will no doubt use her talent as a dancer–and maybe even more. Us Weekly confirms that both Cheryl Burke’s departure from DWTS and signing with the new show are done deals.

“Cheryl is leaving the ABC series for a new variety show on NBC,” a source tells them. “The new NBC show is in its very early stages, but likely will be a competition reality series and Burke will perform.”

Burke hinted back in the fall that she would soon be leaving Dancing With the Stars. She danced her first season on the show back in 2006 and her most recent contestant partner was Antonio Sabato, Jr.

“I never thought I’d be able to walk away,” she said during an interview with People. “But after a decade of something, it’s time for me to move on and try something different, to be challenged, to feel inspired. Dancing with the Stars will always be a part of my life. Dancing is what I’ve done since I was a little girl. But it was very clear the show only wanted me back as a dancer. They weren’t interested in using me for other things and letting me grow.”

“As of now, this is probably going to be my last season. I started when I was 20. I’m 30. I feel like I just want to try new things and just see what’s out there,” she said during an interview back in September.

“Contractually, my contract is over and there’s other opportunities that have been out there for me,” she said during an interview with TV Guide a couple of months ago. “It’s so hard for me to talk about this, because I owe my life to Dancing with the Stars. They’ve changed my life completely. They’re my family and it’s always hard to say goodbye…to a bunch of people that really believed in me from the start, and continued to believe in me for the last 10 years.”

Cheryl Burke’s departure from Dancing With the Stars will no doubt leave an obvious void. Fans will be glad they can find her over on NBC, however. It will certainly be interesting to learn what kind of show producers have in mind. Do you suppose it will be in direct competition with Dancing With the Stars?

  • Hannah Montana: How Kendall Jenner Describes Life

Hannah Montana was the character on a Disney Channel show of the same name. Played by Miley Cyrus well before her days of twerking, Hannah led a double life–one of a normal teenager, and the other of a rockstar. Kids at Hannah Montana’s school didn’t know she was the popular rockstar. Her ‘Hannah Montana’ moniker was her stage name only.

Kendall Jenner recently said she feels a bit like Hannah Montana. She explains how her two worlds are her modeling career and being part of a reality show family on Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

“It’s definitely two different worlds,” she said during a recent interview. “I feel like Hannah Montana. But it’s fun.”

Kendall Jenner recently landed a stellar contract as the new face of Estee Lauder. While that certainly isn’t akin to Hannah Montana singing to tweens on a concert stage, the difference between the modeling life and that of a reality show star as as diverse as the Disney Channel character’s.

“It’s something that I didn’t really expect to happen so quickly. It’s so crazy,” she said.

How do you suppose Miley Cyrus would feel if she knew Kendall Jenner was comparing her current life situations to that of the role that made the ‘Wrecking Ball’ singer a household name?

How would Kris Jenner feel about her daughter comparing her life to that of Hannah Montana?

Kendall Jenner is well on her way to an amazing modeling career. Do you think the day will soon come when she leaves her reality show career on Keeping Up With the Kardashians behind?

  • Kim Kardashian Cancels Her Trip To India To Appear On Reality Show

Kim Kardashian had to cancel her trip to India.

According to E! News, the Keeping up with the Kardashians star, had to axe her trip to India due to “visa issues.”

“Kim had to go to Dubai from India, but as per visa rules she had to appear at the consulate office in Mumbai as she was coming from a foreign country and heading to another foreign country,” a source told the Hindustan Times of the reality star who is currently in Australia promoting her new fragrance Fleur Fatale.

“Unfortunately, her schedule is too tight and she would have been left with no time if she had squeezed in a visit to the consulate. She had to therefore cancel her India trip as she had a lot of commitments in Dubai,” the source added.

Kim was supposed to travel to India to appear on their version of America’s reality show Big Brother called Bigg Boss.

Kardashian had originally released a statement in Hindi announcing her appearance that read: “Hello India… I, Kim Kardashian, am coming to India… in Bigg Boss’s house.”

Unfortunately, she had to issue another statement explaining that she would not be able to follow through with her obligations. “To all my wonderful fans in India, I’m so disappointed I wasn’t able to come to India as planned,” Kim said. “When the opportunity presented itself to make the trip, there was a short window to coordinate all of the elements necessary to make it happen. Unfortunately, time ran out so the trip has been canceled. I look forward to rescheduling and meeting everyone soon.”

What do you think about Kim Kardashian cancelling her visit at the last minute? Should she have followed through with her obligation? Leave your comments below.

  • Kim Kardashian To Appear On Indian Reality Show

Kim Kardashian, of Keeping up with the Kardashians, next big move is to guest star on the Indian reality show Bigg Boss.

The show is similar in format to America’s Big Brother, and follows models and actors that are locked in a home together for 90 days without phone or internet access.

According to The Telegraph, over 150 million viewers tuned in to watch Bigg Boss ‘ seventh season last year, making it the most viewed reality show in India. Despite last year’s success, the ratings seem to be falling, and they are hoping by having Kim come on as a guest star, the ratings will start increasing again.

On Sunday, after the appearance was announced, Kim issued a statement in Hindi which translates to, “Hello India… I, Kim Kardashian, am coming to India… in Bigg Boss’s house.”

The statement added that Kim, who will be visiting India for the first time, will be making an appearance on Saturday to interact with the contestants.

Kardashian is not the first person to make a guest appearance on the show. Previously, wrestler Khali, actress Pamela Anderson, and Australian cricketer Andrew Symonds made guest appearances.

Kardashian also made headlines last week after her photos from a photo shoot with Paper magazine were revealed.

“For our winter issue, we gave ourselves one assignment: Break The Internet,” Paper magazine said. There is no other person that we can think of who is up to the task than one Kim Kardashian West. A pop culture fascination able to generate headlines just by leaving her house, Kim is what makes the web tick.”

  • June Shannon Reportedly Dating Sex Offender

June Shannon, also known as “Mama June,” the matriarchal figure featured on the popular TLC network reality show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, is reportedly dating a convicted child molester – which may have halted any future production of the Toddlers & Tiaras spin-off.

In a picture obtained by TMZ, Shannon, 35, can be seen cozying up next to Mark McDaniel, who was released from prison in March, after serving nearly ten years for aggravated child molestation.

According to Georgia’s sex-offender registry, McDaniel, 53, was convicted in May, 2004, after forcing oral sex on an eight-year-old, who is incidentally a relative of Shannon’s. Mama June and McDaniel reportedly had been dating at the time of the offense.

Mama June’s second-youngest of four daughters, Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon, has claimed that the photo featuring McDaniel was Photoshopped, and that her mother has been out of contact with him for a decade.

Shannon herself took to Facebook, and commented, “I want to make a post trying to clear up the rumors remember you can’t believe everything you read! Ppl sell stories to the tabloid everyday that r false! It isnt true i promise my kids r #1 priority over anything else and I would never put them in danger period over this or anything else they r my life this is my past I left him 10 yrs ago for it and I wouldn’t go back.”

Mama June reportedly separated from Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson, the father of nine-year-old Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson, in September, over suspicion of his possible infidelity.

A representative for The Learning Channel commented to People Magazine, “TLC is not currently in production on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. We are very concerned about this new information and are reassessing the future of the series.”

  • Kendall Jenner Becomes Simply ‘Kendall?’

Kendall Jenner has made her fashion modeling debut for Vogue. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star models a series of scarves in the Patrick Demarchelier editorial shot for the magazine. It seems with this big modeling debut comes a transformation of sorts as well. Kendall Jenner is now supposedly simply known as ‘Kendall.’

Kendall Jenner’s modeling agency–The Society Management–now shows the popular reality star on its contact sheet of models, and she is dubbed only ‘Kendall.’

Nothing about Kendall being a reality star is mentioned with regard to her Vogue debut. In fact, she has in the past done a lot to distance herself from the Keeping Up With the Kardashians moniker, for fear it might damage her new career.

”What I have has almost worked against me,” she said recently. ”I had to work even harder to get where I wanted because people didn’t take me seriously as a model. Because of the TV show. I went on castings and some people weren’t feeling me because of my name. But it was great when people didn’t recognize me. I was like, ‘Thank you. Please don’t recognize me.”’

How do you suppose Kendall’s mom Kris Jenner and her dad Bruce Jenner will react when they learn that she has possibly dropped her last name? Will they be completely understanding that she must distance herself from the ‘trashy’ aspects of their reality show fame and fortune or do you think they’ll be insulted and very upset with her instead?

Do you think if Kendall Jenner truly becomes just ‘Kendall’ that her one word moniker will have the power of others who have done the same? Think Madonna, Cher, Iman, Beyonce, and more. Will people one day immediately recognize ‘Kendall,’ too?

  • Bruce Jenner Debuts Tangerine Mullet

Bruce Jenner, patriarch of the first family of reality television and self-proclaimed world’s greatest athlete, was spotted sporting a new mullet-esque hairdo on Friday in Calabasas, California at a local Starbucks.

Jenner, 64, who is no stranger to reinventing his look, was photographed wearing a striped polo shirt and khaki pants, while his patchy, chemically damaged, auburn-tinged mullet blew in the wind.

During a recent episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Jenner was a tad flabbergasted when his wife Kris walked in on him getting highlights from celebrity hairstylist Tracy Cunningham. The getting-of-hair-did occurred at step daughter Khloe Kardashian’s house, where Kris suddenly appeared and scolded Bruce for resembling a “baked potato,” after his dye job was revealed.

At one point during the appointment with Cunningham, Jenner commented, “We’re not worried about Kris. We’re worried about me.”

    Here is the clip:

Even “jesus” is concerned with the new look:

More Twitter commentary concerning Jenner’s physical metamorphosis:

Jenner told US Weekly back in November, “I turned 64 two weeks ago and I still have hair to grow… I’m celebrating! [My ponytail] is driving them (the Jenner/Kardashian clan) all crazy! It’s absolutely wonderful.”

Despite the rest of his half-siblings’ disdain for his father’s look, Brandon Jenner commented, “I want him to be able to grow his hair and do whatever he wants to do.” Brandon added that Bruce has his “full support.”

  • Kate Gosselin: Was Reality Show Scripted?

Kate Gosselin is in the news quite a bit lately, with recent claims that her nanny outed her for maintaining a strange rule book and now word that the reality TV show on which she starred with ex-husband Jon Gosselin and their six kids was scripted. This claim comes from Robert Hoffman, an author who really seems out to get Kate Gosselin, and has printed many such claims in his book, Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled the World.

The latest claim was even a topic of conversation between Kate Gosselin and the ladies on The Talk back in 2011.

“We’re not scripted. You heard me. We are not scripted. We’re living. The kids run in and out of the frame and they just live,” Kate said at the time.

Robert Hoffman begs to differ. He says that after some digging–yes, he has in fact even admitted to digging through Kate Gosselin’s garbage–he has found evidence that the Jon & Kate Plus 8 was in fact scripted.

The following are what Hoffman says are “‘scripted,’ voice-over assignments, written for and given to Kate, telling her exactly what to say” on the hit TLC show during two early episodes of the series.

    EPISODE #7
“So we thought it might be fun to take them to have their head shots taken.”

“But before we left for the photo shoot, we had our Saturday pancake breakfast, which has now become a Gosselin family tradition.”

“After pancake breakfast, there was a bit of a potty training party happening in the laundry room.”

“After pancake breakfast, a potty training session began, that was somewhat supervised by Mady and Cara.”

“Not surprisingly, Joel didn’t manage to use the potty that day.”

    EPISODE #8
“Aunt Jodi, my brother’s wife, is coming over today to get the twins suitcases.”

“Uncle Kevin and Aunt Jodi are coming tonight. They’re bringing Cara and Mady with them. And our friend Beth will be there as well.”

“I had planned the dinner for after the babies went to bed, and a neighbor came over to sit while they were sleeping.”

“We had a plane to catch to Florida, and there we were stuck in the snow.”

“Jodi and Kevin have 4 kids of their own, and Cara and Mady really love spending time with their cousins.” (or something like this)

“So Jodi helped them bake cobweb cookies and meringue puffs” (is that what they were?)

Robert Hoffman admits that the entire show didn’t appear to be scripted, but that it definitely didn’t appear to be completely off the cuff, with cameras viewing completely unscripted footage either. He says the shows were “totally scheduled with story lines planned in advance” and adds that Kate Gosselin was given her schedule for the week to let her know where her family would be going.

“There was absolutely nothing ‘organic,’ normal, or natural about the Gosselin children being filmed,” Hoffman writes.

Maybe the notion that the kids were used to the show being scripted helps explain how two of Kate Gosselin’s daughters completely embarrassed her on national TV when their talk wasn’t scripted?

Kate Gosselin described Jon & Kate Plus 8 as being unscripted during a Q & A special that included the show’s producers. She was asked then if their show was ‘realistic.’

“Yes. It’s very realistic. There’s no scripting,” Kate quickly responded. “There’s a plan about this is what we want to get. Right, that’s important for us to let people know we aren’t hiding anything. Our goal is to show people how hard this job is.”

Has Kate Gosselin been caught in yet another lie or is Robert Hoffman simply better than she is at telling tall tales? Which one of these two do you believe?

  • Kate Gosselin: Former Nanny Rats Her Out

Kate Gosselin has at least one former nanny who clearly wasn’t fond of the Jon & Kate Plus 8 star–so she ratted her out to the media. No, she didn’t spill heinous secrets like author Robert Hoffman claims in his book, Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled the World–but she did rat her out over an alleged rule book that nannies were to abide by.

An unnamed former nanny claims Kate Gosselin has a rule book that not only clearly illustrates the reality TV star’s pet peeves, but at times even instructs the nanny to ‘be Kate.’

As per the former nanny’s interview with Kate Gosselin, “When Jon called the kids on the phone, Kate said to us nannies, ‘You are Kate, so always listen in on the phone calls,’” she recalled how her former boss would want the nannies to put themselves in her shoes and do as she would.

“We always had to keep an ear and eye on what was going on. Kate would say she had no problem with the kids having a relationship with Jon, but it always felt like a façade to me.”

In addition to being super sleuths, Kate Gosselin’s nannies did housework, but could only vacuum at certain times of the day, had to be very careful about slamming doors, and were cautioned about “not putting anything on the ground.” Also, everything had to be wrapped up by 9:00 P.M.

Meanwhile, according to Kate Gosselin’s Twitter posts, life is grand in her home with her eight children.

Did this former nanny get done because of Kate’s rule book? No. It was supposedly when she witnessed Kate’s behavior toward one of her children that this unnamed nanny decided to call it quits.

The nanny said that she ultimately quit after witnessing certain behavior she was uncomfortable with, such as Kate spanking son Colin—whom she described as the ‘busiest’ of the eight kids and the one most often in trouble—with a plastic spoon in front of his brothers and sisters.

What do you think? Is this simply a new case of more Kate Gosselin bashing or is it further proof that the pretty, smiling woman on the occasional TV talk show who wants to portray a loving-but-strict mom is really a piece of angry work? Might more nannies come out of the woodwork with similar stories now that this one has spoken out? Will any of them dare reveal their identities?

This former nanny did add, by the way, that the children love–and frequently watch–old episodes of Jon & Kate Plus 8. The supposedly call it ‘Mommy and Daddy’s show.’

Are they mourning what once was or is this a case of Kate fueling her dreams that they will one day return to the world of reality TV?

  • Kendall Jenner: Might ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ Hurt Modeling Career?

Kendall Jenner is fast climbing the ladder to a successful career as a fashion model. Might appearing on Keeping Up With the Kardashians in some way hurt her career or hinder that success? Rumor has it the Givenchy model is now trying to separate herself from the reality show that has made her family–including sisters Khloe, Kourtney, and Kim Kardashian–a household name.

“She has been advised by friends in the fashion industry that reality TV could damage her modeling career,” a source said recently.

It’s interesting to note that despite such a warning, Kendall Jenner is under contract with E! to continue appearing on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. She has opted, however, not to become involved with a spin-off series that is in the development stages.

“Kendall had the option to pull out of any other potential shows and that’s exactly what she’s done,” the source added.

Strangely enough, Kendall has recently demanded twice the typical pay she makes per season for appearing on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Is this Kendall’s way of trying to get canned so she can move on with her modeling career? E! is presently touting Kendall for a Teen Choice Award. If her demands are true, maybe they simply haven’t caught on yet?

The world of top fashion models is a rather elite group–and it doesn’t just include the models, but agents and photographers, too. Face it, Keeping Up With the Kardashians is a pretty trashy TV show. Being involved could actually make a difference in how people within the modeling world perceive Kendall Jenner. Some might take her far less seriously because she stars on a reality show.

Hopefully Kendall continues to prove herself in the jobs she has already acquired. She has certainly turned heads walking runways for both Chanel and Givenchy.

There’s no doubt that Kendall Jenner has what it takes to make it in her choice of careers. Will a career that was chosen for her–that of a reality TV show star–get in the way of her realizing her dream?

  • Lisa Rinna: Is She ‘Real Housewives’ Bound?

Lisa Rinna: Is She ‘Real Housewives’ Bound?

Lisa Rinna may soon be one of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Rumors about the former Days of Our Lives cast member (Rinna played Billie Reed on the show) joining the popular reality show are running rampant. Rumor also has it that RHOBH star Brandi Glanville isn’t happy about the show’s addition.

“Lisa is getting along with many of the ladies, with the exception of Brandi and Yolanda Foster. Brandi’s problem with Lisa is that she is happily married, and has two beautiful daughters. According to Brandi, Lisa has the perfect life, and she is very jealous of that,” a source claims.

Brandi Glanville, of course, is the ex-wife of Eddie Cibrian. The former couple has two sons. Cibrian is now married to LeAnn Rimes–with whom he was carrying on long before his split from Brandi or LeAnn’s split with her husband, Dean Sheremet. They’re now splashing their lives on their own reality show–aptly titled LeAnn and Eddie. The point here is that Brandi Glanville is apparently jealous of Lisa Rinna because she has a happy marriage and a happy family. She has been married to actor Harry Hamlin for seventeen years–which by Hollywood standards is a lifetime. Lisa and Harry have two daughters.

Brandi Glanville took to Twitter last week to say she gets along perfectly with Lisa Rinna.

Bravo has thus far declined to comment on whether or not Lisa Rinna is a new cast mate on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Perhaps it’s just a rumor. Or perhaps they’re waiting for a big promo of their own via TV and social media.

As you can plainly see from the video clip above, this isn’t the first time the notion of Lisa Rinna joining RHOBH has floated in the breeze.

Will it happen for real this time?

  • Jenelle Evans: ‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Welcomes Baby Boy

Jenelle Evans, part of the Teen Mom 2 cast on MTV, welcomed a baby boy into the world on Sunday, June 29th. This is the first child for boyfriend Nathan Griffin and the second for Evans, whose older son Jace is four. The new baby’s name is Kaiser, which means ’emperor’ in German.

The baby boy was welcomed to the world at 1:57 in the afternoon, weighing in at an impressive seven pounds and one ounce. Mom and Dad announced back in December that they were expecting a baby together. Jenelle said at that time she didn’t want too many years between her children, but that the almost five years between the new baby and Jace would be just right.

“Jace is getting older — he’s gonna be almost five — so, it’s like, I don’t want him to be so separated from his siblings,” she said when they made their announcement of her pregnancy.

Jenelle retweeted Nathan’s baby announcement message the day after their new baby boy was born.

On Tuesday it was clear that Jenelle Evans was planning to enjoy the warmth and cuddles the joy of holding a new baby can bring.

Teen Mom 2 fans are likely very excited about the birth of Jenelle Evans and Nathan Griffin’s baby boy–except, of course, those Teen Mom 2 stars and their fans who don’t like Jenelle. Oh, yes–there are lots of that kind of thing on this show. It’s on MTV after all.

Nonetheless congrats are definitely in order for Jenelle and Nathan–and big brother Jace, too. Now there’s more excitement to be shared on Teen Mom 2. Will you be tuning in?

  • Leah Remini to Share Scientology Struggles on Reality TV

Leah Remini is headed to reality TV this summer and the new show will likely find her sharing some of her struggles in defecting from the Church of Scientology. Friends who supported the family during that trying time will be the guests of honor at a party thrown by the former King of Queens actress and her husband during the show’s first two episodes. She has been a very outspoken critic of the organization since her defection.

Remini left Scientology back in June of 2013 after being part of the organization for more than 30 years. Following her defection she told the press that “everything the church taught me was a lie.” The actress filed a missing persons report with the L.A. Police Department for Shelly Miscavige, the wife of Scientology leader David Miscavige. When she asked Miscavige about his wife’s whereabouts she was pretty much told to mind her own business. The woman hasn’t been seen publicly in several years. The case was closed, however, leaving some to wonder if the wealth within the organization pads the palms of certain people within the L.A.P.D.

Fortunately Leah Remini’s new reality show will be a comedy, so it won’t solely deal with Scientology’s misgivings. In fact at one point Leah and her sister will hold a mock funeral for their still-living mother who worries how she’ll be remembered once she’s gone. It seems her mother is very much enjoying her time as a reality TV star.

“My mother thinks she’s a star anyway. She thinks she’s pretty genius and from this, she keeps saying things like, ‘I think I’m gonna get my own sitcom deal,’ she thinks she’s that hysterical,” Remini said. “My daughter, she doesn’t love it. She’s in negotiations right now with TLC. She’s considering continuing if she gets a Chanel purse. She has a whole list of things … so I hope that works out.”

“I’m so happy to be opening my home to TLC and to be sharing my family with you. We are blessed to be given this opportunity to work together as a family,” Leah Remini said recently in a statement. “However, beware – in these last 13 weeks of working on the show, my mother and stepfather already feel they are the true talent and breakouts of the show and expect to be offered sitcoms.”

It will be fun to see Remini back on TV. Leah Remini: It’s All Relative will premiere on TLC on July 10th at 10:00 P.M. Will you be tuning in?

  • LeAnn Rimes, Eddie Cibrian: New Reality Show Brings More Trash to TV

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian will soon have their own reality TV show, and just from viewing the first trailer released it’s abundantly clear that all they’re providing viewers with is more trash. In the trailer they’re already bashing Cibrian’s ex-wife Brandi Glanville and admitting that when they fell in love they were both married to other people. This will definitely be a show rooted in strong morals–something they should be proud one day for their children to see.

“We were both married to other people…now who we really are is a couple and in love,” Cibrian says in the trailer. Rimes goes on to say they’re just “trying to figure out how to navigate this family … that’s highly publicized.”

Part of why it’s so ‘highly publicized’ is because when these two–the stars of LeAnn & Eddie–began their illicit romance, she was married to Dean Sheremet and he was married to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star. That does not a non-publicized romance make.

The fact that children are involved in this sordid mix that will soon play out on TV adds a trash factor that simply shouldn’t be allowed. Eddie Cibrian’s sons Mason and Jake are 11 and 7, respectively. Then, of course, there’s the notion of LeAnn Rimes bearing children of her own, with Eddie Cibrian, of course.

“Eddie and I have talked about having kids and waiting for the right time. I’m 31 and my mom had fertility issues,” Rimes admits, adding, “I know Eddie isn’t quite ready but this could be my only opportunity to have a child.”

LeAnn Rimes, of course, came on to the music scene as a young teenager with a powerful voice. She delighted fans with songs like ‘How Can I Live.’ Those who don’t subscribe to the notion of reality shows must look at her today and wonder what on earth happened.

Trash mongers can rest assured they haven’t missed a single moment of LeAnn & Eddie. The show doesn’t premiere until July 17th on VH1. Fortunately it doesn’t air until 10:30 PM, meaning young, impressionable minds–including Eddie Cibrian’s children–will hopefully be safely tucked away in their beds.

The release of this initial trailer for LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian’s upcoming reality TV show begs one question and one question only. Why?

  • Leah Remini On Life After Scientology

Leah Remini On Life After Scientology

Leah Remini left the church of Scientology, of which she was a member for 30 years, nearly a year ago.

Now, the former King of Queens star is working on a reality show, The Leah Remini Project, with her family, who she says has become closer than ever since she left the church.

“We’re learning new ways to reconnect with each other, so it really has brought us closer together,” Leah told Ellen DeGeneres, during a recent appearance on Ellen’s talk show. “We’re stronger and we’re having so much fun together and this is something that the family loves to do.”

Last year, Leah explained that the TLC reality show would be a great way to inspire others and entertain at the same time. Her agent told her that her life with her husband Angelo and her nine-year-old daughter Sofia would be compelling to many viewers. “People tell us, ‘You guys are funny.’ Other people find us entertaining, so we thought, ‘Let’s do it,’ ” Remini said.

They also decided to get other members of Leah’s family to take part including her mother and father. “Angelo’s on it, my stepfather, my little sister, my nanny, my housekeeper, everybody [is involved],” Leah said. “It’s crazy. My family is not so different from the rest of America,” she added. “I think people love to see that, oh, just because she’s on television and in Hollywood, I can still relate to her.”

Remini explained that she didn’t want to have a show that was simply full of drama. She realizes that stuff comes up in every family, but she wants the show to be a true look inside her family life. “I don’t want to be doing a show that’s negative, that’s filled with drama,” she said.

“Things do come up in our lives. We are going through a transition, and we are leaning on each other. I hope people see growth from us, and I hope it inspires them to be who they are to each other and strengthen their relationships. I’m hoping that’s what people are going to take away from it. And if they laugh, even better.”

  • Leah Remini on Leaving Scientology: Family is ‘Closer’

Leah Remini spoke with Ellen DeGeneres this week about how leaving the controversial Church of Scientology was a good thing and has even made her family closer. The King of Queens actress is now hard at work on a not-yet-named reality show for TLC, and she says that has been a lot of fun for her family, too.

Remini left Scientology in July of 2013 following a serious fall out with the organization’s leader David Miscavige. Her leaving was rather controversial and some celebrities, including noted Scientologist Kirstie Alley, came to the organization’s defense following Leah’s defection.

These days Leah Remini is concentrating on her family and her work and says both the defection and the new TV project has made life pretty darn good. She and her family are “learning new ways to … reconnect with each other.”

“So, it really has brought us closer together … we’re stronger and we’re having so much fun together,” she told Ellen.

Fans will are definitely excited about seeing Leah Remini back on TV.

Remini went on to say that her new reality series can be a bit overwhelming at times, but that it is something “her family loves to do.”

“Like, I don’t need 25 people in my house everyday,” she joked.

She also mentioned that her stepfather and mother love the reality format.

“And I think that’s a beautiful thing,” she said.

Separating from a controversial organization like Scientology no doubt put an incredible amount of stress on Leah Remini, as well as on her family. She left following a conversation with David Miscavige, the organization’s leader, during which she asked where his wife–and her friend–was and she didn’t believe his answer. Shelly Miscavige hasn’t been seen in public (other than by documented sightings by members of the Church of Scientology) since 2007. Remini filed a missing persons report that was shortly thereafter closed.

“The LAPD has classified the report as unfounded, indicating that Shelly is not missing,” a closed report reads.

Leah Remini doesn’t believe the report and fears for her friend’s well being.

After enduring this kind of angst it is good to see Leah Remini smiling. No word has yet been released about when her TV show will air on TLC. King of Queens fans will no doubt very eagerly await word of her television return.
