  • Kristen Wiig and Harry Styles: Dirty Dancing?

    Kristen Wiig and Harry Styles reportedly treated guests who attended the Saturday Night Live after party this past weekend to a dance extravaganza. The two most notably kicked up their heels to the Dirty Dancing theme song “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life.” UPI reports that the pair even danced on a table.

    Wiig played Styles–who is one-fifth of the popular British boy band One Direction–while she was a guest on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon earlier in 2014. Harry Styles is clearly a forgiving young man, because Kristen Wiig made it quite clear during her guest stint that she had little to no knowledge about the heart throbs or their music.

    Nick Simmons, son of rocker Gene Simmons, captured the SNL dance moves and posted them on Instagram. Even though Kristen Wiig didn’t know much about One Direction, it clearly didn’t prevent her from rocking out with Harry Styles.

    Nick captioned the clip, “So the kid from @onedirection and Kristen Wiig got on a table and danced tonight at the SNL after party. So that’s a thing.”

    That was certainly a thing, but no one would expect any less from Kristen Wiig. Prior to the after party she upstaged Amy Adams during her monologue, while she was hosting SNL.

    Don’t you just love how Kristen Wiig is the life of the party–no matter where she turns up?

  • Zayn Malik Sports Ponytail on ‘X Factor’ UK Finale

    Zayn Malik sported a slicked back ponytail as he and the rest of his One Direction band mates performed on the X Factor UK finale on Sunday. Zayn has been wearing his hair a variety of ways recently, but first wore his hair in a ponytail at the NRJ Music Awards in Cannes, France on Saturday. Apparently he liked it so much, he went for a repeat performance on Sunday. Did he receive a thumbs up or thumbs down for his new style?

    First off, it must be mentioned that no one should make fun of Zayn’s hair unless they want to bring Harry Styles into the conversation. That guy has some sort of deserted bird’s nest sitting atop his head. There’s no way Zayn Malik’s ponytail could look even half that bad.

    The Daily Mail actually reports that fans took to Zayn Malik’s new ‘do.

    “Zayn is the only male that can get away with his hair in a ponytail,” a source tells them.

    Simon Cowell lauded Zayn and the rest of One Direction at the X Factor finale, saying how proud he is of all they have accomplished. He didn’t mention Zayn Malik or Harry Styles’s hair, however.

    “I still can’t watch the moment when One Direction came third. I was so arrogant about the fact we were going to win,” he said. “Even though they’ve done well, I still would have liked for history to have said they won The X Factor.”

  • Rebecca Ferguson: X-Factor UK Star Talks Pregnancy

    Rebecca Ferguson is an X-Factor UK star who endured embarrassment and pain during her recent pregnancy. She is opening up for the first time about why.

    Hello! reports that Ferguson gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Arabella just two weeks ago, but she adds that her relationship with her baby’s father ended when she told him she was pregnant. That was when he announced that he already had another girlfriend.

    “On the outside everyone must have thought everything was rosy at home,” she said during her interview. “I kept a smile on my face and kept all my feelings inside because I had this awful feeling of shame, but I was heartbroken.

    “I was fuming when I found out, I was so angry. The way I was treated was wrong. I think some people think you’re devastated because you want the man, but it’s not that. It’s devastating for a woman because it’s a normal thing for your child to be wanted,” she said.

    But Rebecca, who once dated One Direction’s Zayn Malik, adds, she doesn’t harbor any bitterness or ill will against her ex, and she even wants to thank him for her ‘gift from God’.

    “I don’t hold any hate towards him,” she said. “He wasn’t ready to be a dad and that’s up to him. I’m not in his shoes and I can’t force him. I’m happy with his decision now and I wish him and his partner well.”

    Rather than viewing herself as a victim of misfortune, Rebecca Ferguson became proactive during her pregnancy instead. She set up a website for single mothers to chat with one another, noting that she needed that support herself, so she figured others did as well.

    Karl Dures, the father of Rebecca Ferguson’s two older children, came to her aid like a true gentleman, too. Even though the two are only involved in a platonic relationship these days, he has offered to raise her new baby as his own.

    “Karl has been a huge support, we’re really good friends. He was there for the birth and he has offered to adopt her and be her dad too. He has given her his name, which is lovely, so she will be the same as the other kids,” Rebecca said.

    Only in the UK will women find knights in shining armor. How wonderful for Rebecca Ferguson that she has this friend to help raise her daughter. Hopefully custody laws aren’t in the UK the way they are in America, however. Because here, if the baby’s new ‘father’ were to remarry, his new wife could have a hand in raising Arabella, too.

  • Louis Tomlinson Bashes Journalist Who ‘Said’ He’s Gay

    Louis Tomlinson is very unhappy with a journalist who reported about the One Direction singer, and insinuated he might be gay.

    The headline in question, which was published in The Telegraph, read “Louis Tomlinson supports gay Apple CEO Tim Cook–days after Harry Styles‘ comments on gender and sexuality.” It pictured Louis wearing an Apple t-shirt with the original logo on the front, which happens to be of a rainbow.

    The 1D singer subsequently bashed the journalist through a series of tweets–some of which he has since removed from his Twitter account.

    The journalist had plenty to say to Louis Tomlinson in response, however, and she didn’t take her posts down.

    It sort of sounds like Louis Tomlinson is the one in the wrong here. The journalist, Jenn Selby, makes a very strong point when she says that ‘being called ‘gay’ should never be insulting & that standing up for #LGBT rights is an admirable thing to do.’ Did the One Direction hunk actually hint in his missing tweets that being gay is wrong?

    And that second tweet is akin to his saying, ‘Let’s change the subject now.’

  • Danny DeVito, One Direction Make Wacky Music Video

    Ballerinas with umbrellas, sumo wrestlers in the desert, a misplaced marching band, Danny DeVito giving directorial directions to a boy band? It may sound like a Fellini movie, but it’s actually One Direction’s latest video for their newest release Steal My Girl.

    Several pictures hit the web a couple days ago of DeVito playing a director in the band’s music video. Yesterday, we got to see a bunch of exclusive behind-the-scene photos from the video’s promo shoot. The video was shot in the desert, just outside of Los Angeles. All the boys were present: Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, and Zayn Malik.

    The video for their new single Steal My Girl is in support of the band’s fourth studio album, which appropriately is named Four. The tune was co-written by Louis and Liam.

    Here’s a quick behind-the-scenes look at the video shoot.

    Ben Winston, who directed the video, said, “It’s quite an exciting video.” He added, “You should expect the unexpected on this one. It’s weird and wonderful.” Winston also directed two other One Direction videos, Best Song Ever and This Is Us.

    It certainly looks weird, wonderful, and definitely pretty wacky.

    The band’s last album, Midnight Memories, was the best selling album out of Britain in 2013. Four is set to drop on November 17.

  • Zayn Malik: One Direction Singer Gets Advice from Russell Brand

    Zayn Malik–One Direction singer and young hunk extraordinaire–had the opportunity to meet actor and comedian Russell Brand a couple of years back. Zayn shares some of that unusual meeting in the band’s new autobiography, Who We Are. It seems Russell Brand actually offered the 1D singer some birth control advice.

    According to a report from Billboard, Zayn Malik was a bit taken aback by the conversation.

    “Backstage at the Olympics was one of the maddest times I’ve had with the band,” Zayn says in the book. “These crazily famous people were coming up and talking to me. All my life I’d seen them on TV and here they were just chatting away to us.”

    Malik then recalls how Brand, who was also performing in the closing ceremony, came over to him. “Russell was brilliant. He was saying, ‘Your performance was sick.’ Then he started giving me family planning advice! I was like, ‘Russell, you shouldn’t be giving me that sort of advice!’ He was hilarious, a really nice guy.”

    Not many people can say Russell Brand gave them birth control advice–right? Of course not many people would want any kind of advice from the funny man. At least Zayn Malik can catalogue the conversation as among the more unusual he’s likely ever had.

    One Direction’s new book Who We Are hits bookstores on Thursday, September 25th. In it, Zayn Malik’s band mate Harry Styles even admits to a lack of confidence. Who’d have ever thunk that?

    “I’m naturally a fairly confident person in most situations, but not all,” said Styles in Who We Are. “At that point, any natural confidence I had was being taken over by nerves because back then I had no idea how to channel and control my anxiety.”

    Profound, Harry.

    Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan will release their fourth album–aptly titled Four–in November. A single from that album, ‘Steal My Girl,’ comes out on September 29th.

    Do you suppose Zayn Malik paid any heed to Russell Brand’s advice from two years ago? It doesn’t appear as though any of the One Direction boys has added ‘fatherhood’ to their current resumes.

  • Niall Horan: One Direction Hunk Enjoys 21st Birthday Bash

    Niall Horan of One Direction fame enjoyed a 21st birthday bash he threw in his honor on Monday evening. Even though the ‘Story of My Life’ singer’s birthday isn’t until September 13th, Niall wanted to celebrate before the band goes back on tour in the U.S. He threw his early party at the Shoreditch House in London so he could celebrate with some of his U.K. family members and friends before flying back to the U.S.

    Something that was immediately noticed at Niall’s party was that Louis Tomlinson was the only other member of One Direction in attendance, according to AZ Central. His girlfriend Eleanor Calder joined him. Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, and Liam Payne were reportedly nowhere to be seen.

    Niall’s party was replete with a hired presenter from the Shoreditch House. Laura Whitmore kept those at the party–and those not in attendance–apprised of the antics by posting to Instagram throughout the evening. She posted this shot at the start of the party, while guests wore masks of Niall Horan’s face.

    Niall Horan’s parents and his brother flew to London from Ireland to share in the celebration.

    On Sunday, Niall shared a couple of tweets about his party–making it very clear he had a wonderful time.

    Brother Greg Horan–who attended the party–also shared his sentiments about his brother via Twitter.

    While it certainly looks like Niall Horan had a great time at his birthday party, it likely has fans wondering why Harry Styles, Liam Payne, and Zayn Malik weren’t there, too. Perhaps the guys have another birthday bash planned for Niall once their tour is once again underway? It starts back up in Pasadena on September 12th.

  • Clint Eastwood Offers Harry Styles Fitness Tips

    Ever wonder where Clint Eastwood gets the energy to be such a prolific film director at 84-years-old? A lot of the credit has to go to the obvious fact that Eastwood keeps himself in tip-top shape. Now, Harry Styles of One Direction, is taking the actor/director’s advice and is practicing Krav Maga, which is a form of self-defense that was developed for the Israeli military.

    It was reported by The Daily Star that Eastwood told Styles that he would need to improve his physical fitness to make it as an actor in Hollywood. Eastwood then introduced the 20-year-old singer to Krav Maga, a reportedly exhausting exercise that combines boxing, wrestling, Savate, Wing Chun, Judo, Jujutsu, and Muay Thai.

    A source told The Daily Star, “Clint spoke to Harry about his future in Tinseltown. They discussed movie projects and then got on to the subject of achieving an action hero’s physique.” The source added, “Clint had plenty to say on what Harry should do if he ever wanted to be considered leading man material.”

    One Direction bandmates Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne are also reportedly on board with Krav Maga and are raving about the results.

    Styles was recently offered a part in the Harvey Weinstein project Tulip Fever, which stars Judi Dench, Zach Galifianakis, and Christoph Waltz. However, Styles had to turn down the role due to his touring schedule with One Direction. The part wound up going to Matthew Morrison (Glee).

    Despite being in his mid-80s, Eastwood continues to direct feature films at an abundant rate. In the past ten years alone, he has helmed ten films: American Sniper, Jersey Boys, J. Edgar, Hereafter, Invictus, Gran Torino, Changeling, Letters from Iwo Jima, Flags of Our Fathers, and Million Dollar Baby. He won the Academy Award for Best Director for Million Dollar Baby.

    Eastwood is currently receiving Oscar buzz for his latest directorial effort American Sniper, a war drama starring Bradley Cooper as Chris Kyle, a former Navy Seal who served in four combat tours in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Kyle was considered the best sniper in American history and wrote a book called American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History, which serves as the source material for Eastwood’s film. Kyle was killed by a fellow veteran on a shooting range in 2013.

    American Sniper will be in limited release in theaters on Christmas day 2014.

  • Niall Horan and Liam Payne: Cow Poop Takes Them Home

    Niall Horan and Liam Payne–both members of the internationally acclaimed boy band One Direction–both love the smell of cow poop. It seems whenever the two singers smell the fecal matter, it reminds them of home. No, Niall and Liam didn’t grow up inside of barns. It seems both guys were raised in the country and the smell of the farms evokes their nostalgic sides.

    Niall Horan was recently asked by a writer for Cosmopolitan what smell most reminded him of home.

    ”Cow poo,” he replied. ”I’m from the lake district of Ireland so there’s the smell of cows and sheep and fresh-cut grass.”

    ”I was going to say the same,” Liam Payne interjected. “We both live close to the countryside. Where I live there are farms and you can always smell…”

    One Direction actually launched their third fragrance in early August. Called ‘You & I,’ one can only hope that Niall Horan and Liam Payne didn’t lend their olfactory expertise to the creation of the new scent. It went on sale at Macy’s on August 25th. Fortunately ‘You & I’ has ‘notes of peony, orchid, musk, mango, grapefruit and peach blossom.’

    That’s so not like cow poop.

    Niall Horan recently defended the solidarity of One Direction, amidst rumors that the guys were disbanding and heading their separate ways.

    “We’re going to go as long as we can go, as long as people want us we will be here. None of that rumours business,” he told the media.

    One Direction just finished up a portion of their current tour and are going to have a bit of down time before they head out again. While on the road, Niall Horan made sure to honor Liam Payne on his 21st birthday.

    Hopefully Niall and Liam–along with Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik–enjoy their deserved down time. Perhaps Niall and Liam can visit a local farm and inhale the fresh smell of cow poop to ward off any homesickness they might be feeling.

  • Simon Cowell Ticks Off The Twitterverse By Predicting One Direction’s Demise

    Simon Cowell has got the Twitterverse in an uproar over his prediction that the British boy band, One Direction, will break up soon.

    Not sure what his beef is with the much-adored band, but he has the well-refined reputation of being a “professional hater” with the power to destroy a musician or a band with one little quip. It’s not hard to forget how the music mogul could squash the dreams of some budding singer on American Idol — and later on X Factor — with one remark.

    Cowell even mocked himself in a brief cameo in Scary Movie 3 as a harsh music critic, which ended with a crowd gunning him down.

    This does come as a shock, however, because the boys in the band owe it all to Cowell. He was the man who put the boy band together on X Factor and started their career.

    Cowell shared his views about a possible breakup to the Daily News.

    “Bands don’t stay together forever,” he reportedly said. “I think they will make at least two more albums together and they are in the middle of one right now. … No, I don’t think that is going to happen for a while. Eventually I am sure they all will.”

    He may have a point, especially with boy bands — New Kids on The Block and N’Sync did only last a few years — and there have been rumors that Harry Styles is working on a solo project.

    When the prediction rumors started circulating on Twitter, fans began to cry out their fury and indignation, using the hashtag #1DtoLiveOnForever.

    The band’s rep released a statement squashing the rumors.

    “There are no plans for Styles to release any solo music at this time, any writing that he is doing is for potential One Direction songs. It’s common knowledge that the boys write separately and bring to each other for the album,” said the rep.

    In July, Styles also addressed rumors of his going solo.

    “I’m 100 percent in this band. I still want to be touring with One Direction in ten years. I’ll be doing it until I’m old and people are telling me to stop.”

  • One Direction Once Again Coming to a Screaming Theater Near You

    One Direction fans can get their screams on once again — the Irish-British boy band is slated to release a new concert film in October.

    Arts Alliance, the film’s distributing company, announced on July 22 the One Direction: Where We Are — The Concert Film will be a 90-minute treat for fans that will feature interviews with band members and a live recording of a concert at San Siro stadium in Milan. The film will be shown on more than 3,000 screens around the world on Oct. 11 and 12.

    “This global and exclusive celebration is a chance for many to watch the tour for the first time, or to relive the spectacle with friends and get closer than ever before in true high definition and 5.1 surround sound,” said Arts Alliance on its website.

    “We intend this to be the first of many more record-breaking theatrical releases,” said Mark Foster, chief executive of Arts Alliance, in a statement.

    The band features one heartthrob after another, including Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson. Formed in 2010, the boys from across the pond have sold more than 91 million records.

    The first feature film, One Direction: This Is Us, was released last year. Directed by Morgan Spurlock of Super Size Me fame, the documentary has taken in more than $68 million worldwide, according to Box Office Mojo.

  • Taylor Swift Braces for ‘Ew!’ Appearance on ‘Tonight Show’ — Literally

    Taylor Swift got her dorky on for an appearance in the The Tonight Show skit Ew! with Jimmy Fallon.

    The 24-year-old singer and actress donned some braces, reading glasses and channeled goofy teen Natalie in a promo for the show.

    The Tonight Show released the promo Friday for Taylor’s upcoming appearance with Fallon on the show.

    “Hey Sara, it’s Natalie. Remember me? Our moms were best friends in college,” Natalie says in the clip, addressing Fallon’s character. “I’m really excited because my mom said we are going to come visit you and your mom and your dad. I heard that you have that television show called Ew! Maybe I can be on it.”

    Swift will appear on the NBC late night talk show on Wednesday, Aug. 13.

    Ew! is gaining popularity on the late night scene and on YouTube, especially with guest stars donning ridiculous outfits and channeling their inner silly teen girl. Here are a few appearances by other celebrities who’ve made it down into the basement of Ew!’s host, Sara (Fallon) — “that’s S-A-R-A with no H, cause H is Ew!”

  • Kate Gosselin and Steve Neild: Together at One Direction Concert

    Kate Gosselin and former bodyguard Steve Neild are supposedly ‘broken up’ since Steve’s wife put her foot down regarding their ‘relationship,’ however the two were spotted together once again this past weekend at a One Direction concert in New Jersey. Kate’s twin daughters Mady and Cara Gosselin, were seen at the concert, along with Neild and their mom.

    It wasn’t all that long ago that Steve Neild’s wife gave him an ultimatum and he left his post as Kate Gosselin’s personal and family body guard in an effort to patch things up with his own family. Wife Gina reportedly “told him his time with Kate as her bodyguard was making the family miserable and that he had to make a choice.”

    Kate and Steve were last spotted in public together back in March when they accompanied Mady and Cara to a Demi Lovato concert.

    The media learned about Kate Gosselin and Steve Neild at the One Direction concert this past weekend from innocent bystanders who noticed them and posted to Twitter. This one even managed to capture the concert-goers in a photo.

    Sources claim Steve Neild is still trying to work things out with his family, but is still friends with Kate Gosselin. Apparently neither Steve nor Kate showed anything deemed overtly affectionate toward one another during the One Direction concert, so maybe they really are behaving themselves. One has to wonder what Gina Neild thinks of these friendly get-togethers, however. Is she okay with this or did she not know about it until the media caught wind of it?

    Steve Neild has supposedly been the only consistent male figure in the lives of Kate Gosselin’s children for many years (what is Jon Gosselin–chopped liver?), therefore some believe he is there for their sake only.

    Do you think that’s the case or is that simply a bad excuse for a couple of adults who may have just gotten caught doing something they weren’t supposed to do?

  • Niall Horan: Why Was One Direction Member in Miley Cyrus’s Pants?

    Niall Horan–yes, the Niall Horan who, along with Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik comprise the boy band One Direction–was spotted earlier on Monday in Miley Cyrus’s pants. Why? That, it seems, is a question that might not have an answer.

    Shortly before One Direction went on stage in New Jersey on Monday, Niall Horan donned a pair of Miley Cyrus’s pants. They’re not actually Miley’s pants, however. They’re pants adorned with the ‘Wrecking Ball’ singer’s likeness–part of her merchandise line that goes on sale at her concerts. That said, why was Niall Horan wearing them?

    He not only wore them–he tweeted a photo of himself in them to Miley Cyrus herself–and even stuck his tongue out in true Miley Cyrus fashion.

    Miley–known for her crass language, and now for some really ugly pants–replied almost immediately to Niall Horan’s tweet.

    If you’re still waiting for an answer to the question, ‘Why was Niall Horan wearing Miley Cyrus’s pants?’ you might be a bit disappointed. It seems no one really knows why. One Direction is on their third stop on their North America tour. Miley Cyrus, coincidentally is on her third North American stop on her Bangerz concert tour.

    Does that have anything to do with Niall Horan and those ugly (sorry, Miley, but they’re hideous) pants?

    5 Seconds of Summer is opening up for One Direction. That means tweens at their appearances will be going even crazier than if only Harry, Liam, Zayn, Louis, and Niall were taking the stage. That said, no one really cares if Niall Horan wears Miley Cyrus’s ugly pants.

    Niall Horan: Four Years of One Direction

    Niall Horan recently reflected on four years as a member of One Direction. Along with Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, and Louis Tomlinson, he has been part of one of the most successful boy bands in decades. The band met on the U.K. version of The X Factor, and while they didn’t emerge as the season’s top act, they signed a record deal shortly thereafter, so they were winners in their own right.

    During an interview with MTV, Niall admitted that he and his fellow band members were feeling a bit sentimental about reaching their four-year milestone. He also admitted he went a bit crazy posting on Twitter as a result.

    Can you believe that four years have passed since Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik first appeared on the music scene as One Direction? Their first big hit, “What Makes You Beautiful,” still gets some air time even four years later.

    Amidst romance scandals and rumors of a split, One Direction is still going strong. It’s clear that Niall Horan is quite grateful for the life the band’s success has afforded him.

  • Ariana Grande Says Emotional Good-Bye to Grandfather on Twitter

    Ariana Grande has used her Instagram and Twitter feeds to craft what constitutes an emotional good-bye to her grandfather, who passed away on Tuesday.

    This morning Grande announced that her grandfather had lost his battle with cancer and thanked her fans for their support throughout his illness: “thank you for your continuous love & light over the past few weeks… we did lose my favorite person to ever exist yesterday, my grandpa.”

    The singer and Sam & Cat star pulled herself together long enough to appear on Good Morning America this morning alongside Ryan Seacrest. The two were promoting the upcoming iHeart Radio Festival at which Grande will perform among a line-up that includes Cold Play, One Direction, Paramore, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, and Usher.

    Grande looked like she was having a hard time keeping a smile on her face during the interview.

    Via Twitter, she told her fans that the “only reason I made this twelve hour trip is grandps told me he wanted me to always be professional & fulfill my business commitments.”

    Grande, a frequent tweeter who interacts heavily with her fans on the social network, has been keeping the world updated on the status of her grandfather’s health for a while now.

    Just before the July 4 holiday Grande flew from New York to her hometown of Boca Raton, Florida to be at her grandfather’s side.

    Harry Styles Is Not Leaving One Direction

    Harry Styles confirmed that he is not quitting the band to go solo. Styles recently teamed up with Irish rockers Kodaline and soon after, rumors began to swirl saying that Styles was quitting the band One Direction to pursue a solo career.

    “He just turned up to a show, and he likes our music. We had a bit of free time and so we went to the studio and wrote a song. It was good fun. [The track] could be on his album if he does something, but I don’t know. Nothing is set in stone,” said Kodaline’s manager.

    One Direction’s publicist and spokesperson released a statement about the rumors and said,

    “There are no plans for Harry to release any solo music at this time, any writing that he is doing is for potential One Direction songs. It’s common knowledge that the boys write separately and bring to each other for the album.”

    Several other band members have written and recorded music with other artists in the past.

    While Harry may not have any plans to go solo with his music, he does enjoy some alone time every now and then. He was recently spotted alone at Lake Como in Italy resting by the pool.

    Harry and some of the other band members may have their arguments and differences, but all of them know how important it is for the band to stay together.

    One Direction is in the midst of a European tour and Harry took advantage of a short break to enjoy Italy and get some much needed rest.

    It is likely that the band will split up some day soon, but luckily for One Direction fans, today is not the day.

  • Harry Styles Begs New Bride to Run Away With Him

    Harry Styles made a bold move by pleading with one of his fans to ditch her new husband of a few hours and run away with him instead — jokingly of course.

    The One Direction star apparently made a video for bride-to-be Tash Gershfield, asking her to run away with him instead of marrying fiancé James Tash.

    “I’m a massive One Direction fan, and Harry is my favorite and always has been,” said Gershfield. “During my husband James’ speech, he told me he wanted to put me through a little test to see how much I really loved him. He then got my friend Alex to project the video of Harry up on the wall for all 250 guests to see.”

    The young newlywed decided that, no matter how tempted she might be to run away with her celebrity crush, she would go through with marrying her guy.

    The video came about because a friend of the couple works with the band and knows what a huge fan the bride is of Styles. So he conspired with the singer to make the video.

    “[Harry] mentions in the video how annulments are cheap these days and easily done,” Tash said, “and [asks me] to meet him at Orli [a popular restaurant] in Borehamwood, which is in North London.”

    The singer told Tash he’d wait for her for three hours. “As this video was being played my jaw was on the floor, and all the guests were in shock too,” the newlywed told E! News. “Every single guest was shouting, ‘Go! Go!’ and then the microphone was handed to me…The first thing I said was simply, ‘Can you play that again?’”

    Tash said following the showing of the video at the reception, her hubby “asked what I wanted to do, stay or go. Eventually, I had to answer…Of course, knowing it was a little joke, I stayed and everyone cheered.”

  • One Direction Band Members Caught Smoking Weed

    The band One Direction has a pretty clean image and most of their fans are teenagers and pre-teens. The last thing anyone would expect from the band is drug usage.

    Two members, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik, were recently videotaped smoking weed. The band members were aware that they were being filmed and even joked about smoking a joint and taking other illegal substances.

    The band members did not think the video would be leaked and have not released a statement about their actions. The band’s spokesperson said, “This matter is in the hands of our lawyers.”

    The other band members, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, and Niall Horan, were not in the same vehicle as Tomlinson and Malik.

    While some fans took up for the band members, others expressed their anger and disappointment in the two singers.

    The band members were not doing anything illegal because they were in a country where smoking marijuana is legal, but that hasn’t stopped some fans and their parents from losing interest in One Direction.

    Taylor Swift Visits Providence Children’s Hospital Patients and Families

    Taylor Swift spent five hours with patients and their families at Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. She and her dad Scott Swift made what some are calling an impromptu visit completely unannounced–without any fanfare. There were no press releases preceding the visit and no entourage accompanying the popular country and pop singer.

    Taylor owns a cottage in Rhode Island and was supposedly just in the area when she popped in for the visit. Just a week ago she did the same in New York City, spending several hours at the New York Hospital Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. While that was a scheduled visit, she was only supposed to stay for an hour, but stayed for five instead.

    The Hasbro Children’s Hospital shared their excitement about Taylor Swifts’s visit on their Facebook page, along with some photos of the I Knew You Were Trouble singer.

    “It was such a special day for a lot of our kids, and we are so thankful to Taylor and her dad for choosing to spend their time with us and put smiles on so many faces,” a hospital spokesperson said.

    Taylor Swift is probably among the most made fun-of celebrities around. When she and One Direction’s Harry Styles split up she was poked fun of in the media and called an ‘ice queen virgin.’ Maybe other celebrities should look up to Taylor instead and learn a thing or two–about giving of oneself to those less fortune.

    Can you even imagine how thrilled the sick children in this Providence hospital–and their families, too–must have been when Taylor Swift spent several hours making the rounds there? She even visited kids on the med-psych unit.

    She’s definitely got the right idea about giving back–and very clearly has a huge heart, too.

  • Harry Styles Moving On From Kendall Jenner

    You would think after throwing your boyfriend a birthday bash for his 20th birthday your relationship would last a while. That was not the case with Kendall Jenner and Harry Styles.

    A little over a week ago Styles ended his three month relationship with Jenner, and Jenner is heartbroken.

    A Kardashian family friend exclusively told HollywoodLife.com, “Kendall is absolutely crushed that Harry ended their relationship. She’s heartbroken and leaning on her sisters for support. She didn’t think she’d fall so hard for him the first place. She wanted to take their relationship to the next level and he basically said he couldn’t give her what she wanted and he didn’t want to hurt her.”

    The reason Styles broke up with Jenner seems to be the singer’s busy schedule. At least that is what he told her.

    “Kendall had a gleam of hope, but she wasn’t his dream girl and his schedule was his out. He could have let it continue but it was his decision to move on,” said an insider.

    Maybe the busy schedule is true, since Styles is busy working on another album and Jenner is focusing on her modeling career. Said a source, “Kendall has been focusing on her modelling: And Harry’s preparing for work on the band’s fourth album, as well as their stadium tour. The reality is that with everything they both have going on, it’s impossible to sustain anything serious.”

    While Jenner may be moping around between modeling gigs because she got dumped, it looks like Styles may have already moved on.

    The One Direction singer was seen at a restaurant in California recently with two ladies, one of which closely resembled Jenner. While it isn’t clear if there is anything romantic between Styles and either (both) of the ladies, a source claims Styles is ready for a serious relationship.

    “He wants a serious girlfriend, but just can’t find anyone he feels can deal with the life that he leads right now,” said a source.
