  • Michelle Beadle Reveals Feud With CM Punk And AJ Lee

ESPN news anchor Michelle Beadle gave away some of the details of her friendships when she appeared on The Ross Report yesterday. It seems like Beadle has some tempestuous relationships with those associated with the WWE.

Take, for instance, her relationship with CM Punk. Their friendship ended abruptly over a misunderstanding. It also happened to involve a confrontation with AJ Lee, according to Beadle:

I show up at Tribute to the Troops. I see him [CM Punk] in the hallway, I say ‘what up, f–kface’, which is my very loving way of referring to my friends. I don’t call my friends… I just… I’m an idiot. I call them all kinds of names, that’s how you know I like you. He was alone in a hallway, he didn’t really say anything. I was with P.R. from WWE and my assistant and we walked by. The next thing I know, she’s [AJ Lee] in my face yelling at me and I honestly, I swear to you, thought it was a joke.

Phil [CM Punk] and I stopped being friends that day and I wish him the best of luck and that’s it.

If Beadle looses any more friends over this, she’s well on her way to making some new ones. Just a few weeks ago, the ESPN anchor was laughing it up with actor John Hamm in their interview regarding his movie Million Dollar Arm:

Do Hamm and Beadle now have crass nicknames for each other? Or are they not close enough for that yet?

Let’s hope she kept the language clean when she took paralyzed high school student Jack “Jabs” Jablonski to prom last month. She almost wasn’t allowed to go due to age restrictions, but the school made an exception due to her celebrity status. “I’m happy that the school actually allowed me because I know they’re very, they’ve got some really good rules here,” She said. “And, so it’ll be fun. I get to go on a school bus. Hello, it’s going to make me young again.”

  • Michelle Beadle Heads To A Minnesota Prom

Michelle Beadle attended a very special event this weekend, and was able to add a new title to her resume … 2014 prom date!

Beadle, who is a sports reporter for ESPN and co-host of SportsNation on ESPN2, agreed to go to prom with Jack “Jabs” Jablonski when he asked her to be his date during a radio interview back in March.

Jack, a former Minnesota prep hockey player, was paralyzed during a hockey game two years ago. Jack has long been a fan of Beadle’s and was ecstatic when the 38-year-old said yes to his invitation.

Many high schools have strict rules on the student’s dates; most will not allow students to bring a date over the age of 21. However, considering the circumstances, Benilde-St. Margaret’s School made the exception for jack, allowing him to bring his celebrity date.

“I’m happy that the school actually allowed me because I know they’re very, they’ve got some really good rules here,” Beadle explained. “And, so it’ll be fun. I get to go on a school bus. Hello, it’s going to make me young again.”

Before the big night, Beadle posted a tweet explaining how nervous she was to be going to a high school prom. “I’m a 38 year old getting ready for prom. My hair will be slightly smaller and my bum slightly bigger. And I’m also nervous. What?!?!” she wrote.

Beadle then shared a series of photos, including some selfies of her and Jack.

  • Michelle Beadle Says Yes to Prom Invitation

Paralyzed hockey player, Jack Jablonski, snagged the date of all dates to his on April 26 prom at Benilde-St. Margaret’s School in St. Louis Park: ESPN‘s The SportsNation cohost, Michelle Beadle.

His invitation is hard to beat because he asked his date on-air, and she said yes.

Jablonski was paralyzed in 2011 after being checked into the boards head-first during a high school hockey game.

His love of hockey led him to co-host a weekly hockey Night in Minnesota segment on radio sports station 105 The Ticket.

Jablonski asked his Twitter follower Beadle to appear on the show Wednesday. During the broadcast, Jablonski had a question for the sports analyst.

“I’d formally like to invite you to my prom,” Jablonski said.

“Seriously, I would love it,” Beadle responded. “Can I wear an ’80s dress to the prom? And no alcoholic beverages, Jack, I will be watching.”

“I know that he’s a badass and someone I look up to immensely,” Beadle told Larry Brown Sports in an email. “I was shocked when he asked today. And I adore him for doing it live on the radio. I’m honored to squeeze my 38 year old behind into a formal gown for a great night!”

  • Michelle Beadle and AJ Lee: What’s the Real Scoop?

Michelle Beadle of Access Hollywood fame unwittingly (?) became part of an altercation with WWE’s Divas Champion AJ Lee. The scenario took place back stage prior to a Tribute to the Troops event in Pierce County, Washington. It seems Beadle spoke to CM Punk–Lee’s real life boyfriend–prior to the event, and that caused Lee to react in her rather outlandish WWE persona.

Lee is now in trouble for reportedly “causing a scene” backstage in reaction to Michelle Beadle’s remarks. She is said to have gone off on Beadle like a crazy person.

So what did Michelle Beadle say that is causing such a fuss? It seems she addressed her old friend, using the endearing term “f*ck face.” She explains what happened via Twitter.

That’s certainly not the same Michelle Beadle persona Access Hollywood fans are accustomed to seeing–but she clearly had on her sports reporting hat Wednesday night. Some media reports claim the entire thing was staged. Beadle hasn’t addressed that rumor.

Is AJ Lee in big trouble now that she went off on Michelle Beadle? Was the whole thing contrived–and if so, why?

Has Michelle Beadle ever struck you as the kind of person to address someone as ‘F*ck face?’ Isn’t it fun to see what often lies just underneath those sweet television smiles?

  • Michelle Beadle: Beautiful Blonde’s NBC Show “Crossover” Canceled

Michelle Beadle’s NBC Sports Network show The Crossover has been canceled, it was reported by SB Nation today.

The show lasted only seven months, and this is what Michelle had to say on twitter in response to a fan’s query on Monday:

The beautiful blonde followed the curt “no” with a more detailed tweet today afternoon:

The Crossover made its debut during Super Bowl week this past January, but despite the blue-eyed blonde’s youthful charm, never managed a solid following. The lack of audience and lackluster ratings prompted the exit of her co-host and former FOX news anchor Dave Briggs in May this year. Here is Michelle interviewing the Bella twins at Crossover: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=2qq7Lovu3ig#t=83

To lessen the fallout from the show’s cancellation, NBC Sports clarified today that the decision was made not due to poor ratings and demand, but that the channel wanted to create a “vertical programming block” in advance of the impeding NHL season.

“With the NHL returning, we decided to focus on our core sports and have created vertical programming blocks in that time period to do that. We look forward to Michelle Beadle and the production team continuing their work on other NBC Sports Group properties,” said NBC sports.

But Michelle’s fans needn’t worry as she is still as hot as ever and will continue to work with NBC to bring pleasure to her audience. Beadle is also slated for the Winter Olympics coverage during February 2014 at Sochi, Russia.

And look how sweet she looks celebrating the cancellation with a glass of white wine:

Beadle joined ESPN in 2009, as co-host of SportsNation. Her career at ESPN brought her acclaim and wide following before she switched to NBC Sports. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJ5Gv244tsU

  • Michelle Beadle Show “The Crossover” Cancelled

Michelle Beadle, for those who might not be as sports-savvy as some, is a sport’s reporter and host on the television channel, NBC Universal. She has previously co-hosted other shows on the channel, such as “SportsNation” and “Winner’s Bracket.” Her most recent endeavor, however, was a show all her own, called “The Crossover,” which highlighted stories and news from pop culture as well as sports going-ons in a thirty-minute segment. Beadle originally co-hosted the show with David Briggs, another sports commentator, but the show was re-branded a few months later and Beadle became the sole host.

The show debuted on Super Bowl weekend of this year, on January 26th, and had been struggling along ever since. The show suffered from poor ratings from the get-go, and with the multiple curve balls thrown at audiences, such as host and name changes, the show was simply not well received. And it seems that the network is cutting off a dead limb; as Beadle tweeted out today, the show is “dunzo.”

NBC Sports justified their actions by citing the upcoming NHL season. They went on to say, “With the NHL returning, we decided to focus on our core sports and have created vertical programming blocks in that time period to do that. We look forward to Michelle Beadle and the production team continuing their work on other NBC Sports Group properties.”

Beadle is far from out of the lime light, however. She will be participating in upcoming Olympic coverage, and she is still co-hosting programs on the network. There are rumors of her being given another show; here’s to hoping that any future endeavors have at least a bit more luck than “The Crossover,” may it rest in peace.
