  • Khloé Kardashian Addresses Rumors Through Twitter

Khloé Kardashian certainly hasn’t been spilling much about her recent divorce filing from basketball hubby, Lamar Odom. The Kardashian sister even managed to keep things private while reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians was filming. But now it seems the star just can’t keep it inside any longer.

On Wednesday, Kardashian took to twitter to reply to some rumors that have been swarming around her already heartbreaking situation.

Aside from the intimate details of her split from Odom, the rumors that seemed to push her to tweet was in regards to rumors that she and Los Angeles Dodgers star Matt Kemp were an item.

According to the December issue of Us Weekly, she will be keeping their $4 million Tarzana mansion and her $1 million diamond engagement ring. She’ll also be rewarded $2 million in a cash payout.

While that is a large chunk of change, money can’t buy happiness and we do wish Miss Khloé peace and love in during her difficult and very personal time.

  • Khloe Kardashian Addresses Matt Kemp Rumors

Khloe Kardashian took to Twitter this week to address the rumors regarding her possible relationship with Dodgers star Matt Kemp, admitting she was heartbroken due to her recent divorce and asking the rumor mongers to cool it.

The reality star has already changed her name on Twitter, leaving off her husband’s surname as they deal with the legalities of divorce. Lamar Odom, who allegedly cheated on Kardashian (and then rapped about it), has been ordered to give her a $2 million payout as well as their home in Tarzana. Kardashian will also be keeping her engagement ring, valued at around $1 million.

The couple had been battling rumors for months that there was trouble in paradise, including stories about Odom’s drug use and a confession by a woman who claims she was having an affair with him and was busted by Khloe herself at a hotel room.

“I was under the impression that he had left Khloe … he acted completely available and we definitely had a mutual attraction,” Polina Polonsy said. “After we had sex, Lamar stayed the night with me; the next day we went back to the Roosevelt. I stayed there with him for the next couple of nights.”

British magazine Heat speculated that one of the reasons the couple began having problems is that they were trying to start a family but were unsuccessful.

“Khloé has been fiercely loyal to Lamar – she’s always been a devoted wife,” a source said. “But she and Lamar have suffered after trying for a baby for so long with no joy, it put pressure on their relationship. Now they’re so distant, no one knows if they can repair things.”

  • Khloe Kardashian Dating Rumors Are False

Khloe Kardashian Dating Rumors Are False

It is not surprising that only days after Khloe Kardashian filed for divorce from her estranged husband Lamar Odom due to “irreconcilable differences”, rumors would start spreading about the newly single woman. The latest gossip on Kardashian is that she is dating the Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp.

Despite the many sightings of the two together, sources close to Kardashian and Kemp remain firm in saying that they are just friends. “They are just friends and have been for a long time,” a source tells PEOPLE. “Khloé is absolutely heartbroken right now over Lamar and dating someone is the last thing she’s thinking about.”

Another source adds that, while the friendship could turn romantic later, Kardashian never spent time with him while she was still with Odom. “It could be heading romantic in the future, but Khloé wasn’t spending time with him when she was still with Lamar. She absolutely wasn’t,” the source said. “People need to remember that she and Lamar haven’t lived together since June.”

The rumors were fueled by an Instagram post made by Kemp of Kris Jenner’s Christmas tree. The photo’s caption read: “Best time of the year!! It’s gonna b a Cali Christmas this year.” Is Kemp planning on spending Christmas with the Kardashian bunch? Although it hasn’t been confirmed, it is known that the two seem to be spending more and more time together. They attended a Drake concert together on November 25, a John Legend concert on December 1, and then a Jay Z concert on December 9.

  • Matt Kemp Gives Terminally Ill Fan A Day To Remember

Matt Kemp must be one of the nicest professional athletes in existence. Earlier this month, he gave $250,000 to tornado victims in Oklahoma. Over the weekend, he flew a terminally ill fan out to see the Dodgers play on their home turf.

Of course, this isn’t the first time that Kemp and his fan, Joshua Jones, 19, have met. During a baseball game three weeks ago, Jones’ father asked if Kemp could come over to say hi to his son. Jones got all that and more. In fact, Kemp gave Jones his jersey, cleats and hat.

Cut back to this past weekend. Kemp flew Jones and his family out to Dodgers Stadium to see him play. He also introduced Jones to Dodgers president Stan Kasten, Angels player Mike Trout and fellow Dodgers player Clayton Kershaw. The team’s official Twitter feed captured a few moments with Jones at the game, including his meeting with Kershaw:

To put icing on the cake, the Dodgers won their game 8-7. It was undoubtedly the perfect ending to a great night for Jones.

  • Matt Kemp Adds $250,000 Donation To Earlier Pledge

In the aftermath of this week’s tragic tornado outbreak in Oklahoma, many people across the country have rushed to do whatever they can to help. Donations of money, food, and other supplies have been sent by individuals and organizations in every corner of America.

Midwest City, Oklahoma native Matt Kemp is certainly no exception. The Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder pledged via Twitter on Monday, the day of the tornados, that he would donate $1,000 for every home run he hit until the All Star Break (in mid-July) to relief efforts.

While the gesture is undeniably generous, there were many who felt that it wasn’t enough. After all, critics argued, Kemp will make $20 million this year. Surely he could afford a little more than the few thousand dollars his initial grand-per-home run pledge would amount to? Well, Kemp apparently took those criticisms to heart. He announced today via the Chris Singleton Foundation that he would also donate $250,000 to relief efforts immediately, while continuing to honor his earlier $1,000 per home run pledge. Check out the announcement below:

    Dear Families of OKC,
On Monday, out of concern and emotion I committed $1,000.00 for every home run I hit until the All-Star Break. It was a quick and small gesture in advance of what I knew would be my greater contribution through your rebuilding process. I am keeping my pledge and in addition, donating $250,000.00. May God bless you through this and the many generous donations coming to your aid.” -Matt Kemp #PrayforOklahoma

Kemp has spent his entire career with the Dodgers, who drafted him in 2003. He rose to the majors in 2006 and has remained. In his seven years with the team he has hit 156 home runs. Only two of those home runs have come in the 2013 season.
