  • Bill O’Reilly Calls Vladimir Putin an Idiot for Endorsing Donald Trump

Bill O’Reilly had a field day on Thursday night’s O’Reilly Factor when he dissed Russia’s President Vladimir Putin.

Earlier on Thursday, Putin made news for unofficially endorsing Donald Trump in his bid for the Republican presidential ballot.

“He’s a really brilliant and talented person, without any doubt,” Putin said.
Bill O’Reilly spent the first part of his show exposing some of the reasons Donald Trump’s campaign has been met with so much success–after which he mocked Putin.

“By the way,” Bill O’Reilly said, “Trump apparently has made Putin his friend. Because idiot Putin today is going, “I love Donald Trump,” he doesn’t speak English, but in a Russian accent, that’s what he was saying. He loves Trump.”

Meanwhile Geraldo Rivera was poking fun at Bill O’Reilly’s rather bad Russian accent–which, for some reason, is bleeped out in the video clip.

“That’s a pretty lame accent,” Geraldo said, as O’Reilly continued on with his comments.

Also on Thursday, Bill O’Reilly called out Donald Trump for being too “thin-skinned.”

So does Bill O’Reilly support Donald Trump for the GOP nomination or not? As one reporter says, “It’s complicated.”

“Donald Trump understands the anger sweeping America and is tapping into that,” Bill O’Reilly said in recent days. “He is not concerned that much with policy– he is running on emotion. His strategy has been brilliant, but if you take what he says literally, he can be a frightening guy.”

“I see many of his statements as over-the-top rhetoric, designed to get him votes, not necessarily written-in-stone policy pronouncements,” he added. “Talking Points does not endorse candidates, does not root, does not promote.”

  • Kate Steinle: Brother Wants Trump To Stop “Sensationalizing” Her Death

Kate Steinle has a brother who is unhappy with Donald Trump.

Kate Steinle is the woman who was randomly shot to death as she walked with her family on a San Francisco pier by an illegal immigrant who had already been deported several times.

Donald Trump has repeatedly used the death of Kate Steinle to prove his controversial remarks about illegal immigrants not being the best that other countries have to offer.

However, Kate Steinle’s brother, Brad, is not very happy about it.

Kate Steinle’s brother told CNN, “Donald Trump talks about Kate Steinle like he knows her. I’ve never heard a word from his campaign manager, I’ve never heard a word from him. It’s disconcerting.”

He added, “I don’t want to be affiliated with someone who doesn’t have the common courtesy to reach out and ask about Kate, and our political views and what we want.”

Trump has latched on to the case, describing Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez as one of these unsavory types that cross the border and do harm to American citizens and has slammed San Francisco for being a so-called “sanctuary city”.

Kate Steinle’s brother, when asked if he felt his sister was being “used” by Trump, said, “In a way, yes.”

He added, “Sensationalizing it is not the route we would like to go. If you’re going to use somebody’s name and you’re going to sensationalize the death of a beautiful young lady, maybe you should call and talk to the family first and see what their views are.”

Brad added that Trump’s views on immigration were “not rational” and “not common sense.”

However, it seems Brad and Kate Steinle’s parents have a different view of the incident and wish for a different outcome.

Kate Steinle’s mom and dad, Liz Sullivan and Jim Steinle, were on The O’Reilly Factor Monday to discuss the outcome they wish to have for the horrible death of their daughter.

Jim Steinle said, “You can’t prepare for anything like this, but it was astonishing. And it is astonishing, and we are hoping to carry this forward. We’re hoping for some good to come out of all of this.”

Jim Steinle said that he would support Bill O’Reilly’s petition for “Kate’s Law”. In honor of Kate Steinle, the law would impose a five-year federal prison sentence on illegal immigrants who are deported and then re-enter the U.S. illegally.

He said, “We’re just a little tired of the finger-pointing and just want to see some action. And if ‘Kate’s Law’ saves one person, then it’s all for good.”

What do you think about Kate Steinle’s death? Do you think the parents have the right idea about supporting “Kate’s Law”?
