  • Kristin Chenoweth, Matthew Morrison To Host TLC Holiday Special From White House

Kristin Chenoweth and Matthew Morrison will be bringing some holiday cheer from the White House.

Joining First Lady Michelle Obama, the Glee stars will host Broadway at the White House, a Thanksgiving TV special on the TLC network designed to encourage teens seeking a career in theatre, Variety reported.

The special, which will air on TLC Nov. 26 at 8 p.m. ET, will also feature appearances by Broadway writers and performers Gloria Estefan, Christian Borle, Cicely Tyson, Whoopi Goldberg and others.

The symposium will include master classes in acting, directing, hair/make-up/costume design, music composition and musical theatre, according to Variety.

There will also be a Q&A for the student with the Broadway stars and, in the evening, performances featuring material from musicals Finding Neverland, Fun Home, An American in Paris, On Your Feet!, School of Rock and Something Rotten!

Be sure to catch Kristin Chenoweth and Matthew Morrison when the special airs on Nov. 26.

  • Katie Holmes, Michelle Williams: Daughters Suri Cruise, Matilda Ledger Growing Up Fast

Katie Holmes and Michelle Williams both have nine-year-old daughters, and when the mother-daughter duos showed up in New York this weekend, fans took notice.

Katie Holmes is, of course, the mom of Suri Cruise–her daughter with ex-husband Tom Cruise. Holmes and Cruise shared the stage at the 2015 Global Citizens Festival in Central Park. Katie Holmes served as host of the event.

Katie Holmes encouraged Suri to say hi to the audience. She looked adorable, but shy, in her gray leggings, pink and white dress, and white sweater.

Matilda Ledger is the daughter of Michelle Williams and the late Heath Ledger, who died back in 2008 when Matilda was just a toddler. This mother-daughter duo took in a Broadway play this weekend. The two saw Finding Neverland, starring former Glee star Matthew Morrison. They were spotted posing for a picture with the actor backstage after the show. Matilda was adorable in a tie-dyed t-shirt and cowboy hat.

It’s hard to believe that both Michelle Williams’s and Katie Holmes’s daughters are growing up so fast. It won’t be long before the two are navigating the streets of New York sans their famous moms.

Do you suppose the two might become friends?

  • Lea Michele Talks Emotion, Power of ‘Glee’ Finale

Lea Michele is preparing to say goodbye to her role as Rachel Berry on the hit TV series Glee. The show will air part one of its final episode on Friday night.

In a recent interview with the L.A. Times, Lea Michele talks about the show that made her famous–and paired her with her first real love, the late Corey Monteith.

Monteith died of an accidental overdose in Vancouver in July of 2013. He and Lea Michele were in love. He was honored in a farewell episode in October of that year.

“That was the day I fell to my knees and cried. I literally had to call my mother to come,” Lea said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

When discussing the show’s finale, Lea Michele remembered the first time the cast was together.

“I will always remember the pilot episode. Singing “Don’t Stop Believing” with the original kids. That will be forever frozen in my mind. Everything from then on was just this whole sort of spinning,” she said.

E! News writes about one scene in particular that was viewed prior to Friday night’s Glee finale. The cast even shared word of this scene with Ellen DeGeneres during a recent visit to her show.

“Will (Matt Morrison) appears to be singing Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young’s “Teach Your Children” to a room full of strangers and friends alike, including his current students and a few alumni including Tina, Artie, Sam, Blaine, and Kurt, but it’s clear that the song is really aimed at one person in particular, and that person is Rachel Berry,” the publication writes.

“We were crying so hard they actually cut,” Lea Michele told Ellen DeGeneres.

“She starts finding it hard to catch her breath about halfway through, which means we couldn’t catch our breath halfway through, and by the time Will blows her a kiss at the end, we were a blubbery mess. We can only imagine what we’ll be like tonight when the show says its final, final goodbyes with a two-hour finale, including a whole hour of brand new flashbacks to 2009, when the original members of the glee club first met. The second hour will flash forward five years to 2020, and then it will all be over, and we’ll have to find our emotional cover songs, clever insults, and inspirational speeches about loving ourselves as we are somewhere else,” E! News reports.

It must be bittersweet for Lea Michele and the rest of the Glee cast to know that tonight’s episode is part one of the show’s finale. It must be especially bittersweet for Lea Michele–even though she has moved on with a new love–to realize Corey Monteith isn’t sharing this milestone with the rest of them.

  • Audrina Patridge: Crying Over Corey Bohan?

Audrina Patridge was spotted a few days ago–decked out in a Halloween costume and crying on a bench–after attending Matthew Morrison’s Halloween party at Hyde nightclub in West Hollywood. The former Hills star went to the party with ex-boyfriend Corey Bohan. Is he the reason she was crying?

“Audrina and Corey were fighting outside the club while waiting for an Uber,” a source told E! News. “Their Uber took 30 minutes and Audrina cried the entire time. Corey just sat there while Audrina yelled at him. Occasionally he would say something, but it seemed as if he just wanted to get out of there.”

“He walked away from her a couple of times. She was screaming at Corey, telling him ‘It was you!’” the source added.

Audrina Patridge was rather scantily-clad as she sobbed on the bench. It was kind of hard to figure out exactly what or whom she was dressed as for the Halloween bash. Corey Bohan was also in costume. He looked like a law enforcement official–maybe a game warden–dressed in a khaki shirt and shorts.

So what’s the scoop with Audrina Patridge and Corey Bohan? Are they on? Are they off? Why did they even attend the party together if there was a chance that this might happen?

“They are always going back and forth. Audrina is still in love with him, and they still hang out, but he is a total player and messes with her mentally,” the E! source says. “She really cares about him, and it breaks her heart that he can’t commit to her the way she wants him to.”

Maybe Audrina Patridge’s tears on the bench indicated a final goodbye? If she is being messed with mentally, one can only hope she breaks up with Corey Bohan for good before any damage he does takes an even worse toll.

  • Renee Puente & Matthew Morrison Tie The Knot

Renee Puente said “I do” to her fiancé Matthew Morrison over the weekend.

According to People, Puente and the Glee star tied the knot during an intimate ceremony on Saturday. The ceremony took place in front of 50 of their close friends and family members at a “private estate in Kihei on the island of Maui, Hawaii.”

“It was a small affair,” a source told Us Weekly. “They wanted to keep it intimate and special.”

The couple looked stylish as ever with the groom wearing a Brooks Brothers tuxedo and the bride wearing a custom made Gustavo Cadile gown. Puente also had one-of-a-kind shoes designed by Emmy London.

The tropical wedding was complete with special music from pianist Chad Whidden and Kiley Dean. Dean sang Feels Like Home as Puente made her way down the isle to her future husband.

After the wedding, Puente put on a special hula performance for her hubby and then the two performed a duet to Laura Benanti’s Starry Eyed/Video Games.

On Monday, October 20, Morrison took to his personal Twitter account to introduce the Mrs. “Conquered Hurricane Ana and got married!” Morrison tweeted. “Most amazing week EVER. It’s my pleasure to introduce, my WIFE, Mrs. Renee Marie Morrison!!”

Morrison later shared a photo of him and his wife and captioned it by saying, “#mauilove #MauLoa.”

    Congratulations to the happy couple!

  • Lea Michele Talks Cory Monteith One Year Later

Lea Michele is remembering Cory Monteith today–the one-year anniversary of her boyfriend and former Glee costar’s untimely death. Monteith died from a heroin overdose in a Vancouver hotel room last July. The two had been dating for more than a year. Even though the actress and singer has started to move on, she will forever hold dear her treasured memories of time spent with Cory Monteith.

Lea and Cory starred opposite each other on Glee–she in her role as Rachel Berry and Cory as Finn Hudson–and were at one point a romantic couple on the show as well as in person.

Earlier on Sunday Lea Michele posted a touching tribute to Cory Monteith in the form of a tweet. It includes a photo of the young actor with a backdrop of a beautiful beach sunset.

Lea’s message was retweeted by former Glee costar Chris Colfer and thousands of followers and fans.

Several other Glee cast members also tweeted their tributes to Cory Monteith on Sunday.

Matthew Morrison had the following to say.

    Dot-Marie Jones posted two tweets.

Amber Patrice Riley shared the following message.

Jenna Ushkowitz posted a photo on Instagram in memory of Cory. Her caption reads, “365 days since you’ve gone and not a day passes we don’t remember your smiling face. We miss you buddy. Thanks to everyone for your love and support today while we remember our quarterback.”

Among the more poignant messages–sent via Twitter–came from Glee’s creator Ryan Murphy. Simple and understated, it spoke volumes.

While Cory Monteith’s family members and Lea Michele are no doubt feeling a much deeper level of grief over his passing a year ago, it’s plain to see that his costars are still feeling his loss, too. Perhaps after this first year of mourning many will find some closure in the aftermath of Cory’s tragic passing.
