  • Jessa Duggar Upcoming Appearance at Christian Conference Angers Many in Wake of Josh Duggar Sexual Molestation and Ashley Madison Scandals

Jessa Duggar is set to speak at the Southern Women’s Show in both Birmingham, Alabama and Charlotte, North Carolina this fall. The Christian conference is designed to empower and entertain women in the areas of fashion, fun, family life, and more.

In light of Jessa Duggar’s brother Josh’s recent scandals, however, some women–and men, too–aren’t sure the former 19 Kids and Counting star should be on the roster of guests.

Jessa Duggar is married now, and it seems hubby Ben Seewald will be on hand as well to sign autographs. The couple is expecting their first baby on their first wedding anniversary–November 1st.

You guessed it! Jessa Seewald from TLC's 19 Kids and Counting will be joining us at this year’s Southern Women's Show Birmingham! Jessa will appear on Saturday, October 10th.

Posted by Southern Women's Show Birmingham on Monday, July 13, 2015

The Southern Women’s Show Birmingham posted about Jessa Duggar’s upcoming October appearance. Some of the commenters on the post seemed a bit disturbed that she was among the guests.

One commenter wrote, “I wonder if Jessa will answer questions about the molestation cover up? Why her husband doesn’t have a job? Why she’s traveling this late in her pregnancy? Does she plan on “blanket training” her son (beating baby until he/she submits to the rod)? Just asking.”

The Southern Women’s Show Birmingham quickly ran interference, replying, “Thank you Susan Payton for your comments and your interest in Jessa’s appearance. As you are probably aware, Jessa and her sister Jill are partnering with TLC and child protective organizations, the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN) and Darkness to Light, to raise awareness and offer assistance to families dealing with similar issues. The documentary will air sometime later this summer and many of the questions regarding their abuse will be addressed at that time. The question and answer session during her appearance at the show is open forum, however; we are hopeful that public inquiries are appropriately respectful regarding this important and sensitive subject. As an advocate for such victims, The Southern Women’s Show supports these endeavors to shed light and spark hope for the many children & families in need of support.”

Another commenter chimed in, referring to Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald’s interview with Megyn Kelly after Josh Duggar’s first scandal went public.

“Jessa and Jill outright lied in the Kelly interview. Said “we were asleep and didn’t know we were abused”. This is NOT what their testimony says in the police reports. #blankettraining,” the commenter wrote.

Jessa Duggar Seewald has a very special message for Southern Women's Show fans!

Posted by Southern Women's Show Charlotte on Monday, August 24, 2015

A commenter on Jessa Duggar’s message ahead of the Southern Women’s Show Charlotte left the following comment on the organization’s recent Facebook post.

“This woman was made a victim of sexual abuse by her parents cultist lifestyle. Now she seems to be fully willing to perpetuate the same mistakes and cult lifestyle as an adult. She has my sympathy as a victim but absolutely none of my respect as an irresponsible, willfully ignorant adult.”

Southern Women’s Show Charlotte replied, commenting, “Sarah Elizabeth, Cindy Cormier-Canfield, Linda L Beran-Miller, Debbie Furner, Erika Araneda, Mia Mort, Jan Sacks, Rebecca Elizabeth Hunt – Thank you all for your comments. We understand that sometimes the special guest(s) appearing at the show may not appeal to everyone, which is what the Southern Women’s Show is all about … we aspire to bring a variety of programming, features, shopping and events to appeal to a variety of tastes. There is truly something for everyone. We hope you’ll decide to join us after all on Friday or Sunday.”

A man got in on the comments, too, writing, “Too bad Southern women don’t understand the many struggles women have been through to achieve their status in the 21st century. The Duggars live a Patriarchal Biblical lifestyle which represses women. Featuring one of them as a speaker hurts women everywhere. Shame on you.”

A woman named Jennifer chimed in with, “I can’t believe that a Women’s show in 2015 would even consider giving this person a forum to continue to spew her bigoted hatred and her outdated view on women’s roles in both the home and in the workplace. You couldn’t find someone who actually has something to say that can contribute to the betterment and advancement of women?”

Josh Duggar’s wife, Anna Duggar, has made news a lot lately–especially since Josh admitted to having two Ashley Madison accounts, being addicted to porn, and cheating on Anna Duggar. Yet the former 19 Kids and Counting family–as well as Anna’s own parents–say she won’t leave her husband. A porn star and stripper has even come forward, claiming Josh Duggar cheated on Anna Duggar with her–and that the sex was rough.

This commenter believes Jessa Duggar shouldn’t speak at the upcoming conferences because the Duggar women–including Anna Duggar–can’t lend insight into how 21st century women live.

“As a survivor of childhood sexual assault and considering the decades it has taken me to come to terms with the crime that was committed against me, I am highly disappointed in your choice to invite Jessa Duggar (or any of the Duggar women) to your upcoming event. The Duggars can provide no useful information to any women who are seeking progress. Their religious agenda is hell-bent on taking women back to the 1920’s, where women have no voice, no power; and whose sole purpose is to sexually service men and have babies. The Duggar women are the antithesis of everything you espouse,” the commenter wrote.

Do you think Jessa Duggar is a good choice to encourage and represent women at these Southern Women’s Conferences? Or did the conference management perhaps secure her appearance long before either of Josh Duggar’s scandals made news?

  • Jessa Duggar: Is She Still Standing by Brother Josh Duggar in Wake of Ashley Madison Scandal?

Jessa Duggar forgave brother Josh Duggar for sexually molesting her when he was a teenager. She said others should forgive him, too. She also spoke out against those who called him a child molester during a television interview with Megyn Kelly, alongside her sister Jill Duggar Dillard.

Now Josh Duggar has made news for yet another scandal. In addition to having two Ashley Madison accounts, he has admitted to having an addiction to pornography as well as to having cheated on his wife Anna Duggar.

Is Jessa Duggar still standing by her brother? Or is she sick of his atrocious behavior instead?

Jessa shared a Bible passage in a recent Instagram post. It’s hard to interpret the passage through her eyes, however. Is it indicative of her forgiveness–once again–of Josh Duggar? Or is it pointing fingers at him instead?

A photo posted by Jessa Seewald (@jessaseewald) on

“If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth,” one verse reads.

This sounds like Jessa Duggar is rather disgusted with Josh Duggar for having claimed to be a Christian, yet having these Ashley Madison accounts, through which he cheated on wife Anna Duggar.

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness,” another verse reads.

This one makes it seem like Jessa Duggar is satisfied with yet another confession from Josh Duggar.

It’s important to note, however, that Josh didn’t seek forgiveness for these Ashley Madison accounts or for cheating on his wife until he was caught.

Does that count as a confession in Jessa Duggar’s eyes?

Do you think these passages from the Bible indicate that Jessa Duggar is forgiving her brother yet again or is angry with him for his actions?

The entire mix of Josh Duggar scandals can’t have been easy on Jessa Duggar, who–along with hubby Ben Seewald–is expecting her first child.

  • Jessa Duggar Seewald, Jill Duggar Dillard to Appear in TLC Sex Abuse Special, ‘Breaking the Silence’

Jessa Duggar Seewald and sister Jill Duggar Dillard will both appear in an upcoming TLC sex abuse special called Breaking the Silence. The network cancelled the Duggar family’s reality show, 19 Kids and Counting after the media frenzy that followed word of Josh Duggar’s sexual molestation scandal. Jessa Duggar Seewald and Jill Duggar Dillard–two admitted victims of Josh Duggar–agreed to appear in the documentary.

TLC will air Breaking the Silence on Sunday, August 30. It will run for one hour and will be commercial free.

“The one-hour documentary is built around the personal and emotional stories of brave survivors who have found the courage to come forward,” the network said in a statement.

TLC President Marjorie Kaplan added that “the goal is to take what has been a difficult and painful experience, and focus that attention on the really critical issue of child protection and child sexual abuse.”

Jessa Duggar Seewald and Jill Duggar Dillard are two of five of brother Josh Duggar’s victims. Two other Duggar sisters–purportedly Jana Duggar and Jinger Duggar–were molested, too, as was one non-relative.

Jill and Jessa Duggar talked about their situation during a Fox interview with Megyn Kelly. They said during that interview that they only knew about Josh’s sexual molestations (inappropriate touching over clothing) because their parents explained what happened after Josh admitted to the fondling. Both girls were reportedly asleep when the molestations took place.

“My dad explained to us, he said, ‘You know there’s a difference between forgiveness and trust. That’s not the same thing,’” Jill Duggar Dillard told Megyn Kelly. “You know, you forgive someone and then you have boundaries. Forgiveness with boundaries. Trust comes later. Josh destroyed that trust at the beginning, and so he had to rebuild that. I think when he came back, that was… the point of rebuilding.”

Parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have come under much fire for the way they handled the situation. Josh reportedly never received clinical counseling.

The Duggar family is said to be renting a home and haven’t returned to their large Arkansas abode since word of the scandal hit the media. They were saddened at the loss of their reality show, but claim they will continue to glorify God in other ways.

Will you be tuning in on August 30 to see Jessa Duggar Seewald and Jill Duggar Dillard on this TLC special about sexual abuse? Do you think their story will change at all since their interview with Megyn Kelly?

  • Megyn Kelly Going On Vacation Following Donald Trump ‘Blood Coming Out of Her Wherever’ Comment

Megyn Kelly is going on vacation. And despite what people think of the Fox News host and star of The Kelly File, it really seems like she needs the break.

“It’s been an interesting week. A long six months, without a vacation for yours truly, do you know that? It’s been six months since I’ve had a vacation. Just ask my assistant,” Megyn Kelly announced on Thursday. “So I’ll be taking the next week and a half off, spending some time with my husband and my kids, trying to relax.”

Kelly co-moderated the recent GOP debate, and was the brunt of an incredibly tasteless comment two days later.

“I don’t have a lot of respect for Megyn Kelly—she’s a lightweight,” Donald Trump said. “She gets out and she starts asking me all sorts of ridiculous questions and, you know, you could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever.”

Yes, Megyn Kelly needs a vacation.

“The big challenge is trying to put down the Electronica and unplug it,” she continued during her on-air vacation announcement, holding up her cell phone before asking the audience. “Can you do it?

“When you go on vacation, I am going to try to look at my little one’s faces and go for bike rides and play at the beach and not look at you,” she said. “And when I see you back here on the 24th, we’ll pick it all up again. Have a great week. See you soon.”

Donald Trump’s campaign office issued a statement about the Megyn Kelly “blood coming out of her wherever” comment after it caused quite an outrage.

“Mr. Trump made Megyn Kelly look really bad—she was a mess with her anger and totally caught off guard. Mr. Trump said ‘blood was coming out of her eyes and wherever,’ meaning nose, but wanted to move on to more important topics. Only a deviant would think anything else.”

The day after Trump’s comment, Megyn Kelly addressed it on the air.

“You may have heard that there was a dustup between yours truly and presidential contender Donald Trump. Mr. Trump was upset with a question I asked him at the debate last week about his electability and specifically comments he had made in the past about women,” she said.

Whether you do or don’t like Megyn Kelly, you have to admit she needs this vacation. Hopefully she is successful at tuning out all forms of media, and can simply enjoy this time away with her husband and her children.

Do you think Donald Trump’s statement was the catalyst for her sudden getaway?

  • Megyn Kelly Insists She Didn’t “Attack” Trump At Debate

Megyn Kelly continues to defend her line of questions that was directed at Donald Trump during last week’s debate.

As one of the moderators for the debate, Megyn Kelly was tasked with lobbing the questions at the potential candidates, but some say she zeroed in on Trump from the beginning.

One particular question began a war of words between Megyn Kelly and Donald Trump.

During the debate, Megyn Kelly asked the Donald, “Mr. Trump, one of the things people love about you is you speak your mind and you don’t use a politician’s filter.”

She added, “However, that is not without its downsides. In particular when it comes to women, you’ve called women you don’t like fat pigs, dogs, slobs and disgusting animals…”

Donald Trump joked to Megyn Kelly that he was only referring to Rosie O’Donnell, but she pressed on.

Megyn Kelly continued, “Does that sound to you like the temperament of a man we should elect as president and how will you answer the charge from Hillary Clinton who is likely to be the Democratic nominee that you are part of the war on women?”

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=up8hbWjYI34

After the debate, Trump went on the defensive claiming that Megyn Kelly’s questions were “off-base” and “ridiculous.”

He then infamously added, “You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes. Blood coming out of her wherever.”

Many a critic of Trump’s has insisted that Trump was referring to her menstrual cycle and have called him a pig and many other colorful names.

But Megyn Kelly, after the initial backlash, has insisted that she was not attacking Trump during the debate.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0IkbH5mEFxE

Sunday, on Fox’s Media Buzz, Megyn Kelly said, “My job is to go out there and ask probing questions that are hopefully smart and help the people learn something about this person and, in this context, their weaknesses.”

She added, “It was a fair question.”

What do you think? Was Megyn Kelly’s question fair? Was Trump’s response pigish or was he just being Trump?

  • Michelle Duggar, Husband Jim Bob Issue Statement in Wake of ’19 Kids and Counting’ Cancellation

Michelle Duggar, Husband Jim Bob Issue Statement in Wake of ’19 Kids and Counting’ Cancellation

Michelle Duggar and her husband Jim Bob issued a joint statement earlier today following an announcement on behalf of TLC that 19 Kids and Counting has been officially cancelled.

The network stopped airing episodes of the show shortly after the Josh Duggar sexual molestation scandal hit the media a couple of months ago.

It was via the Duggar Family Website (typically manned by Michelle Duggar) that the 19 Kids and Counting matriarch and patriarch shared word that they knew their reality show is finished.

“Today, TLC announced that they will not be filming new episodes of 19 Kids and Counting.

Years ago, when we were asked to film our first one hour documentary about the logistics of raising 14 children, we felt that it was an opportunity to share with the world that children are a blessing and a gift from God.

We are so thankful for our film crew that has shown up at our house for over a decade. They have become like family to us. They have invested their time and energy into our lives and have been so loving and patient. We love and appreciate them so much!

Over the last several years people have said to us, “We love your show!” We have always responded, “It’s not a show, it’s our lives!” Our desire in opening our home to the world is to share Bible principles that are the answers for life’s problems.

With God’s grace and help Josh, our daughters and our entire family overcame a terrible situation, found healing and a way forward. We are so pleased with the wonderful adults they have all become.

It is our prayer that the painful situation our family went through many years ago can point people toward faith in God and help others who also have lived through similar dark situations to find help, hope and healing, as well.

We appreciate the love, support, prayers and kindness extended to us by many of you. You have deeply touched our hearts and encouraged us, during this time.

God’s faithfulness and goodness to us, along with His abundant grace have given us strength and joy even in the most difficult days.

We have committed to Him that in all things—difficulties or success, good times or bad—we will purpose to bring Him honor by staying true to our faith and our family.

We look forward to working with TLC on this upcoming special documentary and hope that it is an encouragement to many.

We know Who holds the future and are confident that He will work all things together for good.

We love each of you and look forward to unfolding the future with peace and joy.

    With Gratefulness,

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar family”

Michelle Duggar said during her interview with Megyn Kelly on Fox’s The Kelly File that the family would be just fine if TLC opted to cancel their show. Jessa Duggar Seewald said on the second part of the interview that they are a family who just happens to be on a reality show. She indicated that the reality show in no way defines the Duggar family.

It will be interesting to learn if any of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s children issue statements about TLC’s cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting.

Josh Duggar sexually molested five underage girls when he was a teenager. Four of them are his own sisters. One was a family babysitter.

  • Jessa Duggar Seewald: ’19 Kids and Counting’ Star Shares Growing Baby Bump Photo

Jessa Duggar Seewald of 19 Kids and Counting fame is 20 weeks along in her pregnancy–half way there. She recently shared a photo of her growing baby bump–the way sister Jill Duggar Dillard shared hers when she was expecting her baby boy Israel.

It’s refreshing to see Jessa Duggar doing something life-affirming and carefree. She has been at the center of brother Josh Duggar’s sexual molestation scandal. Both she and Jill Duggar appeared on Fox’s The Kelly File and spoke with Megyn Kelly about being two of their brother’s five victims.

Both girls were adamant in saying they felt far more victimized by the media’s portrayal of what happened all those years ago than they did by their brother’s sexual molestation.

Hopefully now that both Jill and Jessa Duggar have spoken their piece, they can get back to living their lives with some normalcy.

For Jessa Duggar Seewald, that means concentrating on the fact that in about 20 more weeks, she will be a mom.

A photo posted by Jessa Seewald (@jessaseewald) on

Jessa Duggar also shared a new ultrasound photo of Baby Seewald. This is the second ultrasound shot she has shared in recent days.

“#BabySeewald is growing fast! Already practicing swallowing, sucking a thumb, and actively moving arms and legs! So excited at the feeling of these first baby kicks! #UltrasoundVideo #20Weeks –with @ben_seewald “For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.
My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.
How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them!
If I would count them, they are more than the sand. I awake, and I am still with you.” – Psalm 139:13-18,” she captioned the shot.

A video posted by Jessa Seewald (@jessaseewald) on

Jill Duggar Dillard has also started–albeit slowly–returning to social media, too. She has shared new photos of Israel David Dillard–now two months old–in recent days.

Kudos to both Jill and Jessa Duggar. They didn’t ask to be thrust into the spotlight when word of Josh Duggar’s sexual molestations went public. They deserve some peace and quiet, and to move on with their lives in the way they are accustomed.

  • Kate Gosselin: Bodyguard Steve Neild Helping ’19 Kids and Counting’s’ Josh and Anna Duggar Move

Kate Gosselin has long been flanked by bodyguard Steve Neild. Photos of Neild accompanying her in New York–when she appeared on Celebrity Apprentice–and traveling with Kate and her eight little Gosselins have appeared online and in magazines for years. Rumors even say Kate Gosselin and Steve Neild have been/are romantically involved.

Now Steve Neild is on a new mission–albeit quite likely a temporary one. He is presently just outside of Washington, D.C., helping Josh and Anna Duggar of 19 Kids and Counting fame move back home to Arkansas.

Neild was spotted at the disgraced 19 Kids and Counting star’s Oxon Hill, Maryland home earlier this week. Josh Duggar listed the home for rent following his sexual molestation scandal and subsequent resignation from the Family Research Council. Steve Neild won’t be serving as full-time security for Josh Duggar, 27, and his wife and three children, but he was there to help the family as they prepared for the moving trucks. It is likely Steve Neild was busy keeping the paparazzi at bay.

Neild has worked for Kate Gosselin since her split from Jon Gosselin back in 2009.

So how does Kate Gosselin’s bodyguard wind up working for Josh Duggar?

It’s got to be per TLC–the network that airs 19 Kids and Counting and previously aired both shows featuring Kate Gosselin--Jon and Kate Plus 8 and Kate Plus 8. It’s quite likely that Steve Neild will soon return to Kate Gosselin’s side–in some capacity, at least–once his stint with Josh Duggar is through.

Josh and Anna Duggar are moving to a home they purchased in foreclosure back in January, near where Josh’s parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, live. Josh sexually molested five underage girls when he was a teenager. Two of his victims–Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald–addressed the media in an interview with The Kelly File’s Megyn Kelly on Friday.

  • Jessa Duggar, Jill Duggar: ’19 Kids and Counting’ Sisters Say Josh Duggar Made ‘Bad Choices’

Jessa Duggar Seewald and Jill Duggar Dillard spoke with Fox’s Megyn Kellyn on The Kelly File Friday night about their brother Josh Duggar’s sexual molestation scandal. The sisters explained that what happened to them was very mild compared to what happens to many victims of sexual molestation.

“I was one of the victims so I can speak out,” Jessa Duggar said. “In Josh’s case, he was a boy, young boy in puberty, and a little too curious about girls and that got him into some trouble,” she said. “And he made some bad choices, but really the extent of it was mild inappropriate touching on fully clothed victims. Most of it while girls were sleeping.”

“We didn’t even know about it until he went and confessed it to our parents,” Jill Duggar Dillard said. She added that what happened to her was “very mild compared to what happened to some.”

“So many girls go through things that are a lot worse,” Jessa added.

Jessa Duggar Dillard believes her brother Josh Duggar had undergone a big change when he returned from counseling following the sexual molestations.

“I think by the time that … the report was made and everything, it was very obvious to everyone, us and our family, friends, officials that Josh was a completely changed person,” she said. “He had not gone down that path for years. He was humble before God, before us, before the officials that were involved.”

Both Jill and Jessa Duggar have forgiven their brother. They are far more upset by the media these days than by what their brother did to them all those years ago.

“I see it as a revictimization that’s even a thousand times worse” than the molestation, Jill said. “Because this is something that was already dealt with. We’ve already forgiven Josh. We’ve already moved on.”

Do you think TLC will move on from the Josh Duggar molestation scandal? Will it mean the end of 19 Kids and Counting and a life with no reality show for Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar and their large brood?

Josh Duggar and his wife Anna, along with their children, were reportedly packing up to move from their home near Washington, D.C. on Tuesday, where he once worked for the Family Research Council. They are heading back to Arkansas. They were being assisted by Kate Gosselin’s bodyguard, Steve Neild.

  • ’19 Kids and Counting:’ Jessa Duggar Seewald Says Life Will Go On If Show Cancelled

19 Kids and Counting might get cancelled, now that advertisers have pulled away from the TLC show in the wake of the Josh Duggar sexual molestation scandal. During an interview on Friday night with The Kelly File’s Megyn Kelly, Jessa Duggar Seewald talked about what will happen to the Duggar family if their reality show is cancelled.

“We’re not a TV family,” Jessa said. “We’re a family that just happened to be on TV.”

Jessa Duggar added that if 19 Kids and Counting is, in fact, cancelled, that “life goes on.”

TLC is reportedly considering a 19 Kids and Counting spinoff if they cancel the original Duggar family TV show. 2 Brides and Their Grooms would star Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald, along with their husbands Derick Dillard and Ben Seewald. It would eliminate Josh Duggar from the picture completely and significantly cut down on air time for both Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar–the 19 Kids and Counting parents.

Jill Duggar shared her thoughts on the what-ifs that presently surround 19 Kids and Counting.

“We always just had the mindset of, this show is just a window of opportunity that God has allowed our family to be on television and to share with other people our lives,” she said.

“We do love our film crew,” Jill Duggar Dillard added. “They’re like family to us. We’ll see. We’ll see what life brings. We don’t know at this point.”

Do you admire the attitude both Jill and Jessa Duggar–who are both on the list of Josh Duggar’s victims–have about their family’s reality show? It certainly sounds like they are far more interested in their family than they are in remaining on TV.

Do you think TLC will wind up pulling the 19 Kids and Counting plug, and if so, will advertisers consider supporting 2 Brides and Their Husbands instead?

  • Duggar Sisters Jill Duggar Dillard, Jessa Duggar Seewald Say Josh Duggar Made ‘Bad Choices’

Duggar sisters Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald told Fox’s Megyn Kelly during their interview on The Kelly File Friday evening that their brother Josh Duggar made ‘bad choices.’

The 19 Kids and Counting siblings are two of Josh Duggar’s admitted victims of sexual molestations that took place when the sisters–now 24 and 22–were 12 and ‘nine or 10,’ respectively.

“I was one of the victims so I can speak out,” Jill Duggar told Fox. “In Josh’s case, he was a boy, young boy in puberty, and a little too curious about girls and that got him into some trouble,” she said. “And he made some bad choices, but really the extent of it was mild inappropriate touching on fully clothed victims. Most of it while girls were sleeping.”

“We didn’t even know about it until he went and confessed it to our parents,” the older of the two Duggar sisters added. She said what happened to her was “very mild compared to what happened to some.”

On Wednesday, in the first part of Megyn Kelly’s interview with the 19 Kids and Counting family members, parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar explained their side of things. They said Josh Duggar came to him when he committed these acts, and admitted to what he had done. Two other Duggar sisters were his victims as well. Many suspect Jana Duggar–the oldest of all the Duggar sisters–as well as Jinger Duggar, who is now 21, were among his victims. Josh Duggar also sexually molested one underage girl who wasn’t part of the 19 Kids and Counting family.

Jessa Duggar Seewald told Megyn Kelly on Friday night that Josh Duggar was a different person when he returned from counseling.

“I think by the time that…the report was made and everything, it was very obvious to everyone, us and our family, friends, officials that Josh was a completely changed person,” she said. “He had not gone down that path for years. He was humble before God, before us, before the officials that were involved.”

Do you think the Duggar sisters are underestimating the seriousness of what Josh Duggar did to them by referring to his actions ‘bad choices?’ Or has the media blown the scenario way out of proportion, targeting the entire 19 Kids and Counting family for something that should have remained a family matter only?

  • Josh Duggar Sexual Molestation Scandal: Sisters Jill Duggar Seewald, Jessa Duggar Dillard Call It ‘Revictimization’

Josh Duggar Sexual Molestation Scandal: Sisters Jill Duggar Seewald, Jessa Duggar Dillard Call It ‘Revictimization’

The Josh Duggar sexual molestation scandal was front and center on Friday night as Fox’s Megyn Kelly shared her second part of an interview with the 19 Kids and Counting family on The Kelly File. Friday night’s segment highlighted her conversation with sisters Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald–both admitted victims of Josh Duggar, who believe the media’s attack on their family is revictimization–and far worse than what happened to them at the hands of their brother all those years ago.

“I see it as a revictimization that’s even 1,000 times worse,” Jill Duggar Dillard said.

Jill explained that neither she nor Jessa Duggar Seewald wanted to appear on camera talking about this family crisis that occurred many years ago, but they felt they needed to do so to ‘set the record straight.’

“This is something like we chose to do, nobody asked us to do this,” Dillard said.

“Most of the stuff out there is lies,” she added. “It’s not the truth.”

Jessa Duggar came to Josh Duggar’s defense, saying people shouldn’t be referring to him as a child molester Josh Duggar is a husband and father. He and wife Anna Duggar have three children, with a fourth due in July.

“I do want to speak up in his defense against people who are calling him a child molester or a pedophile or a rapist,” she said, “I’m like that is so overboard and a lie really. I mean people get mad at me for saying that, but I can say this because I was one of the victims.”

During their interview with Megyn Kelly, both Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald explained that they were unaware Josh Duggar had sexually molested them until their parents explained to them privately–one at a time–exactly what had happened. Jill was 12 at the time. Jessa was nine or 10, she explained.

“My parents took [us] aside individually, and they said here’s what’s happened and of course at that point, you’re like, ohh, you’re shocked, you know,” Jessa Duggar said.

Josh Duggar sexually molested three other young girls. Two more are said to be siblings of Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald. Most believe sisters Jana Duggar and Jinger Duggar were also molested, as was one young girl who isn’t related to the 19 Kids and Counting family. Apparently none of these other victims chose to speak out about the incident.

Will TLC put 19 Kids and Counting back on the air or will they go ahead with tentative plans for a spinoff. Rumor has it they are considering filming a new show–2 Brides and Their Grooms–starring Jill and Jessa Duggar and their husbands, Derick Dillard and Ben Seewald. This will eliminate Josh Duggar from the show completely, and use Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar sparingly, as many still disagree with the way they handled Josh’s sexual molestation incidents.

What’s your take on the entire Josh Duggar sexual molestation scandal now that his parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, as well as sisters, Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald, have shared their accounts of the family’s history that has been rehashed in the media?

Can you understand Jill Duggar’s comment that bringing this out now has revictimized not just her, but Josh Duggar’s other victims as well?

  • Jill Duggar Talks Safeguards ’19 Kids and Counting’ Parents Put in Place After Josh Duggar Sexually Molested Her and Sisters

Jill Duggar says her parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, put some excellent safeguards in place after she and her sisters were sexually molested by their brother, Josh Duggar. The 19 Kids and Counting star talked with The Kelly File’s Megyn Kelly about those safeguards in an interview that airs Friday night.

So what were some of those safeguards?

“Not being alone,” Jill Duggar Dillard said on The Kelly File in preview excerpts released earlier on Friday to Us Weekly. “My parents said, ‘Okay, we’re not going to do this hide-and-seek thing where two people go off and hide together.’”

In the first part of Megyn Kelly’s interview with the 19 Kids and Counting family that aired Wednesday, Jim Bob Duggar said Josh Duggar came to him at the age of 14 and explained what he’d done to his sisters. In addition to Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald, it is believed that Jana Duggar and Jinger Duggar were the other sibling sexual molestation victims. There is one more victim–not a member of the Duggar family.

“He came to us and was crying and told us what happened,” Jim Bob recalled, adding that “safeguards” were then put into place as a preventative measure against further sexual molestation.

Jill Duggar explained more about those safeguards.

“Locks on the doors,” she said, point-blank. “You know, everybody’s in bed. Girls in the girls’ room. Boys in the boys’ room–as a mother now I look back, and I think, you know, my parents did such an amazing job for me. Even when we went through the DHS investigation they complimented my parents on what an amazing job they did through that process.”

“I hope I can set up the same safeguards in my family that they did,” Jill Duggar added.

A psychological and emotional struggle followed the sexual molestation of the 19 Kids and Counting sisters.

“I was angry at first, I was like, ’How could this happen?’” Jill Duggar tells Megyn Kelly in tonight’s broadcast. “And then, you know, my parents explained to us what happened and then Josh came and asked each of us, individually, I know, he asked me to forgive him. And I had to make that choice to forgive him, you know? And it wasn’t something that somebody forced, like, ‘Oh, you need to do this.’ It’s like, you have to make that decision for yourself.”

Jim Bob Duggar explained to Jana, Jill, Jinger, and Jessa Duggar that forgiveness doesn’t always go hand in hand with trust.

“My dad explained to us, he said, ‘You know there’s a difference between forgiveness and trust. That’s not the same thing.’ You know, you forgive someone and then you have boundaries. Forgiveness with boundaries. Trust comes later,” Jill explained. “Josh destroyed that trust at the beginning, and so he had to rebuild that. I think when he came back, that was…the point of rebuilding.”

Will you be tuning in this evening–Friday, June 5th–for the second portion of Megyn Kelly’s interview with Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, as well as with Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald?

Hopefully there will be greater understanding of what the Duggar family experienced following the sexual molestations Josh Duggar committed.

  • Jill Dillard, Jessa Duggar Seewald: ’19 Kids and Counting’ Sisters Victims of Josh Duggar’s Sexual Molestation

Jill Dillard, nee Jill Duggar, and her sister Jessa Duggar Seewald are both victims of brother Josh’s Duggar’s sexual molestation. The 19 Kids and Counting sisters appeared on The Kelly File Wednesday night, as Megyn Kelly interviewed them along with parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar about the Josh Duggar sexual molestation scandal.

Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard spoke just briefly during Wednesday night’s interview. They will speak at greater length during a special episode of The Kelly File on Friday night.

The sisters appeared long enough on Wednesday’s episode to identify themselves as two of the four sisters Josh Duggar sexually molested. Eldest sister Jana Duggar and younger sister Jinger Duggar are believed to be the other two siblings he molested.

“We are victims, they can’t do this to us,” Jill Dillard said, crying. She was speaking of the attention focused on her and the 19 Kids and Counting family that has been constant since word of Josh Duggar’s past hit the media nearly two weeks ago.

“The system that was set up to protect kids, both those who make stupid mistakes or have problems like this in their life and the ones that are affected by those choices. It’s greatly failed,” Jessa Duggar Seewald said.

Jill Duggar Dillard was far more distraught during her brief time on the air Wednesday night than sister Jessa. The young mom–married almost a year now–had difficulty speaking to the Fox cameras.

Jessa Duggar Seewald made it quite clear she doesn’t want her brother called a child molester.

“I’m like, that is so overboard and a lie really,” she said. “I mean, people get mad at me for saying that but I can say this because I was one of the victims.”

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar answered Megyn Kelly’s questions and hopefully eased minds about the way they handled the Josh Duggar situation. They bot sought counsel from within their church and took Josh Duggar and the sisters he victimized to an accredited clinical therapist.

Will you be tuning in on Friday to hear the rest of Megyn Kelly’s interview with Jessa Seewald and Jill Dillard? It will be interesting to learn what else the 19 Kids and Counting sisters have to say about their lives in the years since they were victimized.

  • Jessa Duggar Seewald Defends ’19 Kids and Counting’ Brother Josh Duggar, ‘Don’t Call Him Child Molester’

Jessa Duggar Seewald, the third of 19 Kids and Counting parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s daughters, is one of brother Josh Duggar’s sexual molestation victims. Yet she doesn’t want people calling her brother a child molester.

Jessa Duggar–along with sister Jill Duggar Dillard, also one of their brother’s victims–spoke out briefly during an interview conducted by The Kelly File’s Megyn Kelly on Fox on Wednesday night.

“I do want to speak up in his defense against people who are calling him a child molester or a pedophile or a rapist, some people are saying,” Jessa Duggar told Kelly of brother Josh Duggar. “I’m like, ‘That is so overboard and a lie really.’ I mean people get mad at me for saying that, but I can say this because I was one of the victims.”

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar shared information during this interview that most of the public–including many 19 Kids and Counting fans–didn’t know. The most important fact she shared was that Josh Duggar and his victims–purportedly Jinger and Jana Duggar, in addition to Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald–received accredited clinical counseling in the aftermath of the sexual molestations. Many believed the only counseling any of the family members had received was church based.

Michelle Duggar said during the interview that Jill and Jessa Duggar are feeling more victimized by the press than by what their brother did all those years ago.

They “have been victimized more by what has happened in the last couple of weeks than they were 12 years ago because, honestly, they didn’t even understand and know that anything had happened until after the fact when they were told about it,” she said.

Both Jessa Duggar Seewald and Jill Duggar Dillard will speak more in depth in a continued interview with Megyn Kelly on The Kelly File, Friday night at 9:00 p.m. on Fox. It will certainly be interesting to get more of both sister’s perspectives on the crimes their brother committed against them and the aftermath that shattered the 19 Kids and Counting family’s silence several years later.

  • Jessa Seewald: ’19 Kids and Counting’ Daughter One of Brother Josh Duggar’s Victims, Defends Him

Jessa Seewald, nee Jessa Duggar, admits she was one of brother Josh Duggar’s sexual molestation victims, yet she is still defending her brother–asking people not to call him a child molester.

The 19 Kids and Counting daughter spoke out very briefly–along with sister Jill Duggar Dillard–during parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s interview on Wednesday night with The Kelly File’s Megyn Kelly. Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald’s portion of the interview will be expanded upon during a Fox special on Friday night.

“I do want to speak up in his defense against people who are calling him a child molester or a pedophile or a rapist, some people are saying,” Jessa Dillard told Megyn Kelly of brother Josh Duggar. “I’m like, ‘That is so overboard and a lie really.’ I mean people get mad at me for saying that, but I can say this because I was one of the victims.”

Wednesday night’s interview with Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar did bring to light some facets of the scenario the public hadn’t known–like the fact that Josh Duggar and all of his sibling victims–purportedly Jana Duggar and Jinger Duggar in addition to Jessa Duggar Seewald and Jill Duggar Dillard–received licensed, accredited therapy in the wake of the sexual molestations. Until then, many believed the only counseling the entire family had received was from their church elders.

Michelle Duggar insists that both Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald–perhaps because they are the 19 Kids and Counting siblings most popular with fans at this time–have been more victimized by the media these past two weeks than they were by what Josh Duggar did to them all those years ago.

They “have been victimized more by what has happened in the last couple of weeks than they were 12 years ago because, honestly, they didn’t even understand and know that anything had happened until after the fact when they were told about it,” she said.

It seems Jessa Duggar Seewald agrees.

Fans can watch Megyn Kelly continue her interview with both Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald on Friday night, June 5th, during a special hour-long episode of The Kelly File. It airs on Fox at 9:00 p.m.

  • Jessa Duggar, Jill Duggar Confirmed as Josh Duggar’s Victims, Will Speak During Megyn Kelly Interview

Jessa Duggar Seewald and Jill Duggar Dillard have been confirmed as two of eldest brother Josh Duggar’s sexual molestation victims. Jana Duggar and Jinger Duggar are the other two thought to be among his victims.

Jill and Jessa Duggar will reportedly speak tonight when Fox’s Megyn Kelly interviews 19 Kids and Counting parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar about Josh Duggar’s sexual molestation scandal.

As fans of 19 Kids and Counting know, neither Jessa Duggar Seewald nor Jill Duggar Dillard asked Josh Duggar to play a role in their weddings. When Jill got married last June, there were several bridesmaids and groomsmen, but Josh wasn’t among her husband’s attendants. When Jessa Duggar married Ben Seewald in November, Josh Duggar didn’t even come to the wedding. Since hindsight is so often 20/20, speculation about Josh Duggar’s past with regard to both Jill and Jessa Duggar has fans feeling quite certain that his omission from their weddings had a very profound meaning. It seems they were right.

On Wednesday night at 9:00 p.m., ET, Megyn Kelly of The Kelly File will interview Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar and ask some very direct questions about what they knew about his sexual molestations. The Hollywood Reporter claims sisters Jill and Jessa Duggar will answer questions during the interview as well. It is uncertain as to how much information members of the 19 Kids and Counting family will share.

There were only five girls in the Duggar family at the time that Josh Duggar sexually molested his sisters. That’s why it stands to reason that Jana Duggar, Jill Duggar Dillard, Jessa Duggar Seewald, and Jinger Duggar were his victims. Josh Duggar also molested one more underage female who isn’t related to the 19 Kids and Counting family.

Will you be tuning in to watch the 19 Kids and Counting interview with Megyn Kelly? How do you expect Jill and Jessa Duggar will portray what their brother did to them? Will they do so with the typical emotions of sexual abuse victims or will they show the deep love and forgiveness their parents have coached them to display?

  • Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar to Answer ‘Harder Questions’ in Megyn Kelly’s Fox Interview About Josh Duggar Sexual Molestation Scandal

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, parents of the 19 Kids and Counting brood, will answer what The Kelly File’s Megyn Kelly calls ‘the harder questions’ during an interview on Fox at 9:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday night. The topic of their interview is, of course, the sexual molestation of five underage girls–four of whom are Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s daughters–by their eldest son, Josh Duggar.

“There was no magic to it,” Kelly says of securing the high-profile interview. “I approached them and made the argument that I would be the best person for them to sit down with. I told them the truth, which is that I will be tough, but I will be fair. I think they know that’s my reputation.”

Soon after word broke of Josh Duggar molesting the five young girls, he, along with Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, as well as Josh’s wife Anna Duggar, all issued statements to the media, admitting that what people were reading about was, in fact, the truth.

Since then, however, everyone in the Duggar family has remained mum–with everyone’s questions about the situation remaining unanswered. Megyn Kelly hopes to answer some of them tonight.

“My goal going down there is to get the story,” she explains. “A first-person account of what Josh did, who was involved, what the parents did about it, how they satisfied themselves that it had been resolved, what they did to help the victims, and to answer some of the harder questions about whether they behaved hypocritically.”

Many are likely wondering if Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar will admit which of their daughters Josh Duggar sexually molested. Common belief is that Jana Duggar, Jill Duggar Dillard, Jessa Duggar Seewald, and Jinger Duggar were the sisters involved in the molestations.

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have insisted they won’t speak of the details of the molestations, however.

“They do not want to talk about the details of the molestation, and I understand that as the parents of those involved, and that’s fine,” Megyn Kelly says. “I’ve been told I’m not going to get answers there.”

Will you be tuning in to The Kelly File at 9:00 tonight to see Megyn Kelly interview Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar? Do you expect people will get answers to at least some of the things they’ve questioned since word of Josh Duggar’s sexual molestation scandal hit the media?

  • Josh Duggar: Parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar to Address His Sexual Molestations in Fox Interview

Josh Duggar admittedly committed some heinous acts as a teenager. The 19 Kids and Counting star sexually molested five underage females–four of whom are his own sisters.

Now, for the first time since word of Josh Duggar’s sexual molestations hit the media, his parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, will address the situation in an interview with Fox’s Megyn Kelly.

Fox News has confirmed that Megyn Kelly will interview Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar for airing on The Kelly File on Wednesday, June 3rd at 9:00 p.m. ET. In addition, a second portion of the interview will be filmed at the 19 Kids and Counting family’s home in Springdale, Arkansas. This will air during a special one-hour episode of The Kelly File on Friday, June 5th.

How much do you suppose Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar will divulge about Josh Duggar? Will they continue to preach forgiveness and to minimize what their son did?

Josh Duggar issued a statement when word broke that his long-kept cover had been blown.

“I confessed this to my parents who took several steps to help me address the situation. We spoke with the authorities where I confessed my wrongdoing, and my parents arranged for me and those affected by my actions to receive counseling,” Josh said. “I understood that if I continued down this wrong road that I would end up ruining my life.”

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar issued a joint statement at the same time.

“When Josh was a young teenager, he made some very bad mistakes, and we were shocked. We had tried to teach him right from wrong. That dark and difficult time caused us to seek God like never before,” they said.

What neither Josh Duggar nor Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar has commented on is the impact Josh Duggar’s actions no doubt had on his victims. Many have speculated that sisters Jana Duggar, Jill Duggar Dillard, Jessa Duggar Seewald, and Jinger Duggar are the siblings Josh Duggar sexually molested several years ago. How have his actions affected their lives?

Will you be tuning in to hear Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar discuss their son Josh Duggar and his heinous actions?

TLC is up in the air as to how they’ll handle upcoming episodes of 19 Kids and Counting. There is some speculation that they will cancel the show and air a spinoff–2 Brides and Their Grooms–starring Jill Duggar Dillard, Jessa Duggar Seewald, and their husbands instead. Advertisers have already withdrawn from 19 Kids and Counting.

Will those advertisers be watching Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar closely during their interviews with Megyn Kelly?

You can likely bet big bucks on that.

  • Melissa Harris-Perry’s “Humiliating” Holder Request

Melissa Harris-Perry put Attorney General Eric Holder through a long interview on Sunday.

As a reporter, Melissa Harris-Perry covered all the big topics like gun control, voting rights, etc.

Through the interview, Holder remained a professional.

However, as the interview ended, Melissa Harris-Perry pulled a strange move.

The MSNBC reporter out of left field revealed that, at her show’s office, the folks like to refer to him as “The Duck”.

Holder looked at Melissa Harris-Perry very confused-like for an awkward moment before asking, “The Duck?”

Melissa Harris-Perry explained, “We say you have a very placid, even way of presenting, but you are just working for justice underneath.”

She then asked, “Would you quack for us?”

    Eric Holder declined, of course.

But, he said he agreed with Melissa Harris-Perry’s analogy.

He said, “On the surface, I’d like to think that’s the way I appear to be.”

Then he added, “But you’re absolutely right, those little duck feet are moving as fast as they can underneath and things are going as fast as they can behind the scenes.”

Well, Eric Holder took Melissa Harris-Perry’s comments in stride, but not everyone was impressed with the way the interview ended. Some found it absurd and even distasteful.

Fox News’ Megyn Kelly was floored.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x2HvC0ARg5c

Kelly called it a “terrible question”. She said the “duck” part of the interview was embarrassing and that Melissa Harris-Perry might as well have “proclaim[ed] her undying love for Eric Holder.”

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VbX5oJTRCQg

To this she added, “How humiliating for her!”

What do you think of the situation?

The interview ended strangely, indeed. But, was it embarrassing or humiliating for Melissa Harris-Perry? Or, all in good fun and a humanizing moment for Eric Holder?

  • Megyn Kelly Would Like to Welcome Mike F––kabee to the Program

It’s easy to accidentally slip an F-bomb into everyday conversation. Everyone does it. You mean to say you’re going to drop off the truck, and suddenly you’re dropping off f–k. It happens to the best of us.

Well, it happened to Fox News host Megyn Kelly on her show The Kelly File last night.

Kelly was introducing fellow Fox News host Mike Huckabee when she made the slip. “Joining me now, former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, who’s the host of fucka– … Huckabee right here on the Fox News channel,” said Kelly.

Kelly later acknowledged the slip-up, pointing to the fact that she was getting quite a lot of attention on Twitter.

“Something else that happened on the program is also getting a lot of attention on Twitter and including this tweet from some nice man named Sean who said ‘Megyn you’re a delight to watch and gave a stoic performance after your slip up with Governor Huckabee’s name.’ I thought I was stoic too – I have a heart of a 12 year old boy,” she said.

    Check it out:

To Kelly’s credit, she played it off like a champ.
