  • Katie Holmes, Tom Cruise: She’s Angry He Isn’t Part of Suri Cruise’s Life

Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise aren’t on good terms. In fact, it’s reported that the two don’t speak at all–not even on matters regarding their daughter, Suri Cruise. What’s with that?

TMZ reports that Katie Holmes and the Mission Impossible 5 star handle all means of co-parenting through intermediaries. Tom Cruise hasn’t even seen Suri in months, because he’s been in London shooting his latest film.

Katie Holmes has, of course, been front and center in the media of late, with some outlets reporting she’s involved in a relationship with actor Jamie Foxx. Tom Cruise reportedly doesn’t like Katie dating, as he fears the wrong man might be a bad influence on Suri. Cruise is a member of the Church of Scientology. Do you suppose he has hopes of pairing Suri Cruise with a fellow Scientologist when she’s older? Katie Holmes would likely lay down her life before she’d allow her daughter to go that route.

Rumors of a relationship between Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have run rampant for quite some time now, and it’s really none of Tom Cruise’s business who his ex-wife dates. Surely she wouldn’t do anything to put Suri in harm’s way.

Tom Cruise is supposed to return to L.A. very soon, and will reportedly spend some time with Suri Cruise then. Do you think little Suri will get the third degree from her famous dad about whether or not her mom is seeing Jamie Foxx?

The saddest part of the lack of communication between Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise is that it likely impacts their daughter. Children sense far more than most adults give them credit for, and this could one day come to an explosive climax. Do you foresee Suri staying with Katie Holmes throughout her young adult years or will she opt to spend some time with Tom Cruise once she’s old enough to have a say?

  • Paula Patton: Why She’s Still Thankful Despite Divorce From Robin Thicke

Paula Patton recently appeared on Good Morning America to talk about her new role as a brand ambassador for Ellen Tracy. However, the conversation also touched on her split with RnB singer Robin Thicke. According to Patton, she is doing well despite the separation being challenging. “I feel like everything happens for a reason,” she says. “And then you have to move on and grow from there.” The separation, which Patton and Thicke announced last year, is especially hard since they’ve been married for nine years and they were even high school sweethearts. However, Thicke’s addiction to drugs and alcohol became a sore point in their marriage.

Patton is currently asking for joint custody over their four-year-old son, Julian. “The thing is, you can’t wallow in sadness or stay in bed when you have a child. And they’re so full of life and wonder. And he brings me so much joy,” she said in the interview. “Usually the positive in your life outweighs that and you have to just be thankful for what you have right now.”

Not only is Thicke going through a divorce, he’s also embroiled in a trial against Marvin Gaye’s estate over the song, “Blurred Lines”, and its similarities with Gaye’s “Got To Give It Up”. The timing of Paula’s appearance on Good Morning America coincides with the closing arguments for the “Blurred Lines” trial.

It was recently revealed that Patton will not be joining the cast of Mission Impossible 5 and that the female lead for the film will played by Rebecca Ferguson of Hercules fame. According to Mission Impossible 5 director Christopher McQuarrie, Patton’s busy schedule is the reason she won’t be reprising her role from Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol.

Paula Patton is set to play a character in the film adaptation of the popular videogame Warcraft.

  • Paula Patton Thriving Since Split from Robin Thicke

Paula Patton has been one busy lady since her split from ‘Blurred Lines’ singer Robin Thicke. Rumored to have recently been filming Mission Impossible 5 with Tom Cruise, fans will be thrilled if she reprises her role as Jane Carter.

“She [Patton] was a great presence in the last movie [Ghost Protocol], and it would be a true shame for her to be the only one of the main stars not to come back,” CinemaBlend reports.

Paula Patton fans can definitely catch the actress in the upcoming film Warcraft, however–even though they have more than a year’s wait. The fantasy film is based on the Warcraft video game series, in which Paula plays the role of Garona–a survivor ‘caught between the Alliance and the Horde.’

Paula announced the Golden Globe nominations this week, along with Kate Beckinsale.

Patton’s ex, Robin Thicke, isn’t experiencing quite the level of busyness and success that Paula is enjoying these days. In fact, his album–Paula–named after Patton in his attempt to woo her back–is considered a flop. Entertainment Weekly has dubbed it the ‘weirdest album of the year.’

‘The album’s perplexing qualities are handily summed up in the ‘Get Her Back’ video, where Thicke pleads for the forgiveness of a wife who won’t even speak to him while simultaneously getting felt up by models,’ a recent review reads.

It sounds like Paula Patton and Robin Thicke are at completely opposite ends of the entertainment spectrum right now–with her achieving some success while he is floundering in an attempt to hold on to fans. (Hopefully he has finally given up on getting Paula back.) Both are rumored to have moved on in the relationship department–and that’s probably a very good thing.
