  • Megan Fox Channels Sexy Blonde School Girl in ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2’

Megan Fox was spotted on the set of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 Tuesday, channeling a sexy blonde school girl reminiscent of the 1980s. A source tells E! News they’re sure it was a wig, however, as Fox was spotted later that same day sporting her long brown locks.

In her role as reporter April O’Neil, Megan Fox donned the blonde wig as well as thick, black-rimmed glasses.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 is the follow-up to a 2014 reboot film. In addition to Megan Fox, it stars Noel Fisher as Michelangelo, Alan Ritchson as Raphael, Jeremy Howard as Donatello, Pete Ploszek as Leonardo, Danny Woodburn as Splinter, and Will Arnett as Vernon, April’s cameraman. Stephen Amell will play the mysterious and fan favorite masked vigilante Casey Jones, while Alessandra Ambrosio of Victoria’s Secret supermodel fame will make her film debut as Vernon’s love interest.

Tyler Perry is set to play the role of scientist Baxter Stockman and Brian Tee of The Wolverine is signed on to play The Shredder.

Unless fans catch glimpses from the set or those eventual promo clips and trailers, they will have a bit of a wait to see Megan Fox channeling her inner sexy blonde school girl. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 isn’t set to hit theaters until some time in 2016.

  • Megan Fox Reveals Shocking First Crush

Megan Fox Reveals Shocking First Crush

Before Megan Fox married Beverly Hills 90210 alum Brian Austin Green in 2010, the Hollywood hottie most likely had a lot of crushes. But the 28-year-old actress wasn’t into the usual cast of heartthrob characters. Instead, Fox fell for a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle. “My first crush, and everyone thinks this is really weird, but little girls have crushes on animated characters, and my first crush was Michaelangelo.”

If that’s really true then Fox must have been super stoked to play news anchor April O’Neil in the movie adaptation of the uber-popular 1980s cartoon. “They were my favorite movies as a kid. That was my thing. Way, way more so than Star Wars or in later years, still more than Lord of the Rings. It was always Ninja Turtles.”

Fox didn’t dish on her feelings for Michaelangelo’s crime fighting partners Raphael, Donatello, or Leonardo.

The big budget live action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is slated for a August 8, 2014 release. The film’s tagline, “Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April O’Neil and her cameraman Vernon Fenwick to save the city and unravel Shredder’s diabolical plan.”

Noel Fisher (Shameless) plays Michaelangelo. Johnny Knoxville voices the character of Leonardo. Alan Ritchson (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire) plays Raphael. Jeremy Howard portrays Donatello. Also starring in the film are Will Arnett, Whoopie Goldberg, and Tony Shalhoub. Although the film is live action, the Ninja Turtles will be computer animated through Motion Capture.

If you’re a superfan of the Ninja Turtles and are worried about the film not staying true to the source material, Will Arnett feels that the movie is a faithful adaptation, “There is time in the sewers. There is time in the lair. There’s all of it. I think we’ve done a really good job in staying true to the mythology and then telling a new story, telling a new version.”

  • Megan Fox: First Crush on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle

Megan Fox recently admitted that her very first crush was on one of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles–Michaelangelo to be exact. The actress who stars alongside Will Arnett, Johnny Knoxville, and Whoopi Goldberg in the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film, says she knows her crush was silly, but she was just a little girl.

“My first crush, and everyone thinks this is really weird, but little girls have crushes on animated characters, and my first crush was Michaelangelo,” Megan said during an interview with MTV. “So I’m super excited.”

“They were my favorite movies as a kid. That was my thing. Way, way more so than Star Wars or in later years, still more than Lord of the Rings. It was always Ninja Turtles,” she added.

Even though this is a highly updated version of the original TV series, the film stays true to the original in lots of ways.

“There is time in the sewers. There is time in the lair. There’s all of it,” Will Arnett says of the movie’s sets. “I think we’ve done a really good job in staying true to the mythology and then telling a new story, telling a new version.”

This is Megan Fox’s first appearance on the big screen since giving birth to her and hubby Brian Austin Green’s second son Bodhi back in February. The couple has another son named Noah.

Are you a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan? Just like in the 1980s, there’s Michelangelo, Raphael, Donatello and Leonardo. Which one is your favorite? Megan Fox will play the role of April O’Neil in the movie adaptation.

You can check out Megan Fox and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles this summer. The film is scheduled to hit theaters in August.
