  • Joe Jackson, 87-Year-Old Father of the Late Michael Jackson, Suffers Stroke in Brazil

Joe Jackson, father of the late Michael Jackson and head of the musical family from which The Jackson Five and Janet Jackson hail, suffered a stroke while on vacation celebrating his 87th birthday in Brazil.

Sunday was Joe Jackson’s 87th birthday, however local sources tell CBS News that he was already hospitalized by then, and unable to attend his own party.

CBS also reports that they received an emailed statement early on Monday from the Albert Einstein hospital in Sao Paulo. It simply states that Joe Jackson is in fact a patient there, in the intensive care unit. It says he was admitted Sunday and is suffering from an irregular heartbeat.

It’s uncertain which–if any–of Joe Jackson’s family members are with the patriarch in Brazil. Wife Katherine Jackson has custody of Michael Jackson’s children–Prince, Blanket, and Paris Jackson. A short time after Michael died, it was reported that although Katherine and Joe Jackson are still married, they hadn’t lived together in years.

Surely more information will soon be released to media sources regarding Joe Jackson’s condition. Photos on his website posted prior to his stroke show him enjoying his getaway to Brazil.

  • Michael Jackson’s Legacy: Paris, Prince, And Blanket’s Current Dispositions

Six years ago, fans around the globe mourned for the death of Michael Jackson. While most people reflected on the King of Pop’s life during the anniversary of his death, others paid attention to what might be his greatest legacy — his children, Prince, Paris and Blanket.

MJ’s kids have now grown into young adults. Prince, the eldest, is now 18. And before he celebrated his personal milestone this year, he opted to first pay a tribute to his father.

“Before I turn 18 tomorrow I really want to thank a few ppl and first is obviously my dad,” Prince wrote on his Twitter account back in February. “He was and is as incredible human being … not only did he give me the gift of life, he gave me an incredible opportunity to make something of myself.”

Prince also graduated with flying colors from The Buckley School in LA. His grandma Katherine Jackson attended his high school graduation together with sister Paris.

“When they announced his name, the whole Jackson family stood up and cheered and whistled,” an onlooker previously told Us Weekly.

“Prince was ecstatic as he crossed the stage.” Prince is now planning to attend Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles this fall.

Meanwhile, Prince’s younger sister Paris now looks like a total grown up too. Earlier this spring, the 17-year-old was spotted out spending quality time with boyfriend and soccer club member Chester Castellaw. The two even walked on the red carpet together during the premiere of Deaf West Theatre’s Spring Awakening in Los Angeles.

Finally, Blanket, the youngest Jackson, is now attending The Buckley School and continues his love for martial arts. Blanket also got a new name. He is listed as Bigi Jackson in his school yearbook. According to Radar, Bigi is the name that Blanket goes by at school.

  • Paris Jackson: Wedding Rings And Babies Or Rumors?

Paris Jackson has been out of the spotlight for a while now.

In 2013 the teen allegedly tried to kill herself by taking a large quantity of Motrin pills and cutting her arm with a knife.

After the suicide attempt, Paris went to live with her mother in Utah and was allegedly being treated for depression.

While Utah may not be the ideal location for a teenager who is used to living a fast paced lifestyle, her family members felt like maybe Paris was overwhelmed with the attention she was getting after her father’s death and decided it was the best place for her for the time being.

Now that the suicide attempt is behind her, Paris has some new drama and rumors to worry about. She was allegedly seen with a baby bump and shopping for wedding rings with an unidentified man.

Paris is only 16 and the rumors are not likely true. They were started when a source for The Daily Star reportedly saw Paris eating dinner with a man, sporting a baby bump and toasting with water instead of alcohol. Since Paris is only 16 and is not legally allowed to drink or be served alcohol, it makes sense that she would toast with water instead of wine or champagne.

The same source who spoke with the tabloid also said that they saw Paris shopping for engagement rings just a few days after she was caught dining out with a baby bump. Again, the source claimed that Paris was with a man, but did not say if it was the same man she was eating dinner with a few nights earlier.

Paris hasn’t addressed the rumors and will hopefully ignore them and focus on her mental and emotional health.

A few months after Paris moved to Utah, her grandmother Katherine Jackson told Hello! magazine that she was doing much better. Hopefully she can continue to make progress.

  • Paris Jackson Pregnant And Engaged?

    Paris Jackson Pregnant And Engaged?

Paris Jackson, Michael Jackson’s 16-year-old daughter, has been sparking some pretty serious rumors lately. Though probably through no fault of her own, the young lady has put the media speculation in full swing.

Paris’ engagement became all but imminent when a fan spotted her with an unidentified young man shopping for what appeared to be engagement rings.

Then things really got going when some fans spotted Paris Jackson and her young man dining out at a restaurant in Salt Lake City, Utah. She drank water instead of alcohol and the onlookers claimed she was sporting a baby bump.

That’s it. That’s all the evidence as to Paris Jackson’s engagement and baby making.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Kx9VC8yD14

Unfortunately for those on a witch hunt for scandal, the evidence is…well…a bit thin.

Paris Jackson is 16. Granted, 16-year-old girls get pregnant every day in America, but it still shouldn’t be considered a common occurrence.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQqd7V2SCt4

Also, if you remember, Paris attempted suicide last summer by taking large amounts of Motrin and cutting her arm with a meat cleaver because she couldn’t go to a Marilyn Manson concert.

Paris Jackson has since been on psychological medications which sometimes tout weight gain as a side effect. Perhaps her “baby bump” was nothing more than a little extra meat on her slender frame?

As far as her abstinence from alcohol, well that’s just a legal issue. Again, Paris Jackson is 16. Most establishments are not going to risk their business to serve alcohol to a young girl. According to Viral Global News, it’s hard enough to get a drink in Utah when a person is over 21. Utah has many dry counties that have to be sorted through before a person over 21 can even locate a place to drink!

Paris Jackson is most likely just doing some casual dating like all of the other girls her age do. Cue the 15 minute countdown until the next “baby bump” is spotted!

  • Paris Jackson Reportedly Spotted With Baby Bump And Mystery Boyfriend

Aspiring actress Paris Jackson is rumored to be pregnant after being spotted carrying a baby bump that seemed pretty obvious to some onlookers even under loose fitting clothes.

Michael Jackson’s only daughter was apparently observed by a fan while she was on a dinner date with an unnamed boyfriend. “I saw her at dinner and she twice made a toast drinking water instead of wine. That and the prominent stomach bulge got people talking.”

According to inTouch few days earlier, the 16-year-old was allegedly spotted looking at engagement rings with the same boyfriend.

A spokesperson for Jackson has refused to neither deny nor confirm the rumors and has only said: “I do not comment on her personal life.” MJ fans, however, are delighted to hear of the rumors, and are taking to social media with their reactions.

Jackson has stayed low key and away from the spotlight for the past year since her attempted suicide in June last year. The teenager was apparently going through difficult times since her father’s untimely death and tried to end her life by taking over 20 pills.

“She was treated for what appeared to be self-inflicted cuts on her wrists and for ingestion of a possible hazardous amount of pain-killers at UCLA Medical Center, the same place where her father was pronounced dead four years ago,” according to reports at the time.

Following the incident, she attended the Diamond Ranch Academy in Utah, a therapeutic boarding school that reportedly costs $14,000 per month.  This May, she was given the all-clear by the academy’s doctors and she apparently doesn’t want to go back.

Her guardian and paternal grandmother, Katherine Jackson, apparently feels the pricey boarding school does her good and wants her to return.

  • Paris Jackson Target of Baby Rumors

Paris Jackson, the daughter of the late Michael Jackson, recently sparked pregnancy rumors after she was spotted with a noticeable baby bump while having dinner with her boyfriend.

A source revealed that they saw the King of Pop’s only daughter, and noticed that she toasted twice with water, not alcohol. They also revealed that she had a large bulge under her shirt which got people talking.

“I saw her at dinner and she twice made a toast drinking water instead of wine,” the source said. “That and the prominent stomach bulge got people talking. It’s highly unusual to toast with anything but a full glass of wine.”

Considering Paris is only 16 years old, it would make sense that she wouldn’t be drinking alcohol, but for some reason drinking water means that you are expecting your first child.

The pregnancy rumors came only a week after sources said she was seen with her unnamed boyfriend shopping for engagement rings. So is Paris pregnant and planning on getting married?

So far, neither Paris or the rest of the Jackson family have commented on the rumors. However, we do know that Paris has had a rough year, and has been on the mend since trying to take her own life last year.

“She was treated for what appeared to be self-inflicted cuts on her wrists and for ingestion of a possible hazardous amount of pain-killers at UCLA Medical Center, the same place where her father was pronounced dead four years ago,” the North Dallas Gazette reported at the time.

Many fans are furious that Paris is being dragged back through the rumor mill and took to social media to share their frustrations.

  • Marilyn Manson Mourns The Death Of His Mother

You would have never pegged Marilyn Manson as the sensitive type; however, it turns out he is.

Manson, whose real name is Brian Warner, lost his mother Barbara J. Warner last week, when she passed away after fighting an intense battle with dementia. She was only 68-years-old.

Manson, who is known for his dark side and heavy metal rock music, took to his personal Twitter and Facebook accounts to pay tribute to Barbara. “Mother, to the first and greatest believer in me…I hope I see you again someday,” he wrote on Sunday.

“But not now, because I have more things I promised I would do,” Manson, added. “I’ll make you proud and satisfied that you know that you made the son you wanted. I love you.”

Barbara’s obituary was featured on www.legacy.com, and read: “Barbara J Warner age 68, passed peacefully on Tuesday after a long battle with dementia. She was a wife, lover, mother and friend who will be missed forever. Survived by her husband, Hugh A. Warner; and a son, Brian H. Warner. Services were private. The Lamiell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.”

It is unusual to see the heavy rocker reveal his soft side, but it isn’t the first time he has. Last June, when Paris Jackson, the late Michael Jackson’s daughter, attempted suicide, he reached out to her and offered her his support. “I hope you feel better,” he said to Paris in a statement. “You will be on my guest list anytime you want.” He later dedicated a song to Paris, during one of his concerts in Los Angeles.

  • Debbie Rowe Engaged and Fighting for Custody of her Children

Last month, TMZ reported that Debbie Rowe, the former wife of Michael Jackson, was engaged to Marc Schaffel, a long-time friend of Rowe and a once friend and producer of Jackson. Originally, she dismissed the gossip site’s news of her engagement; she claimed it was false.

Rowe later revealed that she, originally, turned down Schaffel’s proposal because of a health scare. She feared cancer was killing her, but it turned out she had sarcoidosis, an auto-immune disease. Once Rowe knew the diagnosis wasn’t deadly, she changed her mind about the proposal.

Rowe told TMZ live that “he’s helped me with a lot of things. And friendship sometimes turns into a relationship.” She also expressed that her kids really like Schaffel. Rowe and Schaffel have not set a wedding date yet.

Besides becoming engaged, Rowe has begun the process to get full custody of her two kids with Jackson, Paris and Prince. She would like to take over guardianship of Blanket as well, who is not biologically her child. A source told TMZ that “Rowe is deeply concerned about the environment in the Jackson home.  She likes Katherine Jackson but believes she has gotten way too old to serve as guardian ... Katherine's not connected with the kids or involved in their lives” She also has some problems with the Jackson brothers influence in her children’s lives. According to the TMZ source, Rowe finds Jermaine Jackson “creepy and extremely inappropriate.” She wants him far away from her children. The brothers have already fired back at Rowe claiming "[The children] are well loved and well taken care of. We are quite taken back [sic] that Ms. Rowe has decided now to enter their lives, after she abandoned her children many years ago for money." Rowe plans to file a document making her the guardian of Paris and Prince. Then she wants to move them to her ranch in Palmdale CA, where she runs a horse breeding and raising business. • Michael Jackson’s Daughter Returns Home For NYE

Although Paris Jackson, Michael Jackson’s daughter, did not make it home for Christmas, she was with her family to ring in the new year. Paris returned to her grandmother Katherine Jackson’s home, for the first time since she attempted suicide in June 2013.

Shortly after, Katherine issued a statement, regarding the suicide attempt, and asked for people to respect Paris’ privacy. “Being a sensitive 15 year old is difficult no matter who you are. It is especially difficult when you lose the person closest to you,” the statement read. “Paris is physically fine and is getting appropriate medical attention. Please respect her privacy and the family’s privacy.”

Several days before she was hospitalized, Paris was very active on Twitter, posting disturbing tweets. “I wonder why tears are salty?” she tweeted. An hour later she wrote: “yesterday ,all my troubles seemed so far away now it looks as through they’re here to stay.”

Paris has been living in Utah at a therapeutic boarding school since she left Los Angeles, after receiving treatment. Katherine told Hello! magazine that Paris was “doing much better”, and that her treatment is “going good, really good”.

“She’s my baby,” Katherine continued. “It’s hard for me, really hard. All I wanted these kids to be is happy. The night [Michael Jackson] died Paris was crying and said ‘I want to go and see Daddy, I don’t want to be without him.'”

Hopefully things will continue to improve for Paris, and she will be able to join her family, at home, for good.

  • Michael Jackson’s Daughter Is Home For The New Year

Michael Jackson’s only daughter, Paris Jackson, was able to make it home to spend time with her family for New Years after her reported suicide attempt back in June. The teen was reunited with her birth mother and her grandmother during her break from school for the holidays, and although she wasn’t able to make it home to California for Christmas, she was able to join her family in time to ring in the new year. She took to Instagram with a picture (shown above) of herself and her birth mother , Debbie Rowe, very simply captioned, “momma : )”

Paris was vacationing in Hawaii during Christmas and Christmas eve with her mother, brothers, and grandmother, Katherine Jackson, who is the guardian of Paris and her two brothers. Paris attempted suicide back in June by downing painkillers and slitting her wrists. She was sent shortly after to the Diamond Ranch Academy in Utah, an elite and secluded treatment center for youth aged 12 to 18, specializing in grief and depression issues. On the topic of her granddaughter, Katherine said, “She is in a good place, getting the help she needs. She is doing much better. The treatment is going good, really good. She’s my baby. It’s hard for me, really hard. All I want these kids to be is happy.”

Paris is now home in California at her grandmother’s house, where she rung in the new year. She will be staying with her grandmother for a few days as she finishes out her winter break, and will be returning to Utah afterwords. Undisclosed sources say to E! News that Paris is doing well, and that her recovery is also taking an upturn. Hopefully, Paris will be able to return to her family in full health soon; in the meantime, it’s great to hear that she gets to spend time with her loved ones as she heals, even if only for a little while.

  • Marilyn Manson: Paris Jackson Welcome at Any Show

Paris Jackson, the daughter of late pop star Michael Jackson, attempted suicide earlier this week. According to new details released today by TMZ, the teen reportedly tried to overdose on an unnamed medication and “took a meat cleaver to her arm.” She survived the ordeal and is now recovering.

The suicide attempt reportedly came right after the 15-year-old Jackson was told she could not attend a Marilyn Manson concert. An argument followed, and the teen later posted short updates to her Twitter feed, including the question, “i wonder why tears are salty?” and lyrics to the Beatles song “Yesterday.”

Now, rock star Marilyn Manson has spoken out to Jackson, letting her known she is welcome at any of his concerts. Manson’s VIP concert packages include early access to shows, exclusive merchandise, and a meet and greet with the man himself, though the singer’s offer to Jackson implies even better treatment.

“I hope you feel better,” said Manson through TMZ. “You will be on my guest list anytime you want.”

Manson is currently touring throughout the U.S. He is scheduled to play the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles tonight with guest Alice Cooper.

  • Paris Jackson Survives Suicide Attempt

    Paris Jackson Survives Suicide Attempt

Paris Jackson, daughter of late pop star Michael Jackson, has reportedly attempted suicide.

According to a TMZ report, Jackson was rushed to a hospital at around 2 am Wednesday morning. The report cites an unnamed source “connected to the emergency response” as saying a possible overdose is suspected, and that multiple cuts were also reported on one of the teen’s wrists. Jackson has reportedly survived the suicide attempt.

Since the 911 call, other unnamed sources have told TMZ that the 15-year-old Jackson has attempted suicide in the past, but that this incident is the most serious yet. There are also reports that Jackson became upset Tuesday night after being prevented from attending a Marilyn Manson concert.

Jackson’s latest tweets seem to corroborate the reports that she engaged in some kind of argument on Tuesday night. She posted a quick tweet reading “that conversation escalated quickly” and then indicated she had been crying before posting lyrics from the Beatles song “Yesterday:”

A lawyer representing Jackson’s mother, Debbie Rowe, has asked for fans and the press to respect the family’s privacy at this time. In the past, Jackson has complained of bullying an her odd childhood. More recently, Jackson was spotted cheering with her high school cheerleading squad.

  • Paris Jackson: Surgeon Could be Her Career Choice

While her brother Prince has begun a career on-screen as a correspondent for Entertainment Tonight, Paris Jackson still has a few years to decide where she wants her life and fame to take her. The 15-year-old high school student this week spoke with The Daily Mail about what she hopes to do in the future.

Jackson, who is already receiving ‘offers’ from NFL cheerleading squads based on blurry footage of her performance cheering at a basketball game, told The Daily Mail that she really wants to be a heart surgeon. The ambition comes, she says, from her impulse to help people.

Jackson also described to the publication what it was like to grow up with her father, pop star Michael Jackson. In particular, she stated that her father made her and her brothers cover their faces in public so that they “could have what he didn’t, which was a normal childhood.”

Jackson also expressed a desire to renovate her father’s infamous Neverland estate, saying that she could use it to benefit “less privileged children.” Paris and Prince have stated in the past that they intend to purchase the property with their inheritance.

  • Paris Jackson: NFL “Offers” Her a Cheerleading Job

Last week, Paris Jackson, the daughter of pop icon Michael Jackson, was spotted on the cheerleading squad for her L.A. school, The Buckley School. She showed off her short-cropped hair while cheering for her school’s basketball team.

Now, TMZ is reporting that Paris might have a shot at becoming an NFL cheerleader. The publication spoke to Barbara Zaun, director of cheerleading for the Philadelphia Eagles cheerleaders. Zaun was effusive with her praise for Jackson and even suggested that she try out for the Eagles cheerleading squad. From the TMZ report:

“We thought that she had a lot of poise, confidence, and enthusiasm in her cheer performance,” Zaun says … adding, “Paris has that ‘wow factor’ that makes a great cheerleader.”

Zaun also told TMZ, “We hope that she will try out for the team and be an Eagles cheerleader.”

Jackson will have to wait until she is 18 to try out for the Eagles, and even then it isn’t clear from the leaked video that she has the skills to be an NFL cheerleader. Still, no NFL team would pass up the publicity of having Michael Jackson’s daughter on their cheerleading squad, so this “offer” is probably at least half-serious.

  • Paris Jackson Builds Shrine To Her Father

Paris Jackson Builds Shrine To Her Father

Paris Jackson has gained quite a bit of attention lately on Twitter, where she has almost 810,000 followers. Since finding herself in the news recently after a family feud involving her aunts, uncles, and grandmother was made public, Paris is spending a lot of time just trying to be a normal teenage girl. Her efforts are reflected on her Twitter page, where she posts about baking, Harry Potter, and laughing with her friends until her sides hurt.

Yesterday, however, one post caught the world’s attention: a photo of a huge photographic shrine of her father, which she made on the wall above her bed.

    (image)

Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like the Jackson family’s troubles will be coming to an end anytime soon; several members are currently engaged in a court battle over Michael’s will. Let’s hope Paris can keep up the positive attitude she seems to have as she moves into adulthood.

  • Katherine Jackson Still Hasn’t Made Contact with Her Grandchildren

Katherine Jackson, mother of pop music legend Michael Jackson and legal guardian of his three children, is still hiding out somewhere in Arizona. According to reports, she still hadn’t made contact with Prince, Blanket, and Paris, the latter of whom has tweeted about this very peculiar situation. Fearing that something had happened to their grandmother, a missing person’s report was filed on Saturday, though she’s thought to be staying with her daughter.

Details surrounding Katherine’s disappearance have been all over the place as of late. One of Michael Jackson’s siblings issued a statement earlier this week, claiming the person who filed the missing person’s report is the same individual they are trying to protect their mother from. In the meantime, Trent Jackson, the man who filed the paperwork following Katherine’s disappearance, is rumored to be looking after Michaels’s offspring.

On July 24th, Paris issued the following statement on her Twitter account:

Regarding Katherine Jackson’s disappearance, attorney Sandra L. Ribera recently told Nightline, “We don’t know where she is. We know that she is in Arizona, allegedly, but we don’t know where because law enforcement won’t give us the address, because it is an ongoing investigation.” Ribera also added that Katherine was being prevented from reaching out to her grandchildren by the people she’s staying with, though she wouldn’t say who those individuals are.

If that wasn’t enough family turmoil for one week, authorities were alerted to a disturbance at the Jackson home on Monday after Randy, Jermaine, and Janet bypassed security and allegedly attempted to take Michael’s kids away. Depending on who you believe, all of this nonsense has something to do with Jackson’s will, which stipulated that his estate be left to his children and his mother. In other words, all of this is probably about money.

Katherine’s business partner, Howard Mann, also believes money is the motivating factor behind everything that’s occurred over the past few days. “I believe that Katherine and the children who are benefactors of the estate fall on one side, and then Randy, Jermaine and Rebbie and Tito fall on the other side,” he explained. “They’re a group of people who have a great deal of questions about the administration of the estate.”

  • Janet Jackson Dispute Could Push Niece Away

Janet Jackson is reportedly pretty irritated that her niece, Paris Jackson, has accepted a role in the film “Lundon’s Bridge and the Three Keys”, which won’t be out until 2014. Although Paris says she’s always wanted to pursue a career in acting, Janet feels her brother would be upset if he knew one of his children was going against his wishes for them to stay out of the Hollywood eye.

Janet also thinks Paris and her brothers, Blanket and Prince, should just enjoy being children, which is all their father ever wanted for them. Getting involved in the entertainment industry will put an abrupt end to that, however, and the doting aunt wants the kids to go to college and have normal lives instead.

But if acting is something Paris really wants to pursue, Janet’s interference could only drive a wedge between them. Paris is at an age–14–where she’s likely to feel her decisions should be her own, and no amount of coaching can help when a teenage girl wants a particular thing.

  • Paris Jackson Opens Up About Being Bullied

Paris Jackson, one of King Of Pop Michael Jackson’s three children, is starting to give the world a glimpse into her life, and what it’s like to be the kid of one of the most famous people in the world. Not surprisingly, it’s not all it’s cracked up to be.

Paris says she didn’t understand why her father made her and her siblings wear masks when they were in public with him; they were too young to comprehend their father’s enormous fame and what it could mean for their lives if everyone knew what the children looked like. Now, she says, she understands, and although it hasn’t helped with school bullies, it did help her, Blanket, and Prince have somewhat normal childhoods.

“When we went out without him, we wouldn’t be recognized,” she explained. “He told us that when he was younger, he didn’t really have a childhood. He would always be stuck in the studio singing while the kids were out playing. He wanted us to have that … we had a normal childhood.”

Jackson has famously spoken out against his controlling father in the past, saying he was never allowed to do the things normal kids did once the Jackson Five took off, making them a family full of superstars.

Unfortunately, there’s only so much one can do to protect their kids against the general public, and because the kids are now school age, they are bearing the brunt of their peers’ cruelty, especially since Michael’s death and the rumors swirling around the cause.

Paris says she will push away someone if she feels their friendship is fake, and, like many kids her age, says she’s been the victim of cyber-bullying. But in a rare show of maturity, Paris says she tries not to take it to heart.

“If I feel someone’s being fake to me, I will just push away,” she says. “There are kids at my school that talk so bad behind my back and they don’t think that I can hear them… Sometimes I can hear them, a lot of times my friends will tell me what they say, and I’m like, ‘OK. Cool,’” she said.
