  • Loch Ness Monster Reportedly Seen In England

The Loch Ness Monster, also known as Nessie, has been a legend in Scotland for hundreds of years.

There have been hundreds, if not thousands, of sightings of Nessie over the years, with pictures and videos as supposed evidence.

The sea monster is said to call Scotland’s Loch Ness home, however it was recently spotted over a hundred miles away in England.

24-year-old Ellie Williams of London recently set up a camera on a tripod at Windermere lake in hopes of capturing some of the park’s wildlife. It wasn’t until later, when Williams, looked through the photographs, that she noticed something strange in the water.

Williams isn’t convinced that the figure was Nessie, and said it very well could have been a swan or a goose. “When I reviewed all the images I thought it might have been a swan or a goose, as I was looking at the image on my smartphone,” Williams told The Mirror.

“I’m open to suggestions as to what the creature could be – I’m just glad I put the camera in the right place at the right time,” she added.

This is not the first sighting of something in Windermere. There have been other sightings of a monster, dubbed Bownessie, throughout the years, with the first being in 2006. This monster is said to be a snake-like creature with humps that moves through the water.

  • Loch Ness Monster Allegedly Spotted In England

Over the years many people have claimed to have spotted the Loch Ness Monster in Scotland.

There have been numerous photos and videos of the sightings and just as many eyewitness accounts.

The Loch Ness Monster was recently spotted again, but this time the alleged sighting took place in England, nearly 150 miles from Scotland’s Loch Ness, where the monster is said to call home.

Ellie Williams claims to have captured photos of an aquatic creature that looks very much like the Loch Ness Monster. Williams is a photographer who was taking photos of England’s Lake Windermere and had turned her camera on automatic in order to capture images of the lake throughout the day.

It wasn’t until Williams was looking through the images that she realized that she had photographed something interesting.

There appears to be a large creature in the lake and it clearly moved throughout the photos.

“When I reviewed all the images I thought it might have been a swan or a goose, as I was looking at the image on my smartphone,” Williams told The Mirror. “I’m open to suggestions as to what the creature could be – I’m just glad I put the camera in the right place at the right time.”

Of course, there is no way of knowing if the creature Williams caught on camera is really a creature similar to the Loch Ness Monster or just a trick of the camera, but Williams says that she did not alter or edit the images in any way.

Other animals or creatures resembling the Loch Ness Monster have also been spotted in England’s lake district over the years, with the first sighting occurring in 2006.

England’s version of the Loch Ness Monster even has its own name, “Bownessie,” and also has its own Twitter account.

The creature is also considered a local mascot of the area.

  • Loch Ness Monster Captured On Apple Maps

Is the Loch Ness Monster real? This question has been debated for years after many people have captured pictures claiming to have seen the famous Nessie.

Almost all of these pictures have been disproven … until now.

A new picture, captured by one of Apple Maps’ satellites, shows a shadowy figure in the depths of the North End of Loch Ness in Scotland. The figure is approximately 100ft long, and seems to have two large flippers moving it through the water.

The image was spotted by two individuals last year as they were searching through Apple Maps on their smart phone app. Andrew Dixon, one of the men who first noticed the picture said: “It was a total fluke that I found it. I was looking at satellite images of my town and then just thought I’d have a look at Loch Ness. The first thing that came into my head when I saw it was, ‘That’s the Loch Ness Monster.’ It was the shape of it, I thought it had to be something more than a shadow.”

Dixon then alerted the Official Loch Ness Monster Fan Club, who have since been studying the picture, trying to determine if it is actually shows Nessie. After six months, the club still has no other explanation. Gary Campbell, the club president, said that the image “most likely” shows proof of Nessie.

“It looks like a boat wake, but the boat is missing,” Campbell said. “You can see some boats moored at the shore, but there isn’t one here. We’ve shown it to boat experts and they don’t know what it is. Whatever this is, it is under the water and heading south, so unless there have been secret submarine trials going on in the loch, the size of the object would make it likely to be Nessie.”

  • Loch Ness Monster ‘Found’ on Satellite Image

OK Nessie lovers, this may be the day you have been waiting for.

Since the sixth century, the legend of the Loch Ness Monster has continued to fuel the imagination of, well, just about everyone. A recent satellite image is confounding scientists and giving fresh hope to believers of the elusive Scottish sea creature.

The image was taken by an Apple Map’s satellite and shows a shadowy form of around 100 feet in length the waters of the Loch Ness.

“We’ve been looking at it for a long time trying to work out exactly what it is,” Gary Campbell, president of the Official Loch Ness Monster Fan Club said.

“It looks like a boat wake, but the boat is missing. We’ve shown it to boat experts and they don’t know what it is.”

The club spent six months studying the image and finding no other obvious explanation, concluded the image is that of the Loch Ness Monster.

“Whatever this is, it is under water and heading south, so unless there have been secret submarine trials going on in the loch, the size of the object would make it likely to be Nessie,” Campbell said.

One of the spotters, 26-year old Andrew Dixon from Darlington, said: “It was a total fluke that I found it. I was looking at satellite images of my town and then just thought I’d have a look at Loch Ness. The first thing that came into my head when I saw it was, ‘That’s the Loch Ness Monster‘.”

This supposed sighting is the first reported in 18 months, the longest that Nessie has been missing since 1925. All three sightings of the monster in 2013 were found to be fake – one was a duck, one was a wave and one wasn’t even taken at Loch Ness.

    LOL!

What do you think? Is it Nessie? Here is what some are saying about the finding on Twitter.
