  • Karrueche Tran Tells Iyanla Vanzant She Was Betrayed By Chris Brown In Exclusive Interview

    Nobody can help a hopeless case like Karrueche Tran’s, not even Iyanla Vanzant.

    The renowned OWN TV host dug through Tran’s emotional state to help the model get over her tumultuous relationship with singer Chris Brown.

    During the Iyanla Exclusive: Karrueche Tran special, Tran poured her heart out in an attempt to put herself in better light due to people’s negative judgment of her on-again, off-again relationship with the (in)famous singer.

    “I want my voice to be heard. For a long time I kept it very mute just because that’s the way I preferred it, but I think there are a lot of misconceptions about me and I want to be able to clear it up and a chance to tell my story and my side,” Tran said.

    Vanzant asked Tran how she felt on learning about her ex-boyfriend’s baby and the actress/model can only say that she felt hurt and betrayed. “I feel like I let myself down,” she said.

    Seemingly superficial questions arose during the interview, including “Where was Chris Brown taking you to dinner,” “Did you sleep with him too fast,” and “So are you clear you are famous by association,” which sounded judgmental and might have worsen Tran’s already bruised social media status.

    Kind words were offered to Tran using the hashtag #KarruecheSpeaks while others accused the model of dating Brown for the fame.

    “All ladies need to watch this #KarruecheSpeaks interview and learn something about what your worth. #JesusLovedYou way before any man,” tweeted @EricaAkpan.

    “I’ve been exactly where @karrueche is now. Been thru enough, grown enough to admit that to myself w/o shame. @oprah @OWNTV#KarruecheSpeaks,” Goldie Taylor tweeted.

    Although Vanzant tried to wake Tran up from her nightmarish love fantasies, Tran still declared that her relationship with Chris Brown was real, saying “He did give me love. Maybe it wasn’t the right love or the same level…There’s no doubt in my mind that Chris loves me. I know he does.”

    This is what model Karrueche Tran is continuously learning despite ending her 4-year volatile relationship with the Grammy award-wining artist.

    “Listen. One can only take so much. The best of luck to Chris and his family. No baby drama for me,” Tran posted on Twitter earlier this month, cutting her on-again, off-again love story with Brown.

    In an interview with OWN, Tran’s rocky love life gets more unneeded exposure as the 26-year-old sits down with OWN spiritual life coach Iyanla Vanzant. When questioned about Brown’s alleged nine-month-old child from another woman, Tran break down in apparent want to end the interview.

    Reports say that Tran has thrown OWN crew out of her house for having felt “ambushed” during the interview for the OWN primetime show. Comment from OWN about the incident has not been released.

    Tran’s rep tells E! News that some questions during the interview should not have been brought up.

    “Karrueche talks candidly with Iyanla about life in the spotlight, as well as her relationship with Chris Brown and subsequent breakup after he allegedly fathered a child with another woman. Best friend Christina Milian provides Iyanla another perspective on Karrueche’s situation,” said Tran’s rep.

    While the model is keeping herself busy with TV interviews and Cancun beach trips with best friend Milian, now ex-boyfriend Brown seemed unwilling to let go.

    The singer was reported stalking his ex-girlfriend on Instagram, commenting on the model’s sexy selfie with, “Continue to be a lady beautiful… U are perfect.”

    In an almost bi-polar comment, Brown added “Thirst Trap 101. Don’t let the Thot form from anger.” The singer referenced the acronym slang term that stands for “that ho over there” and called out his ex-girlfriend’s post as a bid for attention.

  • Lindsay Lohan Is Planning A Move To London

    Since her younger days, starring in films like The Parent Trap and Freaky Friday, Lindsay Lohan has seemingly spiraled out of control.

    The six-time rehab alum has struggled with drugs and alcohol, and was recently seen partying it up at the Cannes Film Festival in France.

    “Lindsay’s really enjoying being in the UK and has told her pals that she’s staying here for good,” a source close to Lindsay revealed. “Lindsay has also started investigating getting acting work in London,” the source added.

    Lohan recently moved from her Los Angeles home to her native home in Long Island, New York, citing wanting to be closer to her family and leave her partying ways as the reason. Now, Lohan is planning a possible move to another country, where she hopes to redefine herself as an actress.

    Lindsay most recently appeared in her self-titled OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) reality show Lindsay, where she documented her struggles with drugs and alcohol. The eight-part documentary series showed Lindsay at her lowest times, and provided a very emotional look into Lindsay’s life.

    The first couple episodes of the show had us concerned that Lohan was just falling back into her old bad habits. However, she explained that the producers picked one of the craziest times of her life to start filming, and they were simply looking for ratings.

    “It is a television show so they want ratings—they picked the first two months after I got back to New York after I had been in treatment,” Lohan said at the time. “I became really spiritual over this past year and I have been trying to find peace and serenity in my life. So of course they take the chaos of me moving after eight years of living in L.A. back to the city of New York. So it’s like ‘Oprah reprimands Lindsay!’”

  • Lindsay Lohan Shares Shocking Secrets

    During Sunday night’s final episode of OWN’s original series Lindsay , Lindsay Lohan revealed some shocking secrets, including that she recently had a miscarriage.

    Lohan was absent from the show for several weeks, and just revealed that the miscarriage was why.

    “No one knows this, and we can finish after this. I had a miscarriage for the two weeks that I took off,” she said.

    “It’s a very long story,” she continued. “I was sick. And mentally that messes with you. And watching this series, I just know how I felt at that moment, and I can relate to that girl, which sounds kinda crazy. But I’m like, ‘Oh my God, this is really sad, who is helping her?’”

    Lohan didn’t say who the unborn baby’s father was, and didn’t give any more details about her pregnancy.

    She did, however, address the recent leak of her sexual partners list on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live, on Thursday. She said that the list was legitimate, and wasn’t meant to be seen by anyone; it was part of her 12 step recovery program.

    “That list that came out, that was part of my Betty Ford — it’s step No. 5 or step No. 8 — it’s your sexual inventory, and that was in my Betty Ford book, so that was really personal to my sponsor,” she explained. “You write that for your sponsor. So someone took a photo [of the list], and I’m pretty sure I know who it is, unfortunately, and they’re not a part of my life at all anymore. They might be on the show at some point,” she said.

    Lohan described the leak as “unfortunate and disrespectful.” “That’s something sacred to me, that’s something that I trusted with people that were in my life,” Lohan said. “That’s not something I’d show anyone, besides my sponsor, who is also a very well-known person. The fact that that happened was not only humiliating, but just mean.”

    Lindsay Lohan was the source of mom Dina Lohan’s angst during her days of drug and alcohol abuse. The elder Lohan recently told Oprah Winfrey she was afraid her daughter would die as a result of abusing her body.

    “Did you think there were days when she wouldn’t make it?” Winfrey asked Dina Lohan during her OWN docu-series called Lindsay.

    Dina Lohan appeared visibly shaken by the question, so Oprah asked a variation of it again.

    “What was the darkest for you?” she prompted Dina.

    “That. Losing her,” she replied.

    “The more the press would keep staying she’s going to be [one of those tragic Hollywood stories]—they were like putting that out in the universe,” Dina Lohan added as she worked to not lose her composure during the interview. “That was scaring me the most, ’cause I knew that could happen to her.”

    Oprah Winfrey made sure to mention that Lindsay Lohan is back home in New York during this, her post-rehab phase. This makes Dina Lohan happy, however she admits she is still feeling a small amount of that familiar angst.

    “Uneasy, but calmer,” she said of her present demeanor.

    Dina Lohan is often portrayed in a very unflattering light, but during her interview with Oprah Winfrey it became clear that she was still a mom who loved her daughter.

    Lindsay Lohan admits that reliving all of her rough times for Oprah Winfrey’s docu-series wasn’t an easy thing to do.

    Fortunately the young actress is still around to appear on the OWN network, and maybe her experiences will help save others from traveling down the same dismal road.

  • Lindsay Lohan’s Premiere Called “Boring”

    Lindsay Lohan’s docu-series premiered on Sunday night on Oprah’s OWN, and while many were expecting non-stop drama in the first episode, some critics found it a little slow and even boring at times.

    While a preview last week promised an interesting look inside the troubled actress’s life, the first episode is mostly about her hunt for an apartment and gives us a look at her everyday life more than the tension between her and her famous family, although that’s sure to come in the near future; Lohan does have a meal with her dad which doesn’t look like it ends well.

    “If you were hoping for a tabloid-style portrayal of Lohan’s “train wreck” existence, you were likely disappointed by the premiere, which presented the actress not only as a recovering addict, but as a hopeful survivor,” wrote Yahoo’s Andy Swift. “Sure, there was the occasional moment of insanity — I’m still not sure why Lohan found herself at that lingerie shoot, and any scene featuring mom Dina Lohan was pure gold — but for the most part, the premiere took itself very seriously.”

    However, many who saw the premiere admit that a little “boring” might be the key to Lohan getting her life back on track after a slew of legal troubles and battles with alleged substance abuse. In the preview that was released last week, the actress talks about her hard partying ways and says that it doesn’t appeal to her anymore because she’s done it all.

    Lindsay Lohan to Appear on ‘2 Broke Girls’

    CBS announced Wednesday that Lindsay Lohan will make a guest appearance on the network’s hit TV series 2 Broke Girls next month.

    The series follows Max (Kat Dennings) and Caroline (Beth Behrs) as they try to navigate life and make enough money to start and maintain a successful cupcake business. The two work as waitresses at a diner and sometimes take on other odd jobs to earn extra income.

    In 2 Broke Girls, Lohan plays Claire Guinness, an indecisive soon-to-be bride, who hires Max and Caroline to make her wedding cake.

    The episode airs on April 14 at 8 p.m. EST, the first time the series will air in its new time slot.

    News of her casting comes just days before the premiere of OWN‘s upcoming docuseries Lindsay, which debuts March 9. Oprah Winfrey’s Discovery-operated OWN network released a trailer for the series Tuesday. The eight episode series follows the 27-year-old actress’s recovery after several personal crises, including a stint in rehab.

    The CBS announcement comes at an opportune time for the Mean Girls actress, just days before the launch of her new series this weekend. She makes a return appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show March 6, after she appeared as a guest in Fallon’s inaugural episode.

    Lohan tweeted her excitement about appearing on 2 Broke Girls Wednesday.

  • Lindsay Lohan Gets Scolded by Oprah

    Viewers were treated to a special sneak peak of what to expect on the new Oprah Winfrey backed docu-series “Lindsay.” The reality show is set to premiere on OWN this Sunday at 10 pm. A teaser trailer has made its way around the internet, and it features an already fed up Oprah telling Lindsay to get herself together.

    After one of Oprah’s assistant’s tells the former Queen of talk that Lohan is not following the established rules and not being cooperative with the production, Winfrey replies, “This is exactly what everybody said was gonna happen, and I believed differently. She doesn’t understand, this is your life!”

    Oprah later confronts Lohan, “I really do want you to win.” She then adds, “You need to cut the bullsh*t, you really do.”

    Here’s a look at the trailer. Several familiar faces make an appearance including Lohan’s spotlight-seeking parents Michael and Dina. We also see Lohan’s defeated-looking “sober coach.” There are plenty of tears, personal claims of staying clean, and of course complaints about the paparazzi and how Lohan “feels like a prisoner all the time.”

    Many questions emerge from the trailer that may spark viewer interest. Will the 27-year-old actress use the show as a way to win back the hearts of the public? She was nearly at “America’s Sweetheart” level after successful star-making turns in Freaky Friday and Mean Girls. However, after multiple stints in rehab, several arrests, jail time, and constant bad press…can Lohan make a comeback? Or is she already washed up? Is she even capable of acting responsible and putting in the necessary hard work that it takes to stay sober and act like a professional?

    She says at the end of the video, “I know this is my last shot at doing what I love to do.” Only time will determine if she actually means what she says. Either way, by the looks of this trailer, audiences who do tune in should expect to see a lot of drama.

    One thing is for sure, Lohan still has plenty of fans that root for her. She currently has over 7.8 million followers on Twitter, and that number should go up dramatically after Sunday night.

  • Lindsay Lohan Gets Firm Lecture From Oprah

    Lindsay Lohan has been the subject of a docu-series for Oprah’s OWN over the past several months, and now we’re finally getting a peek at what we’re in for. It looks like Lindsay isn’t holding back, sitting down for interviews about her partying ways and having dinner with her estranged father, which ends with harsh words. But at some point, Lindsay slips back into her old ways–the ones that led to her reputation of being difficult to work with–and stops showing up for shoots. That’s when Oprah has a sit-down with her.

    In the new preview for the show–which premieres on Sunday at 10/9 C–we see Oprah call Lindsay out on her “bullshit” after a conversation with an assistant about the star’s behavior. And Lindsay, like any red-blooded human would, listens and nods her agreement.

    Unlike many in Hollywood who have already given up on the actress, Oprah says she’s not ready to do that because she wants to see Lindsay succeed. As a child actress whose life veered in a dangerous direction, Lohan is one of those celebrities everyone loves to watch self-destruct. But after the sad tale of Amanda Bynes–who just finished a stint in rehab after several run-ins with the law and a scary incident involving a gasoline fire set in a stranger’s driveway–many are realizing just how quickly a downward spiral can run its course.

  • Oprah Winfrey Finds Lindsay Lohan Hard To Work With

    When word got out that Oprah Winfrey’s OWN was releasing a reality show surrounding Lindsay Lohan’s life, the world uttered a collect “Oh-Oh,” because we all know that Lohan hasn’t shown the most amount of responsibility in the past several years. And now Winfrey is experiencing some of that irresponsibility first hand.

    “There’ve been bumpety-bumps, bumpety bumps,” said Winfrey in an interview with the E! channel.

    But despite those challenges, it seems the show will still air on March 9. At least as far as Winfrey can tell. “But as far as I know, as of right now, whatever time this is, we’re still filming. And that’s a part of it, that’s part of live, that’s part of coming out and trying to put your life together,” she said.

    Most people first heard that Lohan and Winfrey were working together when the red-haired actress sat down with Winfrey in a no-holds-barred interview last year, but reports came out that Lohan was up to her usual tricks of jumping on a plane and leaving the country without telling anybody.

    In fact, the person from E! interviewing Winfrey alerted her to the fact that Lohan was out of the country, much to the former-talk show host’s surprise. “You would probably know more than I do,” said Winfrey, when she was told that Lohan wasn’t in the States at the moment. “As far as I know we’re still filming. Do you know something?”

    It’ll be interesting to see if Lohan completes the necessary amount of filming to get a decent show in, and if Winfrey has the patience to even deal with the 27-year old actress for a long period of time. But either way, it doesn’t seem that Winfrey is hiding her frustration, because when she showed a clip of the show to TV critics, she can be heard chastising Lohan. “My truth is, I really do want you to win, but if that isn’t what you want, I’m okay with that. I will tell these guys to pack up and leave today,” she said.

    During an interview on OWN Network’s Where Are They Now special, Tamera Mowry-Housley broke down into tears as she discussed her run-ins with racism.

    Since marrying Fox News Channel correspondent Adam Housley in 2011, Mowry-Housley says that she has received intense criticism and hatred for marrying a man that is outside of her race.

    “I’ve never experienced so much hate ever in my life. I get called, ‘White man’s whore,’ the new one, ‘Back in the day, you cost $300 but now you’re giving it to ‘em for free.’ Stuff that, me as a person, could never even fathom,” she reveals. “I can’t even think of these words.

    Mowry-Housley says that she never even gave any thought to race when she chose who she would date or marry. She, and her twin sister Tia Mowry-Hardict, are bi-racial, and she says that she just wanted a relationship based on love. “It’s very hard for me to think of it because I’m a product of it,” she continues. “My mom is a beautiful black woman and my dad is an amazing white man. I grew up seeing a family. I didn’t grow up seeing, ‘ooh a blank with a white person!’ So it’s very shocking to go through this,” she said.

    “This was the big one. They say, ‘Oh Tia’s a true black woman because she married a black man.’ Oh? I’m lesser of a black person because I married white? I love my husband so much. I love my family,” she explains. “I love our dynamic. I’m proud to be in the relationship I am in because it’s based on love. Pure love.”

    Famous child star Tamera Mowry appeared on the OWN network this weekend with twin sister Tia in Oprah’s “Where Are They Now?” series, which airs Friday nights on the network. The show catches up with Oprah’s past guests and highlights where the celebrities are in their current lives, noting the ups and downs of success and fame.

    On this episode, Tamera discussed the overwhelming amount of internet racism she’s experienced since marrying Fox News correspondent Adam Housley in 2011, a topic that made her break into tears. “I get called ‘white man’s whore’,” Tamera admits in the video. “I’ve never experienced so much hate.”

    The backlash is overwhelming since Tamera herself came from a mixed household. “It’s very hard for me to think of it because I’m a product of it. My mom is a beautiful black woman and my dad is an amazing white man. I grew up seeing a family. So it’s very shocking to go through this.”

    Since the segment aired, fans have been taking to Twitter to defend Tamera and show their support.

    Robin Thicke Will Sit Down With Oprah

    Robin Thicke is in the spotlight again. And no, it’s not for another hit song, comparing to, “Blurred Lines.” Nope, Thicke isn’t wearing a black and white striped suit resembling Beetle Juice, dancing with Miley Cyrus either. He’s sitting down, getting personal and sharing it all with the queen of daytime television talk shows, the one and only, Oprah Winfrey.

    That’s right, Thicke will be sitting down with Winfrey on, “Oprah’s Next Chapter.” The singer will open up with Winfrey in the Oct. 13 interview.

    In the interview, Thicke will discuss the impact his hit “Blurred Lines” has had on his fans as well as on the media along with his VMA performance. He’ll also discuss his family life and collaborations with other well-known musicians.

    “Blurred Lines” topped the Billboard 200 for 12 weeks this summer, selling over 5.4 million downloads.

    Thicke’s sit-down interview will air Oct. 13 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on the OWN network.

  • Gillian Anderson Reveals that She is Bisexual

    In a recent interview with Out magazine, Gillian Anderson disclosed that she had intimate relationships with women. She started rebelling and having bi-sexual relations after moving from England to America. She said she indulged in other relationships that seemed mostly designed to shock people.

    Her dabbling includes a long-term relationship with another female while she was in high school. She went on to explain that she wasn’t a conformist as a kid: Her high school class voted her “Most Bizarre” and “Most Likely to Be Arrested.”

    Anderson says she has had more relationships with men than women and told Out, “If I had thought I was 100 percent gay, would it have been a different experience for me? “Would it have been a bigger deal if shame had been attached to it and all those things that become huge life-altering issues for youngsters in that situation? It’s possible that my attitude around it came, on some level, from knowing that I still liked boys.”

    Anderson has been divorced twice and has a 17-year-old daughter from her first marriage to producer Julian Ozanne. She has two young sons with her current partner.

  • Oprah’s Interview with Whitney Houston’s Family Broke the OWN Record with 3.5 Million Viewers

    Oprah Winfrey’s interview with Whitney Houston’s daughter (Bobbi Kristina), brother (Gary Houston), and sister-in-law and manger (Patricia Houston) on Sunday set an OWN record with over 3.5 million viewers. Winfrey’s new Own primetime series, Oprah’s Next Chapter, capitalized on Whitney’s demise and how the people closest to her wished her to be remembered. Prior to this exclusive interview, OWN’s 14-month run has never been able to capture so many viewers.

    Bobbi Kristina shared that she treasured the relationship that she had with her mother and said that her favorite memories of her mother were when she was on stage performing. Bobbi plans to carry on her mother’s legacy through song and says her mother has prepared her to rise as a star. While her mother has passed away, Bobbi admitted to feeling her mother’s spirit “pass through her” and she even feels that Whitney is trying to communicate with her.

    The interview also showed a powerful clip of Kevin Costner speaking at Whitney’s memorial about her fragile self-esteem. He said she always wondered if she was pretty or good enough, and while this helped her push through in the industry, he cited her insecurity as the reason for her final stumble. Bobbi also shared moments where her mother had exhibited a lack of confidence.

    Her family said that Whitney took it really hard when her voice began to weaken and she became depressed. Patricia said the siren started to make excuses for not being able to hit the high notes and really struggled with her emotions.

    Whitney’s family did not point a finger at ex-hubby Bobby Brown, despite the physical, verbal, and emotional abuse that was evident in their relationship. Apparently Bobbi and her father have a decent relationship and he has been reaching out to her throughout the mourning process.

    The family denied rumors that they had asked Bobby to not attend the service; in fact they say that he “was supposed to be there.” But Bobby was not present during the memorial; he visited the lifeless Whitney before the service began.

    The family was more appalled by a photo of Whitney dead in her coffin that was leaked and published by a tabloid. Her brother said that the act was plain “evil.”

    While Whitney’s family is saddened, they say Whitney’s mother is taking it the hardest. Her mother refused to comment and seemed to be in desperate need of closure. What is most haunting is that Gary said their mother predicted that Whitney would die young and become an angel.

    I am sure that more details about Whitney’s death and estranged dynamic with Bobby will unravel over the next few months.

    Oprah will also ask the family what they really thought about Bobbi.
