Vanessa Hudgens, Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman, and Lucas Grabeel joined Ashley Tisdale to film the upcoming televised special. Zac Efron wasn’t available to join the rest of the High School Musical gang, but will appear during the special via a pre-recorded message to fans.

“Nobody thought it was going to be as successful as it was,” Ashley Tisdale said of HSM. “It was really, purely because of the fans that it was that successful and the fact that they’ve supported us throughout the years has been amazing.”

While chatting with ET, Ashley Tisdale played a game of High School Musical Graduation Superlatives. See if you agree with her answers.

Most likely to win an Oscar: Tisdale gave this one to Zac Efron.

Most likely to have kids: “Let’s not [say] me… I’m not having kids any time soon,” Ashley Tisdale laughed. “She’s going to hate me that I’m saying this right now [but] the pressure is on Monique!”

Most likely to coordinate a reunion: Ashley laid claim to this one.

Are you excited to learn Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Hudgens, and more are starring in a High School Musical reunion? On the same note, who’s bummed that Zac Efron will only appear via a pre-recorded message?

The High School Musical 10-year reunion airs Wednesday night, January 20, on The Disney Channel.

Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale: “High School Musical” Gang Together for Halloween

Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale got together over the Halloween weekend to celebrate with other High School Musical alum. The group–that also included Corbin Bleu and Monique Coleman–all attended the same Halloween party on Saturday night.

High School Musical dancer Jason Williams shared a photo of the fun on Instagram.

    “The crew at @vanessahudgens amazing Halloween party last night! #highschoolMusical #Reunion!!!! #squad #squadgoals #Halloween #hollywood #wildcats ?” he captioned it.

Vanessa Hudgens dressed up as Alice from Alice in Wonderland for Halloween, while Ashley Tisdale was the Queen of Hearts. Corbin Bleu was Lenny Kravitz and Monique Coleman channeled Dionne from Clueless.

“In Wonderland with my woes ????,” Monique Coleman captioned a pic of her with her High School Musical cronies.

“Last night in Wonderland….,” Ashley Tisdale captioned this shot of her with Vanessa Hudgens and the gang.

Even though it’s been nine years since the first High School Musical’s premiere, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Zac Efron, and more are known for staying in close contact with one another. This past summer they got together to celebrate Kenny Ortega’s Disney Channel movie Descendants.

Were you a High School Musical fan? Do you love that Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Monique Coleman, and more celebrated Halloween together this weekend? It’s like the old gang hasn’t changed–even though they’ve grown a little older.

  • High School Musical Reunion Benefiting Charity

It’s been on the tip of everyone’s tongues lately. Will High School Musical ever have a reunion? Well, it’s been five years since the last movie and it seems the gang is ready to get back together for something bigger than a third movie.

The Wildcats are getting back together alright, but it’s not for yet another film installment. It seems Vanessa Hudgens, along with Ashely Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Lucas Grabeel, Kaycee Stroh, Olesya Rulin and director Kenny Ortega will reunite next month at party benefiting Monique Coleman’s GimmeMo’ foundation.

The cast is reuniting to support cast member Monique Coleman‘s GimmeMo’ Foundation which works to improve the lives of young people around the world. A donation of $3 will earn a fan entry into a sweepstakes to win a trip to Los Angeles to attend the V.I.P. cast party.

The news first made headlines from Coleman’s tweet about the reunion.

Immediately following, cast members fired back with excited tweets.

What about hunky Zac Efron? Unfortunately, he will not be making it to the get together.
