  • Haylie Duff Shares First Photo of Five-Day-Old Baby Girl

Haylie Duff gave birth to daughter Ryan Ava Erhard Rosenberg just a few short days ago, and on Saturday she shared the first photo of her precious bundle of joy with her followers.

The Real Girls Kitchen host and former 7th Heaven star shared a shot of Ryan’s legs resting on top of her dog, whose name is Chicken.

Haylie Duff believes the two are already fast friends. The pair definitely appeared quite content.

“Chicken’s favorite spot to sit while I feed Ryan. #BFFs,” she captioned the photo.

Haylie Duff and fiance Matt Rosenberg were thrilled to announce Ryan’s birth last Monday.

“We are on cloud nine and so happy she is finally here! Thank you to everyone for all of their love, support & well wishes!” they said in an interview with People magazine.

In addition to sharing her baby’s photo on Saturday, Haylie Duff–sister of Hilary Duff–also admitted that she and Ryan had watched several episodes of her Cooking Channel show together.

Perhaps she has a future chef on her hands?

Maybe one day soon, Haylie Duff and Matt Rosenberg will share a photo that shows off all of little Ryan. While the baby certainly has precious little feet, fans would no doubt love to see her face as well.

  • Haylie Duff Spills Details About Her Romantic Wedding Proposal

    Haylie Duff is getting married!

The 29-year-old actress’ boyfriend, Matt Rosenberg popped the big question sometime in April. Now, Duff is sharing all of the romantic details about the wedding proposal with the world.

On Monday, June 2, she stopped by Access Hollywood Live where she recounted the memorable event with Billy Bush and Kit Hoover.

“I was making dinner and it was just sort like a normal night… I was literally like, my face in the refrigerator, like, ‘What do you want for dinner? Do you want chicken? Do you want this?’ and he wasn’t responding to me,” she said. “I turned around and he was [holding a ring].”

She revealed that she initially assumed the proposal was part of a prank since Rosenberg hadn’t opted to take the traditional route and get down on one knee.

He also happened to propose on April 1, which really led her to believe that he was just joking. However, the man was obviously very serious!

“It happened on April Fool’s Day, so instantly I was sweaty and crying and I thought it was an April Fool’s joke. I was like, ‘This is the meanest April Fool’s joke you could ever possibly do!’” she said. “But I couldn’t have imagined it any sweeter and it was exactly how I would’ve wanted it to happen.”

While wedding planning is one of the priorities on her list, its not the only major obligation she has right now. Her new cooking show Real Girl’s Kitchen is set to premiere this weekend. The show, which will be based in Los Angeles, will follow Duff cooking and enjoying quality time with friends and family.

“When I came up with the title, it was sort of like the thing where I’m not a professionally trained chef – I’m a self-taught cook. I’ve learned by trial and error,” she said, when asked how she came up with the show’s title. “I’m like a real girl in the kitchen and that’s sort of where the name came from.”

Fans can catch Real Girl’s Kitchen on Saturdays at 2:00pm ET on the Cooking Channel.

  • Haylie Duff Reveals The Details About Her Proposal

It’s been two months since Haylie Duff announced her engagement to Matt Rosenberg, and now she is revealing all the details about how Matt popped the question.

Despite being a very special moment, Matt picked one of the worst days of the year to ask someone a sincere question … April Fool’s Day.

“It happened on April Fool’s Day, so instantly I was sweaty and crying and I thought it was an April Fool’s joke. I was like, ‘This is the meanest April Fool’s joke you could ever possibly do!’” Haylie told Access Hollywood Live’s Billy Bush and Kit Hoover. “But I couldn’t have imagined it any sweeter and it was exactly how I would’ve wanted it to happen.”

So, how exactly did it happen? Haylie explained that it was just a night like any other. She was trying to decide what to make for dinner and noticed that Matt was being unusually quiet. When she turned around to see what he was doing, he was holding a ring.

“I was making dinner and it was just sort like a normal night… I was literally like, my face in the refrigerator, like, ‘What do you want for dinner? Do you want chicken? Do you want this?’ and he wasn’t responding to me,” Haylie said. “I turned around and he was [holding a ring].”

Haylie explained that it still sometimes doesn’t feel real that she is actually engaged. “It still shocks me! It’s not even normal,” she told PEOPLE. “I still call him my boyfriend, and he, every once in a while, is like, ‘Babe, I’m your fiancé.’”

Duff hasn’t had a lot of time to start planning her wedding. She has been pretty preoccupied with her new cooking show called Real Girl’s Kitchen that premieres on the Cooking Channel on Saturday, May 7.

“When I came up with the title, it was sort of like the thing where I’m not a professionally trained chef – I’m a self-taught cook. I’ve learned by trial and error,” she explained when she was asked about her show’s unique title. “I’m like a real girl in the kitchen and that’s sort of where the name came from.”
