  • ’19 Kids and Counting’ Has Jill Duggar Had That Baby Yet?

19 Kids and Counting star Jill Duggar has seemingly been pregnant forever, patiently counting down the days until Baby Dilly–what they’ve called their unborn son since learning his gender–arrives. Now Jill is well beyond a week overdue, and Baby Dilly hasn’t yet made his entrance into the world.

Derick Dillard–Jill Duggar’s husband–got 19 Kids and Counting fans overly excited on Friday when he both tweeted and blogged about his wife’s labor pains. Jill wound up having only Braxton Hicks contractions, and they never transitioned into real labor.

Ever the optimist, however, Derick then said that perhaps they’d have an Easter baby. His faith remained strong. And since the 19 Kids and Counting family are such devout Christians, an Easter baby would be just perfect–right?

“Still waiting to meet our little guy. Maybe we’ll have an Easter baby! #jillmdillard #babydilly,” he captioned his most recent photo of Jill Duggar, holding a small chalkboard that reads, ’41 weeks, 4 days.’

Now Easter has come and gone and no official word has emerged saying Baby Dilly has arrived. As a matter of fact, no unofficial word has emerged either.

That can only mean one of two things. Either Jill Duggar is in labor, and the baby has yet to be born, or Derick Dillard will soon post another picture of his wife–giant belly front and center–and caption it will yet another hopeful message.

Jessa Duggar and her hubby Ben Seewald celebrated their first five months of marriage amidst the hype of Baby Dilly’s arrival.

There’s no question about it. Baby Dilly has to arrive. There’s no question about if–merely a question about when. And now that the hype about his birth has reached a giant peak and started to ease up a bit, might the 19 Kids and Counting family’s fourth grandchild arrive akin to that boy who cried wolf? Will fans grow tired of waiting and stop speculating?

    Probably not.

The number of fans who following 19 Kids and Counting is huge, and surely many have birthed babies and understand the unpredictability that accompanies the process. Jill Duggar is studying to be a midwife, so likely isn’t surprised in the least that their baby has yet to arrive. She’s all set for mom, Michelle Duggar–as well as Derick Dillard’s mom, too–to be present at the birth. The TLC cameras will reportedly be there, too.

Do you think somewhere there is a betting pool on what day and what time Baby Dilly will arrive? Surely that goes completely against the grain of what the 19 Kids and Counting family believes in, but that doesn’t typically matter to outsiders.

If you’re a betting person, what’s your best guess as to when Jill Duggar Dillard will give birth?

  • Michelle Duggar to Attend Jill Duggar’s Home Birth

Michelle Duggar, matriarch of the 19 Kids and Counting clan will reportedly be present when daughter Jill Duggar’s home birth. Jill’s husband Derick Dillard had fans convinced Jill was in labor over the weekend, but thus far nothing more than Braxton Hicks contractions have been confirmed.

Jill Duggar is studying to be a midwife and will be attended by one during her labor and delivery, as well as by Michelle Duggar and Derick Dillard’s mom. It’s uncertain what the two moms’ roles will be, but they will be present in some capacity.

Jill Duggar is more than a week overdue, and Derick said on Saturday that he was hoping for an Easter baby.

“Still waiting to meet our little guy. Maybe we’ll have an Easter baby! #jillmdillard #babydilly,” he captioned the following photo of Jill Duggar, holding a small chalkboard that reads, ’41 weeks, 4 days.’

Michelle Duggar is, of course, no stranger to labor and delivery. Being the mom of 19, and also having lost a baby–Jubilee Shalom Duggar–she knows the ins and outs of birthing a child.

It will likely be very comforting for Jill Duggar to have Michelle Duggar present when she has Baby Dilly–what they have referred to their unborn baby as. Some speculate he may be named Isaiah when he is born.

Do you think Jill Duggar will have that Easter baby?

How wonderful that Michelle Duggar will get to be part of their big day.

  • Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard: Will ’19 Kids and Counting’ Stars Have Easter Baby?

Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard haven’t met ‘Baby Dilly’ yet. The 19 Kids and Counting stars are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their little bundle of joy–especially since Derick got fans all excited on Friday, posting that the baby was on his way.

Alas, it wound up being Braxton Hicks contractions that never evolved into real labor, so Jill Duggar is still pregnant.

Now the 19 Kids and Counting couple is hoping for an Easter baby.

On Saturday, Derick Dillard took yet another picture of his wife’s growing baby bump. He has done this weekly since discovering they were expecting.

“Still waiting to meet our little guy. Maybe we’ll have an Easter baby! #jillmdillard #babydilly,” he captioned the photo of Jill Duggar, holding a small chalkboard that reads, ’41 weeks, 4 days.’

Jill and Derick are no doubt becoming a bit frustrated by now. They rely strongly on their Christian faith, however, and since Easter is a day of miracles, they are likely holding out hope that they’ll experience the miracle of birth on Sunday as well.

Jill Duggar is studying to be a midwife, so she knows all too well that this baby will come–but only when he is good and ready to make his appearance.

TLC will be airing the birth during a special episode of 19 Kids and Counting on May 5th. Of course by then, most fans will have the scoop as to when the baby was born and what Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard decided to name ‘Baby Dilly.’

  • Jill Duggar: ’19 Kids and Counting’ Star Hits March 24th Due Date, No ‘Baby Dilly’ Yet

Jill Duggar of 19 Kid and Counting fame is pregnant, and today–March 24th–is her due date. ‘Baby Dilly,’ as she and hubby Derick Dillard refer to their unborn baby boy, hasn’t arrived yet, but Jill Duggar knows he’ll come on his own time and not theirs.

Jill Duggar Dillard recently told People magazine that she believes the baby will come late.

“If you have it in your head that way, you won’t get discouraged,” she explains. “When everyone else is asking you, ‘When are you going to have that baby?’ The baby will come when the baby comes.”

That’s a great attitude for a first time mom. Many are discouraged when their due date hits and they haven’t already delivered their baby and brought him or her home. First-time babies often arrive a bit later than predicted, and there isn’t much that can be done to speed the process–unless a doctor deems medical intervention is necessary.

That definitely isn’t the case for Jill Duggar, and besides, she already marked what she predicts will be ‘Baby Dilly’s’ actual birthday anyway.

“I have told myself, ‘First-time moms often go a week and a half over, so didn’t get discouraged,” she says.

Jill thinks she’ll give birth on April 5th.

Jill Duggar has a bit more of an inside scoop than many first time mothers. Since she is studying to become a midwife, Jill has sat with mothers during their labor and delivered their babies.

Derick Dillard is taking good care of his wife as they count down the days until their blessed arrival.

“He’s doing amazing. He gave me a foot massage and painted my nails last night…He asked me what color I wanted, and we decided on pink nails. He picked out a bright pink and he said, ‘Here we go–this will be your labor color,’” Jill says.

Derick plans to serve as Jill Duggar’s coach during labor and delivery, too.

“Derick will be my coach as I like to say,” she says, “so [he’ll be] helping me through the process.”

The couple is using the Bradley method of childbirth.

“[It’s] husband-coached childbirth,” Jill explained, “so that he can know how to help me in labor and in pregnancy—and that’s what I want the most, is [for] him to be able to know what to do when that comes.”

Grandparents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are no doubt counting the days right along with Jill and Derick. This will be the fourth grandchild for the 19 Kids and Counting patriarch and matriarch. Son Josh Duggar and his wife Anna are expecting their fourth child, but he or she won’t be born until after Jill Duggar gives birth.

Are you counting the days as well until Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard welcome ‘Baby Dilly’ into their lives? What day do you predict Jill will give birth?

  • Jill Duggar: 19 Kids and Counting Star Delivers Baby Boy

Jill Duggar of 19 Kids and Counting fame delivered a precious baby boy, and she appears online in a new photo holding the beautiful bundle of joy. This photo has caused quite a stir, too, as fans are wondering if Jill Duggar had her baby early. She didn’t.

You see, Jill Duggar is studying to be a midwife, and this baby boy she delivered is just one of the babies she has helped bring into the world as part of her training.

“So blessed to help deliver this little guy at home this morning, just 2 weeks away from my own due date! I previously delivered two of his older sisters. Gary Martin Takehiro Y. born today at 9:49am 7lbs. 8oz. 20 inches long. #AMommysButterflyMidwifery #babycatcher #studentmidwife,” Jill captioned the following Instagram photo.

Do you think Jill Duggar posted this photo to get a rise out of her 19 Kids and Counting fans? If so, it not only shows that the staunch Christian has quite the sense of humor, but also that she is well aware of how excited her fans are for her to deliver Baby Dilly. That’s the name she and hubby Derick Dillard gave their unborn baby boy when they learned she was pregnant.

Being a midwife in training will likely provide Jill Duggar with lots of insight when the time comes to give birth to Baby Dilly. She and Derick Dillard were honored at their second baby shower, hosted a few days ago by Derick’s church family at a local Olive Garden.

  • Jana Duggar Edited Out of ’19 Kids and Counting?’

Jana Duggar was recently edited out of an entire episode of 19 Kids and Counting. Is TLC editing the eldest of the Duggar daughters out of the entire show?

OK! points out that Jana Duggar was conspicuously absent from the November 11th episode of 19 Kids and Counting. The episode followed eldest son Josh Duggar, his wife Anna, and their children on an RV trip. And even though both Josh and Anna made mention of how proud they were to take this trip without the help of any family members, Jana Duggar accompanied them on this past summer’s vacation.

It seems the producers wanted to ‘showcase the way Josh and Anna interact with their kids.’ Fans fear that this might indicate a slow phasing out of Jana from the entire show.

A source told OK! that Jana Duggar became an ‘invisible babysitter’ while on the road trip. She has previously been referred to as the ‘Cinderella Duggar‘ because of all the things she does behind the scenes for the family and their show. Jana reportedly worked tirelessly, along with sisters Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald, to plan both weddings–the first in June and the second in November.

24-year-old Jana Duggar is a midwife.

“I’ve been spending a lot of time working under a local midwife,” she said during a recent interview. “I am really enjoying learning about natural birth. I feel so blessed to be able to learn and grow in this area, and I plan on using the skills that I’ve developed through these experiences to help my family and friends now and in the future.”

Hopefully Jana Duggar isn’t being edited out of 19 Kids and Counting for good. She’s pretty, smart, and a hard worker, too. It would be sad to learn that TLC wants her gone because there’s no wedding on her horizon.

A current rumor floating about regarding Jana, however, involves Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar and Tim Tebow’s mom. They are reportedly working on setting up Jana with Tim. While there is no confirmation on this, they certainly would make an adorable couple–don’t you think? Would that be enough to keep Jana Duggar in the 19 Kids and Counting spotlight?
