  • Gabrielle Union Addresses Topless Picture, Confirms It’s Real

Gabrielle Union isn’t a happy camper right now.

Apparently, she’s become a victim of the infamous photo hacking campaign.

Unlike some of the other victimized celebrities whose photos were doctored, the Being Mary Jane star confirmed that the nude picture of her is, indeed, real.

On Saturday, Sept. 20, a topless picture of Union was leaked to the Internet. She reportedly sent the picture to her husband Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade.

But, unfortunately, it ended up in the wrong hands. Now, her intimate gesture to her husband has been viewed by millions across the world.

So, the 41-year-old actress and her new hubby released an official joint statement to TMZ in reference to the hacking incident.

Needless to say, they definitely aren’t pleased with the violation of their privacy. “It has come to our attention that our private moments, that were shared and deleted solely between my husband and myself, have been leaked by some vultures,” their statement read.

“I can’t help but to be reminded that since the dawn of time women and children, specifically women of color, have been victimized, and the power over their own bodies taken from them. These atrocities against women and children continue worldwide.”

The publication also revealed Union wasn’t the only victim whose picture was leaked. On the same day, alleged nude pictures of Emily Ratajkowski, Jenny McCarthy, Kate Bosworth and Lake Bell were also stolen and leaked.

The couple concluded by sending their love and support to those who have been victimized as a result of hate crimes and hacking.

“For anyone out there also being affected by these and other hacking and hate crimes – We send our love, support and prayers.  We have done nothing wrong.”

The newlyweds also stated that they do plan to contact the FBI to further investigate the incident.

Leaked Photos 2014: FBI Is Involved

The recent nude photo scandal involving thousands of photos allegedly belonging to top Hollywood celebrities has drawn the attention of the FBI.

Starlets including Jennifer Lawrence, Victoria Justice, Kate Upton, and even Ariana Grande (who denies that the photos are of her), found their accounts hacked and private images are now being shared across the internet.

The situation has led to a federal investigation as the authorities begin working to hunt down the individual or individuals responsible for this gross invasion of privacy.

While it’s still uncertain exactly how the hacker or hackers gained access to so many celebrity photos, early consensus is that Apple’s iCloud service suffered a massive security breach which made the leak possible.

Apple has since responded to the blame by saying that the company will be doing a thorough investigation into the matter.

The total number of famous women believed to be affected by the hack is speculated to reach nearly 100 in all.

It’s likely that this leak was years in the making as one victim, actress Mary Elizabeth Winstead, said that her “photos were deleted a long time ago”.

This suggests that the person or persons responsible have been meticulously gathering the private photos and videos of these women for a long time. Something that is, as Winstead puts it, “creepy”.

This isn’t the first time that the FBI has launched a major investigation to bring a celebrity nude hacker to justice.

They captured the man responsible for the Scarlett Johannson and Christina Aguilera leaks. A court later sentenced him to ten years in prison.

Although the circumstances are different, the serious nature of this hack and the amount of famous victims involved strongly suggests that there can and will be serious legal ramifications for those involved should federal authorities identify them.

Perhaps a serious legal and financial penalty could serve to warn hackers that there are serious real world consequences for harmful and illegal online activities.

  • Ninja Turtles Reboot Characters Revealed With Photo Leak

Transformers film series producer Michael Bay has made great strides to conceal the details of his upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film. However, it appears a picture has finally leaked.

According to UPI, a poster image for the film surfaced on Thursday, Jan. 3o, and is slowly spreading like wildfire all over the web. The image revealed what fans can expect the new-aged ninja turtles to look like.

The picture, which was initially posted to Reddit, is being coined as an official image associated with Bay‘s forthcoming reboot. Later that day, The Verge reported news of the leaked image.

Bloggers, media outlets, and film enthusiasts immediately gravitated to the image and can be accredited for its rapid matriculation on the web. However, The Verge immediately updated the article stating that the image had been removed by request of Paramount Pictures.

While Bay has yet to confirm the authenticity of the image, the film studio leaves little question about its validity due to their abrupt request to have it removed.

However, the damage had already been done. Although the publication complied with the film studio, the image had already begun circulating around the internet. One film blogger also shared the picture via Twitter. His tweet read, “Michael Bay’s Ninja Turtles look suitably bada–. Can’t imagine Vanilla Ice turning up at the end of this new one…”

A number of other media reports have also poured in about the film as well.

The announcement of the came shortly after the original co-creator Peter Laird’s sold the franchise rights to Nickelodeon. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which is being produced by Nickelodeon Movies, is slated to hit theaters nationwide August 8, 2013.
