Jamie Dornan, Dakota Johnson: Heat Rises in the Rain on Set of “Fifty Shades Darker”

Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson were spotted on set where Fifty Shades Darker is filming. The two shared a kiss in the rain that no doubt caused the heat to rise.

E! News reports shooting for the Fifty Shades of Grey sequel is underway in Vancouver. It was earlier this week when Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson shared their steamy kiss.

Anyone who was set during filming on Tuesday observed even more. Once the kiss ended, Dornan and Johnson burst out laughing, which–according to E! News–is befitting the easy friendship the two shared while doing press for the film.

Fans who enjoyed Fifty Shades of Grey are anxiously anticipating the release of Fifty Shades Darker–even if Jamie Dornan, Dakota Johnson, and Fifty Shades of Grey won big at the Razzies.

Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson’s sex scenes in the first film left their devoted fans wanting even more. The third film, Fifty Shades Freed, will begin filming in the coming months, too.

Jamie Dornan portrays Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades films, with Dakota Johnson starring as Anastasia Steele.

Are you a Fifty Shades fans? Will you be checking out Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan when Fifty Shades Darker hits theaters in February 2017?

Jamie Dornan, Dakota Johnson: “Fifty Shades of Grey” Stars Big Winners at Razzies

Jamie Dornan, Dakota Johnson, and their film–Fifty Shades of Grey–were all big winners at the Razzies on Saturday evening.

The Golden Raspberry Awards is a spoof of the Hollywood award season. E! News reports that “more than 900 members from 48 states and 20 foreign countries cast their vote for the films that may not have been so critically acclaimed.”

Fifty Shades of Grey, Jamie Dornan, and Dakota Johnson won big. Johnson took the Razzie for Worst Actress. Jamie Dornan was awarded Worst Actor. Fifty Shades of Grey tied with Fantastic 4 for Worst Picture. It won for Worst Screenplay. Last, but not least, Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson were awarded the Razzie for Worst Screen Combo.

This has to take at least some of the wind out of Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson’s sails, as filming for the movie’s sequel–Fifty Shades Darker–is already underway.

Does it sound like The Razzies was out to get Fifty Shades of Grey in just about every way imaginable? There were other “winners” on Saturday, but none won multiple awards like Fifty Shades and its actors.

Fifty Shades Darker is set for release on February 10, 2017–just in time for another hot and steamy Valentine’s Day. That likely means Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson can expect more Razzies in the next couple of years.

Were you a fan of Fifty Shades, as well as Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson in the red room? Are you among those not quite understanding why the film and its actors were awarded so many Razzies?

There may be a support group somewhere for that.

  • Megan Fox Wins Razzie For Worst Supporting Actress

Megan Fox has a lot of great things going on in her life right now!

The actress is married to Brian Austin Green, and they have two little boys to love on, Noah and Bodhi.

Megan Fox also has her ageless appearance going for her.

However, Megan Fox just doesn’t have the whole acting thing down.

That became glaringly validated at this year’s Razzies.

Megan Fox won (or lost) the title of worst supporting actress for her performance in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Megan Fox’s bad acting has almost become cliche. She really is just eye candy, right?

However, Megan Fox can walk away with her razzie, and be glad that she isn’t Kirk Cameron.

That guy couldn’t catch a break with all the razzies flying at him.

Kirk Cameron’s movie, Kirk Cameron’s Saving Christmas, won the honor of Worst Picture.

    But, it didn’t end there.

Kirk Cameron took a razzie for worst actor, and also for worst screen combo, which was listed as Kirk Cameron and his ego.

That had to hurt Kirk Cameron, and his ego, a little.

Cameron’s movie even won worst screenplay.

So, perhaps Megan Fox shouldn’t feel too bad about herself.

I will give you roots and I will give you wings.

  • Cameron Diaz Cleans House At This Year’s Razzies

Cameron Diaz has had a great year, personally.

The actress got married after living the single life for years, for goodness sake, and Cameron Diaz seems to be enjoying her new life with Benji Madden.

However, professionally, life for Cameron Diaz wasn’t that great.

Cameron Diaz won the title of worst actress at Saturday night’s Razzie Awards. She beat out Drew Barrymore for Blended, Melissa McCarthy for Tammy, Charlize Theron for A Million Ways to Die in the West, and Gaia Weiss for Hercules.

This “honor” was bestowed upon Cameron Diaz for her work in The Other Woman and Sex Tape.

The only movie that Cameron Diaz was in this year that seemed promising was Annie, but that too was shamed.

I want you to meet someone. Her name is Ms. Hannigan. She ain't nice and she ain't pretty. #Annie

A photo posted by Cameron Diaz (@camerondiaz) on

Annie received the worst remake of the year award.

Cameron Diaz was on a roll, but it was so close to being even worse.

Cameron Diaz was on the list for worst supporting actress for Annie as well, but that went to Megan Fox for her role in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Cameron Diaz wasn’t the night’s biggest winner (loser?), however.

Kirk Cameron got absolutely slammed at the Razzies.

His movie, Kirk Cameron’s Saving Christmas, earned the worst picture award.

Kirk Cameron, himself, picked up the title of worst actor. His movie was also hit with worst screenplay and worst onscreen duo, listed as Kirk Cameron and his ego.

Kirk Cameron’s Saving Christmas director Darren Doane was on the shortlist for worst director, but was saved by Michael Bay’s work on Transformers 4: Age of Extinction.

What do you think of Cameron Diaz and the other winners of Saturday night’s Razzies?

  • Kirk Cameron, Cameron Diaz, Megan Fox Top Razzie Winners’ List

Kirk Cameron, Cameron Diaz, Megan Fox Top Razzie Winners’ List

Kirk Cameron and Cameron Diaz were the big “winners” at this year’s Razzie Awards, taking the Worst Actor/Actress awards.

Kirk Cameron’s Saving Christmas won a whole slew of Razzies, including Worst Picture, Worst Screenplay and Worst Actor for the film. “Kirk Cameron and his ego” also won Worst Screen Combo.

Cameron Diaz was a double winner, named Worst Actress for her roles in The Other Woman and Sex Tape, while Michael Bay won Worst Director for Transformers: Age of Extinction.

Megan Fox won Worst Supporting Actress for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Kelsey Grammar won Worst Supporting Actor for performances in Expendables 3, Legend of Oz, Think Like a Man Too and Transformers: Age of Extinction.

Other winners included Annie for Worst Remake, Rip-off or Sequel, and Ben Affleck won the very first “Razzie Redeemer Award,” for a past Razzie nominee or winner who has turned their career around.

The Razzies are held every year on the day before the Academy Awards ceremony.

  • Kim Kardashian Wins a 2014 Razzie Award

Lupita Nyong’o won an Academy Award last night for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her heartbreaking performance as a slave in the Oscar winning film 12 Years a Slave. The exact counter part for that award, Worst Actress in a Supporting Role, was “won” by Kim Kardashian for her performance in Tyler Perry’s movie Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor.

Yes, it was the 34th Golden Raspberry Awards, commonly called The Razzies, an award which recognizes the worst performances and movies of the year. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians reality television superstar was called “vapid” and “awful” for her acting role in Perry’s film.

Critics were especially hard on Ms. Kardashian’s performance in Temptation:

“Kim Kardashian, as nasal and awful an actress as you might imagine,” The Wrap‘s Alonso Duralde complains.

“…And Kim Kardashian, as the protagonist’s b***hy fashionista coworker, vainly trying to act,” Nick Shager of Time Out says.

“Her coworker Ava is played by Kim Kardashian, a true feat of stunt casting that’s only made all the more impressive by her inability to inject the slightest bit of emotion into her steady stream of insults,” Jenni Miller of Hollywood.com says.

Director Tyler Perry disagreed with the critics. “I wrote this role, Ava, which is perfect for her – a small role that she delivered, she completely, 100% delivered, and she’s hysterical. She takes every beat and every moment, and I was proud of the work she did in the movie.”

Even still, Temptation a film about infidelity, which earned a horrible 15% on Rottentomatoes infamous TOMATOMETER, was not voted by the Razzie panel of judges as the worst film of the year. That indistinct honor went to Movie 43, a Peter Farrelly sendup, which received a horrific 4% on the TOMATOMETER despite featuring an ensemble cast of A-List talent like Kate Winslet, Hugh Jackman, and Naomi Watts.

What do you think? Was Kim Kardashian the worst actress you saw in a film last year?

  • Razzie Awards Led by ‘Grown Ups 2’

Razzie Awards Led by ‘Grown Ups 2’

The Razzie Awards were very generous to one particular film that graced the big screen in 2013. Grown Ups 2 leads the pack for the most number of Razzie nominations. The film received a total of eight nominations at the mock awards show on Wednesday, two of which were for worst picture and worst actor. Will Smith’s film After Earth was a close second to Grown Ups 2, receiving six nominations, as was Tyler Perry’s A Madea Christmas, which also received six. Rounding out the four films vying for the Razzie Award is Movie 43. Has anyone even heard of that one? Surely someone has since it starred Halle Berry. Oh, and she received a Razzie nomination for Worst Actress–and a second one, too, for The Call.

Of course the Razzies aren’t voted on by fans, but rather an exclusive group of Hollywood naysayers who love to point out film flops. The Razzie winners are chosen by 750 members of the Golden Raspberry Foundation as well as votes from 62,000 users of the film review website, RottenTomatoes.com.

Despite the number of Razzies it received, Grown Ups 2 was still recognized during the Peoples Choice Awards when Adam Sandler received the award for Favorite Comedic Actor.

Yes, the Peoples Choice winner, Adam Sandler, also leads the Razzies pack for Worst Actor, along with Ashton Kutcher for his role in Jobs. Poor Sylvester Stallone–he received three nominations for Worst Actor for his roles in Grudge Match, Escape Plan and Bullet to the Head.

To add insult to injury, The Razzies hand out these awards on the eve of the Oscars. Stay tuned for the March 1st announcement to see which films and which actors “win.”

  • Razzie Awards: Who Sucked Big Time Last Year?

Award season is in full swing, and I don’t just mean accolades. It’s time for the worst of the worst to receive their “honors” as well.

The Golden Raspberry Awards is meant to single out the worst movies, directors, actors, and so forth, who have failed to meet even the most bare minimum of moviegoer expectations. This year marks the 34th Razzies and the nominations were promising, for lack of a better term.

Affectionately known as the Razzies, the distinctions given are totally tongue in cheek. No malice is meant in poking fun at the “glut of self-congratulatory awards” that Hollywood gives itself each year. Still, plenty of fun can be had kicking people while they’re down. After all, who really wants to be reminded of just how terrible their movie-related endeavors were?

Adam Sandler’s “Grown-Ups 2” leads the way with an embarrassing eight nominations, including worst picture and worst actor. Given the lackluster nature of the first movie, it’s not exactly surprising that the sequel was terrible. Apparently Sandler is either too rich or too bored to be truly funny anymore. I prefer this explanation to the one where he was never funny and an entire generation simply outgrew his humor. That would be too depressing. In any case, odds are he and his latest visual car-crash will be walking away with at least one award.

Proving that nepotism doesn’t always deliver the desired outcome, “After Earth” is another heavy contender for multiple Razzie awards. The Will Smith movie was meant to shine a light on his son, Jaden’s, aspiring acting career and their father/son bond. The problem is that we already had that movie: It was called “The Pursuit of Happyness” and it was actually pretty good. This movie? Not so much. Proof positive that sometimes it’s best to quit while you’re ahead.

Other promising nominees include repeat-offender Tyler Perry, whose “Madea’s Christmas” and “Temptation” both received nods, and newcomer Lady Gaga. “Machete Kills” was probably never meant to be taken seriously, but unfortunately for Gaga’s, her acting chops are questionable even in movies that are bad on purpose. Yikes.

Who will limp away with a Razzie all their own? You’ll just have to wait until March 1st to find out. In the meantime, check out the official site for a full list of nominees.

  • Razzie Nominations: Adam Sandler Strikes Again

The 2014 Razzies nominations were announced on Tuesday, and once again, an Adam Sandler film leads the pack. Some moviegoers may be surprised to see that Johnny Depp made the cut for the first time ever (we know that pretty much no one thought The Lone Ranger was good, but still…Johnny Depp?). Other actors receiving Razzie nominations include Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan. Some people probably didn’t realize that those two are still making movies, but it may help to know that their roles come along with “Worst Actor” designations.

Sandler’s Grown Ups 2 received eight Golden Raspberry Award nominations. As staggering as this number may be, it’s nothing compared to his Jack & Jill film from 2011. That movie was bad enough to sweep the Razzies in 2012, which is the first time any film has “won” every Razzie category.

Check out the full list of 2014 Razzie Awards nominations below. Was there an actor or film that you’re surprised didn’t make the cut? Add your comments below.

  • Razzies Include Some Not-So-Surprising Nominations

2013 was a year full of bad movies, at least according to the nomination list for the Razzies, awards given to the worst picture and actors annually.

The list for this year’s awards includes some unsurprising titles, including “The Lone Ranger” and “Grown Ups 2”. While there were high hopes for the former–which starred Johnny Depp as Tonto and Armie Hammer as the hero–the film was a box office flop and got some pretty scathing reviews. As for “Grown Ups 2”, the film was heavily panned by critics even though the first one actually did pretty well at the box office. Star Adam Sandler was named the number one overpaid actor of 2013 after Forbes Magazine said that for every dollar Sandler made, he pulled in just $3.40 at the box office.

There are a couple of names on the list that you might not see coming, however, including Naomi Watts for “Diana”. Check out the full list of noms below.

  • “Jack and Jill” Awarded Every Single Razzie

“Jack and Jill” Awarded Every Single Razzie

Considering the sheer number of nominations “Jack and Jill” and “Bucky Larson: Born to be a Star” received for 2011’s Razzie Awards, it was already clear that Adam Sandler’s Happy Madison Productions last year released some of the worst cinema ever to grace movie screens. But to be awarded every single one of the internet’s famously insulting awards? That’s more than an off year.

The Razzies, the yearly awarders of the “Golden Raspberry” to the worst movies and actors of the year, awarded 10 out of 10 awards to “Jack and Jill’s” actors, directors, and writers. Adam Sandler himself was awarded the Worst Actor and Worst Actress Razzies for his portrayal as both Jack and Jill, a role for which he wore a fat suit and women’s clothing.

Sandler’s co-star Al Pacino was awarded the Worst Supporting Actor Razzie. Katie Holmes, who played Sandler’s (Jack’s) wife in the movie, managed to fly under the Razzies’ radar, and David Spade was awarded the Worst Supporting Actress Razzie for his portrayal of “Monica” in the movie.

The Razzies hated “Jack and Jill” so much they even went out of their way to give the movie the Worst Remake award. Using some tortured logic, they portrayed the movie as a remake of the Ed Wood movie “Glen or Glenda”.

Here’s a rundown of the 10 awards and their specific recipients:

    Worst Picture: “Jack and Jill”
Worst Actor: Adam Sandler for “Jack”
Worst Actress: Adam Sandler for “Jill”
Worst Supporting Actor: Al Pacino as himself
Worst Supporting Actress: David Spade as “Monica”
Worst Screen Ensemble: The entire cast of “Jack and Jill”
Worst Director: Dennis Dugan for “Jack and Jill” and “Just Go With It”
Worst Remake, Rip-Off or Sequel: “Jack and Jill”
Worst Screen Couple: Adam Sandler and either Katie Holmes, Al Pacino, or Adam Sandler
    Worst Screenplay: “Jack and Jill”

In case you’ve forgotten the horror that was the trailer for “Jack and Jill” or (God forbid) you saw the movie, here’s a little reminder, complete with George C. Scott’s reaction:

  • Razzies: Adam Sandler Sets Record, Twitter Reacts

Adam Sandler has made cinematic history with his film Jack and Jill. He has set the record for most “Razzie” nominations in one year by one person.

    The Razzies’ site says:

With three critically-panned movies released by his Happy Madison Productions, 2011 was A Berry Bad Year for Adam Sandler, who now totally dominates the list of contenders for The 32nd Annual RAZZIE® Awards. Sandler has more than doubled Eddie Murphy’s old record for the most nominations accrued by an individual in a single year. As an actor, writer and/or producer on JACK & JILL, BUCKY LARSON and JUST GO WITH IT, the former SNL star has amassed a whopping 11 RAZZIE® nods, dis-honoring last year’s Worst Achievements in Film.

Leading the pack for Worst Picture is Sandler’s cross-dressing comedy JACK & JILL, which received 12 nods in all (becoming only the 4th film in the Tacky Trophy’s history ever to get more dings than the awards have categories). Besides having the inside track to “win” the top award, JILL is also contending for Sandler as Worst Actor (as male twin Jack) Katie Holmes as Worst Supporting Actress (playing Jack’s wife) and former Oscar® regular Al Pacino, nabbing his third RAZZIE® nod for playing “himself” as being madly in love with Sandler’s female twin. Sandler is also nominated for Worst Actress for playing the role of Jill and, should he “win,” and choose to follow in the footsteps of previous “winners” Halle Berry (CATWOMAN) and Sandra Bullock (ALL ABOUT STEVE) Sandler could potentially become the first “winner” who literally has the balls to accept a Worst Actress RAZZIE®.

Jack and Jill’s average IMDB rating is 3.2/10. Here’s the trailer for the film:
