  • Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg Star in a Reality Show

Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg are bringing their love to the small screen.

Wahlberg and McCarthy tied the knot in August outside of Chicago. 90 guests attended the 20 minute ceremony. McCarthy was escorted down the aisle by her son Evan. Wahlberg shared with Us Weekly that he “won the lottery” by marrying McCarthy. She added that, “We are ready to live happily ever after.”

It looks like their fairytale includes a reality show.

The happy newlyweds now want to share their marriage with the world. Wahlberg and McCarthy recently signed a deal with A&E to produce a reality show about their relationship. Donnie Loves Jenny will be a 10-episode series. The first episode, an hour long special, will document their wedding. The remaining nine episodes will be 30 minutes and highlight the ups and downs since they said I do.

Donnie Loves Jenny premieres early next year. In a statement, Wahlberg and McCarthy had this to say about their upcoming series:

Not only have we found a new home together, we have found the perfect place for our exciting new projects to live with A&E Network. We’re so excited about this deal and look forward to a long and successful relationship creating entertaining and provocative unscripted programming with our partners at A&E. Our feeling is, who better to make our first show for the network about than about us? We love working together and with our crazy schedules, this gives us the chance to both work and play together.

Wahlberg and his family currently star in another reality show on A&E: Wahlburgers. The reality series follows the Wahlberg family as they try to run a restaurant business. McCarthy has guest starred on the series. The Executive Vice President of A&E David McKillop said that he was thrilled to join the couple through their next chapter. He also added, “Viewers have enjoyed following their relationship on the Wahlburgers and we look forward to sharing the next part of their journey.

The Wahlburgers production company 44 Blue Productions, along with D&J Productions, will produce Donnie Loves Jenny.

  • Shannen Doherty’s ‘Heart Breaks’ for Tori Spelling

During a guest spot on the Arsenio Hall Show Thursday, Beverly Hills, 90210 and Charmed actress Shannen Doherty commented on the marital woes of former 90210 co-star Tori Spelling, and responded to former TV-twin Jason Priestley’s newly-released memoir.

Doherty admitted to Hall that she watches Lifetime’s reality series True Tori, and revealed that each episode leaves her shocked. “Wow, it’s just all out there!,” Doherty exclaimed, adding, “She is baring her soul and I think that everybody has their process of what’s cathartic for them in how to deal with something, and this might be hers.”

“My heart does break for her,” said Doherty. “It breaks for anybody that’s in that situation. I mean, that’s pretty awful and I certainly hope everything works out for the best. And in meantime, it’s making for some amazing TV – I just hope that Tori loves herself. She’s a beautiful girl and she needs to ignore the haters.”

Commenting on tidbits related in Priestley’s tell-all book, Hall recalled, “Back in the day, there was always stuff on my card about who you were battling with – They would say you’re battling with Tori, you’re battling with Jason, you’re battling with (Luke Perry)’s pig. Remember, Luke had a pig?”

Doherty responded, “I mean, I only met it once. It didn’t like me, I guess, but I hear it’s writing a memoir! Can’t wait for that!”

Here a stalwart Brandon (Priestley) gives twin sister Brenda (Doherty) a guilt trip over cigarette smoking, in a clip from the original Beverly Hills, 90210:

Doherty’s general take on pal Priestley’s tell-all was “let it be.” The actress, who will appear in Animal Planet’s Blood Lake: Attack of the Killer Lampreys on May 25, added, “It was so long ago,” referring to her time on 90210. “I always say that everyone has their own version of the truth, and memories are very funny things.”

  • Alan Thicke Will Not Air Son’s Separation On Show

Robin Thicke’s father Alan Thick has a new reality series called Unusually Thicke, which will be aired on TVGN.

However, Alan explains that Robin’s dirty laundry will not be shared on the show. He said that Robin may check up on him from time-to-time in short cameos, but that is all.

“You won’t see his drama,” Alan said. “You’ll see a couple of appearances, cameos by Robin checking up on me. Of course, I’m happy to exploit him as much as possible,” he continued with a laugh. “He’s clearly an important part of the family and good enough to participate a little bit.”

Robin and his wife Paula Patton announced their separation back in February. “We will always love each other and be best friends, however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time,” the couple told PEOPLE in a joint statement.

The couple met when they were teenagers and then married in 2005. The welcomed their first, and only, child Julian Fuego in 2010. Alan said that he hopes Robin and Paula will make the decision that is best for both of them and their son. “I hope whatever they decide to do will make them both happy,” Alan said. “That’s the key thing. You want your kids to be happy. They’re strong, smart and talented people and they’ll make great decisions.”

Alan explained that his new show, which premiered last night, is not like most sitcoms. “It’s real people in real situations that are happening in our lives but we’re layering it with a sort of sitcom format,” Alan said. “The dialogue is improvised but we know where we’re headed.”

  • Leah Remini To Star In Reality Series On TLC

Leah Remini is set to become the star of a reality series that will air on TLC, along with her other family members, and the show track their activity as they go about their daily lives.

Although she did not become a huge star after her big show like her co-star Kevin James did, Leah Remini was the wife on the popular sitcom The King Of Queens. The show aired on CBS, and ran from 1998 until 2007.

The show will be presented to audiences from Gurney Productions, the producers behind Duck Dynasty. Remini’s family’s show does not currently have a title, but the network announced that it had picked up 12-episodes of a half-hour docu-series.

Typically, celebrities have not been known to switch to reality television, but Mark Wahlberg and his family have also been seen on the new A&E reality series The Wahlburgers, showing that other people can do it too. Leah Remini is not as big as the Wahlberg’s though, and it is hard to know if people would be interested in a show that will focus on her family.

She is a native of Brooklyn, New York, although the actress is currently living in Los Angeles. She has been married to her husband Angelo for 10 years, and he helps run their family diner. In addition to following their activities as a couple, the show will focus on their 9-year-old daughter Sofia, Remini’s opinionated mother, and eccentric stepfather, and her sister, and brother-in-law.

Remini has been in the news a lot as of recently due to her recent break from Scientology. She was even referred to as a bigot by Kirstie Alley, and admitted that she was a hypocrite.

Nancy Daniels, the general manager of TLC, spoke of Leah Remini’s character, and how she will work well with the network when saying “Leah is a no-nonsense, hard-working, relatable mom, wife, daughter, and sister. Her sharp humor and unfiltered family are a perfect match for the network.”

In addition to her time spent on The King Of Queens, she has appeared briefly on shows such as Dancing With The Stars and The Exes, and was also a co-host of The Talk.

Leah Remini’s upcoming reality series is set to debut this summer. Production will begin next week.
