  • Nick Gordon Posed Crying At Bobbi Kristina Grave For Money [Pics]?

Nick Gordon was not permitted to attend the funeral of the woman he loved, Bobbi Kristina Brown. Nick Gordon has been accused by some of abusing and finally killing Bobbi Kristina. But last week Nick Gordon was photographed visiting the grave of his love.

But now there are accusations that Nick Gordon was there by arrangement, that he was paid to weep at Bobbi Kristina’s grave. Page Six says his “secret pilgrimage” to visit her final resting place was a ruse.

Page Six reports that Nick Gordon was paid $40,000 for photos and video of his graveside visit, a very specific amount of money. They say that the Enquirer paid Nick that sum, then licensed the use of the material to Entertainment Tonight.

“It was not by accident that Nick was photographed at the site,” an insider said. And tabloids say that the money is going to Nick Gordon’s “legal defense fund” to pay his legal team to defend him against accusations that he killed Bobbi Kristina.

“Nick is broke,” the insider said. “He can’t afford to defend himself. There was a deal for that money to go to his defense fund.”

Gordon is up against a $10 million civil suit brought by Bobbi Kristina’s conservator, which claims that Gordon got Bobbi Kristina drunk with a “toxic cocktail” and “put her face down in a tub of cold water, causing her to suffer brain damage.”

What about these rumors that Nick Gordon was paid $40,000 for pics at Bobbi Kristina’s grave?

A rep for Nick Gordon shot back, “This is completely fabricated.”

A rep for The Enquirer then took a swipe at their rival publication, saying, “I would also like to add, Page 6 [sic] isn’t a trusted source in news.” The National Enquirer, more than any other publication, has been unflinching in our reporting of the mysterious circumstances surrounding the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown.”

Gordon’s lawyers said in a statement that the lawsuit against Nick Gordon was “slanderous and meritless.”

“Nick has been heartbroken and destroyed over the loss of his love and it’s shameful that such baseless allegations have been presented publicly,” the statement read. “Nick has engaged civil counsel and intends to defend the lawsuit vigorously and expose it for what it is: a fictitious assault against the person who loved Krissy most.”

  • Cindy Adams Remembers Joan Rivers

Cindy Adams, of the New York Post’s Page Six, wrote and amazing piece about long-time friend Joan Rivers.

The lovely words from a woman who knew Joan Rivers so intimately were a great comfort to a nation who is still mourning the loss of a national comedic treasure.

Cindy Adams has seen Joan Rivers at her highest and at her very lowest.

“I’ve seen her happy, sad, laughing, crying, making a dirty joke, sipping a red wine. I’ve watched her be feisty and funny. I’ve been with her when she’s inside some junky nightie and fuzzy striped sock slippers. I know who she liked, who she didn’t.”

But nothing could have prepared Cindy Adams for attending to her friend in the last days of her life.

“Last week I saw a Joan Rivers one shouldn’t see. Pale and still as marble. Uncommunicative. No makeup. No cameras. No one-liners. No movement. Wires hooked to machines. The blonde head in bandages.”

However, though Joan wasn’t conscious, she surely would have appreciated what her daughter, Melissa, had created in her room as she breathed her last few breaths.

“That was hard. But she was in a room with flowers and music. It was fragrant. It was amazing,” said Margie Stern, who was at the hospital “all day, every day” with Joan and Melissa.

She added, “Joan looked beautiful at the end.”

Joan was a presence that couldn’t be denied and her brash, irreverent humor will be remembered for a very, very long time.

According to her friend, Cindy Adams, Joan Rivers hasn’t even stopped.

“And today TV, radio, internet, newspapers, magazines, all nonstop wall-to-wall Joan Rivers. Strangers are writing her name on dusty windshields. She’d love it. She’s probably nudging that saint at the Pearly Gate with: ‘Hey, Pete, how about this really great show!’”

What great words from Cindy Adams, a friend who knew Joan Rivers better than most could ever hope to.

  • Laura Prepon Buys White Dress, Denies Wedding Rumors

It’s a tale as old as virgin brides: if a woman in Hollywood is seen within a ten foot radius of a white garment, the people over at Page Six will scream WEDDING.

This lovely tradition in American gossip-rag culture was recently experienced by Orange Is The New Black star Laura Prepon when she was spotted at a run-of-the-mill custom couture dress fitting at Bergdorf Goodman, after which she was inundated with rumors of her impending nuptials.

Except that Prepon isn’t engaged. And it’s a ridiculous leap from “tries on white dress” to “is definitely getting married” that I would only expect from the lovely people who keep us informed about what OITNB cast members do on their day off. Which, according to Prepon, is try on clothes for fancy-shmancy parties that have dress codes on the invitation instead of a suggestion to BYOB.

Specifically, Prepon is prepping for Bella Magazine’s upcoming All-White Party in the Hamptons (this party DOES sound really white), which she is hosting.

And while Prepon is dutifully fulfilling Hollywood expectations to dress herself in ridiculously overpriced couture (the dress in question is an Isabelle Armstrong gown), don’t expect her to force her body to comply to their standards as well.

“All the women on the show are different shapes, sizes, colors and creed – everything! You really embrace who you are, your curves and everything,” said Prepon to Women’s Running magazine about her body image philosophy. “So if anything on this show, it’s the most comfortable I’ve ever been because all of us just really embrace who we are. It’s wonderful.”

It IS wonderful, Laura Prepon. And may I say I am incredibly glad your cool-ass self isn’t marrying Tom Cruise. Now THAT was a terrifying rumor.
