  • Stephanie Pratt Smoked Meth Before School Every Morning, 12-13 Times A Day

Stephanie Pratt has been a reality TV star for so long that she can now claim that “her life has been lived almost as much on the small screen as off it.”

When her brother, Spencer, creator of hit reality TV show The Hills, asked her to join the cast, Stephanie instantly became a global celebrity. For Stephanie Pratt, being so watched and analyzed did little to stall her addictions and issues.

Now that Pratt lives in London and stars in Made in Chelsea, she feels she is finally settled and ready to reveal the truth about her life and what it means to be a reality TV star. Her memoir, Made in Reality: From the Hills of L.A. to London’s Made in Chelsea, tells stories that no one saw on camera.

While the cameras seemed to show Pratt living a perfect, privileged life in “reality TV,” in actual reality she was struggling with substance abuse and body issues. While making The Hills, she felt she was “huge.” This in spite of already having an eating disorder that developed after she was arrested for shoplifting and lost her job as production assistant on the TV series Lost.

By 2009 Stephanie Pratt weighed 105 lbs. “I lost about six pounds in two weeks, but bulimia made my face very puffy, so I freaked out and began going on crazy little diets,” she said. “I’d only eat Tic Tacs.”

Her new book holds nothing back, going behind the scenes of The Hills, Made in Chelsea and even the Big Brother House. Stephanie Pratt even talks about how she smoked meth in high school. She smoked a lot.

“I was 14 or 15 [when I first smoked it],” she writes. “I was on the extreme level and addiction developed instantly. [I smoked] probably four times before school, then at snack…probably 12 or 13 times a day.”

“I didn’t care about anything. I could live or die, I didn’t care,” she continues. “I had nothing to get out of bed for. Nothing was exciting.”

  • Star Trek’s Uhura Stopped in LAX for Meth

Nichelle Nichols is 81 years old. So when meth fell out of her suitcase at LAX airport, it stands to reason that security was a bit shocked. Talk about “boldly going.” But, as there usually is, there is more to the story.

According to a report from TMZ, Nichols, famous for playing Lieutenant Uhura on the original Star Trek television show and films, was catching a flight at LAX. Nichols was in a wheelchair, and she had an assistant accompanying her, a male in his 20s. One of the suitcases with Nichols’ name tag on it fell to the ground, came open, and law enforcement saw a bag of meth and drug scales fall out.

After looking deeper into the situation, officials determined that the bag did not belong to Nichols, but had been attached to hers and tagged with her name. It actually belonged to her companion. Apparently Nichols had no knowledge of the meth. Her companion was detained. Nichols was allowed to board her plane and continue on her way.

Nichols’ rep contacted TMZ to tell them that the only thing that LAX officials found in the man’s luggage was an e-cigarette. But TMZ claims that’s not what LAX officials say.

Nichols most famous role as Uhura also landed her in the history books along with William Shatner for the First Interracial Kiss on Television.

Even at 81 years of age, Nichols is still a regular at Trek conventions and events across the country. She also appeared in the television series Heroes, playing Nana. Fellow Trek veteran George Takei also appeared on the show, as did Zachary Quinto, years before he would be cast as Spock in the Trek reboot films.

  • Adolf Hitler: Dossier Reveals New Details on Dictator’s Secret Addiction to Crystal Meth

Adolf Hitler — the German dictator, who instigated World War II — allegedly had a secret addiction to crystal meth.

According to the Daily Mail, U.S. military intelligence has compiled a 47-page wartime dossier containing information that suggests Hitler was a hypochondriac and took 74 different kinds of medication and pills, including methamphetamine.

Intelligence suggests Hitler took crystal meth before a meeting with Mussolini in 1943, and he had nine injections of Vitamultin, a drug which contained methamphetamine, during the final days in his bunker.

According to the report, Hitler also was given intravenous injections of methamphetamine from 1942 until his death in 1945 by his personal physician Theodor Morell, known by Nazis as the “Reichsmaster of injections.”

In an interview for the National Geographic Channel’s Nazi Underworld, psychiatrist Professor Nassir Ghaemi said, “It’s not whether Hitler was an amphetamine addict or not – it’s that Hitler had bipolar disorder and amphetamines made it worse.

“That is the issue. That has never been described before and that would explain a lot why Hitler changed in the late 1930s and the 1940s.”

  • Manslaughter Charge in Arkansas Missing Persons Case

The bodies of an Arkansas man and his 10-month-old son were discovered in a remote area of the Ouachita Mountains on July 29, concluding a four-day search. Now the mother of the infant has been charged with manslaughter.

Brian Floyd, 33, and his son Harper Floyd were last seen on the morning of July 25 with Brooke Floyd. Brooke was found hours later, walking alone down a rural road in the area, which is situated roughly 80 miles west of Little Rock. Yell County Sheriff Bill Gilkey commented that Floyd appeared to be “cut up and scarred as if she had been in a wooded area.”

Floyd was initially detained on the charge of endangering the welfare of a minor, as she was uncooperative regarding the search effort for her husband and child. Her bond was set at $50,000, and she was able to make bail.

Upon further investigation, it was revealed that the Floyd couple had both been hallucinating after ingesting methamphetamine, and believed that they were being chased. Capt. John Foster Jr. wrote in an affidavit, “I asked her if she was taking any medication because she appeared to be hallucinating many of the events she described.” Floyd explained that she added anti-seizure medication to the meth.

Floyd added that her story was an amalgam of mutual hallucinations she and her husband were experiencing. Foster Jr. commented, “She seemed to be indicating that they would tell each other what they were seeing or experiencing as they were hallucinating and then the other would believe they also saw or experienced the same thing.”

Preliminary autopsy reports indicate that infant Harper died of “exposure and abandonment.” The cause of the Brian Floyd’s death is awaiting toxicology results.

Floyd’s lawyer, Bill James, said he does not believe she is guilty. Floyd is set to appear in a Danville, Arkansas court on Thursday.

  • Tom Sizemore Gets High And Makes Racist Remarks [Video]

A video showing embattled actor Tom Sizemore high on hard drugs and making offensive remarks against Mexican men has emerged.

Sizemore is a 52-year-old veteran actor who starred in movies like Heat, Black Hawk Down and Saving Private Ryan.

On Wednesday, a video emerged on YouTube showing Sizemore smoking what appears to be crystal methamphetamine in the bathroom of his LA home. At one point in the homemade video, Sizemore smokes a substance wrapped in foil paper with a glass pipe. According to sources, that substance was heroin.

The actor has had a long history of using hard drugs, which he says started when he was 15. Sizemore’s  3-year marriage to actress Maeve Quinlan ended in divorce in 1999 because of his drug problems. In 2003, he was also convicted of assault and battery against his girlfriend, Heidi Fleiss, the notorious “Hollywood Madam”. Shortly after, he was sentenced to 7 months in  jail and 4 months in a drug treatment program for failing drug tests while on probation. Sizemore has since had a series of legal and personal problems stemming from his drug addiction.

In 2010, he appeared on VH1’s Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew and was able to stay clean for awhile. This new video, however, shows a man that has clearly succumbed to his addictions once again.

Sizemore seems to also have a problem with Mexicans. In the video, he can be heard saying he hates Mexican men because they “stink, they’re are all hairy, brown and smell like ‘f***ing fertilizer.”

‘They just f***ing try and tax you and f***ing beat your a* and kill ya,  he continued.

The source of the video said: “The world should see this video because then maybe Tom will realize he’s killing himself with drugs and clean himself up for good.”

  • Waitress in Oregon Receives Methamphetamine for Tip

Most people have probably heard the saying, “If you can’t afford to leave a tip, then you can’t afford to go out to eat.” Apparently a couple in Oregon takes this saying to heart because even though they didn’t leave their waitress a cash tip, they did leave something behind–just not something any law-abiding citizen would want. When the waitress found an envelope left after a couple paid for their drinks, she looked inside and found methamphetamine.

The waitress, whose name hasn’t been released, discovered the meth on Friday morning. The waitress says that after a couple paid their bill at Twisted Fish in Seaside, Oregon, they left an envelope. When she looked inside, she saw what she suspected to be meth and called the police. The police officer on the scene confirmed that the substance in the envelope was indeed crystal meth.

Police arrested two people in the meth tip case–Ryan Bensen and Erica Manley. After police searched Bensen and Manley, they ended up finding more meth on Manley. According to reports, Manley was arrested for possession of meth, manufacture and delivery of meth. Bensen was originally arrested for possession of methamphetamine and manufacture of methamphetamine, but reports say police later released Bensen without filing charges against him.

Check out the mugshots for Bensen and Manley below.

Police aren’t sure whether the meth was really left behind as a tip or if it was a mistake. “I don’t think it is clear whether it’s a tip or not,” Marquis said. “They left it behind, whether it was an accident or joke or serious. We’ll probably find out in grand jury next week.”

As strange as the meth tip case is, this isn’t even the most bizarre crime story that has been reported on this week. A man in McLoud, Oklahoma is being accused of killing his stepfather by giving him an atomic wedgie.

  • Meth-Head Masturbator Man Subdued By 15 Cops

One day you’re walking in the bar to enjoy a pint with your mates, the next thing you know, a guy fends off a dozen or more cops while masturbating at them.

Though he claims he has no recollection of it, Andrew Frey, 37, of Beaverton, Oregon, was high on methamphetamine, masturbating, and subdued by 15 police officers at Iggy’s Bar & Grill on Sunday.

At about 1PM on Sunday, the first call came into the Marion County Sheriff’s office about a man acting strangely. Frey had allegedly refused to pay a locksmith he called to at his home.

From there, he went to a gas station with a convenience store attached. Frey hung out for a while until an employee had escorted him off the premises. Frey’s next journey was to head down the road to Iggy’s Bar & Grill, where he calmly, under the demonic powers of meth, sat at a barstool, whipped out bowser, and exposed himself to a bartender, police said.

Frey, mindless, started pleasuring himself in public.

As soon as this happened, a police officer was called on the scene – Frey had vanished. The lone Marion Country deputy crept slowly towards the bar’s bathroom where he discovered Frey conducting a one-man show. Frey wasn’t having it, and neither was the officer; according to the deputy, he tased Frey multiple times due to Frey resisting arrest. The Taser wasn’t very effective, so, the officer got into a fight with Frey.

Due to the fight with the meth-head masturbator, the deputy couldn’t reach for his radio, yet the dispatcher managed to call in massive backup.

The swarm of cops had arrived and, with 15 police officers in total, managed to subdue Frey; he was arrested and charged with public indecency, resisting arrest, and theft of services.

Frey was then taken to Salem Memorial Hospital for evaluation due to his erratic behavior.

According to The Oregonian, Frey reported that he didn’t remember a thing. He took methamphetamine on Saturday, and all was a blur ever since.

Frey was then transported to the county jail shortly after.

  • California Mayor’s Husband Suspected of Dealing Meth

Ruben Guerrero, 44, husband of Montebello, California mayor Christina Cortez, was arrested early Thursday, after being spotted by sheriff’s detectives selling crystal meth near a middle school. Guerrero was booked on suspicion of methamphetamine and narcotics sales near a school. He remained in jail late Thursday, with bail set at $60,000.

Mayor Cortez said she is “very disappointed and, like everyone else, shocked.” She added, “I would urge everyone and the public to let this investigation take its course. As a mother, as a daughter and as an elected official, I have supported the education of understanding the dangers of drugs. Thursday’s events will not change that.”

In related meth news, Sir Anthony Hopkins, star of 1997’s underrated and oft-overlooked “The Edge,” recently penned a congratulatory letter to “Breaking Bad” actor Bryan Cranston.

Meanwhile, Guerrero was nabbed at around 6 a.m., as he was leaving the home he shares with Cortez. He was spotted dealing near Montebello Intermediate School, not far from his property. Guerrero had been under investigation for over a month before his arrest, and has been described as a small-time dealer, and used his house with the mayor as his base of operation.

Mayor Cortez was at home with the kids when authorities served her with a search warrant. The house where Cortez’ 89-year-old grandmother lives was also served with a warrant. Guerrero was the only suspect implicated.

Guerrero had been convicted of a DUI in 1999, and in September, 2012, the Montebello Fire Department investigated a “suspicious” fire that burned Cortez’s Chevrolet Suburban. Coincidentally, the red phosporus used in cooking meth is highly flammable.

Montebello Councilman Frank Gomez requested a restraining order against Guerrero earlier this year, claiming that Guerrero had made threats against him, though the order was denied in January.

It’s not clear if Guerrero’s wife’s standing as mayor can help him out of a tricky dealing-meth-near-a-middle-school charge.

  • Craze Supplement Contains Meth-Like Substance

Did someone bring Mr. White out of, ah, retirement? If you use Craze Performance Fuel for your workout boost, you might want to think twice, as Harvard researchers say the supplement contains a compound similar to meth. The company behind the Craze supplement, Driven Sports, Inc., denies the claims.

The Craze supplement is supposed to contain extract dendrobium orchids. Nowhere in the list of ingredients is methamphetamine, of course, but researchers say that it does have an unlisted ingredient that is similar to meth, “N,alpha-diethylphenylethylamine” (N,alpha-DEPEA).”

“So I think they’re playing with stimulants to try and find something that will get people juiced up, revved up to work out and make them feel better,” said study researcher Dr. Pieter Cohen, an assistant professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School. “We found that, instead of anything from an orchid, it had an unlisted, practically unknown, cousin of methamphetamine.”

That might explain this post by one Twitter user before the meth claims were released:

The research project came about after some athletes failed a drug test, but were adamant about never using meth or any other drugs. After researchers tested multiples samples of Craze, they found N,alpha-DEPEA, a stimulant that is a cousin of methamphetamine. The researchers say the stimulant has never been tested in humans and that the Craze samples they tested contained “21 to 35 milligrams per serving” of N,alpha-DEPEA, which is a pharmaceutical-level dose.

Do you use Craze to improve your workout performance? Respond below.

“The recklessness of placing something that’s never been tested in a single human…into a mass-produced and mass-distributed supplement is really mind boggling,” Cohen said. Craze has since been pulled from Walmart’s shelves and is no longer available from GNC.

Driven Sports tested their product and say that the Harvard researchers are wrong. The company’s “conclusions regarding the safety and composition of Craze have not changed: The product is safe and effective,” Driven Sports says.

  • Breaking Bad Spin-off Picked Up By AMC

Breaking Bad, the show that follows everyone’s favorite meth dealer Walter White, is finally coming to an end in just a few weeks. The show is in its fifth and final season and the fifth season was split into two parts, making the last batch of episodes build in intensity for even longer. Breaking Bad focuses on Walter White, a retired chemistry teacher who turned to cooking meth in order to make money for his cancer treatments. Him and his partner, Jesse Pinkman, are helped throughout the show by the sleazy, but funny lawyer, Saul Goodman.

The show is currently wrapping up its final 8 episodes and episode number 13 just aired this past Sunday. Walter has gotten himself into quite a situation recently and for those fans that want more, fear not, Saul Goodman will have his own show after Breaking Bad is over. Breaking Bad will finish its five year run on September 29, with 3 more episodes to go. Goodman is played by Bob Odenkirk, who co-stars alongside Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul in the show.

Breaking Bad has become one of the most popular shows on television and just when viewers thought they had seen all of it, there is more coming for the die hard fans. As a large surprise since Breaking Bad did achieve such an iconic status, AMC did not leap at the opportunity to host a spin-off, but their hesitation to buy the project allowed several other networks to express interest before deciding to pick it up themselves, according to The New York Times.

It has been rumored for a while now that Saul would be given his own show, and today it was finally confirmed by the network. The show will be titled Better Call Saul, which is a reference to his slogan that is seen on his billboard and TV ads in Breaking Bad. They use Saul when they get in trouble and have no other way of getting help, with Saul being the master of getting things taken care of.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bBeQO1nBThQ

It has been said that Better Call Saul will be a prequel that shows fans Goodman’s experiences before he met Walter White. Further details are not yet available, although it is set up to be another hour-long drama, but will likely have a bit of a lighter tone than that of Breaking Bad, says Time Magazine.

  • Thanks to Big Pharma, Anyone can ‘Break Bad’

Thanks to Big Pharma, Anyone can ‘Break Bad’

This one will hit close to home, Kentuckians: an investigative report has revealed that the most popular form of meth manufacture (derivation from pseudoephedrine, a common decongestant) known as shake-and-bake or ‘one pot’ has a friend in the form of the massive pharmaceutical companies.

Ever since Mexican superlabs and biker gangs around Oregon began to traffic in crystal meth in the ’80s and ’90s, the dangerous drug has rampaged across the states. The shake-and-bake method, a relatively new phenomenon, increased meth labs by 63 percent nationwide and tripled their presence in Kentucky.

Because of the household nature of shake-and-bake meth cooking, the ingredients are available for purchase at most groceries and pharmacies. Law enforcers expect to be targeting strung-out junkies, while their biggest opponents have turned out to be pharmaceutical lobbies and politically-connected drug companies. In Kentucky, records have been shattered by lobbyists willing to pay top dollar to keep pseudoephedrine widely available.

Jackie Steele, a commonwealth’s attorney in southeastern Kentucky, expressed great frustration “to see how an industry and corporate dollars affect commonsense legislation.”

The battle is hardly limited to Appalachia and the south, even if those areas seem worst hit by the scourge of meth. Rob Bovett, formerly a lawyer for the drug task force of Lincoln County in Oregon, battled drug lobbies in 2000 when he sought to increase regulations on the sale of pseudoephedrine. Over a dozen lobbyists had to be consulted and agreed with before anything would be done about the chemical’s availability.

Eventually, around 2003 Bovett tried again to move pseudoephedrine behind the counter. “We got our asses kicked,” he said of the attempt. When Oklahoma passed such legislation on the heels of the murder of a state trooper by a tweaked meth cook who stole his pistol, Oregon quickly followed in adopting similar legislation. Yet the cooks adapted as well, and collected junkies into “smurfing teams” that would go buy the Sudafed they needed to keep cooking.

Bovett’s response was to then ask the Oregon legislature for pseudoephedrine to be returned to prescription status. That request opened the lobbying floodgates, but fortunately a clever presentation in front of the house vote about the ease of procuring a mass quantity of Sudafed convinced lawmakers to make it a prescription drug once again. In 2006 the bill became law, and the quantity of meth labs discovered in Oregon plummeted by 96 percent.

  • Breaking Bad Theme Played with Stuff You’d Find in a Meth Lab

So, yeah, wow. Sunday night’s return of Breaking Bad pretty much shattered all of our expectations. I could spend hours discussing the episode – from symbolism, to clear foreshadowing, to Bryan Cranston’s superb direction, to pacing, and to general badassery. But that’s a long conversation. And I’m betting some of you haven’t seen it yet.

No worries. I know you’ll get to it tonight. And while you wait for Monday to come to a merciful end, please enjoy this awesome piece of Breaking Bad YouTube-dom. It’s the theme of the show, played using items that you’d likely find in a meth lab. Neat.

  • Soda Meth Study Reveals Bad News For Your Teeth

Soda may be as damaging to your teeth as meth or crack in the long run, according to a recently released study. The study claims that the damage done by high soda consumption combined with a lack of proper dental hygiene can do damage that is substantially similar to “meth mouth.”

(Do yourself a favor and do not do a Google Image search for meth mouth. You can thank me later.)

The study was conducted by Dr. Mohamed Bassiouny. Bassiouny works at Temple University School of Dentistry as a professor of restorative dentistry. In the study, recently published in the journal General Dentistry, Bassiouny compares the damage done by various kinds of substances, including soda, crack, and meth.

While the weight loss benefits of diet soda are debatable, Bassiouny says that when it comes to damaging your teeth, there is little difference between diet soda and regular. The reason for this is that they have comparable acid content – citric acid and phosphoric acid, to be precise. Regular exposure to these acids without proper hygiene can do catastrophic damage to the teeth in the long term.

Fortunately for all you soda fiends out there, the damage from soda is much easier to mitigate than the damage from meth. One of the soda-drinking subjects of the study was a woman in her 30s who had been consuming two liters of soda every day for five years, and had not been to see a dentist in 20 years. That suggests that a little work to keep your teeth healthy can help prevent some of the damage soda can do. Brush regularly, go to the dentist at least once a year, preferably twice, and don’t drink an entire 2-liter per day, and you should be fine.

Other subjects of the study included a 29-year-old man who had been using meth regularly for three years, as well as drinking 2-3 cans of soda per day. Another was a 51-year-old crack user. All three subjects had to have their teeth extracted and replaced with dentures.

  • Meth Can Impair Your Judgement When Buying iPad!

If you want to go out and pickup an iPad, you probably shouldn’t shop high. Palo Alto police were following-up on a stolen iPad using the “Find My iPad” software when the GPS locator brought them to the Woods apartment complex in San Jose, California. they knocked on the door where the locator said the iPad would be. A man answered and the police asked if they could step inside. The man agreed and let them in.

Assistant District Attorney David Tomkins commented on the behavior:

“They probably thought if they didn’t, we’d suspect something, or they thought, ‘I’ll let them in’ — they probably won’t find anything.’”

To the surprise of the officers, not only did they find the iPad, they found huge piles of crystal meth! The three occupants of the apartment were taken into custody and authorities called-in the narcotics department. A search warrant was obtained and the meth was seized.

There turned out to be 780 pounds of crystal meth in the apartment, some unrefined, but most of it was finished product. The value is estimated at $35 million. Apparently the meth gave-off no noticeable odor outside the apartment, but was very distinctive upon entrance.

It is not clear what motivated any of the individuals to steal the device, but with such a large stash of meth, there is no reason they couldn’t have afforded to buy one. I’ll bet they’re kicking themselves now. Sometimes our nature gets the best of us.

District Attorney Jeff Rosen commented on the case:

“I told my dad about the bust and he said, ‘They have $35 million, and they can’t go out and buy an iPad’?”

Apparently the suspects were too busy enjoying the merchandise to think clearly about their actions. I think $600 is a small price to pay for an iPad, especially it buys you peace of mind and keeps the police off your tracks. Further evidence that drugs do impair your judgement, and in this case, render you completely stupid.

None of the suspects names have been released, but I don’t think this will be a hard case to prosecute. I would guess that possession in this amount would carry a pretty hefty sentence even if you exclude the theft of the iPad.
