    Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have long been the subject of divorce rumors, but the married couple of seven years looked very much in love as they shared a bit of PDA in New York City on Thursday.

    The couple held hands–and even dressed quite similarly–in celebration of Ellen DeGeneres’s new clothing line, ED. Now prominently featured at Bergdorf Goodman, Ellen and Portia wore pieces from the line to laud yet another of Ellen’s successes. Kanye West and Kim Kardashian showed up for the launch, lending their support to Ellen DeGeneres.

    The talk show host wore a tuxedo-type ensemble, featuring a crisp white button down shirt with slim black pants and a fitted jacket. Portia de Rossi wore a similar style in her pants and jacket. She paired hers with a ruffled blouse and sexy high heels.

    Earlier in the day, Ellen DeGeneres and the Scandal actress were spotted hand-in-hand, strolling through NYC. While not dressed in haute couture, the couple was still dressed alike. Ellen DeGeneres wore a blue plaid button-down shirt, with Portia de Rossi wearing a similar one in red.

    It’s wonderful to see Ellen and Portia together and happy. Rumors of a rocky marriage plagued the couple for months. On Thursday, however, they appeared comfortable and very much in love.

    “We’re kind of flattered [by the breakup rumors], because for a while no one cared about us, and we thought ‘Oh, lesbians aren’t worthy of tabloid stories!’” Ellen DeGeneres joked while she was a guest on Howard Stern’s SiriusXM radio show this past week. “We’re kind of flattered that they even care about us.”

    Congratulations to Ellen DeGeneres on the launch of her new Bergdorf Goodman clothing line–and on taking all those rumors about a rocky relationship in stride.

Anyone who is committed to another human being can attest to the fact that selfishness has no place in any kind of relationship. Ellen DeGeneres is probably one of the least selfish celebrities around.

    In addition to the aforementioned rules Ellen adheres to, she also believes in having no rules in life, not being afraid of change, and finding what you are passionate about and following it. She added that when she realized her passion was to make people happy and to make them laugh, she became extremely driven.

  • Portia de Rossi, Ellen DeGeneres Join Elton John Boycott of Dolce & Gabbana

    Portia de Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres have joined Elton John in his recent boycott of Dolce & Gabbana. Dolce & Gabbana founders Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana called children conceived via artificial insemination ‘synthetic’ babies, and have been the subject of much outrage ever since.

    DeGeneres called the remark ‘ignorant.’

    Both she and Portia de Rossi spoke with E! News at the 2015 GLAAD Media Awards in Beverly Hills, California on Saturday.

    “It’s not even worth commenting on because they’re, you know, ignorant,” Ellen DeGeneres said, noting that neither she nor Portia de Rossi will never wear Dolce & Gabbana clothes “ever, ever again.”

    Dolce & Gabbana’s comment resulted in Elton John calling for an immediate boycott of the luxury fashion label. He and husband David Furnish are the parents of two little boys. Several celebrities have followed Elton John’s lead, with Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi among them.

    “The only thing you can say is that, you know, we’re all entitled to free speech,” Portia de Rossi told E! News. “However, I just don’t understand who they are. I don’t understand why they would want to say that.”

    Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have been married for 10 years, and despite a tabloid report from 2014 that said they were trying to start a family, the couple has no children.

    What’s your take on the comment made by Dolce & Gabbana? It’s important to note that they did attempt to clarify their remark, saying they never meant to judge anyone’s choice. Sometimes such a clarification is too little, too late, however.

This time the talk show host and wife of Portia de Rossi was surrounded by three handsome men from the music world instead.

    Portia de Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres shared some lovely selfies with their fans just ahead of Ellen’s 57th birthday. Despite the talk show host’s dry humor and hilarious antics, these photos depicted the softer, sweeter side to this married couple.

    Ellen and Portia appeared in the shots, sans any makeup or special wardrobe, locked in an embrace on a beach at sunset.

    “My last sunset of 56 with my favorite person,” DeGeneres captioned one of the shots.

    Portia de Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres–who have been together since 2004 and married since August of 2008–appear both relaxed and very much in love in their sunset scene.

    Portia was noticeably absent when Ellen DeGeneres celebrated her birthday on her show, however. Instead, the host celebrated with Joe Biden and Keith Urban, who sang her a very special song.

    Ellen DeGeneres was her usual upbeat, hilarious self while celebrating her birthday on her show–she even gave away two Mercedes cars–but nothing says happiness like the look on her face in the selfies taken with Portia de Rossi. Despite recent rumors that things aren’t going well for the couple, there appeared to be a sense of love and peace in those shots.

The photos show Portia and Ellen without any make-up, embracing on a beach with a beautiful sunset in the background. Ellen captioned the photo, “My last sunset of 56 with my favorite person.” Portia de Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres have been together since 2004, and they got married on August 16, 2008 after the same sex marriage ban was lifted.

    Ellen celebrated her birthday by interviewing Joe Biden on her TV show. She was also serenaded with a special performance from country singer, Keith Urban. The talk show host also gave away two brand-new Mercedes Benz vehicles to a couple of surprised fans in the audience. Ellen tweeted, “I’m celebrating all week long.     In a recent interview, Ellen discussed her relationship with Portia de Rossi and how they have similar tastes in art and their decorating styles. “She’s a little more Deco. She loves Jean Royère and I do, too, but some of the pieces are little too Deco for me,” Ellen said in the interview. “I like clean lines instead. For the most part, we have exactly the same taste in art and furniture. It’s really great because it’s so important to me. It would be horrible to live with someone who didn’t like the same things you like.”

    While Ellen’s been keeping busy with her talk show, Portia de Rossi has kept a relatively low profile after her stint in the TV show Arrested Development. However, she will next be seen in the upcoming comedy Now Add Honey alongside Lucy Fry.

    Portia de Rossi recently dished about the return of ABC’s Scandal, calling the new season both ‘exciting‘ and ‘amazing.’ She teased about the show’s return from midseason break while she and wife Ellen DeGeneres walked the red carpet at the People’s Choice Awards last Wednesday.

    “What I’m reading now, and what we’re doing that will air at the end of the month, it’s kind of amazing,” de Rossi shared.

    “[It’s] very exciting,” she added while speaking to ET.

    The former Ally McBeal star still wouldn’t spill the beans, however. There were absolutely no spoilers leaked from her lips to ET’s mic. Portia de Rossi plays the role of Elizabeth North, whose conniving schemes are beginning to come unraveled. It’s the kind of role that de Rossi has said she’s wanted since Scandal first began.

    Even Ellen DeGeneres wouldn’t spill any of the Scandal beans.

    “She comes home and starts talking about her day, like anybody who wants to share their day… but I don’t want to know her day! Because I’m a fan, and I want to see it like everybody else,” DeGeneres said.

    “So I know things that are happening that are cray-cray,” Ellen added.

  • Ellen DeGeneres Puts ‘Gay Agenda’ Writer In His Place — ‘I’m Not Here to Brainwash Anyone’

    Ellen DeGeneres took a moment during her monologue on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Wednesday to respond to a recent column that bashed the talk show host’s apparent “agenda” to brainwash the world.

    DeGeneres spoke for many when she addressed a column published by the Christian Post, accusing Hollywood of pushing a gay agenda. In the article titled, “Are You Aware of the Avalanche of Gay Programming Assaulting Your Home?” pastor and author Larry Tomczak wrote that DeGeneres “celebrates her lesbianism and ‘marriage’ in between appearances of guests like Taylor Swift to attract young girls.”

    DeGeneres, who married Scandal actress Portia de Rossi in 2008, used her trademark humor to offset the biting comments by Tomczak.

    “First of all, let’s just break this down, I’m not ‘married,’ (as she made the quote marks hand gesture), I’m married. That’s all,” said DeGeneres.

    “And Larry, I don’t even know what it means to celebrate my lesbianism. I mean, I guess I do – it’s like that,” she said as she pulled out party popper from her blazer and sett it off. “I’m gay!”

    DeGeneres then offered some encouragement to the youth of the world in typical Ellen-fashion.

    “The only way I’m trying to influence people is to be more kind and compassionate with one another. That is the message I’m sending out. I don’t have an agenda. I’m not here to brainwash anyone. But…”

    Her stage manager then handed her a spinning vortex and she held it up to the camera, saying in a hypnotizying voice, “Listen to the sound of my voice. Attention youth of the world: I want you to live your lives being exactly who you are. Be true to yourself — the most important thing is to be true to yourself. The second most important thing is that you wear Ellen underwear and only Ellen underwear.”

    Ellen DeGeneres was slammed in a recent op-ed in The Christian Post for her ‘gay agenda,’ and she lashed back at the pastor who wrote the piece–along with the publication that published it–with love.

    DeGeneres took aim at Tennessee Pastor Larry Tomczak on her talk show this week.

    “I don’t usually read anything about myself. I don’t look at the tabloids or the internet unless it’s about me being pregnant, then how else would I know…but I heard there was an article written about me and I’d like to address it right now,” she began.

    “It’s a pastor who wrote an article for The Christian Post where he accuses Hollywood of having a gay agenda and said that ‘Ellen DeGeneres celebrates her lesbianism and ‘marriage’ in between appearances of guests like Taylor Swift to attract young girls,” Ellen continued.

    She then addressed the pastor directly–with humor, of course.

    “Larry, I don’t even know what it means to celebrate my lesbianism, I mean, I guess I do, it’s like that,” she said as she pulled a party popper from her pocket, releasing it and pronouncing, “Larry is watching a lot of gay TV.”

    Ellen DeGeneres was serious, however, as she continued, explaining that she has no agenda.

    “The only way I’m trying to influence people is to be more kind and compassionate with one another,” she said. “That is the message I’m sending out.”

    That, as anyone who has ever watched Ellen DeGeneres’s talk show, knows full well is the only message–or agenda–she has ever had.

    “I don’t have an agenda. I’m not here to brainwash anyone,” she reiterated. But then she then held up a spinning vortex, and started trying to ‘brainwash’ her audience.

    “Attention youth of the world: I want you to live your lives being exactly who you are,” DeGeneres said. “Be true to yourself–the most important thing is to be true to yourself. The second most important thing is that you wear Ellen underwear and only Ellen underwear.”

  • Portia de Rossi Gets Ellen Back For Filming Her Workout

    Portia de Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres seem like they’re always having fun together, so it’s no surprise that Ellen–who is known on her talk show for her cheeky sense of humor–decided to have a laugh at her wife’s expense recently during a workout.

    When Portia popped on a Jane Fonda workout and began moving along to it, Ellen filmed it and posted it to Twitter, sharing it with her 37 million followers. What Ellen wasn’t counting on, however, was retaliation, and when Portia filmed her singing loudly along to Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk” while running on the treadmill, she shared it on her own Twitter account as revenge.

    Ellen initiated the old-school workout viewing because she wanted to be more knowledgeable about them for their re-release on DVD this week, and she says she took out her phone as soon as she saw Portia take an interest in them.

    “I’m sitting there, and it’s Saturday afternoon, and Portia’s sitting doing a jigsaw puzzle, and I said, ‘I’m going to pop [the Jane Fonda workout video] in. I want to see this because I want to be able to talk about it.’ So she got up from the jigsaw puzzle she was doing, and I took the phone out, and started recording her,” DeGeneres said.

    The couple endured several rounds of rumors last year regarding their relationship after word began spreading on the web that Portia resented Ellen’s close friendship with actress Sofia Vergara. Talk of divorce was even brought up, but the couple denied that anything was wrong and continued to share photos and social media updates showing them having fun together.

    Portia de Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres celebrated their 10-year anniversary on Monday and took an adorable selfie to mark the occasion over the weekend.

    The Scandal actress posted two pics on Twitter, showing the pair looking like anything but the reported couple in trouble.

    Hopefully, this will help dispel all the negative rumors that have surrounded the couple of late.

    On Saturday, de Rossi posted a picture of herself and DeGenere looking fresh, makeup free and happy as clams on the beach.

    Friends and family members of Ellen and Portia are likely hoping that’s the actual holiday card they receive, and knowing Ellen DeGeneres and her quick wit, there might just be a handful of recipients destined for hearty laughter this holiday season.

    “Portia and I started working on our holiday cards…we don’t know what we’re gonna do yet,” Ellen DeGeneres said, before revealing the card showing her and de Rossi’s heads edited onto Kardashian’s oiled-up body, with red bows covering their bare hind quarters. “It says ‘Happy Holidays’ and then ‘And a Shiny New Year.’ A shiny new rear.”

    Last year Ellen DeGeneres channeled Kim Kardashian’s hubby, Kanye West, for their holiday card. They used his ‘Bound 2’ music video for inspiration, ‘complete with a motorcycle and a loving embrace.’

    So maybe someone will receive the Ellen and Portia shiny butt holiday cards after all. It’s great to see Ellen and Portia together. Problems earlier in the year had some speculating that their marriage might not survive. It’s uncertain how much was hype and how much was fact, but it’s good to see both of them on this hilarious holiday card.

    Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have unveiled come potential picks for Christmas cards that they want to mail out. “This is the time of year where you have to order your holiday cards,” DeGeneres said on Monday’s episode of her show. “As you know, Portia and I started working on our holiday cards…”

    Last week Ellen had unveiled an initial card draft, which poked fun at the couple’s tabloid presence, particularly the rumor of them having kids.

    The card read “Silent Night” on the outside, and when opened, showed Ellen and Portia sipping wine, with the caption, “… because we don’t have any kids.”

    But this week, Ellen went for broke.

    The picture was inspired by, and obviously Photoshopped from, Kim Kardashian’s now-ubiquitous bare-butt photo featured in Paper Magazine. The photo was part of a set that set out to “break the Internet.”

    DeGeneres’s holiday cards are part of a program that donates money to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the Humane Society. Her take on the Kim K pic joins several other spoofs going around on the Interwebs.

    Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi seem to have a great relationship, but recent rumors suggest that all is not what it seems with the couple and that there could be trouble in paradise. A few months ago it was rumored that Ellen had cheated on Portia and that the couple was headed for a divorce.

    Ellen and Portia said that their marriage was fine and a short time after the rumors surfaced, they celebrated an anniversary and shared photos of themselves looking happy.

    New rumors claim that things are still not going well for the couple and although they continue to insist that things are fine, a source for Radar Online says that Portia does not trust Ellen and wants to keep a close eye on her at all times.

    “It is kind of creepy,” the source said. “Portia never used to come to see her at work.”

    Ellen and Portia are still pretending like things are fine though and Ellen even made up an excuse about why Portia has been visiting so often.

    “Ellen tells us that it helps having her there because she ‘at least she doesn’t have to worry about her being home alone,’” the source added. “I have to admit, however, it seems like Portia is being slightly controlling by her unplanned visits.”

    Portia has had trust and control issues in the past and it appears that she is not at all happy in the relationship, in spite of the front the two women seem to be putting on.

    In July it was rumored by In Touch that Portia video taped a fight between herself and Ellen and then threatened to share it to show the world how Ellen really acts behind closed doors. The tape was never released and it is not known if it really even exists.

    Still, it seems like there is something going on between Portia and Ellen and if they don’t deal with it soon, their marriage could be in trouble.

    First, everyone seemed sure that Portia and Ellen were bound for divorce. Then everyone was sure they were having a baby. Then came the day Portia appeared on Ellen’s show and discussed those rumors.

    “They want us to have a baby. Did you see it says, ‘They’re finally starting a family,” de Rossi said, pointing to a magazine cover. “Like, are people really that mad at us? … So, um, no … we’re not.”

    The appearance seemed to quell several rumors at once. The baby rumor was gone. The pair seemed just fine, so the divorce rumor started waning.

    Then came the planned evening of the pet charity event that the couple didn’t make it to. They were supposed to be at the Saving SPOT! fund-raiser at Tiato in Santa Monica that evening.

    “Ellen and Portia were supposed to be at the event at 5 p.m., a source told Page Six, “but at 6:30 p.m., the media was still waiting for their arrival. Reporters were told they were on their way, until the head of the charity informed everyone at the end of the event that they weren’t going to make it due to ‘logistics.’

    “Ellen and Portia were delayed and were in the car on the way, when they had an epic fight. They ended up turning around and not going to the fund-raiser.”

    The term “epic fight” trended for days.

    Finally, the couple had to speak up and set the record straight.

    “We were happy to lend our names as honorary chairs and the organization was always aware that we would be unable to attend,” Ellen said in a statement. “This is the first time we have seen our images attached to the invite. It was not approved and it is misleading.”

    Ellen’s lawyer Marty Singer swung harder, saying,”The story is a complete lie. My client told the organizer they never agreed nor planned to attend the event. There was no fight that caused them not to attend.”

    Ok, so now we’re all good, right? It’s getting tough to keep up. Especially now that those ubiquitous “inside sources” are now saying that Portia has started suspiciously showing up on the set of Ellen, keeping an eye on her woman.

    “It is kind of creepy,” a source tells Radar Online. “Portia never used to come to see her at work. Ellen tells us that it helps having her there because she ‘at least she doesn’t have to worry about her being home alone. I have to admit, however, it seems like Portia is being slightly controlling by her unplanned visits.”

    Oh, well. Another day, another Portia/Ellen news cycle.

    Reports about the couple have been up and down for weeks now, and it looks like this week is destined to be one of those down weeks.

    PageSix reported that a huge argument erupted between de Rossi and DeGeneres in the car on their way to the Saving SPOT! fundraiser at Tiato in Santa Monica. It apparently became so heated, the two turned around and went right back home.

    Both Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi deny these claims. The couple made a joint statement to Page Six in their effort to dispel the rumor.

    Marty Singer is one of Ellen’s attorneys. He had the following to say about the fight allegations.

    Fox News reports that the charity, Saving SPOT!, has yet to respond for a request for comments.

    RadarOnline, however, is reporting that Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi’s current relationship is ‘as tumultuous as ever.’

    In fact, a source tells them that Portia often shows up on the set where The Ellen DeGeneres Show is filmed, solely to check up on her wife.

    “It is kind of creepy,” the source says. “Portia never used to come to see her at work.”

    According to Page Six, the famous couple abruptly cancelled an appearance at a Saving Spot! pet charity event on Sunday, Oct. 26.

    A source close to the couple reportedly confirmed that the rumored fight was the reason for their decision to cancel the appearance.

    “Ellen and Portia were supposed to be at the event at 5 p.m., but at 6:30 p.m., the media was still waiting for their arrival. Reporters were told they were on their way, until the head of the charity informed everyone at the end of the event that they weren’t going to make it due to ‘logistics,’” the source revealed.

    The source also revealed the famed comedienne and Scandal star were actually en-route to the event when their alleged fight took place.

    “Ellen and Portia were delayed and were in the car on the way, when they had an epic fight. They ended up turning around and not going to the fund-raiser,” the source said.

    However, the couple says otherwise. They released an official statement in reference to the allegations. According to the statement, Ellen and Portia informed the Saving Spot! event organizer that they would not be able to attend the event.

    Ellen’s attorney, Marty Singer, also released a statement on their behalf. He refuted the rumors and allegations stated by the alleged source.

    “The story is a complete lie. My client told the organizer they never agreed nor planned to attend the event. There was no fight that caused them not to attend.”

    The Saving Spot! charity has yet to respond to the statement.
