Zayn Malik, formerly of One Direction fame, is rumored to be dating fashion model Gigi Hadid. The two have been spotted out on what seemed to be dates twice now, since she and Joe Jonas broke things off.
“They seem equally super into each other, texting each other all the time,” an insider tells Us. “They’ve only been hanging out a couple weeks.”
The source adds that Zayn Malik showed up to watch Gigi strut her stuff in her first-ever Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show earlier this month.
“He thinks she’s so hot. He takes interest in her shoots and videos she does. He thinks she’s sweet, too. She talks about her mom a lot and her family, and he likes that.”

The model, 20, and former One Direction hunk, 22, were spotted in West Hollywood last Sunday, after Hadid attended the 2015 American Music Awards.
“Gigi was leaving The Nice Guy,” a source previously told Us Weekly. “She walked down the street and jumped in the car where Zayn was waiting to pick her up.”

Now a source claims Zayn Malik is dating an American P.R. professional named Carlyn Bryan.
The young woman bears an uncanny resemblance to Perrie Edwards, don’t you think?
Another source says Zayn Malik cheated on Perrie Edwards with Carlyn Bryan, and that the two are not dating exclusively.
“That girl is just one of many girls that he’s hooking up with–he has a list of them. It’s hasn’t been going on a long time as far as I know, but there definitely wasn’t any overlap with Perrie, so she can breathe easy there,” the source tells Hollywood Life.
Perrie Edwards seems to be taking it all in stride, however. While some believe Zayn Malik is trying to make her jealous by posting this photo of a new woman, she simply doesn’t care.
“The photo just confirms everything she already thinks about Zayn. “‘Heartless’ is the first word that came to Perrie’s mind when she saw it. She thinks Zayn has stooped to an all new low by making such a public to do about this girl,” Hollywood Life reports.
It seems Zayn Malik wants to go solo all the way around. He left One Direction, and now he jumps from bed to bed with various women.

Members of One Direction are taking a break from the music scene in March to pursue solo paths. With that being said, it has been rumored recently, that 1D member, Harry Styles is aiming for Hollywood next year.
An article released by The Sun said that Styles has already prepared to move to Los Angeles. The news was confirmed by Lance Bass, former N’Sync member and a friend of Styles’. Bass revealed Styles bought a £2.6million house in Hollywood.
Another source revealed Styles’ goal for the coming year, “Harry has told his friends he wants to get into acting. He loves Los Angeles.”
According to The Sun, Harvey Weinstein, a US movie tycoon, has already expressed his support for Styles if he enters Hollywood. He even described the singer as “charismatic.”
“He came to our Oscars party last year and then I went out to lunch with him. I think the guy is a movie star. He doesn’t have to audition for me,” Weinstein told Bizaare earlier this year. The 1D singer turned down the movie role Weinstein offered because he had other commitment at the time.
One Direction will take a break after they release their fifth album and the members are set to work on their solo careers. The group‘s final show is slated on October 31 at Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield.
As for the other band members, Liam Payne wants to become a DJ and composer for other artists. He also expressed that he wants to spend more time with his family and girlfriend Sophia Smith.
Twenty-three-year-old Louis Tomlinson is going to be a father next year. He has also taken on a role for a talent search.
Niall Horan, 21, has already written a song with Justin Bieber.
Finally, Zayn Malik is set to launch his solo album next year.

Tyler the Creator, whose real name is Tyler Okonma, tweeted to Zayn Malik:

Within two days, Malik took Tyler up on his offer.

Perhaps Zayn Malik has not communicated with his management or other advisors about this collaboration. Last month, Tyler the Creator tweeted to his followers that Coralie Alison, the Director of Operations at Collective Shout, had managed to convince the Australian government to deny Tyler a visa due to his lyrics and other activities that glorify violence against women.
A spokesperson from the Department of Immigration and Border Protection in Australia said that while “the Australian Government supports freedom of speech… the exercise of this freedom involves a responsibility to avoid vilification of, inciting discord in, or representing a danger to, the Australian community.”
“In cases where a person is assessed as representing a risk that they may vilify or incite discord, or otherwise represent a danger to the Australian community, a person may be refused a visa.”
Zayn Malik may find himself running afoul of fans in Australia who have read about the beef between Tyler the Creator and Collective Shout. The organization fought to have the hip-hop artist barred from the country, building a case against him that appears to have convinced the Australian government that he is not someone they want visiting.
Tyler the Creator has received widespread media attention over the span of his career for misogynistic hate speech against women, as well as homophobia. He is renowned for his songs advocating rape and extreme violence against women, including murder, genital mutilation, stuffing them into car boots, trapping them in his basement, raping their corpses and burying their bodies.
A characteristic feature of his songs is retribution against women who he perceives have wronged him. For example, he sings about strangling and chopping up women who reject his sexual advances and raping their corpses.
The group listed several examples of Tyler’s lyrics, which seem a far cry from the safe radio-friendly material of One Direction.

Collective Shout summarized that Tyler the Creator posed a threat to women in Australia and should be barred. Zayn Malik has made no comment on these statements. Nor has he responded to a video that Collective Shout has spread around of a live performance in which Tyler the Creator viciously berated one of their activists, which they say led to death threats against her.
“We draw your attention to a previous Collective Shout campaign in June 2013 calling on the former Minister to revoke Tyler’s visa. As a result of our actions, Talitha Stone, a young activist who led our campaign, was subjected to multiple rape and death threats from Tyler’s fans, with the artist himself inciting violence against her on twitter and at his Sydney (all-ages) concert, where a young woman was also raped.”
In an appearance on Good Morning America on Wednesday, Tomlinson spoke on the news that broke several weeks ago. His comments came before the group performed on the morning news show.
It was ABC’s Michael Strahan, who got the singer to open up about fatherhood.
“Louis, from one father to another I want to congratulate you on your upcoming fatherhood. So how are you feeling?” asked Strahan.
Tomlinson looked as if that line of questioning about having a baby with stylist Briana Jungwirth came as a surprise and was cautious as he responded to Strahan’s question.
“Thank you, yeah,” Tomlinson said. “Obviously it’s a very exciting time, so I’m buzzing. Thank you.”
Wednesday’s response was the first time the singer said anything about the baby.

Briana Jungwirth is the young woman who is pregnant with One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson’s baby. Tomlinson recently sought advice on the unexpected, life changing matter from Simon Cowell.
“I said to him, ‘You man up,’” Cowell told The Sun of the advice he shared. “‘You’re fortunate because you’re in a position to be able to look after the baby and not worry too much about that.’”
Simon Cowell knows all too well how an unexpected pregnancy can turn into a blessing.
“But I also told him, ‘I’ve received bad calls in my life but this is not one of them,’” Cowell added. “This is your business but I’m here for you.’ He didn’t kill anyone. He got someone pregnant. It happens every day all over the world. Again, Louis has got great family around him and, look, it’s a plus, not a negative.”

In the July issue of Elle UK, Ellie Goulding says the rumors aren’t true.
“I did go on a few dates with Niall, but I was never in a relationship with Ed,” she explains. “I have absolutely no idea where that came from and why it was turned into such a big thing.
Ellie Goulding went on to blast the double standard within the music world of women being defined for those they are seen with or dating. She and Taylor Swift apparently discussed the topic quite recently.
“I find it so frustrating that female musicians are constantly defined by the men they have or haven’t dated. It’s something I’ve talked about with Taylor a lot. She definitely feels that. She gets bothered by it,” Goulding said.
“It’s like, you can be a great artist, you can write great songs, but the thing that everyone is going to talk about is some relationship they think you have had or not had. It’s definitely something we both think happens to female artists over male artists.’”
Ed Sheeran recently negated the rumors, too, when asked if his song, ‘Don’t,’ was inspired by Ellie Goulding having cheated on him with Niall Horan. He was asked, in fact, if he regretted letting that little tidbit of information slip during a prior interview.
“I never let it slip. What happened was one of the newspapers in England just printed that it was confirmed when it never was,” Ed Sheeran said. “We got in touch, and they took the story down. But obviously the damage had already been done by that point because every other newspaper picked up on it. So I never actually confirmed it.”
Zayn Malik announced less than a week ago that he was leaving One Direction behind. Now the former boy band member has released his first solo song.
‘I Won’t Mind’ came out on Monday–first on Soundcloud, then later on YouTube. It is a soft ballad featuring Zayn Malik’s vocals against a background of acoustic guitar.
A rep for Zayn Malik confirmed that yes, it is the former One Direction member, singing the song. The song is produced by Naughty Boy Music, and the company–known for working with music greats like Sam Smith–was accused of starting trouble with Zayn’s former One Direction mate Louis Tomlinson.
Naughty Boy raised Louis Tomlinson’s ire by retweeting a video that included the words, “Naughty Boy Saved My Life Zaughty.” It seems Louis took it as a reference to Zayn Malik having left One Direction.
Naughty Boy said the message wasn’t about Malik. That doesn’t necessarily ring true, however.

Zayn Malik, who broke the hearts of a slew of One Direction fans when he announced Wednesday that he would be leaving the British boy band, finally broke his silence over his decision to leave.
Rumors circulated that he quit after refusing to give up the partying; however, Zayn Malik said he left One Direction simply to pursue a solo career.
Zayn Malik told The Sun he already has a solo release planned, produced by Naughty Boy, who has worked with Rihanna and Jennifer Hudson.
Zayn Malik said the reaction to his departure has been “crazy and wild and a bit mad,” but says he wouldn’t change a thing.
“I’ve never felt more in control in my life,” said Zayn Malik. “And I feel like I’m doing what’s right – right by myself and right by the boys, so I feel good.”
Zayn Malik denied there was any lingering bitterness from his former One Direction buddies, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Moran.
“My band has been really supportive,” he said. “They’ve been cool about it. And they understand that, you know, [One Direction is] not real to me anymore.
Most importantly, Zayn Malik said he was much happier now because he is pursuing his own dreams and not those of others.
“I did try to do something that I wasn’t happy doing for a while, for the sake of other people’s happiness,” he said, noting that his only regret is the pain it has caused his One Direction fans.
“I feel like I’ve let the fans down but I can’t do this anymore,” Zayn Malik admitted. “It’s not that I’ve turned my back on them or anything, it’s just that I just can’t do that anymore because it’s not the real me.”

Louis Tomlinson, the eldest member of the boy band One Direction, and his girlfriend of four years, Eleanor Calder, have gone their separate ways.
“Louis and Eleanor split up two weeks ago,” a rep for One Direction said. “They have not announced this as they wanted some privacy during this time.”
Eleanor Calder has yet to publicly comment on the split, however it comes shortly after a newspaper photo showed a shirtless man presumed to be Louis Tomlinson, kissing another woman.
The Sun, a U.K. publication, claims the photo was taken at an ‘all night party’ in Bangkok, Thailand last week.

Whether due to recent reports of infidelity or he is just too young for the limelight, Zayn Malik bows out from 1D world tour and heads back to the U.K. to be with his family.
“Zayn is exhausted and just needs a break,” a reliable source tells People Magazine. “Out of everyone of the boys, he’s the one who struggles dealing with being in the spotlight the most. He can’t cope with the level of scrutiny he gets put under. He’s just 22.”
In a statement posted by the band’s rep on Twitter, Malik has apparently “been signed off with stress.” The rep also added that the 22-year-old will come home to his family in England who are really concerned for the star’s wellbeing.
Malik hit rock bottom earlier this week when photos surfaced on social media showing Malik getting a bit too friendly with another woman during a trip in Phuket, Thailand.
Star identifies the woman as “Lauren” who posted the photo to her Instagram account with the caption, “Partying with Zayn from One Direction last night.” Star also reported that Malik left with “Lauren” after partying at the Seduction nightclub.

I love my brother to death, and I do not want to lose him for anything, it hurts me to see him not feeling good. Zayn Malik has reportedly left the One Direction tour and has headed home to the UK. This report was confirmed on Thursday by Simon Jones–the UK rep for One Direction.
It seems “stress” is the reason being given for why Zayn Malik left Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan to perform the next three concert dates without him. Two of those events are in Japan, with the third taking place in Jakarta.
Most people are assuming that Zayn is under stress due to recent allegations he cheated on his fiancee, Perrie Edwards.

This sudden departure from One Direction no doubt has some fans wondering if Zayn Malik is leaving the band for good. Is that even a consideration? What would 1D be without Zayn?

Shailene Woodley may be a movie star, but she doesn’t know much about pop culture. Often the two go hand-in-hand, but definitely not for the Divergent: Insurgent star.
When Shailene Woodley was asked recently to give her best Kylie Jenner selfie face while on the red carpet at the film’s London premiere, she couldn’t do it. Why? Shailene Woodley didn’t know who Kylie Jenner was.
“I have no idea who that is,” she said. “I’m sorry!” she said.
The entire cast of Divergent: Insurgent was asked a bunch of pop culture questions while on the red carpet. In addition to the Kylie Jenner stumper, Shailene Woodley also failed at Mean Girls quotes and naming the members of the boy band One Direction. In fact, she couldn’t get any further than Harry Styles.
Does it surprise you that stars like Shailene Woodley don’t always spend their spare time reading gossip rags about the latest Keeping Up With the Kardashians foibles or flipping through fan magazines staring at pictures of Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, and Liam Payne? (They’re the other four members of One Direction, for those who are pop culture-challenged like Shailene.)
This is actually incredibly refreshing, and means Woodley, along with some of her cast mates, might have better things to do with their time than strictly adhering to some ridiculous Hollywood standards.
Shailene Woodley appears on the cover of the April issue of Elle magazine. Within its pages she talks about growing up, and how she certainly was blessed with a strong–but not always easy–foundation. She shared the following advice she received from her mother.
“One day I was having one of my teenage crises, when you think everything’s falling apart—your estrogen and progesterone are freaking out. And she said, ‘Shai, the most important thing in life is self-love. You’ve gotta take care of yourself. You’ve got to take care of yourself, and you gotta live from your deep heart,’” she said.
Maybe her growing up years played a pivotal role in Shailene Woodley being so sure of herself she can star in hit Hollywood films without feeling the need to conform to the stereotype that often accompanies her chosen path. Maybe that’s why she doesn’t know–and likely doesn’t care–about people like Kylie Jenner and bands like One Direction.
Carrie Underwood is pregnant with her first baby, but that hasn’t kept her from making new music, and sharing that music with her fans. Underwood released a new music video for ‘Little Toy Guns’ with her fans last week.
‘Little Toy Guns’ is about how words can deeply wound children. Carrie Underwood talked about its meaning during a recent interview.
“It’s about words. It’s about a child hearing her parents fighting,” Underwood explained. “Even at a young age she realizes how much they hurt. And she wishes they were plastic and fake, like toys, and they didn’t actually cause any damage.”
The video shows a child sitting in her room by herself as she hears her mother screaming at her father.
“What do you have to say for yourself? Do you even care? It makes me sick to my stomach. I can’t believe I married you,” the wife screams at her husband.
The music video premiered on Friday via Carried Underwood’s Facebook page.
In true Carrie Underwood fashion, the emotion in this new music video runs as high as her singing talent.
In other Carrie Underwood news, the country singer appeared on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, helping perform Queen’s ‘We Are the Champions’ along with Fallon, The Roots, Sam Smith, Ariana Grande, Blake Shelton, Usher, Meghan Trainor, One Direction, and Christina Aguilera. The a cappella version was re-written in congratulations to the New England Patriots for winning the Super Bowl on Sunday.

Meghan Trainor has knocked Taylor Swift out of the number one spot on the Billboard chart–a spot the ‘Shake It Off’ singer has held for 13 weeks–with the debut of her first album, ‘Title.’ The Artist 100 is the first weekly ranking dedicated to measuring artist activity across Billboard’s most influential charts.
According toBillboard, “this includes the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart, Top Album Sales, and the Social 50. The Artist 100 blends data measuring album and track sales, radio airplay, streaming and social media fan interaction to provide a weekly multi-dimensional ranking of artist popularity.”
It should be noted, however, that Meghan Trainor beat out Taylor Swift by a narrow margin.
‘Title’ is now said to be the strongest debut for a female pop artist since 2009, when the first album by Susan Boyle hit the Billboard charts.
Meghan Trainor, who is just 21, was recognized for her musical skills at an early age. Her official career was launched just last year, however, when ‘All About That Bass’ became a global sensation–going viral at first on YouTube.
In other Meghan Trainor news, the singer admitted recently that she and Harry Styles of One Direction recently collaborated on a love song. She chatted with Nick Grimshaw at BBC 1 on Tuesday about what may be to come.
“I wrote a song with Harry. It was unbelievable. He’s a very, very talented songwriter, I was very impressed. I was worried he’d just be a 20-year-old boy so I walked in with a prepared verse and chorus. He gave me very poetic, mature lyrics,” she said. “I was like, ‘Well, damn, Harry, you know what love is.’”
Trainor didn’t share word of when, where–or even if–the track will be released.
Right now Meghan Trainor is no doubt reeling in the sheer joy of ‘Title’ having debuted at the number one Billboard spot. How do you suppose Taylor Swift is feeling about that?
Jenny McCarthy and Ryan Seacrest will once again host Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve tonight from Times Square in the tradition of the late, great Dick Clark. Seacrest will preside over the actual countdown to the ball drop in Times Square, while Jenny McCarthy will chat with people on the ground from all around the packed streets.
Billboard magazine caught up with the pair earlier this week, and asked them what is the strangest sight they’ve ever witnessed on New Year’s Eve. Both immediately agreed it was nude people.
“Usually the naked people,” Jenny McCarthy answered.
“Naked people are always crazy, especially when it’s zero degrees,” Ryan Seacrest added.
“And you know that they’re not drinking, because you can’t really drink out there. So, they’re being nuts sober!” McCarthy said.
“They’re having much more fun in real life,” Seacrest said.
Can you imagine being naked and running around in the freezing cold weather that typically graces New York City on New Year’s Eve? To many, just standing out there in a warm jacket, mittens, and a hat seems insane. Once again this year the temperature is plummeting. Even though the actual temperature reading may be in the 20s, the wind chill is expected to hit the very low teens. That’s cold enough for certain body parts to very quickly become frostbitten if not covered up quickly–just a warning for anyone thinking of running around naked tonight in Times Square.
If you do opt to remove your clothes and take a jaunt through Times Square, at least catch some of the amazing acts that will be on hand. Taylor Swift, Florida Georgia Line, and Idina Menzel will all be performing in New York. If you’re naked in California, it won’t be quite so bad. You’ll get to see One Direction, Iggy Azalea, Meghan Trainor and Charli XCX. And you won’t freeze off any of your body parts.

Niall Horan received quite an honor from his hometown while he was back there visiting for Christmas. The town of Mullingar, Ireland presented the One Direction heart throb with a lifetime membership at its golf club.
Horan has golfed at the club since he was a young boy. He was definitely humbled by the town’s generous gift.
The ‘Story of My Life‘ singer shared his excitement–and his thanks–via Twitter after he finished playing a round of golf.

Given the three tweets that Niall Horan shared, it’s abundantly clear he was overwhelmed by the town’s gift. Do you suppose at some point he will show up to play a round or two with Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, and Liam Payne? That’s likely not the case. Niall Horan’s hometown has supported him wholeheartedly ever since he became a star. Do you suppose they saw him dance in his underwear recently? A Vine that was released prior to a Christmas show in which One Direction starred showed Niall dancing in his tightie whities.
