  • Megyn Kelly: Why A Former University of Pittsburgh Woman is Getting Hate Mail Intended for Fox Host

Megyn Kelly hosts The Kelly File on the Fox network. She also hosted the Republican debate earlier this summer. So why is a former University of Pittsburgh woman receiving hate mail intended for Megyn Kelly?

It’s because her name is Megan Kelly. Note the difference in the spelling of the two first names.

Megan Kelly says she has received Megyn Kelly’s email in the past, but definitely not as much as she has received since the Republican debate.

Not all the emails she has received are hate mail. Some people have asked her to send them autographed pictures. Wouldn’t it be funny if she sent them? Those expecting a photo of Megyn Kelly would definitely be confused.

Other people have cautioned her not to “sit there and attack Trump!”

Megan Kelly has taken it all in stride.

“Some of the people who are emailing me kind of aren’t understanding how the internet works,” she says.

Megan Kelly finds many of the emails she receives quite amusing. She has taken to posting them on her Facebook page.

“It’s really weird,” she says. “It’s not consistent. But every time I get one, I’m like, ‘Yes!’”

Megyn Kelly has yet to comment on Megan Kelly receiving her emails. If she finds herself in the Pittsburgh area, she definitely owes Megan dinner. Perhaps she should leave a stack of autographed pictures with her, too?

Megyn Kelly: Hate Mail Intended for the Fox Host Goes to Former University of Pittsburgh Student

Megyn Kelly has been the recipient of much hate mail since she hosted the Republican debate earlier this summer. Unfortunately so has Megan Kelly, a former student at the University of Pittsburgh. Megan Kelly has been receiving hate male intended for Megyn Kelly.

Megan Kelly says she has received Megyn Kelly’s email in the past, but definitely not in the volume she has received since the Republican debate.

Not all the emails she has received are hate mail. Some people have asked for her autograph. Others, however, have cautioned her not to “sit there and attack Trump!”

Megan Kelly is very good natured about the sudden influx of email flooding her inbox each day. During a recent interview with CBS Pittsburgh, she says, “Some of the people who are emailing me kind of aren’t understanding how the internet works.”

That’s not such a big surprise. If they understood the internet, they likely would know the difference between the spelling of these two Kelly ladies’ first names.

Megan Kelly finds the whole thing quite humorous. In fact, she posts many of the emails intended for Megyn Kelly on her Facebook page.

“It’s really weird,” she says. “It’s not consistent. But every time I get one, I’m like, ‘Yes!’”

  • It’s Megyn Kelly, Not Megan Kelly; Woman Bombarded With Emails Sent To Her In Error

A young professional who lives in Pittsburgh has been receiving emails that were supposedly directed towards Fox News’ Megyn Kelly.

Megan Kelly, not “Megyn Kelly” was puzzled at first. She has been receiving emails requesting for autographs from the Fox reporter. Some emails commend the news anchor for her great work and others were filled with exclamation points as if screaming. The emails were mostly about the topics Megyn covered and people’s opinion about her.

Megan, who has a career in the field of marketing, says she receives one to two emails in a week. However, the emails started to come in more frequently ever since the Megyn-Trump feud.

Some email senders criticized Fox’s Megyn for “attacking” the GOP’s Trump. One sender by the name of Gregg said in his letter, “You use ‘other people call Donald Trump a…,’ so you can sit there and attack trump! Shame megyn!!”

Twenty-four-year-old Megan has now become somewhat used to receiving these messages after she tried and failed several times to figure out how the emails landed in her inbox.

“It’s really weird,” Megan said. “It’s not consistent. But every time I get one, I’m like, ‘Yes!’”

This only proves how Trump’s feud with Kelly helped the ratings of Fox News. According to the report of Mediaite, Megyn’s Kelly File beat Bill O’ Reilly’s The O” Reilly Factor  in the 25-54 demographic–a  41 percent increase in her ratings in that category.  But The O” Reilly Factor is still number one when it comes to viewership.

On August 6, Fox hosted the GOP presidential debate and Megyn acted as the moderator. The debate garnered a total of 24 million viewers, beating other cable channels in that time slot. CNN ranked second while MSNBC came in third in viewership.

Megyn Kelly’s show’s ratings and her popularity continue to climb, enough to make people send emails asking for her autograph.

  • Luke Bryan, Wife Raising His Late Sister’s Children

Luke Bryan and his wife Caroline Boyer are raising his late sister’s children, and the country singer is honored to be doing so.

Bryan’s sister died suddenly back in 2007. Her husband, Ben Lee Cheshire, died this past November, leaving their three teenagers orphaned.

“You don’t want to sound like you love having them so much that you’re glad it’s the situation, but we’re honored to be doing what we feel was the right thing,” Luke Bryan says in thelatest issue of Billboard magazine.

The “Kick Up Dust” singer and his wife already have two children. Adding three to their mix more than doubles their numbers, but doubles the love, too. Luke Bryan’s sister’s son is just 13, and lives permanently in their home. His two nieces are teens, but of legal age. They visit his home frequently for family gatherings and to spend time with their brother.

Luke Bryan realizes he has a lot to feel sad about. He counts his blessings, though, and looks to the positives in his life.

“So many people get record deals in Nashville, and they don’t ever get an album,” he explains. “So I just hang on to the positive and wake up every day grinding.”

Not everyone would take on three orphans. But then again Luke Bryan and his wife aren’t just anyone. They are people who clearly put family above all else.

His sister and her husband are likely smiling down on the scene from above.
